Chapter 6 the Z – Ordeal
Kizuna Hida wasn't sure that it will work, but with his Jangmo-o Sorehead, his Pichu, and Oranguru encouragement Kizuna Hida accept to take on another Trial. As Kizuna Hida with his Pokémon Jangmo-o Sorehead and his Pichu thank the Oranguru and left, he and his Pokémon went to take the Trial, along with Jin Mazama, Raku Ichijo, Basara Toujou and their Pokémon followed them.
They soon came across Professor Kukui who was looking for them and asking them for their help. Kizuna Hida was contemplating on whether to help Professor Kukui with something or go to his Trial. Kizuna Hida decided to help Professor Kukui, since didn't accept Professor Kukui's request and took a look at his Pokémon Partner Jangmo-o Sorehead. Professor Kukui said that Team Skull with their leader was causing troubles at the Pokémon School. With no hesitations, Kizuna Hida, Jin Mazama, Raku Ichijo, Basara Toujou, and with their Pokémon rushed with Professor Kukui to the Pokémon School.
When they arrived, they saw how Team Skull was harassing the student by attacking their Pokémon with their Pokémon. Jin Mazama, Raku Ichijo, Basara Toujou and Kizuna Hida with their Pokémon defend both the students and their Pokémon together. Then soon as they fought off Team Skull grunts, the leader and second-in-command of Team Skull approached to Jin Mazama, Raku Ichijo, Basara Toujou and Kizuna Hida. Professor Kukui told them that they were Guzma and Plumeria. From the time when Tupp, Rapp, and Zipp told them that there was a another team from Ash Ketchum fend off them from the Pokémon Center, Team Skull attacked the Pokémon School, so that to luring Jin Mazama, Raku Ichjio, Basara Toujou, and Kizuna Hida.
Guzma took out his Golisopod and taunting Jin Mazama, Raku Ichijo, Basara Toujou, and Kizuna Hida to see if one of them would step forth and challenge him in a Pokémon battle. Raku Ichijo tell Jin Mazama, Basara Toujou and Kizuna Hida huddle to each other to discuss to them that it could be a trap. With no other choice and under the difficult circumstances, Kizuna Hida with his Pokémon partner Jangmo-o Sorehead decided to bravely accept Guzma's challenge. Professor Kukui warned them to not to get too overconfident which Kizuna Hida with his Pokémon Partner understood him.
Kizuna Hida with his Pokémon partner Jangmo-o Sorehead faces off against Guzma and his Golisopod. Guzma strikes first by telling Goilsopod to used First Impression but Kizuna Hida told Sorehead Jangmo-o to used Protect to counter it. Then Guzma tell Golisopod to used Poison Jab, at that moment Kizuna Hida with a quick reaction told his Pokémon partner to dodge it. But Guzma say to his Goilsopod to used Liquidation that slash at Kizuna Hida's Jangmo-o Sorehead. Then with Kizuna Hida's Jangmo-o Sorehead unconscious, Guzma said to Goilopod to used Poison Jab on Jangmo-o which it was a critical direct hit.
Kizuna Hida's Pokémon Partner Jangmo-o Sorehead was poisoned and under the influence of the effects which it was looking bad for Kizuna Hida. Just as Guzma was about make the final blow, with saying to his Goilsopod to used Throat Chop, Kizuna Hida encouraged his Jangmo-o Sorehead then suddenly with a tingling consciousness, they felt that they had reactivated their strange bonding sensational sync. With Kizuna Hida's Jangmo-o Sorehead reenergized and somehow he learned a brand new move Outrage and thrashing at Guzma's Goilsopod blow after blow even though it blocks his attacks. With Guzma told his Goilsopod to used Liquidation again and Kizuna Hida tell his Jangmo-o to used Dragon Claw to make to final move, Goilsopod was fainted and Jangmo-o Sorehead won the battle at the last moment.
By means of Kizuna Hida winning the battle, Guzma rudely return his Goilsopod back to his Pokéball and order Team Skull to retreat. Jin Mazama, Raku Ichijo, Basara Toujou, with their Pokémon, and Professor Kukui congratulated Kizuna Hida and his Jangmo-o Sorehead. Professor Kukui offered Kizuna Hida a Pecha Berry and an Oran Berry to recover his Jangmo-o Sorehead from the poison. After seeing how Kziuna Hida's deed for defend the Pokémon School by defeating Guzma, Professor Kukui said that Kizuna Hida can take on the grand trial.
Kizuna Hida thought about it thoroughly with his Pokémon Partner Jangmo-o Sorehead, but he decided to take the Trial first before the grand Trial. Professor Kukui thought that was a wise decision, but Raku Ichijo due being rouse by enthusiasm, told Kizuna Hida that his Trial was to chase away the Alolan Rattata and Alolan Raticate by the Yungoos and Gumshoos help, which spoils the surprises.
So Kizuna Hida with his Pokémon along with Jin Mazama, Raku Ichijo, Basara Toujou and with their Pokémon gone to the Yungoos and Gumshoos cave where Kizuna Hida and his Pokémon Jangmo-o and his Pichu challenged Yungoos, Gumshoos, and then the Totem Gumshoos. When Kizuna Hida defeated the Totem Gumshoos with his Jangmo-o Sorehead, The Totem Gumshoos gave Kizuna Hida his Z-Crystal a Normalium Z as Kizuna Hida gives aid to him. Soon then with the Totem Gumshoos, Yungoos and Gumshoos chased away the Alolan Raticate and Alolan Rattata, Kizuna Hida was prepared for the Grand Trial as Kahuna Hala arrived and saw the whole thing. Jin Mazama, Raku Ichijo, and Basara Toujou tell Kizuna Hida that he can take the Grand Trial right away.
