"Mr. Granger, are you a marksman? You shot that monster dead on," Allison wondered.

"Yes. Before Hayden was born, I was in the Queen's military," he answered the young lady. He had to say, his son knew how to pick them. Allison was smart, kind, brave, and many other things that would be endless to list. He can understand why his son loved this young woman.

"That's amazing," she beamed looking towards Hayden. She loved him but she was scared of anything happening to him due to his blood status. She thought it was stupid that blood mattered, but she vowed not to lose her best friend and the love of her life.

"Yes. My father taught me," Hayden answered the silent question. He and Ally-cat had such a deep connection that they could almost read each other's minds.

"No wonder you are so good with your wand," she said laughing, leaning against him causing him to smile down at her. His Ally-cat never had a reason to smile much, sadly.

"Allison, darling. I do not want to know why, but I have to ask. Why are we always seeing you wear rags for clothing?" Mrs. Granger asked causing her to tense. When Hayden felt the tension in his girl, he wanted to curse her sorry excuse of relatives.

"My mother's sister, Petunia hates magic. I guess that extends to me, as I am magical. I have been mentally, emotionally, and physically abused my whole life. They have also made me their slave, and if I didn't get everything done by the end of the day, I received a beating and starved. That is why I am smaller than other's my age. I have tried to get help, but no one seems to care. My headmaster thinks the Blood wards are more important than my welfare," she explained looking out of the car window so they wouldn't see the pain in her eyes. It was hard talking about what had been done to her.

"I cannot believe those people. You are a child, granted a mature child, but a child nonetheless. They should be ashamed of themselves," Mrs. Granger said through clenched teeth. She has never been so angry in her life.

"May I ask, why are you sticking around for people that never do anything right by you?" Mr. Granger asked.

"I cannot leave until I take my OWLs. After that, they cannot stop me from carrying my wand. Also, I have people that I care about here, that I cannot leave knowing that they are in danger of beinging killed," she said and it was the answer he was looking for. He hated that she was in danger, but sadly, she has a soldier's instincts, so to help her, he would help her hone those instincts.

"How would you like to learn hand-to-hand combat? Would you have problems learning how to use a gun?" Mr. Granger asked to the disbelief of his wife and son.

"I would love to," she said smiling as they pulled into the parking lot of one of the biggest shopping malls in the London area.

"Good. Now, I know Dobby can pull amazing feats with his magic, so do you think he can create a time dome using a week in a year. You have six weeks left of the summer holidays, so that would be six years under a time dome," Mr. Granger asked.

"Of course. Can our friends join?" Allison asked as Hayden helped her out of the car.

"Yes. You have to have a fighting chance in the coming war," Mr. Granger answered smiling.

"Hayden, do they know Padfoot is innocent?" she asked as his parents looked at each other confused. They have never heard of a name quite like that.

"Yes," he said causing her to beam a breathtaking smile.

"Can Sirius and Remus come into the time dome with us, so they can teach us our magical studies, and dueling?" Allison asked.

"Of course, honey," Mrs. Granger said as her husband nodded in agreement.

"Why are we stopping at Barnes & Noble?" Hayden asked.

"You will need something to do in that drafty old castle. We will get you more activities other than books, but you will need something to do," Mrs. Granger said laughing as their eyes widened before they took off.

They purchased every collection and Series of Anne Rice, Charles Dickens, Jane Austin, William Shakespeare, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Song of Fire and Ice, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Hunger Games, Redwall, Little House on the Prairie, The Lunar Chronicles, The Wheel of Time, The Raven Cycle, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Inheritance Cycle, Magic Tree House, The Heroes of Olympus, The Twilight Saga, The Seven Realms, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Goosebumps, and The Sword of Truth. Then, she bought fairytale books, Alice and Wonderland, Cinderella, Snow White, and the Seven Dwarfs, Little Red Riding Hood, and Peter Pan.

They also purchased books on Science, Design, Technology, English, Cultural Language, Debate, World History, Financial Management, Muggle Law, Art and Design, Mathematics, which include pre-algebra, basic algebra, and advanced algebra. Allison also got books on landscaping and gardening. Hayden and Allison wanted the opportunity to get their muggle education up to standards. They were years behind.

Their next stop was a clothing boutique for young ladies. They purchased jackets, jumpers, sweaters, tops, t-shirts, blouses, dress pants, shorts, skirts, dresses, and jeans in different colors. They then purchased some workout clothes. Allison also got sneakers, Mary-Janes, boots, heels, and sandals.

All of her clothing was made of velvet, satin, silk, lace, brocade, embroidery, some casual cotton, and wool, the wool was similar to cashmere in emerald green, mint green, black, purple, lilac, gold, silver, pale periwinkle blue, sapphire blue, ivory, white, cream and finally a scarlet red. A few of them had extra detail. The white, ivory, gold, silver, lace, brocade, and embroidery were kept to a minimum, such as collars, sleeves inner lining, or arranged on certain sections of the evening dresses.

Allison knew she had to get a wizarding wardrobe also, but that could wait for tomorrow unless they entered the time dome today, then she would have no choice but to go shopping again. Besides, she needed more books for her magical studies.

"Ally-Cat, are you finished for the day?" Hayden asked as his mother watched how the young lady responded to her son, and she was happy when she saw what she was looking for. There was a sparkle in Allison's eyes whenever she so much as caught a glimpse of Hayden. She could see how much Allison loved her son.

"Yes," she said just as the hairdresser cut the last of her dead ends and layered her hair. Allison knew she would never cut her hair.

"Okay," Mrs. Granger said smiling as paid the bill before pulling Allison to the side away from the guys.

"Allison, do you love my son? I don't mean as a friend. Do you love him like you can see yourself growing old with him?" Mrs. Granger asked.

"Yes. And I know he loves me, but with Voldemort back, I do not want to put him in more danger than he already is," she said biting her lip.

"Allison, dear. Life is short. As much as it pains me to think about it, Hayden could be hit by a bus tomorrow. Take my advice, spend as much time with him as you possibly can. Who knows, you may get a hundred years with him from what I'm told about wizarding lifespan," Mrs. Granger said as she got a beautiful smile from the young lady.

"I'll talk to him," Allison promised before they walked back to the guys smiling when Hayden took her hand in his and led her out of the mall to the car.

Allison knew that she was done fighting her feelings for Hayden. He makes her feel loved, safe, and like she was the most important person in the world. Merlin knows she loved him more than anything.
