Eren was sleeping so soundly as he suddenly woke up when Mikasa pinch his face. "Hey! That's hurt!"

"We need to head back," She says as she carried the logs she gathered while Eren is sleeping around.

"What was that?" He thought grabbing his head as he dream about something impossible. "There's no way the wall will collapse" He laughs as suddenly his body trembles.

"Eren, Are you okay?" Mikasa asked as she leaned on him checking his temperature. "You're hot, we need to go and ask dad" she reminded as she pull Eren up but he is too heavy.

"Eren!" She shouted worriedly looking at Eren who was breathing heavily. "What should I do?" she thought.

"YMIR! YMIR! YMIR! ANSWER ME! ARE YOU SOMEWHERE OUT IN THERE?" He shouted in his thoughts. He almost forgot that Ymir sent him back in time and was still puzzled about what had just happened so he slept all day and when he woke up, it was all real.

"Ymir are you in there?" He asked again worriedly and fear that she is gone. No one answered.

He takes a deep breath to finally calm down looking at Mikasa's worried face. "Mikasa..."

"Eren! are you okay? is something wrong?" as she checks his body making Eren push her away. "I'm fine! I promise!" he reassures her.

Mikasa sighs and checks Eren once again and finds out that his temperature is already back to normal. "Let's head back!" Eren says as he grabs the firewood and puts it on his back as Mikasa did the same.

On their way home, Eren is thinking about what just happened. From what he knows, Ymir sent him back, he also felt that she merge with h\im, but no one answered when he called her. All he could understand is he couldn't use the power of the Founding Titan and Attack Titan right now.

"Mikasa, what year is today?" he asked

"Why do you ask?"

"Just say it!"

"he is too eager, I wonder if he hit his head or something," Mikasa thought.

"Year 845" She answered as Eren is busy with his thoughts once again.

"Today is the Fall of Shiganshina and I don't have any way to save the whole city!" he thought. Without the power of the Titans, he couldn't do anything, but he also feels some surging power inside of him and he is wondering how could utilize it.

Eren turned around as he observed the wall. "Eren?" Mikasa stopped. "For some reason, I could feel the titans of the walls, their numbers, and I could also feel every last human in the Shiganshina. Is it because I have Ymir with me and all of us here are her subject and now that I have her powers, I can easily sense them." he thoughts looking around.

"My senses are soo wide. I wonder if I could go beyond the walls" Eren focus more on his eyes as he was surprised that he could see the outside without crossing the wall. "There are too many of them!" He shouted.

"What are you saying?"

"Nothing" He responds as continue walking and suddenly his six sense kick-off. He turned around as he sense them. "Three people...They are here" he thought as he grab Mikasa and run. He can't waste his time in here, he needs to find a way to at least save his mom.

Saving Grisha is impossible since he will need him to get the power of the Founding Titan. "Eren why are we running!" Mikasa asked as Eren just smiled and replied "I'm Hungry," as Mikasa look at him dumbly.

"Eren Mikasa!" Hannes called as the two stopped. "You guys are late, Where did the two of you go?" He asked.

Mikasa replies "We gather woods for our dinner," while Eren is covering his nose. "Eren, why are you crying? Did you get scolded by Mikasa?" he asked as he approached his face to him.

"Shut up! You reek of booze! it's hard to breathe!" He shouted pushing him away. "Let's go, Mikasa!" she followed back.

Before the two ran off, Eren shouted " Hannes-san, Please be careful, Who knows when the wall will fall so you better stop drinking if you don't want to get yourself caught off guard"

"Huh? The wall...but it's been there for 100 years and none of no titans even crossed it. That brat saying nonsense again" Hannes yelled as he continued drinking.

"you better stop drinking if you don't want to get yourself caught off guard"

"Tch! What is that brat thinking? Didn't he know who am it? I am one of the Station Army Corps," He thought as he believe that Titans can't crawl up this 50-meter wall.

The bell rings is the sign that the Survey Corps are back. "Mikasa! Let's Go! The heroes are back!" He shouted.

As they got in there, Mikasa noticed that all of them have sad looks on their faces, fear combined with sadness and guilt. "Moses! Moses!" A woman who look like an old woman shouted as she approached the commanding officer of the survey corps.

"Excuse me, I don't see my son. Where can I find him?"

"It's Moses mother, Bring it over," The commander says as the soldier hand Moses's arm to her. "That's all we could recover," he says as the woman held the arm tightly and cried.

"But...my son...carried out his duty, right? He contributed to mankind's retaliation somehow, didn't he!" The woman shouted between tears surprising the commanding officer. The faces of the soldiers around are full of guilt and sorrow showing their injured bodies and faces.

Everything stayed silent until the commanding officer kneel as he gathered his remaining strength left and shouted. "No, through all of our mission, We have failed to achieve anything! Because of my Incompetence, I have sent my soldiers to their death, and failed to learn the slightest thing about the titans outside!"

and with that, the Survey corps continue their tracks while the citizen is mocking them about where did their taxes go. Mikasa and Eren returned home but on the way there, Mikasa asked him. "Do you still want to Join the Survey corps?" and he nodded.

Mikasa and Eren together with Grisha are eating their meal while Carla is doing the dishes. "Where are you going, dad?"

"Yeah, Medical examination within the inner wall," Grisha responds while Eren finishes his plate.

Before Grisha could leave the table, Mikasa spoke. "Eren wanted to join the Survey Corps," surprising both Carla and Grisha while Eren stayed calm.

"Eren, DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLES DIED OUTSIDE THE WALL?!" Carla shouted worried for his son. "I DO!" He responded. "The...

"Eren, Why do you wish to venture outside?" Grisha asked looking at him seriously. Eren gulped while Carla stared hoping that Grisha will knock some sense to Eren. "I want to know...what's becomes of the outside world. I don't want to simply live out my life within the walls like this! Besides, if nobody followed in their steps...THE SACRIFICE OF THOSE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES WOULD BE IN VAIN!"

Grisha stands up from his seat. "I'm going to work"

"Wait, Dear! Say something to Eren!" Carla said which he replied " Carla, Human curiosity can't be stopped just by a talk," as Grisha glances at Eren as he opens the door. "Eren, once I return. I'll show you the basement that I hide from you," As he showed him the key which Eren smiled.

"I'm still against this. Only Fools will join the Survey Corps," Carla said as Eren replied "What? Fools? To me, People that are content living like cattle seem way more stupid!" He shouted as he run away.

"EREN!"

"Mikasa, That child always get into trouble so please be there with him"

With Armin

"This book is good! I wanna go outside the wall!" Eren shouted while Armin is telling them that there are a bunch of things that can be found outside of the wall such as the huge ocean, snow, desert, and massive lands.

"What did your parents say about you joining the Corps?" Armin asked and he replies "My mom is angry"

"Thought so"

"Why does simply wanting to go outside turn everyone against us?" Eren angrily said while Mikasa is resting her head on her knees.

"It's because it's peaceful within the walls for past 100 years and they fear that going outside will invite much further danger. It is the law the Government made for us to follow." Armin said.

"We are risking our life, it's our choice!"

"I won't let you!" Mikasa said but before she could say more. A thunderstruck the wall and everyone inside the Shiganshina loses their balance. "What was that?" Armin asks as Eren pulled him up with Mikasa.

"What is it Eren?" but Eren didn't respond and instead he run away in the direction of his house. "is he scared, " Armin asks and Mikasa nodded. The two didn't follow, they head to the road and look at the wall.

With Eren

Eren is sprinting dodging every people around. He could sense and see everything around him. he also found out that he can strengthen any part of his body for a temporary amount of time.

"MOM just wait! I'm coming to save you!" He thought.

With Armin and Mikasa

"It's impossible...The wall is 50-meters high!" Armin says as every one of the people present is bewildered at what they are seeing. A big Titan was bigger than the walls standing behind it. "Armin, let's go!" Mikasa shouted as she dragged him with her the moment the wall has been kicking and the debris fell at them.

The shockwave is enough to destroy the surrounding buildings and make the debris fly in any direction landing at random people. "RUN! THE WALL...THE TITANS ARE COMING!!" as everyone pled.

With Eren

"Good thing I arrived in time or else she would die," Eren thought running together with Carl. "Where is Mikasa, Eren?" she worriedly asked.

"Don't worry, she is with Armin, and I'm sure they are already esca-

"MIKASA, ARMIN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Carla shouted as she saw the two running to them. "These two! I thought they had already escaped" Eren thought.

The four notice several titans around as they panicked except Eren who remain calm and dragged the three of them. "Carla, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin follow me!" Hannes said as he just appeared out of nowhere and Carry both Mikasa and Armin on his back.

"Hannes, What's happening?" Carla asked

"The wall has collapsed and Titans are pouring inside!" He replied as the four finally reach the pier and ride there leaving Hannes behind. "Hannes!" Carla shouted. "I'm sorry, but I still have my duty," He says leaving them as the boat finally moves.

That day, Mankind remembered...The fear of oppression under them and the humiliation of being caged like birds.
