It had been two months and Peter was at MIT.

As they all thought he was easily accepted.

Ned and MJ are happy for him.

He was top of his year like the rest of his school years.

His professors were shocked but made them think about Tony and Bruce.

Bruce would help him now and then but he was usually fine.

Sure enough it had been two years and as they thought Peter was graduating with this PhD as planned.

Bruce would come help and check on him now and then and Tony still helped him with money.

Even though he's an Avenger Bruce had come up with the idea of Peter working with him at his old house. He wouldn't have to go anywhere close to Avenger Tower unless he wants to.

"Peter Parker." the principal said and Peter got up smiling. "Here you are Peter. I really shouldn't be surprised since you've gotten offered to college a between Tony Stark and Bruce Banner." he said and chuckled while Peter turned a little red. "Then working as Tony's intern." he said shaking his head and smiling.

"Yea, that day was a shock but wasn't at the same time." Peter said.

"So what are you doing next? Back to Tony?"

"No actually, Dr. Banner had offered me working with him because I want to study the same thing he does. I'd either work with Tony or Dr. Banner."

"It's true." Bruce said smiling. "And I'm looking forward to this."

Peter looked at him seeing the others.

"Wait, are you all here?" the principal asked.

"Yes." Bruce said. "After working with all of us now and then we wanted to watch him grow up." he said while Peter ignored the others and just looked at Bruce and smiled a little.

"Do just like him because he's an Avenger and the Hulk?" someone from his school years together asked.

Peter glared at him.

"I like him because even though he is those two, he's still a normal human person. He's been my science hero since I found out about him and how smart he is. Ever since then I wanted to be like him. Treat him like a normal person." he said.

Bruce smiled touched at what he said.

"Thank you Peter. Only you, Ned, MJ, the other people on the team and I think that's about it care about what I started out as." Bruce said smiling and Peter smiled back.

Then he nodded, went down and headed home with Ned, MJ and Bruce coming.

He let Bruce there but not the others.

Later Peter was talking to Bruce.

"OK, you can have summer off if you want and then start with me or you can start right away. Your choice." Bruce said.

"I'm gonna take summer off so I can hang out with Ned and MJ." Peter said smiling and Bruce nodded.

"Alright. With you being done and them still having at least two years left I can give you summer until they get back. Unless you want to come anytime."

Peter smiled.

"Thank you Dr. Banner.

Bruce chuckled.

"I keep telling you, you can call me Bruce." he said.

"Right, just a habit."

Bruce smiled and left.

The next day Peter, Ned and MJ were having some lunch.

"So, you're working with Dr. Bruce Banner?" Ned said and Peter nodded.

Peter smiled and nodded.

"Yup!" he said.

"Wow." Ned said.

While they were on summer break Peter was excited being able to work with Bruce.

Sure enough it was the first day of school and first day of work.

"Alright, you ready to start working with me?" Bruce asked smiling.

"Yup!" Peter said smiling.

"Then let's get to work!"

Then, for the first time Peter was working with Dr. Bruce Banner for real.

While he worked with him all day he was happy and enjoying it.

Sure enough he was done for the day.

"Alright, that's good for the day." Bruce said smiling. "Nice job and I'll see you tomorrow."

"Ok. See you tomorrow." Peter said.

Then they heard something, something Peter remembered and was confused.

"Who is that?" Bruce asked.

"Vulture." Peter said. "My first true personal enemy." Peter said. "So you need to call the others for this. I'm useless without my suit."

Bruce was worried but nodded and did as told.

Then Vulture saw Peter.

"There you are!" he said and aimed a shot at him.

"Whoa!" Peter said and jumped landing on his feet.

"Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man."

Peter stood there looking at him.

"How did you get out?" he asked.

Meanwhile Bruce was waiting for an answer.

"Hey Bruce. What's up? Did the kid do good?" Tony said.

"You and the others need to get here at my house now." Bruce said.

"What? Why? He hates us all!"

"Vulture is back and Peter's trying to fight him." Bruce said watching him and winced.

"OH MY GOD!" Tony said. "We'll be right there!"

"OK."

Then they hung up and Bruce was about to unlock Hulk but Peter stopped him.

"Don't! Not yet." Peter said and punched Vulture.

Bruce nodded and waited for the others watching Peter try and fight.

Then he saw Peter go flying and wince.

"Yup. There goes a broken hip." he said and held onto it for a second.

A few minutes later the others were watching him to fight as a normal person and saw him wince holding his rib for a second.

"Did I hurt you too much to fight as Peter Parker?" Vulture asked smirking.

Peter growled at him.

Then he saw a bow going at Vulture.

"Huh?" Peter said and saw the Avengers smirking.

"We got your back kid." Tony said but Peter did not.

Then he saw Tony toss him something and he caught it.

"What?" Peter said and looked at it to see his Spider-Man suit. "Why?" he asked looking at them all.

"You're gonna need it to fight one of your first true enemies." Tony said. "I played around with it a little to make it stronger and easier for you to put it on like me."

Peter looked at it then heard something so turned and saw a shot aiming at Bruce.

"No!" Peter yelled, jumped and kicked it getting it to hit a wall and fall on him.

"PETER!" everyone yelled while Vulture laughed.

Tony stood there feeling more guilty than ever.

"What have I done?" he whispered.

Suddenly they saw something red coming out of the rocks and backed up.

Then they saw another red thing and started to realize what it is.

"Peter?" they whispered to see him punch a rock hard on another rock.

Then he got up and aimed at Vulture.

"Whoa!" Vulture said and went flying.

Peter smirked even though they couldn't see it.

Then he aimed a web at a tree getting him to jump and get Vultures flying again.

"How did you get out?" Peter asked.

"I have ways."

Then Peter started fighting him and the Avengers watched getting ready to help if he needs it.

They were surprised he still had it in him.

After not fighting in almost three years they were still worried he was rusty.

Then they saw him jump and aim another shot at him getting him to be trapped at the tree and kicked his board away.

"What do you want with me?!" Peter asked. "If you weren't here I wouldn't and have had to save them and miss the dance because I'm usually just getting people away from fires, mugged, bank break in and simple stuff like that even though I'm twenty!" Peter said and got him again.

Vulture said nothing and Peter called the police.

A few minutes later police officers were there take Vulture from there.

"Thank you Spider-Man, it hasn't been the same with you gone." an officer said and Peter nodded.

When they were gone Peter switched back into Peter Parker and handed it back to Tony.

"There. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm on my way to the train station and head home." Peter said and left.
