I don't own For honor or RWBY. Also I'll try to upload before every Sunday but I ain't promising nothing. Anyway hope you all enjoy.
"Before we get into this timeline, I'll tell you a bit about it, so you aren't surprised." Most of them thought he wasn't going to talk anymore after he disappeared, so they were surprised that he was telling them this; "A few millennia or so I think a calamity fell upon the residents of the world it totally devastated them as they lost homes, family, resources, and food as the ecosystem at the time hadn't adapted yet. Since then, they've all been fighting each other, and I shall show you an ending or a new beginning depending on how you look at it. Please note that most of these worlds do not have aura, grimm, or dust but may have something similar and more powerful."
"A few millennia of war and we only see a possible ending to it?" whispered Ozpin with only those near him hearing it. "What even caused this war to happen? Why has it continued for so long? What even caused the calamity that fell upon them?" questioned Ozpin tiredly.
There was a yell and a chocked scream as what was clearly a tall, armored woman stabbed a man in the stomach came up behind slit his throat with her metallic claws. Turning onto the next one coming from behind she parried his strike and hitting him in the head with the pommel of her sword then got behind him plunging her sword into his back pulling it out in time for her to block another strike and knock him away with sheer strength. Parrying a strike from another she sent him towards the swing of his recovered comrade killing him and allowing her to cut off the head of the shocked enemy.
"I'm guessing this is Apollyon and that this world has no either no aura or she already broke theirs based off how fast she killed the four of them." stated Qrow grimly as their captor already said she was going to be on here. He and the others could already tell she was skilled and strong based off the way she toyed with those knight looking guys. He didn't like his nieces witnessing this but knew he wasn't going to get anything out of complaining about it.
"Are those knights? Or something else?" questioned Jaune taking an interest in their armor and weapons but clearly as uncomfortable as the rest with the killings.
"Correct Qrow and yes there is no aura in this world just some divine blessings and minor powers. Also, yes Jaune they are knights and Apollyon herself is a Warden simply different than the rest." answered Yin. Both nodded having their questions satisfied but slightly it confused Jaune at the mention of divine and Qrow at "minor powers." Again, Ozpin and Salem seemed to tense at the mention of the divine, but no one except Yin noticed before they relaxed once again. Yin took something else into consideration though, 'Neither of them seemed confused at the mention of Wardens. I don't remember that being in Remnants files or the cat's notes. I'll send him a report in case he missed this information though I doubt he missed something this obvious.'
"Finally, The Dawn Empire has arrived." spoke Apollyon in an eerily joyful way (my interpretation).
"Yield. Face Justice." said what looked to be a lightly armored samurai to the people of Remnant.
"I'll pass." said Apollyon dismissively.
"I had found her. Now I needed to survive." narrated the samurais voice.
"Is this from the samurai's point of view now?" asked Blake.
"Yes, I've been showing you what footage we managed to get while they were fighting and the 'samurai' as you called him is telling his story to others. You'll understand as it happens." spoke Yin. 'She didn't call him a Orochi so that hopefully means the only anomaly is the Warden order.'
"He's at a disadvantage from what we can see weapon wise and armor wise. His only advantage would be his smaller build and him hopefully being more agile than she is." analyzed Glynda. "He's not out matched in skill if he's going directly against her alone so he might get a suitable number of cuts in, but I don't see him winning this since there are barely any weak points in that armor of hers."
Neo raised up a sign that said, 'He's small not weak.' while looking directly at Yang whose eyes turned red for a sec only making Neo smugger. Only to see Raven staring her down forcing Neo to put the sign away calmly no longer smiling. Making Yang smile seeing it as a victory unknowing of Raven's help.
"Where did she even get that sign from?" whispered Emerald to Mercury.
"Don't ask me I'm still trying to figure out how the old guy got coffee." whispered Mercury back just as puzzled.
"I would also like you to remember that the 'Samurai' is called a Orochi specifically." asked Yin though it sounded like an order which served to annoy or unnerve everyone.
Apollyon ran towards the Orochi swinging two overhead strikes the first managed to get a glancing blow on his helmet and the second was blocked. The Orochi rammed her with his body only to get pushed back forcing him to retreat while she swung at his head. The Orochi dodge and went for two strikes to her helmet managing to connect both times but doing no noticeable damage not even stunning her as judged by her swinging for his side not a second later. Blocking it he was his only choice which turned out be the right one as he got a glowing aura around him that expanded and pushed Apollyon on her back and had her subordinates come to help. The subordinate knight got one hit to the Orochi's side which connected but had surprisingly insignificant effect and was cut twice with two heavy strikes to his sides in return.
"I thought you said they didn't have aura in that world." said Pyrrha.
"You're forgetting about the part when I said they had divine blessings and powers. This one called Revenge is given by the Goddess of War in that world to warriors she favors. Apollyon and this Orochi both have this blessing from her." reminded Yin and answering the question about what it was. "It's much like your aura only much more fragile and doesn't last nearly as long. Though it only takes a second of advantage to turn the tide of a fight." Making the more experienced hunters nod in agreement along with the criminals and villains knowing they could've died so many times if not for their advantages over enemies. "Oh, and one more thing refer to the assassin like woman as a peacemaker." said Yin before unpausing the screen.
Apollyon now up went for an overhead strike which the Orochi dodged without even looking at it only to et stabbed by an assassin like woman. It forced him to retreat into a building into the hallway through a door which fortunately worked in his advantage because when the subordinates came in the knight was the first to die with a sword through his neck which the Orochi quickly pulled out making the knight drop to the ground and leaving the Peacemaker a chance to jump and stab him with her daggers only for him to dodge and slit her throat providing Apollyon her chance to get hits in. She went or his sides first giving him to heavy swings from the right then left which he couldn't block or dodge in time for. He rolled back and dropped a stone on the floor which covered him with a green aura that appeared to heal him as his movement didn't look pained anymore. Unfortunately, Apollyon got two overhead strikes on his helmet disorientating him, but he had got three hits back in return two to her sides and one to the helmet making her back up giving him more time to heal.
"That's useful but makes absolutely no sense to me." stated an annoyed Weiss which had most agreeing with her.
"Maybe we should get armor too..." said a distracted ruby that was now lost in her thoughts. It got the two teams to think on it while watching the fight.
Pressing his advantage, he went for two heavy strikes to her sides only one had though as Apollyon parried the second and struck his armored chest pushing him onto the floor on his back. A pillar that was fire landed next to him forcing him to roll on his side and get up only to no longer see Apollyon. He had no time to worry about that though as the room was crumbling and on fire, he ran for the exit that Apollyon might've ran to only for it to get blocked making him take the hall to the side and not a moment later had he entered rubble fell behind him. Looking at the stairs to his side he was happy that the rubble blocked him earlier as Apollyon was on the stairs looking at him.
"Come." she commanded taking a stance.
"Her skill was greater than mine. I would have to exceed myself or die." narrated the Orochi.
"Greater than his? He's gotten more hits on her and killed two of her soldiers. How is she greater than him?" asked Yang confused.
"She's been toying with him. You can tell she's been backing off instead of pressing her advantage with her weapon, strength, and armor. She hasn't even used her hands to claw at his throat or distract like with the knights at the beginning." stated Cinder as if it was a fact. Making team RWBY and JNPR review the fight so far in their head and realize she's right. "She'll kill him if he makes anymore mistakes. It looks like she wants to teach him something before she does." smiling at Apollyon's style creeping the others out a bit.
"She's still creepy when she smiles; fucking she-devil." whispered Roman to Neo while shuddering getting a nod of agreement from her.
Apollyon rushed him as he was coming up the stairs something he didn't expect but managed to block her first strike only for the second to get through and hit his armored chest. He ignored that though in favor of blocking the strikes coming at his sides which he blocked except for another heavy strike to his chest which knocked a bit of air out of him. He dodged back seeing her go for a powerful swing towards his head. He knows he made the right choice since the stone stairs had been cut into by the strength of that swing.
"Damn that lady is strong for not having aura. I mean I know someone who's trained and has good muscle could do that, but she cut into those stairs like they were made of butter and she's not even winded yet from all the fighting so far." pointed out an amazed Yang. Also giving the more aura reliant members something to think about.
"Yang no swearing. Put five lien in the swear jar when we get back." pouted Ruby. Which stunned Yang and had Weiss, Blake, Qrow, and JNPR snickering at her.
"Oh, come on." grumbled Yang.
"Shh it's not paused." said Blake.
Pulling her sword from the ground she rammed into the Orochi knocking him down and swung her sword toward his legs and he rolled away just in time. Frustrated Apollyon yelled, "You're better than this Orochi."
"I think I get her now." whispered Raven to herself though Qrow was near enough to catch it. He looked at the entire thing from her point of view and understood where she was coming from and groaned lowly attracting Ironwood's attention momentarily but he was waved off by Qrow who turned back to the viewing.
The Orochi pulled himself back up just in time to block a swing for his sides but got a cut into his arm making him dodge back. Hoping to catch her off guard he jumped at her and pressed his sword to hers but se stepped back making him knee for a moment. While he was orienting himself, she threw him towards a wall harshly while backing him up as he took a swing her way while she backed up to the balcony nearby with him following close by tiredly.
"I don't think he's winning this. He's walking with tiredly and has taken more hits than he can manage I think." stated Blake worriedly.
Neo held up a sign that said 'He's got this kitty. Don't underestimate him.' wanting to show her support for the small guy. Which made Blake narrow her eyes but figured it wasn't worth fighting over.
As he walked to the opposite side of the large balcony, she was on she started to pace holding her sword with one hand casually going back in forth. She started to talk paying no heed to the fight moments ago or the one under her feet, "Death it waits for us all. A warrior is someone who does not let that stop them from doing what must be done. Come, Warrior."
"She reminds me of Raven in a way. Are you seeing it too sir?" questioned Glynda to Ozpin to which he nodded.
"Glad I'm not the only one who saw it." grumbled Qrow.
Nodding towards him she charged with an overhead swing.
"It would be the end." narrated the Orochi.
"I'm going to end you." said the Orochi to Apollyon. Blocking her swing and knocking her back he landed three quick hits one to the helmet two towards the sides. Getting Revenge activated Apollyon burst with a yellow aura just as the Orochi had. Charging towards him she impaled him with her sword and cut his neck with her claws. Just as she as going to start raining more blows upon him her Revenge ran out and he could block her moves again.
"I was lucky she missed the vitals that day." narrated the Orochi.
The stunned Orochi barely held off her next blows before pulling himself together enough to use Revenge himself blowing her back enough to land three quick hits and stab her in the stomach then pull out.
"She tired. Weakening. It was hard to tell but it was there all I needed was one more hit and she would fall. It would be foolish to think she'd fall without giving me a couple more hits though." depicted the Orochi.
"Only sheep pray for peace Warrior." stated Apollyon fully believing it as she charged him and swiped at chest with her claws forcing him back enough to where she' be able to stab his shoulder. Stab she did and once she got that hit she dodged to the side as the Orochi swung his sword at her head then hit him in the sides with enough strength to cut into his side making him cough blood as she pulled her sword out she stabbed her in the side and ripped out his sword through it doing fatal damage to which she laughed at. Backing up towards the balcony she slid down and sat while the Orochi remained standing and on guard.
"It's over. We will have peace." stated the Orochi as if commanding her. Turning his back to her and walking away but stopped at her chuckle then turned towards her.
"He won. I'm honestly surprised." stated Salem making some tense at her voice. "She had the chance to drive than sword deeper into him, yet she didn't. With the way she's been portrayed so far you'd think she'd be more ruthless." Letting the others see her view of the situation.
"Maybe we shall find out while watching the rest of this. I have a feeling it's nearly over." said Ozpin looking at Salem with something akin to regret though none not even Salem who looked at him with anger in her eyes noticed. None the less his words turned their attention back to the screen.
Pullin herself up with the help of her sword Apollyon chuckled again, "Peace." she chuckled again as if the word had no meaning. "So, what happens now?" her voice rising she picked up her sword again with her hand, but the Orochi stopped her with his own. "You all just go home?" she turned and threw her sword upon the bridge right in the middle of where two allied armies storming her fortress met. "You came into my home." The two armies are now staring each other down getting ready for a fight.
"Oh no." said Ruby worriedly. "Come on don't fight. Don't fight."
"Sorry little red but I don't think that's going to happen." chuckled Roman who had stayed silent for the most it.
"Shut up Torchwick you don't know." said Yang coming to her sister's side even if she doubted it herself.
"Well, I won't say I told you so if it makes you feel better. Let us see who's right though." mocked Roman turning back to the screen.
"And you brought your armies." Both sides are waiting for someone to move. "What did you think would happen?" As the Samurais commander lowers his katana along with his army and the Knights leader lower hers with her soldiers following Apollyon questions, "Peace?"
"Yes, Yes, Yes come on let there be peace." said Ruby full of hope.
As the Vikings yell rushing through the broken gates in, she says, "That isn't how the world works." The armies of knights and samurai rush towards each other headless off their commanders' orders to stop.
"Sorry sis. I don't think there is going to be peace." apologized Yang while Roman looked their way a little smug but not really caring enough to taunt them.
"I wouldn't dismiss it so soon Miss Xiao Long. There is a decent chance we shall see it." knowingly said Ozpin while sipping his coffee that still is puzzling others on how he hasn't run out.
Soldiers cut each other down trying to survive. A conquer crunches the skull of a Orochi making a few in the audience wince. A Raider and Kensei are locked in battle their weapons pressed against each other. "Don't speak to me of your virtues." The samurai and knight leader look at each other and charge not willing to leave their soldiers to the mercy of others. "Duty" she says as the Warden (Knight leader) cuts out the Kensei's (Samurai leader) stomach. "Kinship" she goes as a Raider uses his axe to cut into a Wardens shoulder killing them. "Honor" she lists as a Kensei cuts open the stomach of a foot soldier. As the she looks up from the chaos of this battle towards the Orochi she states, "You've forgotten what you are."
"What's she means by that?" asks Nora to Ren who shrugs. "Are they secretly sloths or something you think? Oh, or maybe they're ancient race that's been weakened forever?" getting more excited with each question she asks Ren covers her mouth and gestures for everyone to watch the screen again. Weirded out by her hyper activeness the villains resolved not to talk with her unless necessary before turning to screen with everyone else who has long been used to her weird questions.
"You want war. Only war." whispers the Orochi in horrified understanding.
"All I want is for you to admit what you are." she says turning and pointing her finger at him; thrusting her finger in his direction with every word she said then lowering it. Taking a breath, she lifts her arms in a shrugging gesture and says, "All of you." Extending a hand towards him in what looked like a gripping gesture she said, "My wolves." after lowering the hand she topples over still and unmoving. The Orochi seeing this walks towards the end of the balcony looking over all the chaos this one woman caused not saying a single word. The screen then turns black with the sound of a katana being sheathed as the only sound left.
"Looks like you were wrong Old Oz no peace." mocked Tyrian with a smile on his face and a few members of team RWBY and JNPR frowning at the insane looking faunas, and the ending. Only for Ozpin to sip his mug again and gesture towards the screen making him frown as he did so, and the teams grow hopeful.
"You know the rest." states a female Kensei towards a Law bringer and Warlord.
Yin's voice comes out of nowhere informing them, "These are the current three leaders of the main factions that have waged war against each other for so long. The man with the heavy armor is a Law bringer, the man with the furs is the leader of the Vikings called a Warlord, and you already know of the Kensei." Which lead to most growing hopeful and a few disappointed that there might me a chance of peace with all the leaders together and not hostile.
"Seven more years of bloody war." states the Law bringer.
"It took them that long to declare a meeting after the one instigating everything was dead?!" questioned Glynda outraged at what a colossal number of lives must've been lost.
"Calm down Glynda." spoke Ozpin and when he did, she was about to start on him but stopped when said, "They've been at war for hundreds of years another 7 is nothing to get mad about compared to that. Just be happy they're trying to go for peace instead of continuing it out of spite forever." While she wasn't happy with the logic, she could see her bosses point and knew when she saw James's nodding, she lost whatever argument she might've come up with.
"It's still not right Professor Ozpin." said Ruby wit the rest of her friends nodding with her.
"Ruby, I know your upset but that's life. Nothing is going to be 'right' for everyone." sighed Qrow wishing he had his flask with him. Raven and a few others agreed with him but wouldn't show it.
"Please no more talking until the end." spoke Yin as he started the screen again.
"Apollyon played us all against each other. For what?" spoke the Warlord angrily.
"To weed out the weak." stated the Law bringer.
That got a nod of approval from very few and angered faces from most of the others.
"Why did you call us here Cross?" said the Kensei wanting to get to the point.
"I didn't. I was sent here by the new Lord Warden" sighed Cross then spoke louder, "To make amends." Suddenly he was struck across the face by the Warlord.
Still holding onto hope Ruby didn't say anything as to not jinx it.
"How dare you?!" yelled the Warlord grabbing his sword he yelled, "Thousands of my people, dead!"
"Well. Here's your chance for vengeance." said Cross calmly shrugging from the floor.
"We've shared our stories, like your 'Lord Warden' requested. Now—why are we here?" spoke the Kensei with a calm tone.
Cross looking at both from the ground said, "Peace." To which the Warlord growled a walked back towards his seat and the Kensei pulled him up.
"Peace?" said the Kensei as she walked away from him; it was a foreign word.
"Even if it were possible-we're no peacemakers!" said the frustrated Warlord already have given up on the idea.
"Is it an unworthy goal?" asked the Kensei.
"Well, no—but..." trailed off the Warlord uncertain turning to look outside before looking back at them both, "Is this how it starts?"
Looking at both the Kensei said, "It would have to start with us."
"We will die in this attempt. You know that." Cross said warning them.
"It'll make a good tale, wouldn't it?" spoke the Warlord moving towards them fully on board.
