In the city, Zhong's car swerves as it made a left as the Guider and police cars kept chasing after them.
In the car, Yingteer looks at the rearview mirror and growled. "They never give up." He said.
Zhong looks at the sidewalk to see some civilians. "Run them over!" He replied. "This will distract them." Yingteer immediately turned the wheel to the right.
Outside, Zhong's car turned onto the sidewalk, causing everyone on it to quickly move to the side as it passed by them as two police cars did so as well, one unfortunately crashes into the side of an alleyway as Zhong's turned back onto the road while some of the civilians help the officers out of the wrecked car. "The car was just three days away from retirement." One of the officers said.
In the Guider, Geoff growled as he turned the wheel. "They're starting to get reckless!" He yelled.
"Blind Ninja, this is Cornelius V. Proctor here." Cornelius' voice was heard on their communicators. "The roadblock has just been set up."
"Copy that, Assistant Commissioner. They're almost at your position. We'll stay behind in case they try to turn around."
Outside, the Guider skids to a stop as the police cars kept pursuing Zhong's car.
Up ahead, officers had just set up roadblocks all over the intersection as Simon and Tommy lay out a spike line to immobilize the car when it comes their way. "Spikes placed." Tommy said as he and Simon came up to Cornelius.
"This is gonna be good." Cornelius replied, chuckling before they get out their pistols and aimed them at the car as it and the pursuing cars come into view.
In Zhong's car, Zhong looks ahead and turns to Yingteer. "Turn around, quick!" He yelled as Yingteer immediately turned the wheel.
Outside, the car does a 180 as the police cars suddenly drive past them, some hitting the spikes as they try to stop and Zhong's car immediately took off. "Those bastards!" They immediately start firing at the car as it takes off with the officers in the immobilized cars also firing at it.
Further back, the Guider is stationary as Cole and Blake see Zhong's car coming back. "Come on!" Cole yelled, activating his Earth Punch and slammed them into the road, creating a trench as it came to them, but the car turns to one side before straightening itself.
"Sons of bitches." Blake said as he held his left hand out, sending a giant gust of Wind at them.
The car quickly stopped as the wind gust made it go backwards as the car immediately turned around and Zhong sticks his arm out. "Thanks for the turn." He sarcastically said.
The Guider quickly takes off before Cole and Blake could even get in. "Hey!"
"Wait!" Cole yelled as the Guider just kept on going.
Inside the Guider, Lloyd crunched his hand into a fist as Geoff was still driving. "This is getting on my nerve!" He said as he soon got into the cannon seat and the wall retracts back before the cannon seat folds out.
Outside, Zhong's car comes across the ruined roadblock as it immediately turned onto the sidewalk with some officers firing at it before the Guider came by as Lloyd fired the cannon, some of the guar gum shots hitting a few cars. "How do you work this thing?!"
"You got your fingers in the wrong place on the trigger, hon." Gewuji said as she stuck her head out. Lloyd straightened his grip on the cannon, aimed at the car and fires a shot, hitting the rear window. The car keeps moving before turning into an alleyway as Maggie sees it is too narrow with the cannon out. "Lloyd, get back in, quick!"
"Too late!" Lloyd quickly jumped out of the seat as the cannon soon struck a chimney, causing it to completely come off the vehicle while Lloyd rolled to reduce pain before managing to grab hold of the damaged cannon as he looked to see the Guider still moving after the car as it came across a narrow path ahead.
Inside the Guider, Geoff hears a small beep, learning they're heading down the narrow path and grinned. "I got you now." He said.
Inside Zhong's car, Yingteer sees the narrow path before Zhong notices some stairs nearby. "Drive up them." He said.
Outside, Zhong's car comes up to the stairs as the two right wheels move up as the car kept moving before it past the stairs and went into the narrow path, the wheels moving along the wall.
Inside the Guider, Geoff, Gewuji and Maggie are shocked. "Stop!" Maggie yelled.
Geoff tried to hit the brakes, but they don't work. "Brakes are jammed!" He yelled. "Brace yourselves!"
Outside, the Guider comes up to the narrow path and crashes into it, denting not just the bumper, but breaking the front window too. They soon got out to see the car drive off. "That was a great squeaker."
"I know." He quickly turned to Gewuji. "Don't you dare say a thing about the damage."
"I won't." She said.
On the other side of the alleyway, the car exits and straightens itself before driving off, out of the city. Inside, Yingteer and Zhong laugh as they leave the city and Zhong holds up the medallion piece. "The first piece to resurrecting our king." He said.
Back on the street, Lloyd, Geoff, Gewuji and Maggie watch as a tow truck towed the S/B N Guider out of the alleyway and an officer drags the cannon out before Cole and Blake come up to them. "Hey, what's the big idea?" Cole asked as he tried to catch his breath from running. "Leaving us back there?"
"And let them get away as we pick you up?" Maggie asked. "Besides, you need to lose weight again."
"I can't help it when I start eating cake again."
"Never mind what is going on, look at that!" Blake yelled, pointing to the wrecked vehicle. "I had my dad's best scientists working on that thing for weeks to help with your blindness."
"I'm sorry, Blake." Geoff replied.
"We really are sorry." Lloyd said.
"You're not sorry." Blake replied. "Please, shut up."
The DB Express, the Raider jet and a police van soon appear as Kai, Jay, Zane and Nya got out of their vehicles just as the van stopped near them. "They got away?" Kai asked.
"Yeah." Maggie replied.
"How about you guys?" Lloyd asked.
"Oh, even better." Zane replied as they came over to the back of the van and Zane opens it, revealing all the captured members, handcuffed to the railings.
"You're gonna tell us all we need to know." Lloyd said as the members start shouting before he closes the doors and knocked on it. The van soon drove off as they see it go.
In the warehouse, a lot of clan members stand in front of the council as they wait in a circle before Zhong and Yingteer move through the group and come up to the council as Jieshou came next to Yingteer. "How did it go?" He asked.
"We lost five members getting it." Yingteer replied. "Hopefully, they stay quiet."
"Quiet." Zhong whispered to them before coming up to Chongbai. "Master, as requested."
Zhong holds out the piece as Chongbai held the other piece. "Brothers and sisters of Yether Age, the first artefact is in our hands." He said as he took the medallion piece from Zhong, held them both up and brought them together, creating a brief glow from it. "We are now just three goals away from achieving our dream of bringing Yether back into the world." The council starts to cheer as Chongbai smiled. "All hail for Yether!"
"All hail for Yether!"
Chongbai soon looked at the symbol on the medallion. "One down, two to go."
The following morning, at Laughy's, the Ninja, Dragon, Misako, Callen, Faith and Dareth watch the news on TV. "What started as an interrupted relay, had now escalated to a robbery when thieves broke into Borg Industries and stole a part of a medallion, representing Yether, the First Emperor of Ninjago." Gayle said on the TV as P.I.X.A.L., Skylor and Cirrus came in and sat down next to them. "5 arrests were made thanks to assistance of the Ninja, and Commissioner Navis had this to say."
The screen soon turned to Navis, who is at a podium as Simon, Tommy and Mantis, all in normal police uniforms, stand next to him. "Thanks to the assistance of the Ninja, we have managed to detain 5 of the 7 thieves in last night's heist." Navis said on the TV as reporters had their microphones or phones out. "As of this moment, the remaining 2 are still at large and have the Medallion of Oculus in their possession."
"Commissioner, why would they steal this special medallion?" A reporter asked on TV.
"We are at the moment, preparing to interview the 5 suspects and as soon as we receive information from them, we will release this to the media. Thank you, no more questions." Navis, Simon, Tommy and Mantis head back into the police station as the reporters keep asking questions before Lloyd turns the TV off.
"How bad is the Guider?" Geoff asked Blake.
"Well, you broke the cannon out, the guidance system is damaged beyond repair, the wind shield is completely broken and both headlights need replacing." Blake replied. "You know, I had only just given you that vehicle to try and help you with your blindness a few weeks ago."
"Look, never mind what you gave Geoff for his disability, we need to find out about this clan." Lloyd replied. "What do we know about them?"
"So far, they have the Medallion of Oculus, which according to the 'Book about Yether', gives the wearer a better vision if in half." P.I.X.A.L. said.
"Which means they're after the remaining two artefacts of Yether." Dragon replied. "The Dagger of Aurumetacri and the Staff of Vivifica."
"And the two members that escaped?" Cole asked.
"Facial recognition was unable to confirm the driver, but the one with sunglasses is Zhong Cheng." Zane, in his cloaked form, replied, getting out a tablet to show Zhong's mugshot. "Multiple counts of assault, aggression and robbery. Weapon of choice: Pickaxes."
"Well, that makes it six suspects identified." Lloyd said. "Mantis said that they have already identified the other five at the station."
"We just need to get information about why they want these artefacts, apart from being artefacts of Yether." Gewuji replied.
"Dareth, mind if I use the blackboard?" Nya asked.
"Go ahead." Dareth replied as he rubbed the specials off before handing some chalk to Nya and she draws a medallion, dagger and staff on the board as well as the word 'Yether' on it before scribbling over the medallion.
"Okay, so they got the medallion, all we need now is to find the dagger and the staff. But we hardly know anything about this clan, let alone Yether."
"And we have another problem." Navis said as he and Mantis came in.
"All the clan members we arrested last night, they're refusing to give us anything." Mantis said.
"All they're saying is that they are hungry or demanding a lawyer."
"We'll take over." Cole said.
"I don't think we have enough Tea of Truth left over when we interrogated Cunningham." Zane replied.
"There is something better than tea, Zane." Jay said. "Kai, you know what I'm talking about?"
"Of course." Kai replied. "In fact, I'll give her a call." He gets out his phone and dials a number.
"Who is he talking about?" Faith asked.
"You'll see." Cole replied.
