Hikari is not the usual run of the mill stiff and traditional Hyuuga. How will the ninja world react to a Hyuuga that uses genjustu, kenjustu, ninjutsu, poison, and sniping techniques with thrown weapons?

3. Chapter Three: The Land of Waves

Naruto: Rebirth of the Hyuuga Clan: Chapter Three; The Land of Waves

Kakashi was currently reading his porn and walking alongside Hikari towards the Dango shop in the upper Leaf Village. Apparently that's where they would most likely find Anko because to quote Kakashi, 'Anko loves Dango as much as Naruto loves ramen'.

Hikari had a bit of a hard time believing that, how could anyone love a certain food as much as Naruto loved ramen? It sounded impossible.

Not soon later, the two of them reached the shop and went on in. True to Kakashi's word, Anko Mitarashi was sitting at a table there crowing down on a bunch of dango.

Kakashi: "Hey, Anko. I've got a new gennin student you may like to meet."

Anko looked over to the young Hyuuga girl next to him and spoke too loudly on purpose "Ah, Hikari Hyuuga, the white-eyed wraith, it's a pleasure to finally meet you in person!"

With that, some of the customers, a few of Hikari's usual victims, ran out of the shop screaming in terror.

Hikari was internally chackling in glee, but thanks to her training in concealing her emotions she received from her clan, she didn't outwardly show it.

Anko started laughing maniacally before eventually stopping to look at her "Huh, your a tough nut to crack"

Hikari simply stated "I'm a Hyuuga, you know. I'm laughing like a crazy person on the inside but I don't want to make a scene and embarrass myself in public."

Anko laughed "Well that makes one of us! You Hyuuga are always so stuffy!" She complained "I always love scaring away idiots like your prefered victims, even without a disguise!"

Hikari shrugged, "I'm a lot more emotional and far less stuffy than the average Hyuuga. That being said, I have no desire to make a fool of myself in public spaces like my porn reading sensei over here" she said waving over to Kakashi

Kakashi groaned in exasperation "Hikari, how many times do I have to say this?! Icha Icha isn't porn!"

Hikari and Anko "It very much is, you pervert!"

Kakashi sighed "Well anyways, I came here with Hikari to see if you want to train with her. While I still am going to teach her, I thought it would be better if you helped her out given your shared interests"

Anko "Given her alter ego's reputation, I'd be a fool not to. She'll make a great member of TI!"

Hikari shrugged "Eh, torture is more of a hobby for me. I'm still more of a front-line type. As much as I like torture, I'd get bored if I did it all day every day."

Anko waved off her concerns "That's perfectly fine, we've got a good number of those in TI"

Kakashi "Alright, now that's you have agreed, I've decided to have Hikari send a shadow clone with me for my training and doing D-Ranks while her original trains with you."

Hikari nodded "That's alright with me, I'll make sure to send over a shadow clone two hours after you are supposed to arrive at training ground four"

Kakashi: "Heh, anyway I've got to go now. I have places to be after all. Send over a shadow clone at ten in the morning!"

Hikari "Send over a shadow clone at noon, got it. Also have fun running into black cats and helping old ladies Kakashi, that or whatever you're really doing."

Kakashi then body flickered out of the room

Anko then smirked "Alright then after I finish this Dango, your training will begin!"

Later

Anko was looking over at her apprentice who was looking no worse for wear, even after a 50-mile run "Huh, exactly what kind of training do you normally do if you're not even breaking so much as a sweat from this?"

Hikari "Resistance seals help out a lot. That's and I've always been pushing myself to my absolute limit."

Anko "Good, now let us get onto combat training!"

Twelve Hours Later

Hikari was laying on her back in the grass, huffing

Anko walked over and poured some water in her mouth "I've got to say, you lasted far longer than I thought you would. Your personal training methods are outstanding."

Hikari "*Huff*… Thanks..*Huff*...*Huff*"

Anko "By the way, during the day, Kakashi sent over a shadow clone to tell me you forgot to send one of yours over to him today"

Hikari: "I was kinda busy…. *Huff* with the hell you call training… *Huff* I kinda needed all of my chakra… *Huff*"

Anko "Well, I'm not going to allow you to sign the snake contract you want so badly until you can complete my training without breaking a sweat and beat me in combat afterward, all while also having a shadow clone with Kakashi and not having it dispel"

Hikari "*Huff… I'll get there eventually… *Huff*... I'm not going to go about quitting now… *Huff*..."

6 Months Later

After 6 months of training with Anko and doing various D-Rank missions, learning the Rasengan from Kakashi, and trying and failing to add her water element to the Rasengan (she hadn't given up yet!), team seven was currently in the mission office.

Naruto "Common grandpa, we've been doing these stupid D-Ranks for half a year! Can't we get an actual mission now?!"

Sasuke "I actually am in agreement with the idiot for once"

Hikari "Honestly I'm fine either way, but Naruto, don't be rude to the Hokage!"

Naruto "You're just saying that because you're busy being trained by Anko every day!"

Hikari huffed "More like being beaten up by Anko every day…"

Iruka looked at him sternly "Naruto Uzumaki, you do not make demands of the Hokage!"

Hurizen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, sighed "Fine, I have a C-Rank mission you could go on; Send him in"

Tazuna then stumbled in, clearly somewhat drunk "These brats are guarding me? I asked for ninjas, not children!"

Naruto: "Hey! We're ninjas!"

The third Hokage looked at him "They will be your guards in addition to their elite jounin teacher, Kakashi Hatake"

Tazuna "Fine! Let's just get going!"

Later, the road

Hikari saw the puddle on the ground and quickly activated her Byakugan. She then used ANBU hand signs to communicate with Kakashi 'Six human chakra signatures are in the puddle. My money is on ninja from the hidden mist that for some reason have a death mark on Tazuna'

Kakashi signed back 'Acknowledged, pretend you didn't see it but remain on guard. They will likely try to ambush us once we've passed the puddle.'

Hikari gulped, this would likely be her first kill. 'Understood'

As suspected, six ninjas jumped out of the puddle and appeared to tear apart Kakashi. With her Byakugan, she could see he actually just used a substitution.

Three of the ninja quickly jumped towards Sasuke and Naruto, while the other three jumped towards Tazuna. Unfortunately, Hikari didn't have the time to make a poison clone or shadow clone to help them out while also protecting Tazuna. As such, she made a split-second decision to kill the ninja about to attack Tazuna and let Naruto and Sasuke hold off the others until she got there.

Hikari 'Here we go' she thought as she covered her hand with her poison scalpel and rapidly sliced through the three attacking ninjas' jugulars. She then quickly jumped over to the other three ninjas currently in a taijutsu battle with Naruto and Sasuke, hitting them on the back of their necks to knock them unconscious.

Hikari then fell to her knees, looking at the blood on her hands while they were visibly shaking.

Kakashi then came back "Good job, holding off those three chinin level ninjas Naruto and Sasuke, as for you Hikari…"

Kakashi walked over to her and gently spoke "The first is always the worst"

Hikari "Does… does it get easier… I mean I've trained in jutus designed to kill, but… but I've never done it before… I know he was trying to kill an innocent person but I still can't help but feel so guilty and disgusting. I know I like to torture people, but killing them..."

Kakashi sighed "My sensei used to say 'As long as you can recognize that killing is not something to enjoy, you are still human' Just recognize that it was necessary and not something to be taken lightly nor enjoyed"

Hikari nodded, before turning a bit green and throwing up her breakfast.

Kakashi patted her on the back "It's alright, Hikari. You can get through this, I know you can. We all believe in you." Kakashi then turned toward the bridge builder "Tazuna, those six ninjas were six chunin level members of the bloody wave gang from the hidden mist village, you lied about the ranking of this mission"

The bridge builder in question began sweating bullets "Mr. Hatake, surely you must know the poor state of the land of waves thanks to the criminal tycoon Gatō. We simply don't have the money to hire a hidden village for a B ranked mission!" He quickly let out before trying to reassure him "That being said, after the land of waves gets back on its feet, we're willing to offer the village hidden in the leaves triple the normal B-rank fare in return for completing the mission!"

Kakashi looked over to his students "What do you guys think?"

Hikari was looking better and managed to steel herself. She took out some water from one of her flasks to wash away the vomit from her face, the blood on her hands, and to get the terrible taste out of her mouth. "Those ninjas were hired by a crime boss to kill an innocent man. I am in favor of continuing the mission"

Naruto "I want to help too; Believe It!"

Sasuke looked over to his two teammates "I'm also in favor, testing my skills would be nice."

Kakashi "In that case, let us continue"

Tazuna "Thank you! Thank you! You have no idea how much this means to us!"

Hikari "I'll be right back, I have some victims I need to torture" with that she body flickered to grab the three ninjas. Not but a few minutes later, shrill screams rang throughout the forest.

Naruto shivered, "I will never get used to this side of Hikari. She's always so kind and compassionate to me and all her other friends…"

Kakashi "She's very frustrated about the rigidity of her clan. I think this might be an outlet for her anger."

A few minutes later, Hikari returned and threw three scrolls at Kakashi.

Hikari "Prisoner scrolls, the victims remain alive and are physically intact. As for mentally, I'm no Yamanaka and my crude memory extraction technique I used via Vishnu has left them brain dead."

Kakashi nodded and placed the three scrolls within his flack jacket.

Hikari "Alright, do you want me to share the memories I acquired within the world of Vishnu? Projecting their stolen memories, now my memories is an easy and harmless affair"

Kakashi nodded

Hikari then wove the hand signs 'Vishnu!'

After being dragged into the world of Vishnu, the normal white and shifting blue world rippled like a mirage before becoming a whole new location.

A few hours of Vishnu time later (five minutes real-time), team seven knew everything they needed to know about Goto's bases and the forces at his disposal.

A bit after getting back on the main road, Hikari took out a metal senbon from her belt and sent it into a bush. Killing a snow rabbit.

Naruto looked at her "Hey! Why'd you do that?!"

Hikari shouted "Incoming! Get out of the way!"

Hikari, Kakashi. and Sasuke jumped out of the way while Naruto grabbed Tazuna and did the same. Not a few seconds later, a large metal cleaver slammed into the tree.

Hikari "The Executioner's blade? So you finally show yourself, demon of the hidden mist?"

Zabuza Momochi "Indeed I do little Hyuuga, and I've been hired by Gatō to kill the bridge-builder over there"

Hikari sneered, "I'm well aware!" She then went through the hand signs for her ultimate genjutsu 'Vishnu!' As expected, Zabuza froze in place, his mind caught in a time stretch. Hikari then activated her poison scalpels and body flickered towards his neck. Right before she made contact with his neck, however, her hand met another covered in ice that seemed to reflect her attack. She then looked up to see a man covered in highly reflective samurai armor made from ice.

Hikari "Ice release, you're a Yuki, aren't you? It also seems your ice armor can reflect chakra-based attacks, I know just how to handle that..."

With that, Hikari took out her chakra conductive katana from its seal and channeled chakra through her muscles to greatly enhance her strength.

Haku simply said "I am" before grabbing Zabuza and body flickering a few thousand feet away to a…a giant chakra-coated mirror?

Hikari looked directly at the location of the Yuki and shouted at the top of her lungs "You cannot hope to hide before these eyes, Yuki!"

She quickly body flickered in his direction to chase after him, her sword aimed for his heart. However, before she could catch up with him, the man holding Zabuza seemed to disappear into a vortex of chakra within the mirror, which subsequently shattered immediately afterward.

Hikari looked around, unable to find either Zabuza's or the Yuki boy's chakra signatures in her Byakugan's range "A space/time ninjutsu in addition to that chakra reflective armor? That's just fantastic…"

It was then that her teammates, sensei, and the client came up next to her.

Kakashi "Excellent job, Hikari! You almost single-handedly defeated one of the seven ninja swordsmen of the mist!"

Hikari "I would have got him if it weren't for the intervention of that Yuki boy and his mirror-based space/time ninjutsu…"

Kakashi: "Hey, you still almost got him. There was no way you could have known about the Yuki boy's space/time ninjutsu, those things are notoriously rare."

Naruto just looked at Kakashi in confusion "Uh, Kakashi Sensei, what's a space/time ninjutsu?"

Kakashi "Naruto, a space/time ninjutsu is a very rare type of ninjutsu that allows the user to warp the very fabric of reality by creating a tunnel through the dimensional layers of the universe. My sensei, the fourth Hokage, was infamous for the usage of such a Jutsu, the flying thunder god jutsu."

Naruto: "That's so cool! But I don't see how that could work, that sounds so confusing!"

Kakashi "Why do you think they're so rare, Naruto? Most people cannot comprehend such jutsu or even figure out how to make them, let alone perform them" he explained, "By the way Hikari, how long did you put Zabuza under Vishnu for?"

Hikari "Ten Seconds, I figured out that using only the minimal time necessary for a kill was the best choice to conserve chakra."

Kakashi "So Zabuza and the Yuki boy will likely try to ambush us again soon? Let us keep going"

A few hours later, seam seven came up to Tazuna's house. His daughter was very accommodating, but his grandson…

Inari started crying "You can't beat Gatō, you just can't! No one can beat him! Why are you throwing away your lives like this?! You'll just end up dead!"

Naruto looked really angry, but Hikari motioned for him to stop. "Inari, it's clear to me that Gatō has taken away someone very dear to you. But tell me this, what would they want you to do? Would they want you to be hopeless and weak like you are now? Or would they want you to remain strong and hopeful for the future and a better tomorrow, a tomorrow without Gatō?"

Inari looked up at Hikari with tears in his eyes and ran away to his room.

Naruto "Well, that's one way to say that to him"

Hikari turned over to Naruto "Knowing you, you would just say it in a very insulting and condescending manner. I know you're a very lonely person and you hate your old self and pity those in a similar position, those like Inari"

"No, I wouldn't!" Naruto responded far too quickly.

Hikari just stared at him

Naruto "Alright fine! I might have planned to say it to him like that!"

Later

Hikari was in the middle of training when Kakashi came up to her.

Hikari "Hey Kakashi, what's up?"

Kakashi held up a familiar-looking piece of paper she hadn't seen the likes of since she was five years old.

Hikari "You think I might have a secondary elemental affinity?"

Kakashi "I do, we already know you have an extremely powerful water element, but I'm curious to see if you have another. Jonin level ninja commonly manifests a second weaker elemental affinity. My first affinity is lightning, but I discovered my secondary affinity for Earth a little before I became a Jonin."

Hikari nodded and grabbed the paper and ran some chakra through it. Unsurprisingly, it became drenched but in addition to this, it also crumbled up somewhat.

"Huh, so I have a respectable secondary affinity for lightning, quite a strong combination."

Kakashi eye-smiled "It appears I may yet have more things to teach you"

Hikari "Speaking of elemental ninjutsu, what are you teaching Naruto and Sasuke in that regard?"

Kakashi "Naruto has a wind element so it's harder to teach him as my wind ninjutsu are copied. That being said, I'm having him practice the leaf-cutting exercise. I hope to eventually set him up with Asuma to train him further.

As for Sasuke, he primarily has a lightning element, quite strange for an Uchiha, but also of course has a strong fire element secondary."

Hikari's brow furrowed in thought "That is strange, weren't both Mikoto and Fugaku Uchiha fire-natured?"

"They were" Kakashi confirmed

Hikari "Huh. So anyway, I assume you want me to practice the lightbulb exercise? I could go into town and buy one. Under a transformation of course"

Kakashi shook his head "I have another lightbulb. I did what you just offered to do and bought a pack of ten tiny light bulbs for 145 Ryo." He then handed the package over to Hikari. "Let me know when you figure out how to power that."

Two Days Later

Despite trying her hardest, even using her maximum limit of five shadow clones, progress was very VERY slow. Perhaps she should go ask Sasuke for help?

She activated her Byakugan and easily found Sasuke. When she got there she found him practicing a fire jutsu.

Sasuke "Fire Style: Dragon Fire Jutsu!" A long stream of flame then came out of his mouth over the lake he was standing in front of.

Hikari "Hey Sasuke, I was wondering. Can you help me train with my lightning chakra? I apparently have a secondary lightning affinity"

Sasuke looked over to her "You do? Well, I suppose I can help you if you help me with taijutsu."

Hikari "What do you have in mind?"

Sasuke "Well, I know how you've combined the chakra scalpel technique and your water affinity and thought that maybe I could incorporate my fire affinity into my taijutsu style."

Hikari "Don't forget my expertise in poisons, that comes in real handy in a fight. I do call them my poison scalpels for a reason."

Sasuke nodded "Yes, that. I will help you train in your lightning element if you help me figure out how to incorporate my fire affinity into my taijutsu"

Hikari "My main affinity is the opposite to your secondary, but I'll try my best"

Sasuke: "Great. Let's get to training"

Hidden in the trees, Kakashi eye-smiled at the display.

2 Weeks Later; Team Meeting

Kakashi stepped up to the table "Alright guys, while you were training, I used some shadow clones to scout out the details of Gatō's stronghold that the bloody wave ninjas didn't properly see. As such I have a new mission. You are to remain here and protect Tazuna and his family, while I assassinate Gatō and his thugs"

Naruto "But Kakashi Sensei, I want to come too!"

Kakashi "This is a stealth mission involving assassination, Naruto. Neither you nor Sasuke fits that description. As for Hikari, she could easily work with me on this mission but I need her stationed here in case Zabuza and that Yuki boy decides to come back. She's currently the only one of you three who can defeat them."

Sasuke grunted and Naruto pouted.

Kakashi "As if now until I get back, Hikari is the team leader. I think it will be a good experience for you, Hikari"

Hikari "Yes, Kakashi Sensei, I will lead team seven to the best of my ability"

Kakashi: "Good, now I've got to go. Gatō is soon to be dead" with that, Kakashi body flickered away.

2 Days Later; Gatō's Stronghold

Kakashi wiped his blade of Gatō's and many others' blood. He wondered how his team was doing. All of this felt too easy. That combined with Gatō's shock at him being there… He had to get back quickly.

The Bridge; Team Seven Fighting Gatō's Army

Sasuke wove some hand signs "Fire Style: Dragon Fire Jutsu!" That attack easily killed about 35 of the bandits.

Hikari then performed some hand signs 'Vishnu!' She then quickly body flickered around the 70 people she entrapped and rapidly decapitated them with her katana.

Naruto, of course, was spamming out shadow clones like they were going out of style, easily overwhelming the bandits.

Hikari "Hey guys! I'm at 387" she then performed some hand signs 'Water Style: Tsunami!' With that, she forcibly dragged the water molecules in the air to come together into a massive wave. It was a new trick she read about the second Hokage being able to do that she just recently figured out how to do on her own. "Scratch that, 421. What are you guys at?"

Sasuke fired off another great fireball before responding "I'm at 276."

Naruto: "Hey! No fair! I'm only at 132!"

Hikari knew this tactic of using Naruto and Sasuke's competitiveness to motivate them was only a temporary solution, but it was all she could think of to momentarily distract them from the horror of their first and subsequent next few hundred kills.

A few minutes later, the massive bandit army was slaughtered in its entirety. Now that the adrenaline was out of their systems, their actions had finally caught up with them. Naruto and Sasuke were horrified at the actions they committed while Hikari was somber and feeling a little sick to her stomach.

Naruto: "How could I do that?! I just killed them?! I'm a demon just like all the villagers said I am!"

Sasuke was just staring off into the distance "Am I no better than my brother?"

Hikari then activated one of her several chakra storage seals to replenish her low chakra. She then created a shadow clone to go over to Naruto while she went over to Sasuke.

Hikari sat down and gave Sasuke a hug, surprising him "Sasuke, listen to me. You are not your brother. You are better than him. The people you killed were bandits, criminals who raped, killed, brutalized, and tortured innocent people for fun. You did what you had to do."

Sasuke "But you like torture… Shit. I should be stronger than this!"

Hikari "I like torturing the guilty. I see it as a kind of karmic retribution. I would never enjoy torturing an innocent person. Also, you are a very strong person, Sasuke, stronger than you give yourself credit for. I believe you can get through this, Sasuke."

Hikari Clone "Look Naruto, you're not a bad person. You are not a demon, The people you killed were evil; serial killers, rapists, child torturers, and all kinds of bad people. You did the right thing, you made the world a better place."

Naruto was crying "I-I know. It's just-"

Hikari Clone "It's alright, Naruto. You want to be Hokage right? Well, the Hokage sometimes needs to kill to defend the village. You killed these bandits to defend this town just like a Hokage would."

Naruto smiled at that "Thanks Hikari, I needed that."

The Hikari Clone looked kinda sheepish. "Hey Naruto, can you keep a secret?"

Naruto looked at her cautiously "Yeah?"

Hikari Clone "Well, I know why everyone hated you and called you a demon. It's illegal on the penalty of death to speak of it in the leaf village but since we're not in the leaf village right now…" She trailed off.

Naruto started crying again "You do? Why?! WHY?!"

Hikari Clone "Well, it's because you are something known as a Jinchūriki, or the power of human sacrifice. I don't know how the fox originally escaped from the previous Jinchūriki, the fourth Hokage's wife Kushina Uzumaki, but my suspicions are that it was the hidden stone due to their abject hatred of the yellow flash.

That being said, the fourth Hokage couldn't kill the nine tails, it's impossible to kill the tailed beasts as they are creatures made out of massive amounts of pure chakra which just reform later elsewhere if killed.

The fourth Hokage, with a heavy heart, was forced to reseal the nine-tailed fox away into an innocent newborn baby at the cost of his own life.

This baby was you, Naruto."

Naruto had a very faraway stare "They… they hated me for the fox…"

Hikari Clone "Know this Naruto, you are NOT the fox, you are Naruto. Just like how my storage seal isn't my katana but only stores it, so you only store the fox safely away where it can do no harm. You are not a demon or a monster Naruto, you are a hero that keeps the fox at bay just by living!"

Naruto immediately jumped up and hugged the Hikari Clone "Thank you so much for telling me all that Hikari… Why…. Why didn't grandpa tell me?!"

Hikari "Honestly, I never agreed with that decision, but I still respect him for others. He is a flawed human being, just like all of us are."

4 Days Later

Hikari, Naruto, and Sasuke were busy talking to each other when Kakashi returned with an eye-smile "Hey guys, how's it going?" Kakashi could immediately feel the mood turn somber.

Hikari "Sasuke and Naruto helped me kill a large army of bandits. I helped them through it to the best of my ability."

Naruto looked at Kakashi "You were one of the students of the fourth Hokage right?"

Kakashi "Yeah?"

Naruto "Why didn't you tell me I was the Jinchūriki of the nine-tailed fox?"

Kakashi was caught entirely off guard by that and turned toward Hikari, his expression clearly questioning and accusatory towards her.

Hikari shrugged "Leaf Village law doesn't apply here, neither does fire country law for that matter. As such, I am immune from any and all consequences of laws in the land of waves that exclusively apply to those within fire country and the village hidden in the leaves."

Kakashi sighed "Legally speaking, that is a valid loophole…"

Hikari "Look Kakashi Sensei, not telling Naruto was a mistake! All those years wondering why everyone hated him? All those could have been prevented! Naruto is a hero kami damn it! He keeps the fox away where it can do no harm!"

Kakashi looked back at her "We will be discussing this with the Hokage regardless."

Hikari shrugged "What's done is done. You can't unhatch the egg."

Kakashi "Well… I suppose we should be getting back to the village now…"

Hikari "Oh by the way? What happened to Zabuza and that Yuki boy?"

Kakashi "Oh that? That's actually a funny story… You see, Gatō was actually planning to kill the two of them. When I showed them the entry from his dairy, they backed off and left the land of waves permanently."

Hikari looked at Kakashi questioningly "But can't the Sharingan copy handwriting? How is that valid evidence?"

Kakashi "They didn't know that."

Hikari "And why didn't they come to try attacking us again?"

Kakashi "Because Gatō was paranoid. He wanted them where they could protect him and eventually kill them. I snuck past them all the same. I also took our mission money and a bunch of evidence from Gatō's storehouses."

Hikari "In that cause, I suppose everything worked out in the end"

On the way back, Hikari continued practicing the lightbulb exercise. Occasionally she got a momentary flash of light in reward for her efforts.

She was making progress!

Two Weeks Later: The Hokage's Office

Hurizen Sarutobi rubbed his face "Let me get this straight, you were given a C ranked mission that turned out to be a B ranked mission. You continued anyway and during this mission you had Naruto begin basic training exercises in his main elemental affinity of wind, Sasuke in his primary elemental affinity of lightning, and Hikari in her secondary elemental affinity of lightning.

From here you set out on an unpaid and unhired assassination mission to kill the crime lord Gatō. You were successful and while this was occurring, a massive bandit army hired by Gatō was besieging the town where the mission's client lives.

After this was dealt with by team seven under the temporary command of Hikari Hyuuga. Hikari then proceeded to tell Naruto that he was the Jinchūriki of the nine-tailed fox. She then went on to defend herself by correctly stating that leaf village law doesn't apply in the land of waves, is that all correct?"

Kakashi "Yes, Lord Hokage."

Hurizen Sarutobi "Do you have any idea how much of a headache this mission was? It was unorthodox in every possible sense of the word. You let a Genin be in command during a siege, you taught genin the basics of elemental chakra manipulation, you assassinated someone on a whim, and most of all, you took the mission regardless of the rank.

You do know that if you came back for aid, then we would have accepted the later triple payment for this mission."

Kakashi "I honestly felt like they were ready, they were. Hikari is all but a special Jounin in official rank while having an impressive collective skill set on the lower end of Kage level, Sasuke is well on his way to becoming a Chunin, and Naruto has clearly started becoming far more mature."

Hurizen Sarutobi "On a happier note, you said that Hikari managed to figure out how to draw water from the air to use in her jutsu just like how Tobirama Sensei did?"

Kakashi nodded "Yes, she demonstrated it to me. She drew it just from the air and not from one of her various storage scrolls."

Hurizen Sarutobi "Most impressive, I wonder what her clan will think of her quickly rising and untraditional power?"

The Hyuuga Clan Compound; Hikari's House

Hikari "Hey dad! I'm home!"

Her dad Hikaro Hyuuga then ran out and hugged his daughter "My daughter! How was your first C-rank mission!"

Hikari hesitated for a moment, this was the moment of truth, the moment she revealed her power "It wasn't a C-rank like we first suspected, it was a B-rank. This mission was a complete success. Also… I had my first kill and continued, later on, to kill about 500 bandits on this mission…"

Her father audibly gasped "What?! How?! You're adequate in our clan taijutsu at best! How could you be capable of doing such a thing?!"

Hikari "Well you see, I didn't use our clan taijutsu even once during that mission. I used my own custom taijutsu style, ninjutsu, genjutsu, kenjutsu, poison, and chakra form changing skills to achieve this."

Her father was flabbergasted, he thought that his daughter abandoned that foolish path long ago!

Hikaro "You both lied to and disobeyed a direct order from the clan head?!"

Hikari nodded "I did, am I am happy and proud to say that I have done so."

Hikaro "My daughter, how can you abandon our Hyuuga Clan tradition so easily?!"

Hikari scoffed "Hyuuga Clan tradition is useless, I hate it! It does nothing but hold back the true potential of our great clan!"

Hikaro was yet again surprised by his daughter. Her hatred, her vitriol against clan tradition, in a way frightened him. "Please my daughter, if and when the elders find out-"

Hikari pushed him away with a look of fierce determination on her face "Let them come, I welcome it!"

Word of Hikari's powers and dismissal of tradition would spread quickly. The next day, Hikari would be called before the elders.

Elder One "For your disgrace and transgressions against the clan, we have decided to place you within the branch family as punishment!"

Her mother Hiomi gasped "Oh please no! Please don-"

Hikari Hyuuga stood with her head held high "With no due respect; go fuck yourselves you old farts!"

Elder Two "Insolent Child! You dare disrespect and defy the revered council of elders?!"

Hikari only responded by activating her Byakugan, chakra armor, and her poison scalpels. "If you so badly wish to enforce your useless rulings, you will have to do it through force. Let it be known to all who would witness my following deeds that they were all in self-defense."

Elder Three "If this insolent upstart brat wants to be taken down by force, then so be it! Attack her and kill this living insult to the Hyuuga Clan!"

As one, the twenty-five main family elite bodyguards of the elders struck "You're In the realm of our divination: Gentle Fist: 128 Palms!"

Before they could hit her, Hikari smirked and started rotating and letting out chakra 'Rotational Art: Toxic Blade Whirlwind!'

As the bodyguards struck, they soon found themselves striking against rapidly slicing blades of poisoned chakra that cleanly separated their hands from their bodies. These bodyguards quickly blacked out from the pain of losing their hands combined with the excruciating pain inflicted on them by her nonlethal torture poison applied to her chakra scalpels.

While she was still spinning, she rapidly performed some hand signs then caught the elders in Vishnu. She stopped spinning and focused on the elders. She then proceeded to revert her poison scalpels back into basic chakra scalpels to and started to cut the ligaments and chakra pathways in each of the elders' hands before knocking them out with a chop to the backs of each of their necks.

Hikari Hyuuga looked over the room of shell shocked Hyuuga clan members. The only ones that affected her somewhat were that of her mother and father. "Does anyone else wish to challenge me and my will to better the Hyuuga clan?"

Everyone in the room simply stared openly in shock at Hikari. They quickly regained their senses and shook their heads.

"If any who wish to harness the true power of our great but unnecessarily constrained bloodline, then come seek me out. I will eagerly help you discover your true potential."

And just like that, Hikari Hyuuga confidently left the great meeting house. For a good while, after she left, the meeting house was still so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

Ten minutes later, Hikari's parents got over their shock and quickly left the building to go chase after their daughter. The rest of the room started murmuring amongst themselves.
