It's shorter than I was planning on but I'll be making longer chapters for most of this. By the way knights rule.

I don't own RWBY or For Honor

"Ha take that in your dumb face Torchwick there was peace!" yelled a triumphant Ruby with a smile on her face when the screen faded to black.

"I wouldn't be so sure about that little red. After all its always a possibility that they failed since we didn't see it." said Roman with a smirk making her face fall but when she opened her moth to retort roman asked Yin a question while looking straight at Ruby and the giving the other hunters some attention, "Hey kid you said we're viewing timelines right? Doesn't that mean they failed to bring peace in some timelines or that Apollyon lived, and the war continued with her leading it?" Seeing where he was going with this the hunters in the room frowned along with TEAM RWBY and JNPR.

"You are correct Roman those outcomes have happened usually more often than others." stated Yin with annoyance in his tone which most assumed was due to being called a "kid" but his answer disappointed the hunters and seeing this he decided to lift the mood. "However, there are timelines that peace has happened and has stayed for a while." said Yin and his statement served its purpose in lifting their moods judging by their small smiles. "Moving on we shall be viewing more of this timeline though it will be shorter than you're first viewing it may provide some insight into their world." A few were eager with his words although not showing it outwardly. "Any questions before we start?"

"What's her motivation? There has to be something driving her more what we saw from the last video you showed us?" questioned Ironwood surprising nearly everyone. His reasoning for asking though was simple; what better way to understand her than her motivation. 'We barely know anything about are own enemy, and she's in the room with us powerless and unable to fight but we're in the same situation as her. I might as well just learn as much about the people like her to get idea on her motivations. Apollyon has started wars/a war for whatever reason and Salem would very much like humanity to enter war once again to gain an advantage although its their only connection from what we've seen it's good enough.'

"I find her motivation is simple. She wants to create a world where warriors are not constrained by people they could easily kill in combat; for her war is a chance for everyone to get they want, to be wolves or to be sheep waiting to die and have everything taken. Apollyon is consistent with what she does across all timelines." Yin informed them already knowing who Ironwood was speaking of.

"That's…." started Ozpin but trailing off as he began to understand her view. He had spent his lives with various types of people someone with her mentality wasn't new.

"… pretty fucked up." finished Qrow but after all the time he's spent with his sister and other criminals he already knew her past must've been a hard one. Still didn't excuse the number of lives she must've taken in his eyes, but it was at least lowered the amount of disgust he had for her. "She sounds like a more ambitious Raven with resources."

"Shut it Qrow." lowly growled Raven glaring dangerously at him making him roll his eyes used to it.

"Anymore questions?" asked Yin to which most shook their head. "Ok then I'll start it."

The screen turned on showing a field of wheat with a castle and village in the distance; and a bird flying a short distance away. "There were no signs." said a voice everyone recognized.

"So, this is what you meant by insight." whispered Salem the gaining attention of her followers who paid closer attention to the screen. She could already tell where this was headed.

"It came without warning" said Apollyon in a calm voice; the earth started to shake in the fields.

"So, this is how the world ended for them." stated Ozpin already drawing the conclusion Salem did. His statement made every hunter near him flinch at the thought of what they're about to see.

The land crumbled in the direction of the castle to which the screen showed was in a panic as the ground crumpled underneath their feet. A knight fell into the cracked earth and a statue of an angel broke into pieces.

"That poor knight." said a horrified Jaune at the thought of being swallowed and buried underneath the earth to which his friends nodded just as horrified.

The village is shown to be rising into the air thanks to the elevated ground and a sudden storm cloud appears above the land over it and the castle. The castle area is rising into the air just as the village did with ground around it crumbling leaving no escape for those who could've made it outside and lightning striking the lands in and out of it. The Knights in the castle near a fell all back as the well suddenly bursts with mud making two fall to the ground while others ran away.

The audience could only stay silent with some disapproving and some approving nods being all the motion seen.

The grounds toward the edge of the castle falls off into a chasm made by the earthquake turning the screen black as it fell towards it. "Doom came to us all." narrated Apollyon the screen now showing a ruined castle on with fires everywhere, a gate that the audience only could guess belonged to the Samurai with a temple on fire in the background, and what looked to be a wooden ship broken in half and a fort also split apart with lava running through it; dead bodies could also be seen floating in a river nearby. The screen turned black or an instant before showing a panting and hurriedly limping Viking fall to the ground cupping water in his hands and drinking it from a small puddle. "The desperate few struggled to survive."

"Hmm… Glynda remind me to install a survival class when we get back." stated Ozpin focusing on the screen while still sipping that damn cup of coffee (seriously where does he get it).

"We already have one, but I'll make it mandatory instead of optional." said Glynda taking a mental note.

"I'm happy some of them survived at least." Ruby said shedding tears at the destruction and what must've been thousands or millions of dead people. Yang siting next to her gave a hug which Ruby leaned into while still watching the Viking.

"That would've been hell to survive in." stated Blake her cat ear perked up in alertness which no one pointed out or noticed.

The viking hearing footsteps behind him turned around with his axe and shield in hand and caught a katana with his axe head before having the shield on his arm kicked knocking him back. The other man appeared to be like the Orochi from earlier but with worse armor and a cloth shirt. He held out his katana and drew a line in the dirt on the other side of the water daring the viking to come near while claiming the water as his own.

"Oh, come on they could've shared that between the two of them." said a frustrated Nora wishing she was there to bash their knees. She and Ren what it was like to be homeless, thirsty, and hungry which is why she knew they could've shared.

"Never trust humans to do the right thing when desperate girl. Nine times out of ten they'll always make the situation worse." advised Salem as if speaking from experience. Nora creeped out by the creepy lady still smiled at her and nodded at the advice even if she wanted to disagree which surprised Salem greatly (she looks like a grimm who you think has smiled at her in hundreds of years without great fear?).

The two were about to face off when suddenly a broadsword fell into the ground, both warriors looked at it then the owner who was on the small bridge it was dropped from. It was a woman dressed in plate armor and cloth with a ponytail sticking out her helmet. When she dropped down and landed near her sword both warriors could see her chainmail was torn and she was dirty along with worn down as she pulled herself while lifting her sword with her.

"Everyone you see is a predecessor to an Order. The knight is the predecessor of the Wardens, the Kensei look alike is the predecessor of the Kensei, and the viking is the Raider predecessor." Informed Yin. While they could've guessed that themselves it was better to clear up any confusion they might've had later.

As the three began to circle each other they seem to grow weary and lower their weapons as if in truce. "Perhaps we had a chance for peace then." The viking stared down at the water making most of the audience anxious. "But desperation and trust are seldom allies." The viking roared at the two and charged forward, ducking under a swing from the samurai and deflecting and parrying a blow from the knight he retaliated with a swing of his axe to the samurai, who blocked it in time.

'Their skill is admirable it's a shame to be wasted in such a pointless fight.' Thought Ozpin along with some others.

The knight turned with the parry and swung her sword again as the samurai struck her in the shin before turning and kneeing the Viking in the face. "So began our millennia of conflict" The samurai was hit with the pommel of the knight's broadsword and the viking had swung his axe which had changed and became longer with a bigger axe head. Everything was changing now from the environment to their clothes.

"That world is so messed up it's a wonder that the land and resources they had weren't exhausted." Phyrra who had mostly been quiet said. Which made the others wonder how exactly they didn't exhaust themselves before shrugging it off as a mystery.

The camera began to span out as the world became restored from a barren land to a lush field with every faction fighting on it. The Kensei now had a larger nodachi with a crest on his chest and his armor was now layered with metal. He cut open the stomach of a viking, blocked the strike of a knight and stabbed him the chest, slit another knight's throat, and hit a heavily armored knight with a mace in the head with his pommel. The screen then cuts to the knightess who was now in even better armor, nearly covering her entire body and having arm protection now as she pushed the hilt of her blade in a man's head before pulling him out and smacking him the back of the head with the pommel as she turned to stare at the battlefield.

Although not surprised at this point with how brutal killings were it still made some uncomfortable. "Brutal but efficient, I like her." said Tyrian with an insane grin on his face making the rest stare for a sec before shaking their heads at the crazy guy.

The scene changes to show the viking's axe bang against a shield, pushing them away then catching a knight's sword on the shaft of his long axe before turning around and tripping someone by hitting their foot. The viking wore no shirt and it showed off his extreme muscle under leather straps along with his large helm with horns, his beard and hair were now longer and braided too.

Wolf whistling Yang said, "Now those are some good abs. I got to up my training again." embarrassing ruby and her team as she went on describe them along with some of the other women in the room.

The knightess forward as another viking came upon her with a war cry only for the swing to ducked under and giving her the chance to stab his stomach and lift his body to the side letting it slide off as another viking charged and her to deflect his axe.

It cuts back to the samurai as he suddenly spun away from a knight's slash and bend on one knee as his sword cleanly cut through the knight's knee.

"I- oh god that knights leg just got off." said a rapidly green turning Ruby who had a bag teleported in front of her as she threw up.

"Phyrra when we get back, I'm asking Ruby to make me armor for my limbs. Maybe you guys should too?" whispered Jaune scared by the thought of his team losing limbs cause of having no armor.

"…. I'll make some plans we're back." agreed Phyrra with the same thoughts in her head. Ren and Nora just nodded along with her words.

"The greatest warriors our world has known" The knightess now held her sword against the back of a vikings neck before spinning and cutting his head clean off. The viking flipped a man over his shoulder as another charged him, he missed and had his chest split open by the axe head falling down the viking pulled his axe free an slammed his axe onto the one he flipped over killing him.

"They really don't hold back, do they?" asked Cinder rhetorically with a small smile.

The viking then wrenched his axe free from that unfortunate guy's chest and backed seeing the two others from before. "The reason they've fought lost to time"

That just plain frustrated most of the hunters even when they know the reason why they've been fighting.

The three began to circle each other, none of them knowing this where their ancestors stood and fought ages ago as they looked down at the corpses of comrades and enemies pilling up around them. A solider was even in the puddle from earlier with his blood staining it.

"In the end humanity will always be its own worst enemy, not nature, almighty gods, or grimm but humans themselves." spoke Salem her words sounding as if fact to the others. Ozpin only lowered his head to that while watching the screen knowing its true but not accepting the outcome no matter how many times, he has seen it.

"And yet…" continued Apollyon with a more malicious tone compared to the calm toe so far; her armored hand showing up on screen grasping an arrow while pushing the nature away blocking her shot. "…here they still are." The three continued to circle each other before finally lowering their weapons after looking at the corpses surrounding them. "Searching for a sign of peace." she spoke as if offended by the word itself.

"She's going to ruin the chance for peace again, isn't she?" said Weiss with narrowed frosty eyes.

"I will show them." she comes back to an indifferent tone as if she wasn't angered a second ago. The viking was first backing up giving the other two space, the samurai second showing his respect by bowing, the knightess resting her two hands on her sword pointed towards the ground. All seemed well before an arrow struck the vikings shoulder out of nowhere. He grunted and pulled it out and was angered seeing it belong to the knights. Gripping his axe, he charged the two once again.

"Damn it!" yelled Yang and no one could really blame her. Ruby resolved to tell her about the swear jar later seeing as her sister was more upset than her.

"I am Apollyon." she declared as the screen showed her in her armor watching the three warriors fight to the death. The archer who fired the shot nodded and walked off, and the screen turned black three words were still heard perfectly.

"I bring war."

"That last part gave me chills. It was like if the silent badass in videogames decided to speak." said Jaune getting chills down his spine along with Ruby but ruining the mood for everyone else.
