With the old research team gone, and the old lab destroyed, Ren is going through the old computers to salvage any of their old information. This is set after the finale of Trap Ash.

7. Ash Log 2 Subject Goodbye

During the events of Part 2 Chapter 1

Ash logged onto his computer, his room empty of any sign he'd even been there.

"Hey guys, if you're reading this, we'll I'm gone." Ash said. "I can't stay here, not with what's on the line. So I figured I should let you know some things."

"Goh, you have to pick up the pace if you're going to catch all of the Pokemon, and Chloe don't be so indecisive you'll do great." Ash said with a smile. "I know Professor Cerise said I wouldn't have a job here, but this is worth too much. If you need a new battler, look up Gary Oak, Professor Oak should know how to contact him, he's a strong battler, and a fellow researcher."

Ash sighed, giving a yawn. "I'm coming, Serena, and nothing will stop me from finding you."

As Ash left, the light flickered as Darkrai appeared

"Interesting, Mt Coronet. My goal is within reach." Darkrai said, holding up the note. "Don't worry Ash, you aren't alone."
