Match card
1. William Regal vs Rikishi in a Singles match.
2. Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit in a Two-out-of-three falls match for Angle's Olympic Gold Medal.
3. Rhyno (c) vs the Big Show vs Test in a Triple Threat Hardcore match for the WWF Hardcore Championship.
4. Chyna (c) vs Lita in a Singles match for the WWF Women's Championship.
5. Triple H (c) w/Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley vs Kane in a Chain match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship.
6. Tag team turmoil match to determine the #1 contenders to the WWF Tag Team Championship.
7. Stone Cold Steve Austin (c) vs the Bladewolf in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWF Championship.
WWF Judgment Day was live at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California. The event opened with WWF commissioner William Regal facing Rikishi. Regal performed a Regal Cutter on Rikishi to win the match.
Next, Kurt Angle faced Chris Benoit in a Two-out-of-three falls match for Angle's Olympic Gold Medal, with the first fall being a Singles match. Angle performed Rolling German Suplexes on Benoit and attempted a Diving Headbutt but Benoit avoided. Benoit performed an Angle Slam on Angle to win the first fall. The second fall was a Submission match. Angle performed an Angle Slam on Benoit and forced Benoit to submit to the Ankle Lock to win the second fall. The third fall was a Ladder match. Benoit applied a Crippler Crossface on Angle, who passed out. Edge and Christian interfered, attacking Benoit. Angle retrieved his Olympic Gold Medal to win the match.
After that, Rhyno defended the WWF Hardcore Championship against Test and The Big Show. Show and Test started fighting before Rhyno got involved. Test attempted to strangle Show with a rope but Rhyno stopped Test. Rhyno performed a Gore on Big Show to retain the title.
Next, Chyna defended the WWF Women's Championship against Lita. Chyna performed a Powerbomb on Lita to retain the title. Late in the match, Eddie Guerrero came out to watch. After the match, Chyna and Lita hugged out of respect.
After that, Triple H defended the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Kane in a Chain match. WWF Champion Steve Austin interfered, allowing Triple H to attack Kane with a low blow. Austin accidentally hit Triple H with a steel chair, allowing Kane to pin Triple H to win the title.
Later was a Tag team turmoil match to determine who would be the #1 Contenders to the WWF Tag Team Championship. Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn were eliminated by The APA (Bradshaw and Faarooq) after Faarooq pinned Saturn following a Spinebuster. The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley) were eliminated by the APA after Bradshaw pinned Bubba following a Clothesline From Hell. The APA were eliminated by X-Factor (X-Pac and Justin Credible) after Albert tripped Bradshaw, allowing X-Pac to pin him. The Hardy Boyz (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) were eliminated by X-Factor after X-Pac and Credible performed a double Superkick on Matt. X-Factor were eliminated by Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit after X-Pac submitted to the Walls of Jericho by Jericho and the Crippler Crossface by Benoit, which were applied simultaneously. Edge and Christian were eliminated by Jericho and Benoit after Benoit forced Christian to submit to the Crippler Crossface, meaning Jericho and Benoit won the match, and #1 Contendership for the WWF Tag Team Championship in the near future.
Next up was the Hell in a Cell match for the WWF Championship.
In the arena, the Hell in a Cell is lowered to the ring with ominous music playing and lights flashing, the usual entrance for when the Hell in a Cell is lowered. Soon, the ring was surrounded by the Hell in a Cell.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
'Oh, ah, ah, ah, ah! Get up, come on get down with the sickness!'
Down with the Sickness by Disturbed played to a loud pop from the fans and out comes the Bladewolf to a big pop from the crowd as he starts making his way down towards the ring.
"And here comes the Demon Wolf." JR said. "This man has been in a Hell in a Cell match before and he was brutal inside that cell. Now with everything that's happened over the past week, I got a feeling he's going to put Stone Cold Steve Austin though serious hell."
"The Hell in a Cell is a demonic, barbaric structure that ends careers." Heyman said. "Look at what happened to Mick Foley in 1998 at the hands of the Undertaker, look at what happened to Shawn Michaels in the very first Hell in a Cell match. Look at Armageddon last year, the six-man Hell ina Cell match. Rikishi was Chokeslammed off the top of the cell by the Undertaker!"
"And Bladeowlf looks to beat Austin up badlly tonight and win his 5th WWF Championship." JR said.
Bladeowlf stops at the doorway of the Hell ina Cell and looks it over with a sadistic smirk on his face befor ehe takes off his coat and tosses it aside then enters the cell and slides into the ring, pacing about inside the ring as his theme dies down and he waits.
"The Bladewolf is pacing like an animal." JR said. "Like a wolf waiting for it's prey to enter it's cage so it can devour it."
"And the Texas rattlesnake is that prey." Heyman nodded.
Stone Cold Steve Austin's theme hits and out comes the WWF Champion who slowly makes his way towards the ring, looking over the Hell in a Cell.
"Once you enter that cell, the door is locked and you are trapped in there." JR said. "Austin can't get any help from triple H or Vince McMahon, he's going to be all alone and locked in that cell with the Demon Wolf."
"Austin may be needing to say good ye to that WWF title tonight." Heyman said.
Austin takes off his vest and enters the doorway of the cell, the door is then slammed shut and locked as Austin watches... AND BLADEWOLF ATTACKS HIM FROM BEHIND!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
"here we go!" Jr exclaimed. "the Bladewolf wasting little time and going after Austin! Austin made the hideous phone call to the Bladewolf's girlfriend, Trish Stratus!"
Bladeowlf hammers away on Austin while leaning him aginst the cell befor ehe grabs Austin and launches him into the cell wall then irish whips him... RIGHT INTO THE STEEL STEPS HARD!
"Early advantage going to the Bladewolf!" Heyman said.
"Austin and Bladewolf battled one-on-one at WrestleMania for the title." JR said. "tonight could be seen as a rematch to that match, but now they are locked inside the Hell in a Cell. there is nowhere to go for anymore of these man."
"Nowhere to go for Austin, you mean." Heyman said. "Bladewolf wanted to make sure of that by choosing this match."
Bladewolf walks over to Audtin, picks him up and rams his head into the cell wall, sending Austin to a knee. Bladewolf grabs Austin and rams his head off the cell wall again. Bladewolf then presses Austin;s forehead against the cell wall... AND DRAGS AUSTIN'S HEAD AGAINST THE STEEL!
"Oh God!" Heyman exclaimed.
"Bladewolf making that steel dig into Austin's flesh." JR said. "That steel can rip your flesh, hurt your body, and that's what the Bladewolf wants to do to Austin. He wnats to beat the holy hell out of him."
Bladewolf backs up... THEN DRIVES HIS BOOT INTO AUSTIN'S HEAD RIGHT OFF THE CELL WALL! Austin falls down onto his back and Bladewolf stomps away on him before picking him up, Irish whips him into the cell wall hard, sending Austin to his hands and knees and he tries to crawl away but Bladewolf grabs his ankle and drags him back before he starts hammering away on him.
"Bladewolf now hammering away on Austin!" JR said. "Bladewolf has been in control thus far, Austin has issued no offence, and has been tossed around like ragdoll by the Bladewolf thus far."
Bladewolf picks up Austin and rams his head into the cell wall once again, then irish whips Austin... INTO THE STEEL STEPS AGAIN! Bladewolf walks over to Austin, pulls him to his feet and tosses him into the ring before sliding in after him. Austin stumbles to his feet and turns around into a uppercut that knocks Austin down and he rolls out of the ring but remembers he's trapped in the Hell in a Cell.
"Austin, think he though he wasn't inside the cell but just remembered where he was." JR said.
"Exactly. He's stuck inside that cell, there is nowhere for him to go." Heyman said. "He is the prey in the lion's cage and the Bladewolf is the lion."
"Well, wolf in this case." JR reminded.
Bladewolf rolls out the ring and brings a forerm down on Austin's back, then he presses Austin's head into the cage wall, causing Austin to yell in pain as his body writhed in agony and pain.
"Bladewolf pressing Austin's head into that cell wall." JR said. "And Austin, you can hear him yelling in pain."
"Of course he is, wouldn't you?" Heyman asked.
Bladewolf stops and then grabs Austin's head before ramming it off the cell wall again and Austin falls onto his back. Bladewolf stomps on Austin several times before he picks Austin up and tosses him back into the ring and slides in after him. Austin crawls to the ropes and pulls himself to his feet but turns around into a huge right hand from the Bladewolf, dropping the WWF Champion. Bladewolf stomps on Austin then drags him into the corner where he furiously stomps away on the WWF Champion.
"Bladewolf stomping away on the Champion." JR said. "Austin has been unable to defend himself against the Bladewolf's assault. When Bladewolf is not holding back at all in this. he wants to pummel Austin, he wants to leave his body in a mangled heap just like how Austin talked about trish being in a mangled, broken state after playing that hideous hoax."
Bladewolf stops stomping on Austin to pulls him to his feet and Irish whip him across the ring then floor him with a clothesline that nearly took Austin's head off. Austin rolls out of the ring to try and get some breathing room. Bladewolf flips his hair back and adjusts his elbow pads before he rolls out of the ring and goes after Austin, who lands a right hand into Bladewolf's stomach, then starts throwing right hands to the forehead of the Bladewolf.
"Austin's fighting back, he's fighting back now!" JR said.
Bladewolf blocks a right and knees Austin in the stomach, then launches him into the cell wall, causing Austin to stumble back, Bladewolf grabs him from behind and hits a German Suplex on the floor.
"Oh! German Suplex on the floor!" JR exclaimed.
Bladewolf gets to his feet and grabs Austin, tossing him back into the ring and looks underneath the ring, pulls out a steel chair and tosses it into the ring, followed by a table, a kendo stick, a trash can, and a sledgehammer.
"Bladewolf bringing those dangerous weapons into this match now." JR said. "This might not end well for Austin."
Bladewolf slides into the ring and sees Austin in the corner, walks over but Austin starts kicking him in the stomach, trying to get the advantage as he keeps it up before he starts fighting back with right hands to the forehead of the Bladewolf, then rebounds off the ropes and takes Bladewolf down with a forearm to the skull.
"And Bladewolf goes down!" JR said. "Austin may finally have some breathing room to get control of this match."
Austin grabs Bladewolf and gets him in the corner where he stomps away on the Bladewolf before he starts attacking Bladewolf's right ankle, stompinga way on it then smacks it off the turnbuckle, tripping Bladewolf up. Bladewolf focuses on the right knee as he stomps on it, then leans it on the bottom rope befor ehe jumps and brings his foot down on Bladewolf's right knee.
"Oh! Austin attacking the knee of the Bladewolf." JR said.
"That's smart. You take out the legs, you take out the power of the Bladewolf." Heyman said.
Austin brings his elbow down on the knee multiple times before he hooks the leg.
"One!"
"Two-!"
Bladewolf kicks out at two.
"Bladewolf kicks out." JR said.
Austin starts hammering away on the Bladewolf, forcing him to cover up, but Austin then starts targeting the right knee again, causing Bladewolf to yell in pain. Austin looks around before he picks up the steel chair, raises it... BUT BLADEWOLF KICKS THE CHAIR RIGHT INTO AUSTIN'S FACE!
"That had to hurt!" Heyman said.
"Austin looking to do damage with that chair, but Bladewolf kicked it right back into Austin's face." JR said.
Bladewolf gets to his feet, limping a little due to the pain his right knee is in. He picks up the steel chair as Austin stumbles to his feet and turns around... INTOA CHAIR SHOT RIGHT OFF THE SKULL!
"Wham!" Heyman exclaimed.
"What a chair shot to the skull!" JR added.
"the hatred the Bladewolf must feel for Stone Cold has only intensified since the night after WrestleMania." Heyman said. "And it's only boiled over these past couple of weeks for what's happened between these two."
"This started at WrestleMania, it ends tonight." JR said.
Bladewolf raises the chair... AND BRINGS IT DOWN ON AUSTIN'S BACK! Bladewolf raises the chair again and starts bringing it down again and again on Austin's body, striking the arms, the legs, the chest and the skull as best as he can. Austin rolls onto his front but Bladewolf starts attacking Austin's back with the chair repeatedly.
"Bladewolf striking not the head, not the legs, but the shoulders!" JR exclaimed as Bladewolf lands another chair shot to Austin's back.
Bladewolf drives the blunt edge of the chair into Austin's left arm like how Austin did the same thing to Kane several weeks back. Bladewolf then raises the chair and bring sit down once again on Austin's back. Bladewolf then tosses the chair aside and grabs Austin from behind and hits a release German Suplex across the ring, Austin rolling out of the ring to the floor, trying to get a chance to recover from the assault he just went though.
"Austin out the ring, but there is nowhere to go," JR said. "He is contained within a demonic structure that the Bladewolf has made his home. Bladeowlf is a demonic man when someone fights him inside that cell. Look what he did to Mick Foley when they met inside this cell one time."
Bladewolf picks up the kendo stick and rolls out the ring as Austin leans on the steel steps, panting. Bladewolf comes up from behind... AND SMACKS THE KENDO STICK OFF AUSTIN'S BACK!
"Oh!" JR winced. "Did you hear that?"
"I felt it!" Heyman said.
"Just smacking it right off Austin's back." JR said.
Bladewolf watches Austin yell in pain before he swings... AND SMACKS THE KENDO STICK OFF AUSTIN'S BACK AGAIN! Bladewolf starts striking Austin all over with the kendo stick, beating him down and making red welts appear on Austin's body from the impact points that the kendo stick strikes. Bladewolf pulls Austin to his feet and presses the kendo stick against Austin's forehead... AND DRIVES HIS HEAD INTO THE CELL WALL!
"Bladewolf pressing Austin's face into the cell wall with the kendo stick!" JR exclaimed. "You can hear Austin's yells of pain! He's going to maim and punish Austin before he wins the WWF title."
Austin continues to yell in pain befor ehe moves his leg... AND NAILS A LOW BLOW ON BLADEWOLF WITH HIS FOOT!
"Austin with a low blow!" JR said. "Austin has a chance to get back into this."
"And that is why Austin is the WWF Champion and the Texas Rattlesnake!" Heyman said.
Bladewolf and Austin are down as both men are trying to fight to their feet. Austin sees the kendo stick and picks it up, walks over to Bladewolf... AND SMACKS HIM WITH THE KENDO STICK! Austin starts to furiously wail away on Baldewolf with the kendo stick, causing Bladewolf to yell in pain from eachs trike.
"Austin is now giving Bladewolf the same punishment he got!" Heyman laughed.
Bladewolf rolls into the ring but Austin slides in after him and continues to smack Bladewolf with the kendo stick until it snaps it half, so Austin tosses the pieces aside and looks around, picks up the trash can and watches Bladewolf fight to his feet then he waits until Bladewolf turns around... AND SMASHES THE TRASHCAN OVER BLADEWOLF'S SKULL!
"Austin with the trashcan!" JR exclaimed. "this match ha sbeen physical! this is a war, a war between these two men who despise one another yet have great respect for each other, but I think Bladewolf's respect for Austin went out the window after WrestleMania."
Bladewolf leans on the ropes and pushes himself to his feet, stumbles into a kick to the stomach... AND AUSTIN HITS THE STONE COLD STUNNER!
"Stunner!" JR exclaimed.
"Stunner!" Heyman shouted. "Austin retains! That's it! it's over!"
Austin crawls over and hooks the leg! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF KICKS OUT!
"What?!" Heyman shouted with wide eyes.
"it's not over! it's not over!" JR shook his head. "The Bladewolf will not go quietly into the night!"
Austin slaps the mat before he gets to his feet and picks up the steel chair, walks over to Bladewolf, raises the chair... AND BRINGS IT DOWN ON BLADEWOLF! Bladewolf raises the chair and... BRINGS IT DOWN AGAIN! Austin repeatedly attacks Bladewolf with the steel chair, striking the back and chest before he drives the blunt edge of the chair into Austin's stomach, then into his ribs. Austin tosses the chair aside before he starts hammering away on Bladewolf before he backs off and grabs Bladewolf, pulls him to his feet then rams him headifrst into the top turnbuckle and starts hammering away on Bladewolf again. Austin picks up the sledgehammer and Bladewolf stumbles out the corner... INTO A SLEDGEHAMMER SHOT TO THE SKULL!
"Oh God!" JR shoued. "What a shot! It was a sledgehammer to the skull that cost Bladewolf the WWF title!"
Austin drops the sledgehammer and hooks the leg! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF MANAGES TO KICK OUT!
"He kicked out!" JR exclaimed. "Bladewolf is still in this!"
Austin's eyes were wide in shock and he shakes his head as the camera gets close to see... THAT BLADEWOLF HAS BEEN BUSTED WIDE OPEN! HE IS BLEEDING!
"Bladewolf is bleeding like a hawk!" JR said. "The blood is pouring down Bladewolf's face!"
Austin smirks at the sight of the blood before he looks at the table and sets it up in the middle of the ring before he grabs Bladewolf and starts setting him up for the suplex.
"Austin is looking to put Bladewolf through that table!" JR said. "Austin may retain if he does!"
"There's only so much even the Bladewolf can handle." Heyman said.
Austin tries to lift Bladewolf but Bladewolf starts fighting back, punching Austin in the ribs repeatedly before he headbutts Austin, making him stumble against the table. Bladewolf gets Austin on top of the table and starts hammering away at his skull with a fury of right hands before he drags Austin off the table, picks up the sledgehammer as Austin stumbles to his feet and turns around... INTO A SLEDGEHAMMER TO THE SKULL! AUSTIN HAS BEEN BUSTED OPEN! AUSTIN IS BLEEDING AS WELL!
"Now Austin has been busted open!" JR said. "Austin is bleeding!"
Bladewolf tosses the sledgehammer out of the ring and leans on the table before he flips his hair back and pulls the straps of his ring attire to his waist. Bladewolf raises his right hand and grabs Austin by the throat, lifts him straight up... AND CHOKESLAMS HIM THROUGH THE TABLE!
"Chokeslam!" JR exclaimed. "Chokeslam! Right through that table!"
Bladewolf falls back against the ropes before he pushes himself off and does the cutthroat taunt to cheers from the fans.
"the end is near, Paul." JR said. "The end may be near for Austin and the WWF Championship."
Suddenly Vince McMahon comes running down to the cell.
"What the hell is he doing out here?!" JR demanded.
Vince argues with a referee in opening the door before he shoves the referee aside and uses a key to unlock the door and enter, slides into the ring with a steel chair in hand... BUT GETS CLOBBERED BY THE BLADEWOLF!
"Bladewolf! Clobbering the boss!" JR exclaimed.
"He can't do that!" Heyman said.
"He can do whatever the hell he wants, by God!" JR said.
Bladewolf stomps on Vince several times before he pulls Vince to his feet, lifts him up onto his shoulders... AND HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF! Bladewolf glares down at Vince then kicks him out of the ring. Bladewolf then turns around into a kick to the stomach... AND AUSTIN HITS A SECOND STONE COLD STUNNER!
"Stunner!" JR exclaimed. "A Stunner again!"
"it's over!" Heyman shouted. "Austin has won! I'm telling you!"
Austin crawls over and hooks the legs! ONE! TWO! THRE-! BLADEWOLF KICKS OUT AT TWO!
"What?!" Heyman shouted.
"it's not over!" JR shouted. "The Bladewolf kicks out! But by God that was close! Austin almost retained thanks to Vince McMahon!"
Austin's eyes are wide with shock before he gets to his feet, grabs Bladewolf and goes for a third Stunner but Bladewolf shoves him forward nd Austin turns around... INTO A SPEAR!
"A Spear!" JR shouted. "Bladewolf hits the Spear!"
Bladewolf stumbles to his feet and leans on the ropes before he picks up the steel chair as Triple H comes running down to the ring, enters the cell, slides into the ring... BUT GETS SMACKED OVER THE HEAD BY THE STEEL CHAIR BY BLADEWOLF!
"And Triple H is now laid out!" JR shouted.
Bladewolf falls against the ropes, exhausted at this point before he flips his hair back, drops the chir and watches Austin stumble to his feet and lifts him up onto his shoulders... AND HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF ON THE STEEL CHAIR! BLADEWOLF HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
"It's over!" JR exclaimed as Bladewolf's theme plays. "We have a new Champion! Bladewolf is a 5-time WWF Champion!"
"Here is your winner and the NEW World Wrestling Federation Champion... THE BLADEWOLF!" Howard Finkel announced.
"by God, this match was brutal! it has been physical!" JR said. "But the Bladewolf, no matter what was thrown at him, fought through and is now the new WWF Champion!"
Bladewolf gets to his feet and is given the WWF Championship. He raises the title, once again WWF Champion for a 5th time in his career. Bladewolf rolls out the ring and exits the cell, leaving the knocked out bodies of Austin, Vince and Triple H.
"Bladewolf said he was going to put Austin through hell!" JR said. "And he did just that! And now he is the new WWF Champion!"
Bladewolf stumble sup the walkway where Kane and the Undertaker come out to meet him, Kane holding his Intercontinental Championship. Bladewolf raises the WWF Championship and Kane raises the Intercontinental Championship.
"The Brothers of Destruction are victorious tonight." JR said. "Kane and Bladewolf have the gold! They got their revenge on the men who they hate more than anything right now!"
"Oh shut up." Heyman rolled his eyes.
Judgment Day goes off the air with Kane and Bladewolf holding up their Championships...
And that's it for this chapter. Bladewolf is now a 5-time WWF Champion, and of course he was going to win since it was Hell in a Cell. Although he hasn't been in that many, he's just made Hell in a Cell his Hunting grounds, his domain, his home.
