The next day Peter was having breakfast listening to the news.

Meanwhile the Avengers were having breakfast watching the news.

"Last, for the first time in almost three years Spider-Man has come back and saved the Avengers. Dr. Bruce Banner said that he had just sent his intern Peter Parker home after work and found Vulture waiting for them. Peter was able to get away while Dr. Banner called the other Avengers. While he waited Spider-Man came and is the one fighting him because he was his first true enemy. "We're all impressed and proud of what he's become from the beginning to the day he left and when he saved us himself." Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man said. Even after the way just about all of us treated him Spider-Man still tried to protect us. So we just want to say, thank you Spider-Man. And we wish you'd be back."

They sat there quietly thinking about what he had been through over the years and the day Tony pretty much fired him.

Peter was sitting there quietly thinking about all the times he saved them since he was fifteen and ended his childhood.

Tony had fixed up the screen so they didn't find out who Spider-Man truly is.

Then he sighed and covered his face in his hands.

"What the hell am I gonna do?" he said.

A few minutes later there was a knock on the door.

He got up and opened the door to freeze seeing Tony.

"Hey kid." Tony said.

Peter said nothing and stood there quietly looking at him.

"What do you want?" he asked.

"To give you this." Tony said and handed him the suit.

"What?" he said and looked at it then Tony.

"After saving us all from Vulture yesterday, you deserve to be the hero again. They need you here at Queen."

Peter stood there quietly knowing he was right.

"I'm sure being an Avenger himself Bruce will understand when you need to leave and such. Then if it needs help or an upgrade you can do it yourself, leave for me or we can do it together like old times."

Peter stood there quietly thinking about May being surprised but after adapting proud of him.

Then he saw what Ben said to him a few days after getting bit.

'With great power, comes great responsibility.'

He looked at Tony and nodded.

"Fine. I'll take care of Queen like the beginning and if you need help I'll help you but still not treating you like I used to. With great power, comes great responsibility. That's what my uncle Ben said a few days after I became Spider-Man. I don't remember what exactly happened before that started though." he said. "I'll start tomorrow so I can get this through my head."

Tony nodded.

"I'll tell Bruce you agreed." he said and Peter nodded. "Along with the bills and stuff." he said then left.

Peter shut the door, went to his room and thought.

"I hope I'm doing the right thing." he muttered and went to bed.

Chapter 6

The next day Peter was getting ready for patrol for the first time in three years.

He stood there looking at the outfit he wears every day.

Then he slowly picked it up and slowly turned into Spider-Man.

He may have put it on the other day but that was only a few minutes.

Then he opened the window, climbed down, aimed at a tree and for the first time in three years, got to work.

While he went around people saw him and most of them cheered happy, relieved and shocked he was back.

He went around and then saw someone mugging someone else.

He aimed at where they were, jumped down and kicked the person doing it.

"Hey, leave her alone." Peter said.

"Spider-Man!" the woman being mugged said.

"Finally after three years you've back?" the mugger said.

Then Peter punched him and aimed a shot of web at him getting him trapped stronger than last time.

"Huh?" he said. "Karen?" he said.

"Yes Peter?" Karen said.

"Did he upgrade everything?"

"Yes. He stayed up late after saving them all the other day."

He nodded and then saw the mugger was still there.

"OK. Let's call the police and then get back to work." he said then called them and gave the woman her purse.

Then Peter got back to work.

Throughout the day he enjoyed himself and realized how much he missed this.

A few hours later he was done until night shift.

When he got home he got changed and grabbed a snack.

Then his phone rang so he picked it up.

"Hello?" he said.

"Dude! We heard you kicked Vulture's ass the other day! And now work as Spider-Man again!" Ned said.

Peter smiled.

"Yeah. Tony gave me back my suit yesterday and upgraded it. A lot."

"Awesome!"

"It felt weird but so good to be back as the hero."

"It must!"

While they talked Peter and Ned added MJ and FaceTimed each other.

Soon it was night patrol and Peter smirked excited like it started.

"Let's go have some fun!" he said and left.
