About half an hour later, Raven finally returned to her room.

"Hey Apple, you won't believe what I got on that… test," said Raven as she walked in to find Apple sitting in the dark, hugging her knees into her chest while laying on her bed.

"What happened?" asked Raven as she ran to the blonde's side of the room.

"I got into a fight with my mother over the phone," said Apple without moving a single muscle.

"Oh no, was it about earlier this morning?" asked a worried Raven.

"Yeah," said Apple.

"I'm so sorry, I never meant for you to get in trouble," said Raven.

"It's okay, Raven, I actually stuck up for myself, told her how I feel about Daring and the engagement and even swore to never go through with it," said Apple while sitting up, a small smile appearing on her face.

"So, you're not upset about it?" asked Raven.

"No, I'm more shocked that I managed to do so, and I owe you for it," said Apple.

"But I didn't do anything," said Raven.

"Yes, you did, you showed me how to stand strong and to fight for what I believe in," said Apple as she stood up.

"And I can't thank you enough for that," said Apple before placing a kiss on Raven's cheek and then heading to the bathroom.

"That… that didn't just happen, did it?" asked Raven as she stood there too stunned to move a muscle. In the bathroom, Apple was leaning against the door, a slight blush to her cheeks.

"It… it was just a platonic kiss between friends," she thought while moving to the sink. She then looked into the mirror and placed a hand over her heart which was beating very fast.

"Oh, who am I kidding?" asked Apple while her face grew to an even darker shade of red. At the same time, Daring was over in his room using a picture of Apple as a target for darts.

"You'll pay for this, Apple," said Daring as he hit the picture right between the eyes.
