Peter froze for a second.

"What is it?" he asked.

She was on her way back to work when she was hit by a car causing her to have another heart attack."

Peter felt tears going down.

"She died, didn't she?" he said.

"I'm so sorry."

Peter said nothing for a minute.

"I'll be there soon." he said.

"OK."

Then they hung up.

"What's wrong?" Bruce asked.

"May was hit by a car and had a heart attack." Peter said and looked for something. "Thank god it's night time." he said and took out his webs. "Let's go." he said and a not so surprised Bruce knew what he was talking about.

"Alright." he said and held onto Peter who shot at a tree and headed to the hospital.

When they got there they slid down a tree and Peter put his webs back in his backpack.

"I may not be Spider-Man anymore, but hell only knows what will happen." he said and they headed to May.

When they got to her room Peter sat down and held her hand.

"What am I gonna do?" he said. "You're the only person I had left."

Bruce didn't know what to do so just walked over to him and put a hand on his shoulder.

"We'll think of something." he said.

They stayed quietly for a while.

"What am I gonna do Dr. Banner?" Peter asked fighting tears while he looked at him.

"I don't know Peter." Bruce said and gave him a hug. "Just let it out. You've held enough in you since the day you become him." he said. "And now you're not."

Peter looked at him then finally let it out.

Losing his parents, his uncle, his aunt, what everyone thought of him when he was Spider-Man, the day Tony made him stop and when Ned and MJ left him.

He cried for an hour and Bruce didn't move.

When he calmed down he looked at Bruce who smiled.

"I'm sorry Dr. Banner." Peter said and let go.

"Don't be. And call me Bruce." Bruce said smiling.

Peter nodded and looked at May for a minute then Bruce.

"Can we go home?" he asked.

Bruce nodded.

Then Peter got up, gave May a kiss and looked at her for a minute.

"Thanks for all the help you gave me and taking care of me." he said and left.

When they left they headed to Peter's apartment by the train.

When they got to his apartment Peter took out his key and opened the door.

Then he put it down and they went to the living room and sat down.

"Do you have any relatives we can call?" Bruce asked and Peter shook his head.

"No. My parents were murdered, my grandparents died, my uncle Ben was shot by a gun last year. It was about two days after the spider accident happened three years ago." he said and Bruce looked at him. "So, being a legal adult I can live here but by myself." he said. "If they were still here I'd offer Ned and or MJ to live here but they're gone until summer or they decided to live there." he said. "I'll have to get a job for food, rent, heat, water and all that stuff."

Bruce put his hands on Peter's shoulders.

"Calm down. I can talk to Tony and ask him to help you like he is doing for school." he said getting Peter to calm down and nod. "I can call him now or tell him when I get home."

"Can you call him now and I'll take a shower to calm down?"

Bruce smiled and nodded.

"Sure. Go take a nice warm shower to calm down and maybe take a walk after."

Peter nodded and headed to the shower.

When he was gone Bruce hit Tony's number and waited.

"Hello?" Tony said.

"Hey."

"What's up? How's the kid doing?"

"At first he was fine and when we were done he decided to go to MIT to study one of the things I studied and filled the application. Then on our way back to his house his phone rang and found out his aunt was hit by a car along with another heart attack. She died which means he lives by himself, doesn't have a job, Ned and MJ are on the other side of the country, no living relatives, so is now flying solo. He said he has to get a job but doesn't know how to get a job and be at school at the same time."

"Oh my god."

"Can you help him like you're doing for school?" Bruce asked. "Add it for the apology you keep saying you'd do anything for him to accept?"

"Of course I will!"

"OK. He's in the shower and doesn't want to talk to you still so I told him to take a shower to calm down and I'd call you."

"Alright. Just ask him to give me his rent, his other bills and things like that." Tony said and thought of something. "Does he have a card, his license and a car?"

"I don't think so. He uses the train places."

"Ask him for me when he comes out please?"

"Will do."

"OK. Tell him to give me a list of the bills he pays, his rent and stuff like that."

"OK. See you later."

"Bye."

Then they hung up.

A few minutes later Peter came out of the shower and headed to the kitchen.

"That help?" Bruce asked and Peter nodded. "Good. So, Tony said he'll help you and needs to know what your bills cost, how much your rent is, if you have a card, your license and a car." he said. "I told him you usually use a train but he still wants to know."

Peter nodded then went to the top of the fridge.

"May leaves the amount she wrote to see if it's more, less or the same." he said and handed him the list. "Then the rent is $2,895 because we live together. If it was a one person it'd be 2,426."

Bruce nodded and took the files and wrote down the amount for each rent.

"Alright. I'll give these to Tony when I get home. He'll probably had money to your bank account to."

Peter nodded.

"OK." he said.

"You need anything while I'm gone?"

"No. We just went grocery shopping yesterday and I can cook fine."

Bruce nodded and left.

When he shut the door Peter sat down, saw Ned and MJ were done with class so grabbed his laptop and called them.

A few minutes later they were both there.

"Hey Peter! What's up?" Ned said smiling. "I heard you saved them yesterday."

"Hey loser." MJ said smiling.

Then they noticed the look on his face and red eyes.

"What's wrong?"

"She's gone." Peter said. "Aunt May."

They sat there in shock.

"What happened?" Ned asked.

"I was with Dr. Banner all afternoon and after the experiment I was doing he said since Tony fired me I could go to college."

"Did you apply to one?" MJ asked.

"Yeah. He said as an apology Tony would pay for it."

"Cool. Now, continue."

"She was in a car accident and had a heart attack after. When we were on our way to my place I got a call so I took out my web and since it's night here it was easier. When we got to the hospital we went and saw her. I cried so hard after he told me to let it out. He stayed with me though."

"Oh my god!" Ned and MJ said.

"Are you OK?" Ned asked.

"No. She's all I have left!" Peter said.

"What are you gonna do?" MJ asked.

"Dr. Banner called Tony while I took a shower to calm down and Tony said he'll take care of it. The bills, the rent, school, stuff like that." he said. "He said he might get me a debit card to and put money in the bank so I can take care of groceries and simple stuff like that."

They nodded.

"That's another part of apology he's doing I'm guessing?" Ned said.

"Yup."

"Are you ever gonna accept it?" MJ asked.

Peter sat there quietly for a few minutes.

"I don't know." he said. "But for now I'm accepting the help he wants to give me." he said and they nodded. "So, since we're FaceTiming, need some help with anything?"

That got them all to laugh and Peter smile.

Then he started helping them a little.
