A/N: Well, Touya's exam is probably this chapter or the next, and I promised 1 or 2 more aliens, so here they are! Oh, and one of his forms will be one of Ben's ice aliens. Just a heads up.

It was now only a month before the entrance exam, and Touya was feeling fairly proficient with handling Quad Fist and Gyros, but then Onima had sprung the idea of having one more alien, just to up his versatility a bit more before the entrance exam. Touya had disagreed, figuring his two selected aliens, plus his own fire, would probably be enough, but eventually he caved. This time, Touya scrolled through until he found a leaner alien, with what appeared to be carapace-like sections along its limbs and torso. He pressed the faceplate down once more, and the familiar blue light surrounded him.

When it died down, he noticed he'd gained several ports on his arms and legs, a hood made from the same material as the carapace, as well as a number of odd protrusions near his wrists and ankles. He also now had four small slits for eyes, and was red, just like Quad Fist.

He lifted up a hand and a jet of water launched out, and he groaned. "It's my goddamn antithesis."

Onima laughed. "Hey, know your enemy, right?"

"Didn't wanna do it literally," said Touya. "But as for what to call this thing… Maybe Washout?"

"Well then, Washout," said Onima, "My Quirk's not so good at handling projectiles, but water's still got a physical presence. See if you can push me around."

Touya grinned. "Gladly."

Omnitrix DNA Sample Log, Entry #3

Species: Orishan, User ID: Washout

Orishan have the ability to absorb moisture through ports on their arms and legs, and then excrete that moisture as powerful blasts of water. Typically this water is kept relatively warm, though the temperature can be altered. Touya's water blasts are naturally hotter on account of his Quirk, and with intense concentration he can theoretically create steam.

The resulting blast of water Touya shot from his right hand barreled into the sidekick, sending him backward a foot or so before he steadied himself.

"Damn, this guy's got some kick!" he laughed. "Also, ow, did you turn up the heat or something?"

"I might've?" Touya said innocently.

"Figures," sighed the sidekick. "Well, you've clearly got a handle on force application, so what about a spread move?"

"What, like this?" Touya suddenly raised both his hands and sprayed a wave of water that grew to nearly 20 feet wide, causing the Oni-themed hero to have to try and find his way over it. Easier said than done considering it was also almost 4 feet tall, so the end result was him falling flat on his face. Touya had to suppress a chuckle, but he still ended up snorting.

Onima groaned. "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up, kid. Knock me down 5 times with this guy and we'll call it a day. Deal?"

"You're on," Touya grinned. Who knew water would be so damn easy to manipulate?

Eventually, Touya was confident enough with Washout that he decided he might as well do some regular physical training with Onima, and soon enough, the day of the UA entrance exam arrived, with Touya of course being one of the many recommended candidates courtesy of Endeavor. After tearing through the written exam, answers already well-formed in his mind, it was then time for the practical: A 3 kilometer long obstacle course, with students in batches of 6. Touya was given number 31, and took out the Omnitrix. Once Present Mic gave the signal, he slammed down on the faceplate, and got… something different.

Crap, he thought, as he looked at himself. Let's see, blue skin, compound vision, so bug eyes, and… a cloak. He sighed. Dad's not gonna be happy… as he did so, however, he realized the cloak seemed to be unfolding, revealing a pair of… "Wings!? Alright, let's DO this!" Running forward and taking to the air, Touya shot forward, catching up to his competitors, only to be stopped by a massive wall in his path. Unfortunately, he was going far too fast to properly change direction, so he braced for impact, but… nothing happened. He glanced back at the wall, realizing it was… frozen?

"Great, two aliens I'm literally the opposite of," he grumbled. "Still, did I… phase through that?" Before he could think on it further, a horde of robots blocked his path. Realizing what he had to do, he faced them, and prepared to let out an ice blast, (and wasn't that confusing) only for nothing to shoot forth from his hands. Suddenly a lump formed in his throat, and he coughed. Then the ice came out, forming a massive wall that locked the bots in place for just enough time to get through. "Guess that works."

After casually phasing through several walls of a massive maze, he flew out the other side, and casually landed at the finish line, his fellow examinees far behind.

"Alright, what the hell do I call you?" he asked no one in particular. "Ghost Chill? Ectofreeze? Wait, actually Ectofreeze sounds nice."

Omnitrix DNA Sample Log, Entry #4

Species: Necrofriggian, User ID: Ectofreeze

As a Necrofriggian, Touya possesses cryokinesis, flight, and phasing powers, though owing to Touya's natural pyrokinesis, his ice is substantially weaker in structure, being at a much higher temperature than is typical for a Necrofriggian. It is one of Touya's aliens completely unable to use fire at all, the other being Washout; Washout can use the heat to make steam, but Ectofreeze is strictly incapable of utilizing any abilities that increase temperature.

Touya reverted after that, and it was only then he realized he was actually kind of cold. "Huh, didn't expect that. I wonder if I can leave yet…"

He could not, unfortunately, having to sit through a rather… interesting interview with Nezu. Entering the principal's office, he sat down, only to see that Nezu was in fact not a human.

"What are you?" he blurted out. "Wait, shouldn't have said that…"

"No, no, it's a perfectly reasonable question," Nezu said. "In any case, Todoroki-kun, I'd say you are quite remarkable. Your father had mentioned your odd device, of course, but I was given to understand your forms were less… frigid."

"He's a new one, actually," Touya said. "Probably one I won't use often since, y'know, ice. Honestly I was hoping for my second one, or even my third, since those two also had mobility powers."

"Do you know how many forms you have?" asked Nezu.

"Ten," Touya replied. "I haven't used them all yet."

"I suggest you start doing that," Nezu commented. "I assume you know fire doesn't solve every problem, despite what your father may believe."

"Yeah, I'll work on it," said Touya. "Anyway, I think I'll stick to my fire unless I really need to, since this thing does have a time limit, but it's always an option."

Nezu nodded. "Indeed, though there is something that's been bothering me for a while. Your Quirk records make mention of sub-zero temperature resistance, and yet footage shows you shivering, something that should not be possible."

"Oh, yeah, that," Touya said. "It has to do with how this watch works. Alters DNA, apparently."

"I see…" said Nezu. "So presumably the first time you put it on it altered your own DNA to match your Quirk to its respective resistance."

"Yeah, pretty much," Touya replied. "I don't know how it works, but I'll take it."

"In any case," Nezu said, "I think I've heard enough for now. I have not seen your written test scores yet, but from your practical performance even with a suboptimal transformation, as well as this interview, I'm sure you'll make it in. I look forward to seeing you then."

Touya nodded. "Thank you." With that, he left the room.

True to his word, a week later Touya received confirmation that he would indeed by headed to UA, having been placed in 1-A. Oddly enough, Endeavor actually smiled at this revelation, which was not something he had done in a very long time. Touya relished in the acceptance, and made absolutely sure he was perfectly ready for his first day at UA.

Soon enough, the day came, and Touya walked into the building with a very clear smile on his face. Walking up to 1-A's door, he was taken aback by just how tall it was. Wonder if I've got any giant aliens, he thought to himself as he glanced at the Omnitrix. Stepping inside, he realized the class was already all here except for him. As he sat down, one girl came up to him. "Hey, weren't you that bug guy from the entrance exam?"

"Uh, yeah," Touya said. "Why?"

"I'm Shimizu Suiryu, the other recommended student," she introduced herself.

"Alright, well I'm Touya Todoroki," he said. "Trust me when I say that guy isn't coming out too often."

"Ooh, yeah, ice powers, right?" said Suiryu.

"Yeah, I'm not the resident power mixer in the family," Touya laughed.

"Hey, wait, you said 'that guy.' How many guys do you have?" asked Suiryu.

"Ten, but I've only actually used four, and that bug guy, Ectofreeze, only showed up for the first time that day," Touya explained.

"Ten!?" Suiryu shouted. "Woah, that's nuts!"

"They only last 10 minutes each though, and I think they all do different things," Touya said. "Honestly I'm kinda just waiting on a fire one."

Before he could say anything else, there was a rustling. From the corner of the room crawled out a haggard middle-aged man from a sleeping bag. "What the hell, why's there a hobo!?" shouted someone.

"I'm your homeroom teacher," said the man. "Aizawa-sensei to you all. Now everybody into their gym uniforms. We're doing a test."

Not wanting to potentially be murdered by the man they still weren't sure wasn't a hobo, class 1-A wisely shuffled out of the room.

The test itself turned out to be a Quirks-allowed, 8 part fitness test, which on its own wasn't the toughest thing in the world. What made it a lot tougher was the fact Aizawa was threatening expulsion to whoever ended up coming last. Touya gulped as he watched a guy with a repulsion Quirk launch a ball 750.3 meters. With only 4 aliens he knew how to use, and only 3 he was confident in, he decided he may as well cut his losses and get to it.

First up was a 50 meter dash, where Touya swapped to Gyros and barreled through it in 4.26 seconds, a firmly top tier spot.

Next, a grip strength test, and while Gyros wasn't the best for it, he managed a respectable 250 kilograms of force.

He reverted to human for the long jump, creating a slight updraft with his flames to land a good 3 meters past the 10 meter sandbox.

Given the timeout, he stayed human for the side steps, managing 50 in just about 40 seconds thanks to his footwork training with Onima.

For the distance run, the timeout finished and he swapped to Gyros once more and cleared it in a minute and 15 seconds thanks to the sheer buildup of momentum.

Next came a seated toe touch, which he reverted back to human form for and only just about reached his own toes owing to his long legs.

Sit-ups were fairly easy for Touya though, thanks to the sheer amount of core training he did to take punches and kicks, allowing him to easily clear it in a minute and 20 seconds.

At last, there was the ball throw. He still had around a minute to go with his timeout, but thankfully his last name placed him near the end of the list, allowing him to switch to Quad Fist, light up his fists for an updraft, and hurl the ball around 100 kilometers after a solid wind-up.

Everyone's jaws dropped as they stared at the score, while Touya reverted once more, leading to question after question before Aizawa intervened. Touya glanced at the scoreboard that had popped up, his own name comfortably at the top, and he saw some kid named Hiku Tsukamu, who apparently had an attraction Quirk, sitting at the very bottom. To everyone's shock, however, Aizawa didn't expel Tsukamu, on account of the fact that the guy had been very legitimately trying, something Aizawa had noticed, which could not be said for a few of the middle-of-the-road scorers, who clearly had powerful Quirks, yet they were holding back for reasons Aizawa didn't know why. With a solid 4 students gone, something Aizawa himself admitted was a record for him, the rest of the class were told in no uncertain terms that slacking would not be tolerated in his class. Everyone shut up at that, even as Aizawa himself pulled Touya aside for a discussion.

"Alright, Todoroki, your dad told me about that watch of yours," he said. "I noticed that you decided to not use it in certain situations when you knew your human form would be good."

"That's correct, Aizawa-sensei," Touya said, a little confused.

"Keep doing that. You say you have 10 forms with that thing?" Aizawa asked. "You don't. You have 11."

Touya blinked. "Wait… Oh, I get it. Yeah, I've been training my regular body too."

"See that you do that at all times," said Aizawa. "That thing's got a time limit, and you know it. If you're not up to standard at base…" The threat went unfinished, but Touya knew what he meant.

"Understood, Aizawa-sensei," said Touya. "Any assignments yet?"

"Would've told the whole class, but since you're so eager, here's some extra credit," Aizawa said. "You haven't shown off all 10 forms you've got just yet. Not to me, not to whoever else taught you, not anyone. I want a report on all 10 before the Sports Festival."

"Yes, Aizawa-sensei," Touya nodded. "I'll do it."

"You're dismissed now," said Aizawa. "I've got other work to handle."

Touya nodded once more, then began his own commute home.

A/N: Well, Touya's gotten his two antitheses! And yeah, his one request, a fire alien, is not happening that soon, unfortunately, in fact it's likely going to be his last or second to last. Oh, and speaking of the actual alien line-up, here's my thoughts:

Four Arms (Quad Fist)

Cannonbolt (Gyros)

Water Hazard (Washout)

Big Chill (Ectofreeze)

Echo Echo (Soundbyte)

Diamondhead (Crystalline)

Humungousaur (Seismosaur)

Upgrade (Mechamorph)

Heatblast (Hell Pyre)

Gravattack (Gravitor)

As for why this line-up:

Water Hazard and Big Chill are Touya's opposites, being water and ice to his fire, and the only two aliens he can't use his fire with at all.

Cannonbolt is Touya's best defensive alien, since Diamondhead, while tough, has a crippling weakness that Touya's going to find out (it's the weakness all crystals have)

Echo Echo has a unique powerset and a very interesting relationship with fire: the soundwaves he generates can easily carry superheated air with them, but simultaneously put out any fires already present, making him a double-edged sword.

Humungousaur and Four Arms are going to be another dichotomy: In this case, Four Arms is the better single-target opponent but Humungousaur is way better for groups. Reasons for this will generally come from their optimal attack method: Fists are easy to control. A massive spiked tail, especially on a person who normally doesn't have one? Not so much.

Upgrade is here because I didn't like Touya having electricity (classic fire/lightning dichotomy stuff) but I wanted something for tech, plus Upgrade himself is cool. He's also going to have the same blue highlights as the Omnitrix does thanks to its attachment to Touya for a thematic connection.

Heatblast is a raw fire-based alien. He's the exact alien Touya would absolutely want all the time, akin to Feedback for 11 year old Ben, and like Feedback, he'll have to learn the hard way that sometimes what you want is absolutely not what you need.

As for Gravattack, he's about the most powerful alien I could think of that wouldn't (usually) be that overpowered (compared to, say, Way Big, Atomix, and of course Alien X) while having an interesting ability and the potential for some major problems. I was considering a different alien like NRG, but NRG of course is a radiation-based alien. There are absolutely zero characters in MHA with nuclear powers, for what are presumably obvious reasons, and I didn't want to stir that particular pot.

Of course that's not to say Touya can't have more than 10 aliens; if you'll note by his code being T20, I'm aiming for 20 total, so expect some favorites like XLR8 or Chromastone or whatnot to show up. Him unlocking more than 10 will, of course, be a very big thing, just like it was when Cannonbolt first showed up back in season 2, so it'll absolutely coincide with a big event in this timeline.
