Chapter 2 - The First Summons

In a carriage, on the way to the city of Orário, we can see a 14-year-old boy sitting with his left hand on his cheek with a face that showed that he was very bored.

"So, you're going to Orario to become an adventurer, boy?" The man driving the carriage asks to which he just nods. It's been like this the whole trip he's barely spoken a word.

"You're not the talkative type huh. Very well," the sir says.

Bell was looking out the window. He could see the beautiful river with crystal clear water. And soon after, a very beautiful forest with the sound of birds singing. It was really very relaxing.

As he looked at the beautiful trees of the forest along with his animals, Bell remembered when he first learned about the place where he really came from. That was before he started his training. It was also the day he met that 'pervert' for the first time, although he'd heard his voice before.

His mind began to wander into these memories.

...

"So, grandpa, where are we going?" 5-year-old Bell asked his grandfather. He just smiled before speaking.

"Well, Bell, you're only 5 years old, so we can't train you in very heavy stuff. That's why I thought today would be the perfect day to talk about some things.

"Talk about some things?" Bell repeated confused.

"Yes," Zeus stated before his eyes got serious. "Although you are very young, you are still more mature than children your age. For that reason we think it's time for you to know about everything. The place where you and your father really are from. As well as what awaits you in the future. You must prepare yourself."

Bell just listened in silence. If he were any other child, he would probably be confused. But he had serious eyes, similar to his grandfather's. It was very unrealistic to think that a 5 year old boy could hold such a look. But then again, Bell is not a normal kid. His own nature said so-although he still didn't know it.

Bell was thinking otherwise. Finally he would have more information about his father. And the way Zeus spoke, it sounded like he came from somewhere else. What or where this place was, Bell didn't know.

It looks like they were heading to the forest.

"We're here," Zeus said after a while of walking.

Bell looked around, and saw that they were in a forest. There was a big stream not far away, several beautiful trees, with the sound of birds singing. Looking a little further, he notices the presence of another person. It appeared to be an elf. He has blonde hair and orange eyes. He wears a feathered hat. He is slender and of medium height, with slender arms and legs sticking out of his clothes, with orange hair streaked with flowing streaks. He was standing idly by a tree with his eyes closed. It seemed to be waiting for them.

"Hey Hermes!" Zeus yelled at the man. He opened his eyes and then looked in Bell's direction. Hermes gave a big smile as he answered.

"Finally you're here! I thought you'd keep me waiting a lot longer. So this boy is Bell, your grandson, isn't he?" He spoke happily as he looked at Bell.

Bell found that voice familiar.

"Are you that pervert who came to see grandpa the other day?" Bell asked. His voice was the same as that person who called his grandfather to go after the 'beauties'.

"What?" Hermes couldn't believe what he heard.

It was the first time he'd seen the brat, and he already calls him a pervert? Where is the respect for the elders? Hermes looked at Zeus who was shooting him a blank stare. He then remembered the day he called Zeus to go after some 'beauties', but shouldn't the brat be sleeping at that time?

"Are you the pervert who came to see grandpa the other day?" Bell repeated his question.

"Do you call people you see for the first time pervert, boy?"

"Only if they deserve it. And it looks like you deserve to be called that."

"Zeus!" Hermes turned to Zeus with tearful eyes. "Your grandson is insulting me! Haven't you taught him to respect his elders!? What kind of education have you given him until now?"

"The kind for him to build a harem."

Hermes' eyes gleamed.

"Ohohoho, and what did he choose? No, don't tell me, it's clear what he chose." Hermes turned to Bell with a perverted smile. "And you call me a pervert? Do you want a harem?"

"Who the hell said I wanted a harem?" Bell looked at him impassive. "I didn't say any of that, so stop twisting things, you pervert."

"Don't say that, I know you want a harem. Just admit it, I know you do. It won't hurt to admit it," Hermes started to speak as he nudged Bell with his fingers, making him a little annoyed.

"Didn't we come here to argue about something? We're wasting time," said Bell.

His real intention was to get the pervert to stop nudging him, and it seemed to work when he quickly stopped and put on a serious look, as did Zeus, who also looked serious.

"Alright, joking aside. Let's sit down for a while, what we're going to talk about is going to be quite long." Said Zeus as he pointed to a small corner near the trees.

The three went there and sat on the floor. Bell could see Hermes and Zeus staring at each other a little, probably wondering what they were going to tell him first. After a while, Zeus coughed to get Bell's attention. He then began to speak.

"At first, I wanted to talk about your training today, but because of Hermes' suggestion, we decided to tell you the truth before we start training, so that you are prepared for the future." Zeus began, while looking at his grandson who was listening intently.

"Tell me Bell, do you think there are other big 'continents' far from the one we're on?" Zeus asked.

"Well...yes? I mean, the world is pretty big, so it's normal to assume that, right?"

"You're right," Hermes continued. "There really are others, and one of them is where your father came from."

This information surprised him.

"My dad?"

Zeus decided to cut to the chase.

"Yes, your father, Bell. He came from a place called Runeterra."

"...Runeterra...?" He repeated, until his eyes widened as he looked at the two of them. "You mean..."

"Yes, that book that was written by your father that you read, it describes the places your father has been to. It also tells about some people he knew."

Bell was speechless. Mean those amazing places described by the book were real? Well, he really thought the description was too detailed to be made up. If that were the case, does it mean he could visit these places someday? He hoped so.

Wait, he quickly thought of something.

"You said my father came from this place, right? That means he grew up and was born there, doesn't it?" He asked for confirmation. His grandfather and Hermes nodded in agreement. "If that's the case, why did he come to this place?" He couldn't help but ask.

Don't take it the wrong way, but from the description in the book, that place looked a lot more amazing than where he was now.

Both Hermes and Zeus sighed.

It was Hermes who answered.

"We don't know the real reason for this, as he never told us, but it seems that it is for the enemies he made in that place. This was also one of the reasons why he put up a great barrier that protects us."

'Barrier?' Bell thought.

As if he knew Bell's thoughts, added Hermes. "The barrier is something your father created and put in place the moment he got here. It covers a lot of territory and prevents your father's enemies from discovering this location. But there's a problem..."

"What problem?" asked Bell.

"Time," Zeus replied.

"Time?" Bell repeated.

"Yes, time," Hermes assumed. "Your father was the one who kept the barrier going, and since he's not here anymore..."

"The barrier will eventually disappear, right?" Bell deduced.

"Yes," Hermes confirmed.

Sometimes it was unbelievable to think that they were talking to a 5 year old boy. His attitude and manner of speaking is very similar to that of adults. But that must be what he inherited from his father. They didn't intend to reveal this to him just yet.

"If that's the case, when the barrier disappears..."

"Eventually they'll find out about this place. It could take a week, a month, even a year. But they'll get to us at some point." Zeus continues Bell's speech.

"The problem isn't just my father's enemies, is it?"

It was normal for him to think that his father's enemies would come to him in the future, since he was his son, but if that was all there was no need for all this talk.

"Yes, it's not just them. We don't know what might come to us, but your father told us that in this place, Runeterra, there are several creatures that can be compared to the monsters in the Dungeon of Orario." Hermes replied.

It was true. Bell remembered the book mentioning some of these creatures. There were even beings that were literally 'Gods' of this place. But it had almost no information or name, just a small mention.

"But it's not the real problem either," Hermes said suddenly, catching Bell's attention. "The book mentioned some 'tribes' and 'empires', right? There's one we should be extremely careful about, and I'm sure you know who I'm talking about."

Bell thought for a moment, and then his eyes widened, a name escaped his lips.

"Noxus..."

If the book mentioned all the places his father had been... that meant Noxus was among them. It meant that they really existed. And if they found out about this place...

"How much time?" Bell asked. "How long until the barrier completely disappears?"

"I'm the second person who knows more about this barrier, and yet my knowledge of it compared to your father's is ridiculously high. Using all my means to keep the barrier up as much as possible, I'd say we have at most nine years." Hermes replied.

'9 years... it's exactly when I'm going to turn 14, the moment I'm going to Orário...'

"So I have to prepare..."

"Yes, and that's also one of the reasons we wanted to talk to you." Said Zeus.

"What do you mean?"

"I'll get in touch with Alfia to train you, but it should take a while. That's why Hermes is here."

"Wait, who is Alfia?" Bell asked quickly.

"Your aunt. But before you say anything, there's a reason you've never met her until now, and that will be explained eventually."

A lot of information is being thrown in Bell's face today.

"Okay. But it doesn't explain the fact that you say that's why the perverted God is here."

"Don't keep calling me a pervert!" Hermes yelled at him. "Wait, how did you find out I'm a God too?"

"Besides the fact that your name is 'Hermes?' Who knows," Bell shrugged as Hermes looked like his soul was leaving his body. "But anyway, what were you really saying about why he was here?"

Hermes seemed to regain his composure as he spoke. "As you already know, I am the God of the Hermes family. Until Alfia arrives, you will train a little with my Asfi-chan, who by the way is a very beautiful blue haired elf, hehehe."

"Although I think she would look a lot prettier if she let her hair grow..." Commented Zeus as he stroked his beard and nodded to himself.

"Isn't it? I said that too, but she just slapped me. I don't understand these women..." Hermes said.

Bell was just looking at them with an expressionless face.

"You perverts..."

...

...

Then he found out that his father came from a place called Runeterra. He felt it the moment he was leaving the village. That one...

'It should be the barrier disappearing...' thought Bell.

Bell also asked his grandfather about the 'spirits'. He agreed that he was able to see. All the Gods were able to see them. But Bell wasn't a god, so how was he able to see? Zeus said it was because his father - even though he wasn't a god - was also able to see them. So it must have been passed on to him through his genes.

All of this was suspicious.

Bell suspected that Hermes and his grandfather were hiding something from him.

However, it was useless to think about it now.

There was also the Dark Guild. A name that started to become famous and appeared when he was about 8 years old. It is said that this Guild is hidden somewhere outside the city walls, preparing to invade the city of Orario in the future. It is not yet known if it is true or is just a rumor created by people. If it is real, then discovering the God who gave his Falna to them is essential.

Many people think they are just rumours. After all, it is said that the members of this Guild are all Level 4 or higher. So they think this is impossible. A Guild composed only of adventurers of Level 4 or higher is hard to believe, after all, the city of Orario is the only one in which the Dungeon resides. They find it impossible to advance that far without the strongest monsters in the Dungeon.

Dungeon monsters are stronger than the versions of them found outside.

And just when he was thinking about it...

"This is bad! Monsters!" The man driving the carriage shouted.

Bell looked out the window and saw countless Goblins alongside War Shadows.

That made him raise his eyebrows.

"Stay here, I'll take care of it," Bell ordered as he got out of the carriage.

"You're right about that boy!? You still don't have Falna, right? I mean, you don't even have a weapon!" the man screamed.

Bell agreed to the weapon part. But well, it wasn't his fault.

That 'woman' he has trained with for the past few years is to blame. We're going to need to go back a little bit to find out about this.

...

"Very well, boy." Said a white haired woman with different colored eyes. His left eye was gray, while his right was green. She was a very beautiful woman.

Her name was Alfia.

"Auntie, don't you think that when I go to Orário it's good for me to have a sword? Even if I can get by unarmed, wouldn't it be nice if you kind of give me some kind of dagger as a gift?"

The woman just looked at him and huffed before speaking. "Boy, if you really want to be a first-class adventurer, you've got to get things done by your own efforts. So no getting gifts or overly strong weapons like those cliché protagonists in your hero stories."

Bell only flashed an annoyed look at his aunt, but even so, he couldn't help but agree with her argument.

...

'Damn woman... she should have at least given me something of medium durability, it didn't have to be a 'broken' weapon or anything like that.' Bell thought, but he can't blame her entirely, after all, he agreed with her back then too. But now... he really wanted to be with his Katana that he used for the missions now...

He just waved at the man saying he'll take care of it.

About 7 minutes after he had killed all the monsters, Bell came back as soon as he cleaned his hands which were covered in blood in a river next to where he was. As he got back into the carriage, he saw that the man driving the carriage was staring at him intently.

He was uncomfortable, and was going to ask the man to move on, however, the man's unexpected cry startled him a little.

"That was amazing boy! Are you sure you don't have Falna? You killed the monsters with your bare hands!"

Bell regained his composure and answered the man. "I've been training since I was 5, so I think that's normal."

"Seriously?"

"Yes, unarmed combat was one of the things I trained in. What would you do if you lost your weapon in combat? I've read stories where a great swordsman, thought to be invincible, died pathetically after losing his sword."

"I see..." the man just replied as he returned to direct the carriage towards the city of Orario.

About three hours later, Bell arrived at Orario, passed through the gates, and finally entered the city. He spent about 20 minutes talking to the guards. It seems that they are more restricted about the people who come in. When he asked, they said it was about the possible existing Dark Guild. So they can't let anyone in easy like they used to.

The moment he passed Orario's gates and entered the city, he suddenly felt a look of...lust? Being directed towards him. He looked up and found the top of the Tower of Babel.

...

...

Right at the top of the Tower of Babel, on the top floor, is the resting place of a certain Goddess. Wrapped in a fine black evening gown, she was a slender, voluptuous figure. She was completely bored of it all. That was the Goddess of beauty, Freya. Her waist-length silver hair shone brightly, as if there were several pieces of ice crystals floating around. She thought her day would be as boring as any other, but...

She saw the figure of a white-haired boy arriving in town. But there's a reason she was interested. And that reason was the fact that several 'spirits' were following him. It was as if the 'spirits' liked his presence.

Just the thought of looking into this boy's soul filled her with lust. However, before trying to look into the soul of that boy with white hair and red eyes, she was totally surprised.

The boy looked up and stared straight up at the very top of the Tower of Babel. It was as if he was looking right at her.

"Fufu, how interesting. Let's see your soul type."

Ottar who was a little behind heard his Goddess mutter this. Looks like she's found someone interesting after all this time.

However, while trying to look into his soul, something totally unexpected happened.

At the same moment that she used her 'Discerning Eyes' ability , she didn't have much time to look. The reason was the immense brightness. It didn't last a second before she fell back screaming.

"Freya-sama!?" Ottar yelled running towards him.

He saw her covering her eyes with her hands, as if her eyes were in pain, it took about a minute for her to fully calm down.

"Ottar," after acclaiming herself she said suddenly. She then started to get up.

The moment Ottar saw her eyes, he widened his own. His Goddess's eyes were red, and blood was running just below them. It wasn't much, but it was alarming.

"Freya-sama, what happened to you!?" Ottar looked very worried. This had never happened before.

"Ottar, calm down," she said as she touched his eyes. She then turned to him. "Ottar, I want you to keep an eye on someone."

Those words confused him. However, he remembered that she was looking into his mirror. She uses the mirror to look at the people of Orario in search of someone interesting. Had anyone done this? Had someone hurt their Goddess? Who made this? He would make that person pay.

"Ottar, I know what you're thinking now," his Goddess's words snapped him out of his mind. "The person didn't do it on purpose. In fact, it's entirely my fault. But I didn't expect to find something that seemed to be impossible..." she said.

"What do you mean? Does it have something to do with this 'person'?" Ottar asked.

"Yes. It's a totally unexpected discovery, even for me," she said leaving him even more confused. "Tell me, Ottar. Have you ever witnessed a God not being able to use his 'abilities' on 'humans'?

"Never heard of it..." He said as his eyes widened. "You don't mean..." he said looking at her.

Freya was looking towards the place where she was not long ago.

"Yes," she confirmed.

When she tried to look into that white haired boy's soul, all she saw was a big flash of light, and 1 second later, her eyes started to burn.

She still couldn't believe this was possible. That boy...

Your soul...

Your eyes...

Freya's divine eyes could not see the boy's soul.

That shouldn't be possible, she could look into the souls of Gods easily, so why the hell did she have such a reaction when trying to look into that boy's soul? It was as if her soul was too majestic for her to look at.

That thought was ridiculous, after all, she was a Goddess. But it was the only thing she could think of at the moment.

However, this was all interesting. This boy has gained all your interest.

"You'll keep an eye on him, Ottar. White hair, red eyes, he looks like a rabbit." Your Goddess said.

Ottar just nodded as his eyes turned towards the 'mirror'.

Freya had a single thought in her mind.

'Fufu, you are the most interesting person who has appeared in all these years. I won't let you get away, you'll be mine, boy...'

...

...

"Looks like the gaze has stopped," muttered Bell.

"Damn, grandpa said Freya was a pervert, but I didn't think she'd lay eyes on me as soon as I walked into town..." he commented as he started to walk, until a thought crossed his mind.

'Why am I always surrounded by perverts...?'

He headed towards the guild.

...

It was late afternoon, after lunchtime, when daily business at the Guild dwindled and the staff had little to do. But they were never idle. This would be the time when the documents would be detailed, the paperwork would be sorted and the preparations for the night's frenzy would begin. Adventurers stormed this building as the sun began to set, ready to record their findings and exchange their magic stones for val.

Eina Tulle was always ahead of the game and had finished the day's work. But as Clan accountant and adventurer's advisor, she would stay and conduct business until the doors closed for the night.

The Clan's doors were opened.

Eina and a few others who listened quickly turned their eyes to look at the new person who had just walked in. It was a boy with white hair and red eyes. He wore white hooded clothes. The adventurers for some reason were on alert looking at the boy who had just entered.

If people only looked at his appearance, they would easily compare him to a rabbit.

But those eyes...

His eyes were extremely sharp. He looked like someone who had already fought a few battles before coming here.

This was the first time Eina had seen him. 'Probably new in town,' she thought.

The boy quickly got to her.

"Hi how can I help you?" she asked with a smile.

The boy returned the smile and said.

"Good morning, Miss Elf. I would like to register as an adventurer."

His voice was calm and at the same time sharp. Eina sweated a little for some unknown reason.

Normally, Eina would sigh, as she didn't like new people to become adventurers for the high risk. But this boy gave the impression that he knew exactly what he was doing. She quickly went into work mode.

"Okay, fill out these documents and give them to me." She said as she picked up a sheet and passed it to him.

The boy just obeyed and started filling out the form. After a few minutes, the boy came back and handed the sheet back to her. She took the sheet, adjusted her glasses, and began to read.

Name: Bell Cranel.

Race: Human.

Age: 14 years.

Gender: Male.

Some experience: I've been training with grandpa since I was 5 years old. I have experience in unarmed combat, with daggers and using swords (better if it is a 'Katana')

Family: _

'He's too young.' Eina thought as she looked at her age. She narrowed her eyes as she read the experience part. 'Why is it better if it's a Katana?' She thought confused. However, she realized that the family was missing. She then deduced that he didn't have any, as he appeared to be new to town.

"You do not have family?" She asked to confirm.

"Not yet, I just got to town." He replied monotonously.

I cannot allow you to enter the dungeon without a family," she said.

"Don't worry about it. I don't plan on getting into it yet. I'll go look for a family first."

"I see, that's good," she said with a hint of relief.

"When you become an adventurer, you are entitled to have an advisor, to assist you with the knowledge of the Dungeon."

"I see... in that case, can I choose you?" He asked looking straight into her eyes, making her blush for a small fraction of a second.

"S-sure. My name is Eina Tulle." She introduced herself.

"Bell Cranel. Although you already know from the form I filled out."

There was a reason why Bell wanted Eina as his counselor. He had very good intuition, and looking at his features, Eina seemed to take her job completely seriously. And that's what he wants. Bell doesn't have time to waste on people who joke about his services.

He needs to start preparing quickly for when 'they' arrive.

"Eina," he caught her attention.

"Yes?"

"Can you tell me who has the fastest level-up record? And how long did that take?"

His question made Eina narrow her eyes a little.

"No problem, but may I know why?" It was no secret who held the level-up record, but it was still curious that he specifically asked this.

"I'm just curious about it. And maybe use it as inspiration...?" He commented.

Eina thought this question had been asked for a much greater purpose, however, she had no right to ask it. And she might as well just be overthinking it.

"The person who has the fastest leveling record is the Sword Princess of the Loki Family. She was able to level up in just one year."

Bell seemed to be thinking a little.

"...I see, 1 year, huh..." He muttered.

Eina actually found it cute the way he was standing, hands on his chin, looking up, like he was deep in thought. She actually found him similar to a rabbit, however, something screamed in his mind, she shouldn't under any circumstances say that to his face.

"Right," he seemed to finish thinking. "I'm already leaving, I'll be back when I join some family. Bye, Eina."

She just nodded at him. He then started to leave.

Suddenly, a girl with pink hair and eyes appeared.

"He was really cute. New adventurer?" She asked.

"Yes, he just registered as an adventurer, but he still doesn't have a family." Eina replied.

Misha Flott. Another Clan employee and she was his friend.

"I see...although he's very cute, he gives off a seasoned adventurer feel."

"Well, on his record he said he had been training since he was 5 years old."

"Oh really?" She asked to confirm, and received a nod from Eina. "In that case he shouldn't have too much trouble in the first few levels of the Dungeon."

"That's no reason for him to be careless," said Eina in a voice Misha knew all too well.

"Right, right," said Misha. "He asked you to be his counselor, right?"

"How do you know that? Did you hear?"

"No, it's just a hunch. That boy seemed to choose you for a special reason, and I bet it's because of the fact that you're very serious about your work. Your eyes show it, and I'm sure he's noticed that too. With you as his advisor, and the experience he has, he shouldn't have any problems in the Dungeon."

Eina just listened to everything with big eyes. She didn't expect her lazy friend to say those words to her.

'Did he really notice that I take my job seriously just by looking at me...?' Eina thought.

She then started looking towards the door, where Bell had left.

...

...

...

Bell finds himself walking the streets of Orario. He was looking to join for a family.

The Freya family was out of the question for obvious reasons.

After having asked a man for information, he started to go to a specific place. After walking for a few minutes, Bell quickly found himself at the gates of the grand Twilight Mansion. He saw a white-haired wild man and went to him.

"Hello? I'd like to join the Loki family." The white haired Werewolf man with a tattoo(?) on his cheek just stared at him for awhile before opening his mouth.

"What the hell? Get out of here boy, this family doesn't accept weak people, especially those who look like a rabbit!" He replied rudely.

Bell was really offended and irritated by this. Bunny face!? This guy is really looking for a fight...

And besides, weak!? He didn't even see his fighting skills, how the fuck did he assume Bell is weak!? This is the kind of arrogant guy who if thrown into a war will die stupidly...

"Very well, I'm not in the mood to enter a family with an idiot who hasn't even met the person or his fighting skills might assume he's weak."

Bell started to leave after answering, and the Werewolf was annoyed by it.

"What the hell!? What did you mean by that, you little shit!?" Bell heard the Werewolf scream.

"Exactly what I meant, dog. If your family has more people like you, I sure as hell don't want to go in. Now, if you'll excuse me..." Bell started to leave. He could hear the curses the dog was yelling at him.

Bell started walking around town looking for a family, but everyone refused him for the same reason that shit dog. With what concept did they call him weak? The way he looked... he was starting to question whether he should really fight for this city in the future...

After walking for a while without any results, his stomach started to growl and he started looking for food. It was at that moment that Bell saw her. A pretty, petite girl with a youthful appearance. She has blue eyes and black hair tied in twin tails that reach her mid-thighs. Her usual attire is a white mini dress with a blue ribbon around her neck and one tied under her breasts around her arms and a pair of white gloves.

Bell quickly walked over to her.

When the girl looked at him, she made a surprised face. The reason for the surprise was the various 'spirits' flying close to the boy. Bell noticed this. She was looking at 'them' so she must be a Goddess. But why was a Goddess working in a stall selling food?

They started talking quickly. After they talked, she quickly told him that she was a Goddess and that no one wanted to join her family. At that moment an idea crossed Bell's mind.

"So how about I join your family?"

"Heeeh? Really? You're not playing a prank on me, are you?" She quickly started asking questions while looking at him suspiciously.

Bell actually found her cute while making that face. He laughed as he said:

"No, I'm serious. In fact, no family has accepted me either, so I guess we're in the same boat, aren't you?"

"Seriously?" She widened her eyes, seeming not to believe what he said.

"Yeah, so do you want to have your first member or not?"

"Of course I want!" she screamed. "We will!" She grabbed his arms and started to drag him.

Bell didn't fight it.

He saw the genuine smile of the 'poor' Goddess as she finally had the first member of her family. At this point, Bell was grateful that people had rejected him. And that's when a thought crossed his mind.

Nobody wanted to be from this 'poor' goddess's family, and nobody wanted him in their family because of his 'appearance' which seemed to be weak. That's why he made a decision. Initially, he didn't plan anything like that, after all, he needed to prepare for when 'they' arrived, but...

He would make this Goddess's family the greatest of all.

He would make everyone who mocked her and him shut up.

And that was within the range of your actual plan, so no problem.

They arrived at an Abandoned Church, and the Goddess looked embarrassed and apologized for the shoddy rooms. Bell, however, didn't care and just said that people must start somewhere. The goddess who introduced herself as Hestia was very impressed by the maturity of the 14-year-old boy. His body was a little muscular, not at all over the top like some people who just seek strength and forget about other areas. Bell was perfectly balanced.

When Hestia gave her Falna to him, she was quite surprised. All stats were at almost 500 points, except for his magic, which was ridiculous. Hestia has never seen numbers this high before. But it was strange that he didn't have any 'spells' yet.

He had something called: Thunder Manipulation(?)

But the strangest fact was that next to his race that showed he was human had a question mark. She didn't understand what that meant.

Bell said he was trained by his aunt since he was 6 years old. He didn't tell her or her grandfather's name, after all, he decided it wasn't time to reveal that to Hestia yet. His aunt also forced him to learn about the monsters from the early floors of the Dungeon. Bell even learned about his weaknesses and even weaknesses that not many people knew were discovered by him, only after he was given a description of the monsters.

After Bell finished receiving his Falna, he left for the Guild to register his family. It was late, so Bell would start venturing into the Dungeon tomorrow.

xXx

Inside the Dungeon, we can see a white-haired, red-eyed boy running with a cut on his cheek, which was bleeding as he ran. Now, you might wonder why he's running, right? A Minotaur. He was running from a fucking Minotaur!

However, this Minotaur is by no means normal. After all, he himself is sure he could fight one if he were normal.

Whoever was behind the Dungeon was making fun of him. Every damn time he was alone in the dungeon, with no other adventurers around, the monsters that spawned from the walls of the Dungeon were all anomalies. All were once or twice as strong as their original versions.

It had been about 2 weeks since Bell had joined the Hestia family.

And now he's running from a damn Minotaur that he measured as an intermediate level three. Of course he'd tried to face the Minotaur before, but of course the Minotaur would also be a goddamn anomaly... whoever was behind the Dungeon he better pray that Bell doesn't find him...

Even though Bell was trained for many years he was still a level 1. There was no way to fight a monster that could fight a level 3 adventurer.

Bell also thought that the Guild was trying to kill the budding adventurers. How can they give a dagger that breaks as soon as it makes contact with the Minotaur's skin!? Of course, he wasn't expected to fight a Minotaur on floor 7, but even so... can't they give a better weapon for beginning adventurers?

And then there was the fact that the Minotaur was using a big fucking machete as a weapon!

Bell studied with Eina about the monsters in the upper floors Dungeon. She was surprised when she saw her stats at nearly 500 points across all stats. She allowed him to go up to the 8th floor until he got used to the dungeon. And Bell was completely right when he assumed Eina took her job seriously. She would make a point of saying how dangerous it was to venture into the Dungeon.

And she always said, "Adventurers shouldn't venture into the Dungeon."

Bell disagreed with that, after all, if they didn't venture out how would they get stronger?

Back to the main subject, according to Eina, the Minotaurs should only be found from the 15th floor. But that doesn't change the fact that there was one on the 7th floor.

And that meant he went down from there to here...

'Who were the idiots who let a Minotaur escape the middle floors!?' It was the only logical conclusion Bell reached.

These people are not responsible!

If Bell were an untrained beginner he would be 100% dead.

Bell couldn't keep running forever. At some point he would have no way out, and even if he managed to run, he couldn't let a novice adventurer come face to face with this Minotaur. The Minotaur was getting close, Bell could feel it.

There's only one way out...

'I think it's finally time to see if this works, huh...' he thought looking at his hands.

He hadn't been able to summon anyone in those 9 years. Bell tried to study these 'seals' but was not very successful. He didn't know what he was doing wrong.

But he knows... that if he can't 'activate' the 'seals' here, then he's definitely fucked. Bell really hoped the idiots who let the Minotaur escape were coming quickly in case he didn't make it.

And Bell had no way of knowing he was right, the person was arriving, but she was a few minutes late.

Hearing the Minotaur's roar approaching, Bell then placed his hand with the numbers 1-5 on the ground and screamed.

"Summoning Technique!"

Initially nothing happened for a few seconds, Bell really started to think he was screwed, and then the blood from his cheek dripped onto his right hand which was on the floor, and then Bell felt his hand burn. Numbers 2 and 5 have changed from the usual black color to a bright white color. And soon after... a large smoke appeared, with two silhouettes visible inside it.

...

...

The Minotaur found itself running after its prey. As he ran, he finally found the person he was chasing. A boy with white hair and red eyes that looked like a rabbit, standing a little in front of him. Just as the Minotaur was about to start running after him, an excited voice was heard throughout the dungeon floor.

"Hey sir Minotaur! Haven't you seen my bear, Tibbers around?" The little girl with pink hair who looks like she is 5 to 7 years old asked the Minotaur. Did she really call the Minotaur... sir?

The 'sir' looked down on the left side, and soon saw the little girl smiling at him. The Minotaur looked... confused? It stayed that way for a few seconds before he roared and readied his machete to cut the little girl.

But before he could do that...

An arrow flew at great speed and pierced the Minotaur's chest.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!" The Minotaur roared in pain and staggered back a little.

After a few seconds, the Minotaur quickly used his free hand and prepared to withdraw the arrow that had pierced his chest, he let out a grunt of pain as he withdrew the arrow. However, the Minotaur soon realized that the arrow was not common. The arrow was icy and white with a bluish tint... ice. An arrow made of... ice? Was an ice arrow able to pierce your skin?

When the Minotaur looked in the direction of the white haired boy, he realized that he was no longer alone.

Beside him was a beautiful girl with long silver hair. Her blue and gold hood, cape, battle skirt and shirt, everything about this girl screamed...cold. Not the emotion, but the literal feeling. Bell didn't seem to be affected by the coldness around him.

What gave her away the most was the arc of solid ice in her hands exuding a coldness that was visible to the eyes.

The Minotaur got angry and prepared to attack them, however, the voice of the white haired boy spoke.

"Go... Annie," Bell ordered.

The smile on the girl's face seemed to darken as she spoke:

"Game time! sir Minotaur, look here!" Annie said happily. When the Minotaur looked at the girl...

Fire.

A huge fireball shot from the little girl's hands and went straight in the Minotaur's face.

"GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" The Minotaur again staggered back as he placed his hand on its head.

Bell just looked at it all. He could feel... something. He could...understand. Their skills, their names, their... everything. He could feel it all flowing into his mind. Like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, they... completed his being. He knew why, after all, they were from Runeterra.

The same place your father came from.

The Minotaur seemed to have recovered and was ready to cut the girl, he prepared his machete, but at that moment, the Minotaur felt a large presence behind him. And at the same time, the little girl spoke again.

"Yay Tibbers! I found you!" Annie squealed with joy as the Minotaur felt a large shadow hover over him.

Looking up, he saw a flaming teddy bear taller than himself. The monstrous toy punched the Minotaur, sending him flying into the dungeon wall.

The Minotaur stood up, with his free hand on his belly where he was feeling a burn. It was the same spot where that teddy bear punched him. Annoyed, the Minotaur raised his machete and started running towards the flaming teddy bear with a great roar.

"Tibbers, teach the sir Minotaur good manners!"

A fight between Minotaur and Tibbers began. The Minotaur tried to rip the teddy bear apart with his machete, but it was useless. In fact, it seemed to be a lot harder than it looks...

Every punch the Minotaur received from Tibbers was like receiving a very strong burn. And the Minotaur was definitely feeling those burns.

"That's actually interesting," remarked Bell, to no one in particular, but Ashe, who was on his side, overheard.

She was looking at her Summoner curiously. She received his memories, and he seemed to be very talented since he was young. She thought they were similar in that particular aspect.

After a while, the Minotaur was sent flying back to the Dungeon wall. He couldn't defeat Tibbers.

"Annie, that's enough," Bell said.

The little girl just looked at him and said. "Right! Tibbers, that's enough, come!" Just as she ordered, the teddy bear started walking towards her, and soon after, it started to shrink down to the size of a small teddy bear. Annie quickly grabbed the teddy bear with both arms and hugged him. She looked at the Minotaur and then spoke. "Beaten by a little girl. Hehehehe." She started walking towards Ashe and Bell.

The Minotaur started to get up with difficulty.

"Ashe," Bell called out suddenly. Ashe looked in her direction and saw that he had both his hands open next to her. She quickly understood what he wanted, and then, a coldness was exhaled in the air, and soon after, two frozen ice arrows were created. She handed the ice arrows to Bell.

Bell started to run towards the Minotaur.

The Minotaur managed to get up and looked around. He soon realized that the big bear he was fighting against gone. The little pink haired girl had a small teddy bear in her hands. It was at that moment that he saw the white haired boy running towards him with two ice arrows in his hands.

'Those ice arrows are not normal... ' thought Bell as he ran. 'They were able to pierce the skin of a level 3 monster with ease.'

The Minotaur braced himself and raised his machete. His entire body was bruised from the burns Tibbers had applied.

Bell approached the Minotaur. At that moment, the Minotaur raised his machete and attacked vertically. Bell dodged at the last moment, he started to see everything in slow motion. At that moment, he pierced the Minotaur's elbow with the ice arrow, causing him to scream in pain and then drop his weapon. But it didn't stop there, Bell quickly advanced faster, taking advantage of the Minotaur's moment of pain, Bell stuck the other ice arrow in the Minotaur's left eye. At that moment, the Minotaur used his only free hand and punched Bell, sending him flying into the dungeon wall.

A great crash was heard.

"Summoner!" Ashe's voice came out sounding a little worried.

"I am fine!" Bell yelled back as he started to get up with some difficulty.

"What fucking monstrous strength is this..." Bell muttered as he finished getting up.

At that moment, he noticed the big difference in levels. The Minotaur never managed to reach them, but if he did, it would surely hurt. It was lucky the monster was without his weapon...

Bell looked to the side and saw Ashe and Annie together looking at him.

'Not even she can't take a punch from that thing...' Bell thought.

"GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" The rugido of Minotauro was heard.

Bell saw the state of the Minotaur. The arrow in his left eye was gone, signs that he had pulled the arrow out of his eye, and his right arm, which he used to wield the machete, was completely destroyed. It was safe to assume his left eye and right arm were useless now.

"It's time to get this over with," Bell said before looking in Ashe and Annie's direction. "Ashe!" He screamed. She nodded and quickly made two new ice arrows. The Minotaur was starting to move. Ashe threw both arrows towards Bell, he caught the arrows perfectly as he turned to face the Minotaur.

Bell starts running towards the Minotaur, fully ready to take him down completely. Some people might think that Bell acted cowardly, using Ashe and Annie's help. In another timeline, perhaps, he preferred to fight the Minotaur alone to use as a way to level up, or something.

But here?

He couldn't care less about it. In battles for survival, as well as wars, there is no such thing as playing fair. You have to be prepared for anything unexpected that might happen on the battlefield. An error. A single mistake is enough for a mighty warrior to die at the hands of a random character.

When Bell got close, the Minotaur tried to punch him with his one good hand, Bell quickly dodged as he tried to get closer, however, the Minotaur used his right leg to kick him away. Bell quickly pulled himself together and lunged forward again, a battle cry escaping his lips, determined to end this once and for all. The Minotaur also gave its last roar in response to Bell's determined cry.

Bell advanced with both hands, which contained the ice arrows, backwards, meanwhile the Minotaur just waited, after all, he was completely finished, he couldn't move properly. When Bell again came close, the Minotaur kicked him in the belly with his left leg, however, Bell held on with his arms, preventing him from being sent flying.

At that moment, Bell quickly used momentum as soon as his legs hit the ground, and shot forward. The Minotaur tried to punch him with his left arm, but he managed to avoid it by taking a big leap. Bell opened both hands wide, and when he was level with the Minotaur's head, Bell drove both arrows into either side of the Minotaur's neck. For a short while, it was as if time was moving slowly, and Bell came face to face with the Minotaur. He could see the monster's only good eye glowering at him, while the useless eye was bleeding.

Bell felt a strange feeling that this would not be the last time he would see this monster.

His body began to disappear into thousands of particles, and all that was left on the ground was his 'rock'. Bell quickly walked over to the 'stone' and stuffed it into a small bag he was using to collect the 'stones' from the monsters.

Bell started walking towards his 'summons'. As he was getting closer, Ashe started talking.

"A wonderful fight, Summoner." The bow she held disappeared.

"I wouldn't say that," he began as he joined them. "I took a good beating, if it wasn't for you guys I probably would have died."

"Don't say that," Ashe disagreed. "Even I wouldn't be able to take a punch from that 'monster', and then get up right away like you. We did help you, but that doesn't take away your credit. You'll become a splendid warrior."

Annie just nodded excitedly several times. It seems she agrees with Ashe.

"The Queen of the Freljord herself praising me like that, I'm completely embarrassed by this," Bell joked.

"What can I do, I'm a humble Queen," Ashe puffed out her chest with a smile.

"I would like to visit the lowly Queen's lands someday, if she allows it, of course," he said, lowering his head.

Ashe looked at him a little blankly. It was obvious that he was acting this way on purpose, but the intention to visit his lands seemed to be genuine. She cracked a smile as she began to speak.

"Freljord will gladly accept you, Summoner. That is if you can handle a little cold, of course," she mentioned the last part with a smirk.

He snorted. "Please, it takes more than a little breeze to stop me," he commented confidently.

However, what was this chill down his spine he was feeling?

"Hmm, that we'll see when the time comes. But, we need to go, I have my people to take care of."

Annie nodded, though Bell and Ashe looked at this oddly.

"Before I go, let me thank you again. Thank you so much, Ashe, Annie. Without you I would really be in a bad spot." Bell said bowing a little.

"No problem, Summoner. Feel free to call me if you need help. If I'm not busy, of course." As soon as she said that, Ashe bowed and her body started to disappear.

Bell quickly felt his feet being grabbed, looking down he saw Annie looking at him with a smile as she held Tibbers.

"Bye, Summoner!" she said excitedly.

"Bye Annie," Bell smiled as he had his hand in her hair. She showed a bigger smile and started to fade.

Bell sighed and glanced at his right hand. Unlike before, the numbers 2 and 5 were a bright white color, unlike the others that were still black. Bell was starting to understand this summoning thing.

He received the memory of the people he summoned, and he was sure it was the same with the people he summoned. When he mentioned that he wanted to visit the Freljord, Ashe easily accepted.

Bell started to leave the dungeon.

"Queen of the Freljord... Dark Child, huh..." he muttered, and then gave a wild smile.

It looks like Bell's life was going to get a lot more interesting from now on.

As he set off to leave the Dungeon, Bell didn't notice the wide golden eyes watching him, not believing what he had seen.

In a great castle, in the icy lands of the Freljord, Ashe was seated at a large table along with her 'executives'.

"Queen, we've lost another 'site' to Sejuani's Army." One of them spoke.

Ashe sighed at that. They missed another location. Even though she was only 16 years old, she became the queen of the Freljord. However, she still didn't have a King. They kept pushing this on her, and she knows it won't be long before they get into that topic again. Now, Sejuani... that sow was taking her territories.

What was she doing wrong?

Why were they doing this when she hadn't done anything wrong to them? She hadn't attacked Sejuani's army, and never sought a fight against her. Then why? Was it possible that it was because of 'that?'

No matter how much she looked, she couldn't find the right answer to that.

"Queen, with all due respect, I really think it's time for you to choose a King. You may be young, but you already have a lot of responsibilities. I highly recommend Tryndamere. He's a barbaric warrior, and I think that's what what is missing for us," said one Executive. The others nodded in agreement with his words.

Ash sighed. 'It was taking too long.' "I've already said that we don't need a King right now. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to prepare the measures for the territory Sejuani took. This meeting is closed." Ashe said wearily, but one of the Executives quickly spoke up.

"Queen, with all due respect, but what measures are you going to take? Are you going to try to settle things peacefully again? This won't work, my queen! They don't want to settle things peacefully!"

"That's enough," Ashe's voice stopped him. "I'll work it out. Now, you're dismissed." She said as she left the meeting room and went to her room.

Finding herself in her room, Ashe looked out the window and watched the snow slowly fall. Her people were right, she needed a King. But she didn't want to marry that barbarian.

When he thought of a suitable King, his mind turned to his Summoner. The boy with white hair just like hers. He had summoned her along with the Dark Child, to help him fight that 'Minotaur'. And when he summoned her, his memories entered her head.

She couldn't help but notice how smart he was. Aiming at one of the monster's eyes with one arrow, while using the other to manage to disable the Minotaur from using his weapon... the way he dealt with it. Your Summoner has aspects of a good commander.

Aspects of a King.

She shook her head and pushed those thoughts out of her mind.

When she was young, Ashe wanted to become a leader like her mother, Grena. But as the measure grew a little, she realized that this was not what she really wanted.

Everyone thought she would follow in her mother's footsteps and be the next leader of the tribe and they had high expectations. The heavy responsibility of her warrior lineage and her extraordinary gifts only made her feel isolated, burdened and alone.

Their only moment of tranquility was when Sejuani, an iceborn girl from a sister tribe, stayed with them for their summer hunts on the Rocks of Ornnkaal. The girls' friendship marked their childhood, but was interrupted when they reached adolescence. Somehow, Grena offended Sejuani's grandmother and the friendship between the two tribes was broken.

Her mind suddenly went to when she found her magic bow of true ice...

Everything she had done...

She sighed as she prepared to sleep.

Ashe really wanted her and Sejuani to still be friends. It would be much easier to unite the Freljord that way. But that doesn't change the fact that she is sure to unite the Freljord.

This is your dream.

Maybe with his help...

As she was about to fall asleep, Ashe remembered the night many years ago, the moment when she felt that her future life would change drastically. Whether it was for bad or better, she didn't know.

She felt the same way when he summoned her...

Maybe she needed to talk to Anivia about it.

One thing was certain.

His life was going to get a lot more hectic from now on.

Thinking this, she fell asleep.

In an unknown location, a large man, in full armor, with a large ax beside his chair, was reading some papers when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in. And it better be important, otherwise you're dead," he replied coldly. The man walked through the door a little tensely.

"Henryk introducing himself, Lord Darius." The man said as respectfully as possible.

"Get to the point before I cut your head off for wasting my time."

"Lord Swain asked me to deliver this to you," Henryk handed documents to Darius.

Darius raised his eyebrows at the sound of Swain's name...

He started to read the documents, and a while later, let out a sinister laugh, startling the man in front of him.

"Hahahahaha! Your name is Henryk, right?" He looked happier than before. It didn't even look like he was ready to cut off Henryk's head at any moment.

"Y-yes sir!"

"Very well, Henryk. You did a good job, I'll be counting on you from now on, you're dismissed."

Henryk looked confused, but he just nodded and quickly left the room. He'd better enjoy it while Lord Darius was still in a good mood. As he was leaving, he could hear Lord Darius' laughter.

Darius sat back in the chair with a creepy smile.

"Maybe I should call Draven? No, he must be having fun in the Arena right now." Darius muttered.

Noxus was preparing to invade Ionia once more, and they still will. But maybe they take a little longer than expected...

Darius then looked at the document on his desk. He didn't know how Swain got that information, but it didn't matter.

In the end...

He again showed a scary smile, but this one was much bigger than the previous ones.

He looked at the contents of the document.

Recommend LOL girls for Bell's harem, preferably unusual women. But nothing will happen anytime soon in the story, I want to develop the characters and the story first.
