Quinn woke up the next morning, Chris's arms around her and her head resting on his chest. She didn't know how they ended up like that. She moved a little bit and managed to get up. She walked out of the bedroom and to the bathroom. She quickly showered and changed and headed to the guest room. She hadn't heard anything from Tricia all night. She opened the door and saw the bed unmade. She shut it and walked to the living room. She stopped when she saw Tricia on the sofa asleep and Jon on the floor.

She walked over and shook Jon awake. "What happened last night?"

"Oh, Tricia woke up and came out here. We played a board game." He said pointing to the game of life on the coffee table. "And then she fell asleep. I assume she had a nightmare and couldn't sleep."

"What happened to I'll come get you if she needs you?" Quinn said.

"He started to but I told him to let you and Chris sleep. He hasn't slept since I got here." Tricia said sitting up on the couch.

Quinn looked at Tricia. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. Did you and Chris sleep okay?"

"Yeah. It was fine."

"Great." She smiled. "Chris still asleep?

"Yes, he is."

"That's good. I'm glad he is. I've been worried about him."

"You shouldn't be worried about me." They heard from the hallway. They turned to see Chris. He walked into the living room. "Tricia, I don't want you to worry about me. This is about you and helping you. That's my only goal. To be here for you."

"I know and I appreciate that. But you can't neglect yourself or your health or life. I don't want that."

"I'm not neglecting anything."

"Really? What about your job? I mean, you should be working." She said. "Instead you're here with me."

"I was given a leave of absence until this is all over."

"Oh." She replied just as the phone rang. Chris picked it up and handed it to her.

"It's the D.A." She nodded and took the call.

She talked for a few minutes before hanging up. "They need me for a line up and then Wade's arraignment is today and they want me there."

"Let me get dressed and we'll head down." She nodded and headed to the other bathroom to get dressed. She was nervous about doing the line up and seeing Wade in court. But she knew she would have to face him now and when the trial started.

After getting dressed, they all headed to the police station for the line up and then they would head over to the courthouse for the trial. Tricia sat behind the glass, her stomach in knots.

"Okay Ms. Irvine, once all the gentleman are in line, you will pick out who attacked you." Randy said as he stood beside her. "Bring them in." He said over the speaker box. "Take your time and pick him out."

Tricia looked at each of the guys. She knew exactly who attacked her. She took a breath. "Number four. That's him. He's the one who raped me."

"Very good." Randy said. He turned to Wade's lawyer. "That's a victim's ID. I will see you in court." He looked over at Tricia. "This today is just so he can enter a plea. We will argue he's a danger to the public and see if we can't keep him in jail. They'll also give us a date for the grand jury. You'll have to testify at that."

"Okay." She said softly.

Randy sighed. "Tricia, you're the only person who can put Wade where he belongs. You are going to testify right?"

"Yes." She said softly.

"Alright. I will see you all in court." He said leaving the room.

Quinn looked at her. "You did so great."

"Now comes the toughest part." She said to her.

"You will do fine." Quinn said to her. "Now, we should get to court." Tricia nodded and they headed to the court house. She wished this was over and done with. They took their seats in the back of the court room and Quinn held her hand on one side and Chris did the same on the other.

Tricia took a breath when the door opened that led to the holding cell and Wade walked out with his lawyer. He smirked at both her and Chris and sat down.

"All rise the honorable Jim Ross presiding."

"Be seated." He said taking his seat. "This is State of New York vs. Wade Barrett on the charge of rape in the first degree and assault in the first degree. How do you plead Mr. Barrett?"

"Not guilty your honor."

"Bail?"

"The people request remand." Randy said to the judge.

"Why? My client is not a flight risk. He has ties to the city."

"Your honor, Mr. Barrett is a dangerous man. The people feel if he were out, he would hurt his victim and others."

"This is crazy. My client is innocent until proven guilty. He has no need to be held in jail."

"The defendant has access to a considerable amount of money and is originally from England. This is not the first time he's been implicated in a crime that was violent in nature. We think remand is reasonable."

"The prosecution is reaching. Mr. Barrett agrees to surrender his passport."

"What about Tricia Irvine? She's afraid of Mr. Barrett."

"I've heard enough. Bail is set at five hundred thousand and Mr. Barrett will surrender his passport. I am also issuing a restraining order against Mr. Barrett. He is to stay at least five hundred feet from Tricia Irvine. Trial is set to begin on Monday. Court adjourned."

Wade looked back over his shoulder at Tricia as they hauled him off. The look he gave her sent chills up her spine. She got up and ran out of the court house. She just had to be away from him.

"I'll go after her." Chris said to them.

"No, I'll go." Quinn replied.

"No, I'll go." Chris added.

"How about I go and the two of you head to Chris's place? I will bring Tricia there." Jon said breaking up the argument. He walked out of the court room and started looking for her. He found her sitting outside the courthouse. "Are you okay?"

She looked up at him. "I don't know. I mean he got bail. He will be out there."

He sighed and sat down by her. "But he can't come near you. The restraining order is in place to prevent that."

"Do you really think he will follow that?" She sighed. "I don't understand any of this. I never met him until he raped me. I knew who he was because I saw the story in the papers. I never did anything to him but he hurt me. And I just feel he will again since he's out."

Jon sat down beside her. "That's why I'm here. To make sure that doesn't happen. I won't let him hurt you again."

"Can you really stop him?" She asked looking at him.

"I promise to protect you." She nodded. "Let's head back to Chris's. Both he and Quinn are worried about you." She nodded and they got up and headed out.

Wade watched as they left. He had paid his bail and now he just had to wait until the trial. He had no doubt that his lawyer would make sure he was acquitted like before. He would never see prison. He would make sure of it.
