A/N: So, I should put this up here as well since I don't know how many of you read the bottom and top Authors note, but this is the second to final chapter for SAO arc 1, I will continue this into arc 2 just without showing parts of ALO as there will be events containing Naruto and Rika in the real world *le gasp* yes that means school and dates and some other stuff so stay tuned for that.

-1 week after Naruto's meeting-

Naruto was stood in the front of Rika's shop and humming softly as he stopped hearing the door open and turned to see Asuna with Kirito "Huh? So you finally decided to introduce him to Lisbeth?" Naruto asked as Asuna nodded "So Kirito, how ya been?" he asked as Kirito smiled softly.

"Been alright and yourself?" Kirito asked as as Naruto chuckled.

"Welcome to my girlfriend's blacksmith" Naruto said with a smile as Kirito's eyes widned.

"Dude, you got a girlfriend?" Kirito asked as Naruto nodded "Good for you Maelstrom" Kirito said as Naruto sighed.

"Please, just call me Naruto, I told you in the beta to do the same" Naruto said as he opened the door to the back "Oi, Lis we got customers" Naruto shouted as he heard someone running up stairs and soon Lisbeth emerged from the back of the shop.

"Oh hey Asuna, who's broody?" Lisbeth asked as Asuna sighed.

"This Lisbeth, is Naruto's friend from the beta test, Kirito" Asuna said as Kirito smiled "Kirito this is Naruto's girlfriend and my best friend Lis" Asuna said as Lisbeth bowed.

"So Asuna" Lisbeth said as Asuna just hit her head as Naruto chuckled.

They all turned to Naruto who was stood there "What? I just find it funny that broody finally stopped asking Agil for help" Naruto said as Kirito looked surprised.

"How'd you know?" Kirito asked as Naruto chuckled more and Lisbeth decided to answer.

"Naruto owns half of Agil's blacksmith" Lisbeth said as Naruto nodded.

"Also known as the luckiest gamer on the server" Naruto said with a shrug "Actually, I'm curious why you came, according to Agil you really like heavy weapons, Lisbeth's heaviest weapon is probably the one she made for me last week" Naruto said pointing to the Katana like blade at his side and Kirito looked at it and sighed.

"That wasn't in the beta was it?" Kirito asked as Naruto smirked.

"Oh of course it was, on floor 30 in the beta of course Kiyaba changed the floor you get it but I got it" Naruto said as Kirito raised a brow "This my fellow Beta tester is Tensa Zangetsu, a legendary weapon that can only be made once in the servers lifetime" Naruto said holding the handle as the chain made a clattering noise and Kirito's eyes widened.

"This is why Agil's been upset recently?" Kirito asked as Naruto nodded.

"He didn't get the chance to make it" Naruto said as Kirito nodded.

"I came to get a custom weapon" Kirito said as Lisbeth nodded "I need a crystal ingot for it" Kirito said as Naruto raised a brow.

"Right, I'm coming to get it" Lisbeth said as Naruto sighed.

"Stay in contact" Naruto said simply as he rubbed Lisbeth's head "Anyways, Asuna shall we go scout out 62's dungeon?" Naruto asked as Asuna nodded and they were about to leave.

"Like that?" Lisbeth asked as Naruto nodded "You're letting me go like that?" Lisbeth asked again as he sighed.

"I trust you, you're almost on Asuna's because we spent a week or so on floor 62 hunting for materials for Tensa Zangetsu, I trust Kirito as well, after all he's survived this long as a Solo player, so please, be careful with Lisbeth, please Kirito" Naruto said looking at Kirito who could see the desperation in his eyes and nodded.

"I'll protect her" Kirito said as Naruto smiled.

"Make sure to come back though, I don't want Asuna crying" Naruto said as he walked out with an angry Asuna.

"I would not cry!" She argued as Naruto chuckled.

"I thought you said no more lying big sis" Naruto said as they continued walking.

"I'm not lying" she said looking away.

"Ah yes, your first telltale that you lied, looking away" Naruto said as he chuckled "You like the brooder admit it" Naruto said as Asuna pouted.

"Alright, maybe I do" Asuna said as Naruto nodded.

"Now, to floor 62 to check out the dungeon" Naruto said as they made it to the teleporter, the two vanished and reappeared on floor 62

-4 months later October 5th-

Naruto was sat in his house as he looked around and saw a lot of people there and smiled, there is Agil, Kirito, a girl Kirito knows called Silica, Asuna, Kirito, Lisbeth beside him holding hands and finally the rest of the Fuurinkazan guild, Naruto smiled at all his friends and remembered the past 4 months, over the months his and Rika's relationship got more indepth, she ended up moving in and the two got married in game.

The front line fighters had also banded together to take out the Laughing Coffin guild as well as took some members in to find out their reasons for it, even if it pissed Naruto off a little, he didn't have to expose Kiyaba yet as he hadn't done anything, they were all introduced to Silica who was enjoying a 3 way birthday party with Naruto, Asuna and herself, the front line fighters had made it to the 73rd floor and they were making amazing progress but something had started to feel off to Naruto recently. He was cut out of his trip down memory lane when he heard Lisbeth saying his name.

"Naruto, you're up" Lisbeth said as he nodded and stood up to give a speech.

"I uh, I'll be honest I'm not the best with speeches" Naruto said as he smiled "But I'd like to thank you all for coming to my joint party with Asuna and Silica, it makes me glad to see I have so many friends in here and if I can guess from all of your accents we all live close outside of SAO as well, so how about when we win we all meet up and have a celebration party to celebrate our victory over this game" Naruto said as he held up a glass and everyone cheered as he sat down and sighed "Did I do good?" he asked Rika who nodded.

"You did amazing love" she said kissing his cheek as he smiled softly. Naruto took a sip of his drink and chuckled.

"Hmm, didn't ferment properly" he said with a soft chuckle as he saw Agil chuckle.

"You know, if we do meet outside of this I own a café called Dicey Café" Agil said as Naruto's eyes widened.

"You own that?!" Naruto shouted as Agil nodded and he laughed "Ah holy shit, I'll talk to my parents about giving you a discount on the building" Naruto said as Agil's eyes widened, everyone here already knew who he was as the heir of Uzu industires.

"You're company owns the plot, that is true" Agil said as Naruto nodded.

"I could tell them about how you assisted in keeping their son safe" Naruto said "Same goes for Klein and Fuurinkazan" Naruto said as Kirito cleared his throat "I'll have you know Kirito, I was making sure you never did anything insane after that event" Naruto said Kirito's eyes widened and he sighed before smiling at Naruto.

"Thanks" he said as everyone was intrigued but decided against asking more, the party continued until people decided they needed to go, when it was just Lisbeth and Naruto alone Naruto sighed sitting down.

"I feel like an old man in here" Naruto said as Rika giggled at her boyfriend/husband.

"You know, you're only 17, if you feel old then I feel bad for Klein and Agil" she said with a giggled as Naruto chuckled, the two talked for a little longer before they finally went to bed.

-1 month later November 5th-

Naruto was humming while cooking and heard a ding, he opened his messages and looked at them "So, Kirito has invited us to a fishing conpetition on floor 22" Naruto said as he heard someone hum.

"So that's where the love birds went?" he head Rika say as she got to the door of the kitchen "How about we pay them a visit?" she asked as Naruto nodded and sent all the cooking things to the fridge as he changed to his casual clothes as did Lisbeth and the two left the house, locked it up and made their way to the teleportation pad.

"Apparently there is a legend on the lake where the two live and they're trying to fish it up today" Naruto said as Lisbeth nodded.

"You're only being invited because of your luck skill" she said as he nodded.

"Probably" Naruto said as then he said "Floor 22" he said, once they vanished on the pad they reappeared on the floor filled with lakes and started to head to where they saw Kirito and Asuna on the map, upon reaching it Naruto chuckled "So I was only invited because of my luck skill" Naruto said shaking his head as Kirito chuckled nervously.

"Well you see, we need the luck to catch this thing" Kirito said as Naruto sighed.

"Here I thought I was invited for having the highest strength and luck skill" Naruto said shaking his head as he felt Lisbeth smack his head.

"Now, now Naru, don't let your head get too big, you're an amazing cook and the luckiest" Lisbeth said as he sighed.

"And the strongest" Naruto said as he sat on the pier "So, do I need to level up my fishing skill?" Naruto asked and heard an elderly man speak up.

"You haven't leveled it up?" he asked as Naruto scoffed.

"Never fished in the game" Naruto said before he was handed a fishing rod.

"Just fish and level it up as best as you can" the man said as Naruto nodded with a sigh.

"What's your name?" Naruto asked the man who chuckled.

"I'm Nishida" The elderly man said as Naruto nodded.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Maelstrom or as I'd rather be called Naruto" Naruto said as he pulled his rod and on the end was a rainbow scaled fish "Oh cool, rainbow fish" he said as he never said Nishida's shocked face.

"Beginners luck" Nishida said as Naruto cast the line again and waited, when he felt a tug he reeled the line in and hummed.

"Is it now?" Naruto asked holding up the largest fish Nishida has seen "I have a skill called Daikoku" Naruto said "It maxed out my luck stat as soon as I created my character, I'm assuming it has something to do with me knowing Kiyaba personally" Naruto said surprising Nishida.

"How'd you get that close to Kiyaba?" Nishida said as Naruto chuckled and tapped his nose, Nishida turned to Kirito for answers.

"This is the heir to Uzu industires, the whole thing" Kirito said as Nishida looked at Kirito then to Naruto and laughed.

"You're joking! Right?" he asked when he saw neither laughing and shake their heads.

"Dead serious" Naruto said as Nishida sighed.

"Lord Naruto" Nishida said as Naruto turned to him and squinted.

"Wait you did the security for this game with your team didn't you" Naruto asked as Nishida nodded "It sucks" Naruto said seriously "Within like my first year being here I found a terminal and hacked it to give myself administator" Naruto said as he caught another fish "Haven't logged into my admin profile but I just maxed out the admin level" Naruto said as Nishida grumbled and Kirito looked surprised.

"What?" Kirito asked as Naruto nodded.

"Yup, I could spawn in anything, I even tried to see if I could logout everyone, sadly never worked" Naruto grumbled "As you can see from the fact we're all here" he said as Kirito nodded "I never spawned in items because I don't wanna be like Kiyaba" Naruto said before putting the rod down "So when's the fishing event?" Naruto asked and Nishida spoke up.

"It's not until tomorrow" Nishida said as Naruto nodded.

"Cool, where are me and Lis staying?" Naruto asked as Kirito chuckled and looked to Asuna and Lisbeth who were walking towards their cabin.

"I guess our cabin" Kirito said as Naruto shrugged.

"I'll stay on the couch" Naruto said standing up and walking with him.

-Next day-

Naruto was sat in the living room having been banned from cooking breakfast "I was gonna make Ragout soup" Naruto said with a sigh.

"You got one too?" Kirito asked as Naruto laughed.

"One?" Naruto asked and laughed more "More like 5, I could sell it to people but everyone would mess up the cooking" Naruto said as Kirito nodded.

"Asuna is the only one that is able to cook out of me and her" Kirito said as Naruto laughed.

"Of course because you always focused on fighting skills" Naruto said as he hummed.

"Did you use admin to look at our skills and stats?" Kirito asked as Naruto sighed.

"If you must ask, yes, I have a small like leader board that has everyones stats and lists them from best to worst and I have a tab that shows skills and who has them" Naruto said as he hummed.

"So you knew?" Kirito asked as Naruto nodded.

"Knew about duel wield when you got it" Naruto said with a smirk "Congrats hiding it" Naruto said as Kirito sighed.

After breakfast they made their way to the docks from the day before and saw everyone setting up a festival area "This reminds me of some places in spring" Naruto said with a smile before he heard Kirito walk towards the docks and sitting down, Naruto stood next to Asuna "My luck should be affecting them still" he said as he felt Asuna's glare.

"Really?" Asuna asked as he nodded and sighed.

"I wanna kill it" Naruto said "It has an item I wanna look into mixing it with some things" Naruto whined as Asuna sighed.

"You're trying to make some foods?" Asuna asked as he nodded.

"Sushi" he said as Asuna's eyes widened.

"You know how to make it?" Asuna asked as he nodded.

"Duh, I wanna try King of Lakes meat with it" Naruto said "There's also the fact that if I get fang from it I can sharpen my sword with it" Naruto said as Asuna sighed and looked to him.

"Go catch it and if you make it back and can equip your sword fast enough you can kill it" Asuna said knowing Naruto wouldn't back down from a challenge.

He sighed and walked to the docks and stood there "So, you two ready?" he asked as he saw them nod and he smirked.

"10 seconds then cast the line" Nishida said as Naruto chuckled, he was breathing softly and then after 10 seconds they cast the line off, Naruto stood there watching it, he saw the bait bob up and down once, then saw it get dragged under it.

"Kirito switch with Nishida" Naruto said as Kirito nodded and grabbed the rod as he and Nishida switched holding the rod "Nishida, run back to shore me and Kirito have it from here" Naruto said with a smile as Naruto stretched his limbs "Let's go" Naruto said to himself.

Kirito soon pulled the fish above the water and towards the pier, as soon as Naruto saw the King of Lakes appear above the water he picked up Kirito and broke into straight sprint towards land, making sure Kirito still had the rod and once making it there Naruto swiped down putting Kirito down and smirked as his sword appeared at his waist and he slowly unsheathed it and held the handle.

"Ah, I always love watching him fight with Tensa Zangetsu" Lisbeth said as Asuna nodded and Kirito did when he joined them after pulling the fish onto land.

"Shouldn't you all be worried?" Nishida asked as they chuckled "He's the heir to the world's biggest company, if he dies they-"

"Don't worry" Kirito said as Asuna and Lisbeth nodded as well "He's one of the best players in the game" Kirito said arms crossed as Lisbeth smiled at her boyfriend.

They watched as Naruto took a deep breath and then ran straight at the fish, he flipped ovet the fish and held his blade and when it looked up to him it's eyes widened seeing him wind up a large swing before he started to spin in the air and became a saw blade and cut through the fish "Fresh Sushi!" he joked as he looked st the items he got and whooped "I got it! I got the item to increase my swords strength!" Naruto cheered as the body disappeared.

Lisbeth sighed at Naruto as she walked up to him "You did it" Lisbeth said as he nodded.

"Time to head home" he said before froze when he heard a ding and opened his messages, he looked at it and judging from the look on Kirito ans Asuna's face they got the same one and he sighed "Seems like we found floor 75's boss" Naruto said as Lisbeth's eyes widened.

"What?" she asked as he cringed.

"There was a scout party looking for it, only half has returned and reported to Heathcliff" he said as Asuna stood there covering her mouth and Kirito gripped his fists tighter "So we're being called in as is all the big guilds" Naruto said as he kissed Lisbeth's head "I'll be home soon" he said as Lisbeth nodded softly "I promise" he said seriously as Lisbeth smiled softly.

Naruto swiped down his menu and equipped his battle outfit as he smiled "Something makes me think it's the last fight" Naruto said as Lisbeth's eyes widened "So as soon as we get out of here I'll find you, I promise" he said as he kissed her head and held out a teleportation crystal "Teleport Granzam" he said and vanished as soon as he reappeared he walked into the KOB HQ and walked into the meeting room with a pissed off look, as soon as he entered Heathcliff dismissed the rest as he looked to Naruto.

"What's wrong Naruto?" Kiyaba asked as Naruto growled.

"You know exactly what's wrong Kiyaba" Naruto growled "You know what he's going to do don't you" Naruto said as Kiyaba smirked and nodded.

"Of course, it's why I mentioned this boss battle, if he survives and sees me still above half then I plan to end the game, if he wins" Kiyaba said.

"I hope you realize you harm Kirito I will finish you myself" Naruto growled as Kiyaba smirked.

"Of course" Kiyaba said and Naruto tch'd.

"I'll be there tomorrow" Naruto said as Kiyaba nodded.

-The next day-

Naruto and the assault party were stood outside the boss room and they opened the door slowly, as soon as they all entered Naruto looked around before his head snapped up "WATCH OUT!" he shouted and everyone looked out and bolted to the outer rim of the floor and saw 5 people get eliminated as Naruto unsheated his sword and smirked as he ran the tooth of the King of Ponds across the sharp edge of his blade and made the first move "GETSUGA TENSHO" as soon as he shouted that everyone saw an energy like attack hit the Skull Reaper, as soon as that happened all teams got in position and started attack.

The fight continued for and hour with the Skull Reaper killing 3 players each 20 minutes after the initial attack started, after the hour was up they saw the victory sign and Naruto sighed, his eyes instantly going to Heathcliff who was stood up looking at everyone as he growled and saw Kirito start to move and then swing at Heathcliff "It seems you finally found out" Heathcliff said as everyone could see the Immortal object symbol "Of course you aren't the first" Heathcliff said his eyes going to Naruto who slowly stood up.

"System login ID: Maelstrom" he said as he was put to full HP "System command, logout ID Heathcliff" Naruto said as Heathcliff tried to login and Naruto smirked "It's an equal fight between you and Kirito now, Kiyaba" Naruto said as Kiyaba glared at him "Neither have admin powers, the ultimate defence against the ultimate attack, I wonder who will win without the system assisting them, after all you almost lost your duel but needed the system to assist you" Naruto said.

A/N: Next chapter will be the last chapter of SAO arc 1 with the fight between Kirito and Kiyaba and also Naruto and Rika's first meeting out of SAO so look forward to it :D.
