Peter dreams...dreams of all his past battles. His final fight with the Green Goblin resulting in the latter's death. His fight with Doctor Octopus at the bank. Him stopping a train, Doc Ock unmasking him. Doc Ock sacrificing himself. His fight with venom. Venom killing Harry. Eddie dying along with venom in a pumpkin bomb explosion. He dreams of Harry's death, like it's on replay.

Peter opened his eyes and sat up from his bed.

"*sigh*Another day another adventure"Peter said as he got up and headed towards the bathroom where he brushed his teeth and took a shower. After taking his shower he quickly put on his clothes and exited his apartment room.

"Rent"Mr. Ditkovich said

"I'll have it by the time I get back home I promise"Peter said as he went down the stairs.

Peter had his camera and was ready to book it to the Daily Bugle before he got a call on his phone.

Peter picked up his phone.

"Hello?"Peter answered

"Hey Pete"Betty said on the other line.

"Oh, hey Betty. What's up?"Peter asked

"Well Mr. Jameson wants to talk to you"Betty said on the other side as she handed J. Jonah Jameson the phone.

"Parker!"J. Jonah Jameson said

"Yes, Mr. Jameson?"Peter asked

"I received some information that there's this lunatic at the George Washington Bridge creating lighting bolts and dragons and stuff, get me some pictures pronto! ASAP! At once! Immediately! Instantly!"J. Jonah Jameson said before hanging up.

Peter put his phone in his pocket before walking into an alleyway.

A few moments later Spider-Man jumps out of the alleyway and starts web swinging.

Spider-Man runs on the side of a building before jumping off and web swinging again.

Cut to the George Washington Bridge

A dragon flew around the George Washington Bridge, Spider-Man swung until he perched himself onto the bridge.

Spider-Man takes out his camera and takes some pictures of the dragon and then he looks below and sees a person in a green suit, a cape and a fish bowl helmet. Spider-Man takes a few pictures of the person.

"Ok, it's time to be a hero"Spider-Man said before he webbed his camera to the side of the bridge before jumping down and landing in front of the person. "Hey there Bubble Bowl, nice magic act, now why don't you get rid of the over sized serpent and I can take you down to NYPD"

"Magic Act? You dare call the great Mysterio a Magic Act! You fool! Mysterio is no mere illusionist playing parlor tricks. Mysterio is a master of the Arcane Arts"The person now known to be Mysterio said as he started floating into the air.

"Well it seems to me that Mysterio's the master of talking about himself in the third person"Spider-Man said

"You dare look down on Mysterio. Your destruction will be quick and painful"Mysterio said as before he made Spider-Man fall to his knees. A green cloud of smoke appeared and a lightning bolt rocketed out of it and hit Spider-Man, sending him crashing into a truck.

A larger green cloud of smoke appeared and the cars and trucks started levitating in the air as everyone ran away.

Mysterio threw the cars and trucks at Spider-Man who dodged most of them before getting hit by one of the cars, both him and the car falling off of the bridge. Spider-Man used his webs to launch himself back onto the bridge.

Mysterio continued to throw the cars and trucks towards Spider-Man, resulting in several explosions.

Spider-Man swings to avoid as many of the cars and trucks that he can. Spider-Man then lands in front of Mysterio and throws a punch at him but Mysterio disappears in a green cloud of smoke. Before he could do anything stalactites comes out of the ground and trap Spider-Man. A truck then hits Spider-Man and busts through the stalactites and Spider-Man is sent flying into another car.

Spider-Man uses his webs to dodge a lightning bolt that was fired at him.

Mysterio appears in front of Spider-Man in a green cloud of smoke and a sword appears in his hand.

Spider-Man dodges the sword that was swung at him. Spider-Man jumps into the air to dodge a lightning bolt that was fired at him but he looks back and sees a man and the bolt is heading straight for him.

"No!"Spider-Man said but to his surprise the lightning bolt went right through the man. "What the?"

Spider-Man looked back just in time as Mysterio swings his sword at him and it goes straight through him, like it doesn't do any damage at all...like it's a hologram.

"None of it is real...then in that case"Spider-Man said before looking at Mysterio who takes a few steps back.

Cut to the NYPD Office

"Good Morning New York Police Department. Didn't anyone order a bubble brained illusionist?"Spider-Man quipped as he brought in Mysterio who was tied in webs.

"Spider-Man. You actually got him"One of the officers said

"Yeah, this one was a little tricky but I made it work. Make sure you keep a good eye on him. I'll see you guys around"Spider-Man said before running out of the NYPD and jumped into the air and started swinging off.

Cut to the Daily Bugle

Peter walks into the Bugle with a folder of pictures.

"Hey Betty. Is Mr. Jameson in there?"Peter asked

"Yeah, he's been waiting for you"Betty said

"Well that's something to look forward to"Peter said

"Don't worry about it Pete, I heard it was very dangerous at the bridge so I'm sure he won't blame you for anything"Betty said

"Alright, thanks Betty"Peter said

"No problem"Betty said and Peter walked into J. Jonah Jameson's office.

"Morning, Mr. Jameson. I got the photos you wanted"Peter said before he handed J. Jonah Jameson the folder.

"Let's see here. Crap, crap, crap, Super crap. I'll give you 300"J. Jonah Jameson said

"Mr. Jameson is there anyway you can give me at least a little bit more I really need to pay rent this month"Peter said

"Fine I'll throw in an extra hundred for pity. You know the drill Parker, take this to Ms. Brant"J. Jonah Jameson said as he handed Peter a check for 400.

Peter walked out of the office and gave the check to Betty.

"Wasn't so bad?"Betty said

"Actually it was a lot more better than I thought it would be, he seems more generous today"Peter said

"Well I guess even Mr. Jameson has those type of days"Betty said

Cut to Peter's Apartment

Peter walked up the stairs and was immediately greeted with the sight of Mr. Ditkovich.

"You got the rent?"Mr. Ditkovich questioned.

"Yeah, right here Mr. Ditkovich"Peter said as he brung out the 400 he was paid and gave it to Mr. Ditkovich.

"Good, next rent is due in two weeks times. If it's late by even a single minute or you do not pay me at all *click click* you're out of here"Mr. Ditkovich said.

"Ok I understand"Peter said

"Good"Mr. Ditkovich said before walking into him and his daughter's apartment. Speaking of said daughter Ursula pops her head out from the door.

"Hi"Ursula said

"Hi"Peter said

"Bye"Ursula said

"Bye"Peter said

Ursula then closed the door and Peter entered his apartment.
