On the boat, Rita decided to go check on 'Roddy' again. She could easily tell that he was still down below the deck.
"What are you doing?" Rita asked as she jumped below the deck.
"I'm looking for the tiger's eye," replied 'Roddy'.
Rita laughed. "Oh, what a coincidence. I have the tiger's eye right here!"
And to prove it, she showed 'Roddy' the tiger's eye.
"Hand it over!" yelled 'Roddy' as he snatched the gem from Rita before climbing up to the deck.
"Hey!" growled Rita, hopping onto the deck.
She grabbed hold of the tiger's eye and tried to pull it away from 'Roddy', but 'Roddy' wouldn't let go!
"Let. This. Thing. Go!" Rita demanded.
Before 'Roddy' could say anything, a fly flew past. 'Roddy' stared at the fly, licked his lips and shot his tongue out. But it didn't reach the fly.
'Roddy' groaned. "Oh. Right. I'm a rodent."
Rita was now started to become skeptical of 'Roddy'.
"Seriously, Roddy," she asked, "what is going on with you today?!"
"I'll have you know I am totally fine!" 'Roddy' shouted.
Just then, the tiger's eye slipped out of their hands – and landed in the last place Rita wanted it to land.
"Thanks for the tiger's eye… again!" called Spike. "Now get them!"
The five hench rats jumped onto the boat and grabbed Rita. They reached out for 'Roddy', but they had no idea he was actually the Toad!
"No, wait, it's me!" the Toad insisted, but it was no use.
During the trip back to the Toad's lair, Spike and Whitey tied up Rita's hands with chains so she couldn't nab the tiger's eye.
"Oh, the boss will be so happy!" exclaimed Spike.
The Toad was furious. "Your boss is not happy!" he growled.
"Oh really?" asked Whitey. "How can you be so sure?"
"Because I am your boss!" replied the Toad. "You think I'm Millicent Bystander just because I look and sound like him. Somehow I got put in his body and vice versa!"
There was a long pause. Eventually, every hench rat laughed their heads off!
"Good one, Millicent," Spike giggled.
Rita didn't laugh at all.
"Nice try, Roddy," she said. "But I don't think lies are going to get us out of this mess!"
"Who's Roddy?" the Toad asked.
In the floodgates, Roddy was impressed that the hench rats managed to bring Rita as well as the tiger's eye. But his smile disappeared when he saw a rat that looked just like him standing next to Rita. Roddy knew that this was the Toad in his body.
"We're back," Spike called out. "We got the tiger's eye. And we got Rita and her friend like you promised!"
"You!" Roddy yelled at the Toad.
The Toad looked back at himself. "You!" he yelled back.
"Give me back my body!" Roddy and the Toad yelled together.
They charged towards each other and attacked themselves!
Rita, Whitey and Spike were all confused.
"What has gotten into the boss today?" asked Spike.
Roddy managed to call out to Rita: "Rita! It's me, Roddy!"
Rita wasn't convinced.
"Yeah, right," she said. "I'm not falling for another one of your nasty lies!"
Roddy shot his tongue at the Toad and pinned him to a wall before retracting his tongue back into his mouth.
"Rita, you have to listen to me!" Roddy insisted. "I don't know what happened but some accident made me swap brains with the Toad."
Spike and Whitey were confused.
"I don't believe this," Whitey cried. "First Millicent, now the boss!"
Rita was still suspicious. "How do I know you're Roddy?"
The Toad got to his feet and pounced onto himself.
"I'm the one who first found out that your ruby was a fake!" Roddy cried out.
Rita gasped. "Roddy! What happened to you?"
"I'm in the Toad's body and he's in mine!" shouted Roddy.
Immediately, she pounced onto the Toad.
"I know you got put in my friend's body so you could get the tiger's eye," she snarled.
But the Toad just said, "This wasn't on purpose, but now I have the tiger's eye! I just need to find a way back into my body so I could get that gem!"
"Again with the joke?" Spike whispered.
"You better give the tiger eye and my friend's body back!" Rita demanded.
"Yeah!" shouted Roddy.
But then, Whitey saw the Portable Mind Swapper.
"Hey! That's mine!" he growled.
He grabbed the device and soon, Whitey and Roddy got into a tug of war fight between the device. They pulled so hard, the gadget flew up in the air and landed on its button. Two lightning bolts shot out. One of them was headed straight for Rita, so she dodged it just in time, just before the lightning bolt electrocuted the Toad.
"Did he just…" Roddy began, but the lightning bolt zapped him before he could finish his sentence.
A moment later, Roddy and the Toad passed out. Rita grabbed the tiger's eye and dragged Roddy's body away.
"I don't know if they switched back," Rita told herself, "but I'm not taking any chances!"
The hench rats just couldn't catch Rita!
"The boss won't be pleased," Spike said in a worry.
