When Aura was seven her Daddy sat her down to have a talk. Her Daddy was always a practical man and when he sat you down for a talk then he had some solid practical things to tell you. It always made sense and made life so much easier like how he explained doing chores, do a little cleaning now and avoid having to do lots of gross cleaning later. She was a bit confused as to why he had to have a practical talk now, none of The Rules were confusing and she hadn't done anything bad in a whole week.

"Now wind sprite I want ask you about the Marry Harry Potter game you and your friends are playing. Are you marrying Harry Potter because he is a story character or just because you like that name?" Aura is admittedly stumped, what a weird thing her daddy is asking about.

"Well, the other girls say you're supposed to want to marry Harry Potter and that if you do, you'll be rich and famous."

"OK but what do you think?"

"Umm well my books say he goes on all sorts of adventures and sees all sorts of cool things. I want to do that and if I marry Harry Potter that means he has to take me with him on his adventure because that is what married means. You both got to share your adventures." Her daddy seems relived about her answer even though he still looked like he had a lot say.

"Good to know. I think there is something you don't know about Harry Potter and your books." He sighed and settled in for a long talk. A talk that changed everything while keeping everything just the same as before, he was really good at those kinds of talks.

Aura Hunter had a dilemma. Well, she thought it was a dilemma. It wasn't something that should change her life, so it wasn't a problem. It wasn't a part of any plans she had so it couldn't be a complication. Troubles usually involved trips to the Hospital Wing and as there was no blood then it simply couldn't be a trouble. It kind of seemed like a bother but slightly more important- the camera obsessed boy was a bother and one of the best ways to fix bothers was to endure until they go away, or you convince them to stop being a bother. This thing didn't really seem like it needed enduring so that just left a dilemma but only a small. A bit of a dilemma. Yes, Aura decide she had a bit of a dilemma. Fixing it was going to suck.

To understand her bit of a dilemma you must understand that she had been having a bit of a difficult year. It started out just fine, she got her invitation to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry right on time. Got to go shopping for all of her school supplies and her Mum and Dad even let her get some extra books. She had to leave home and couldn't see her parents till the holidays. She did get to leave her toad of a little brother behind but only after she got him to promise to tell her about everyone who was mean to him while she was gone. Even if he was a toad, he was her little brother and she was not inclined to share toad tormenting duties with anyone.

She got sorted into Gryffindor which seemed like an alright house even if she did have to share it with the camera obsessed boy. Well bothers could be fixed even if they must be endured for a time. The real problems started when she met one of her roommates Ginny Weasley. Now don't mistake her, she wasn't some pure-blood snob who hated her because of those blood traitor accusations or because she was taking sides in the Weasley-Malfoy feud. She didn't care about any of that to be honest. No, the reason Aura didn't like Ginny Weasley was Ginny didn't have the good fortune of having a practical Daddy like Aura. No one told Ginny Weasley that Harry Potter was a real boy, and the books just have a character that looks a lot like him. Ginny Weasley never stopped playing Marry Harry Potter and she always played so she could become rich and famous. Ginny Weasley was also play for real and keeps and all the other girls should just get out of her way now.

Now Aura had been told that those books were wrong, and the real Harry Potter suffered a tragedy and while that tragedy saved the Wizarding world it was still a bad thing. Her Daddy gave her some good advice for what to do when meeting the real Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley was stomping all over it. Plus, Aura simply did not like to do what uppity delusional girls told her too. This was the start of most of her problems in Gryffindor and the start of her year's dorm wars.

By Halloween Aura was very much winning the dorm wars due in part to Ginny's decent into crazier. Unfortunately, that was when the Heir of Slytherin decided to start terrorizing the school. As a side effect of her dorm wars with Ginny Weasley she had become in the running for her years Gryffindor Golden Girl title- she didn't really want it, but she was not letting Weasley get it. With the title came the responsibility of reining in at least the Gryffindor girls of her year but if she was going to do the job she might as well do it for her entire year. Luckily Ginny did seem to spend the rest of the year acting as crazy as she could so this year's dorm war was won. Which was good as it left her time after her herding duties to wonder if there was something about being sorted Slytherin that made them stupid as a good half of the fights she defused were due to Slytherins opening their mouth and saying something really dumb.

By the time that Harry Potter defeated the apparent evil plaguing the school, saved Ginny Weasley (who was now a helpless victim, the war would be fun next year), reinforced Ginny Weasley's delusions about hero Harry Potter and was involved in the downfall of the current defense teacher Aura was quite tired of everyone issues. At least it did give her time to look around and think about what she has been seeing which has led to her current dilemma. Harry Potter was being led around by his nose and someone was setting Ginny Weasley to led him around by his little head when they got older. Now she just has to figure out if she wants to tell him and how. Oh bugger.
