Later that day, Apple had arrived back to the dorm room first and received a call on her cell phone right away.

"Hi mother, I wasn't expecting you to call today," said Apple.

"Neither was I, but then I got a call from Mr. Charming who told me that you broke your engagement off to Daring so I thought I should talk to you about this," said Snow White.

"Daring was being…," said Apple before her mother cut her off.

"I don't care what Daring did, Apple, you have been engaged to him since you two were born and a member of the White family never goes back on their word," said Snow White.

"So, you will go back to Daring and take the ring back," she said with a stern voice.

"I will not do any such thing, it was you who gave their word, not me, mother!" said Apple who was furious.

"Don't you get an attitude with me, little girl!" said Snow White.

"You said that a member of this family never goes back on their word, right?" asked Apple, whose anger instantly calmed down.

"I don't know what you're planning but…," said Snow White but this time she was the one to be cut off.

"Then I swear on the White family's name never to marry Daring Charming or any members of his family," said Apple.

"Do… do you have any clue what you have done?!" asked a completely shocked Snow White.

"Yeah, I'm finally taking a stand for myself, and if you don't like it then don't call back," said Apple before hanging up. She then dropped to her knees beside her bed as her body shook from a combination of her nerves and adrenaline.

"I… I can't believe I actually did that," said Apple. At the same time, Raven was talking with Cerise at a secluded area in the forest outside the school.

"Thought you weren't going to wear anything from your father's religion," said Raven as she noticed a Star of David necklace peeking out of Cerise's shirt collar.

"I said that, but I'm both Muslim and Jewish, so I couldn't just leave it in my jewelry box," said Cerise as she hid the necklace.

"Now back to our original conversation, Apple sure surprised me today," she said.
