"Okay, so Chloe definitely isn't fine." Ash sighed. "Between her ramblings she asked me to continue the research, and I'm guessing this is what she was talking about." Ash said, pulling up the board. "Looks like she's been working on different eeveelutions. Hmm, I should go about this better, and I know just how." Ash said, turning off the camera.
The video started up, now showing a battle arena.
"So you want an all out water battle?" Misty asked.
"Yep." Ash said with confidence. "We're testing a theory at the lab and I figured who better to go to for help with the water typing."
"And Chloe's Eevee is here because?" Misty asked.
"That's the research and Chloe is currently getting her brain looked at." Ash said.
"Why am I not surprised." Misty sighed. "Enough time with you will make anyone insane."
"You still hold the record." Ash countered.
"Shut up, and send out your first Pokémon." Misty said flustered.
"Come on out Totodile!"
"So that's how you wanna play, then come on out Politoed!"
"Totodile use Waterfall!"
"Politoed use Hydro Pump!"
The two blasts of water connected, spreading splashed out in all directions.
"Umm Ash, where's Eevee?!" Misty said in a panic.
"Poreon." A Vaporeon said leaping out of a puddle.
The camera cut off, switching back to Ash, now with a towel around his neck.
"So, it isn't just moves, but also reactions to the surrounding environment." Ash said, turning and adding the data to the board. "Eevee changed back before we were in Vermillion and creating a similar scenario gave us no results. I wonder if something happened that is causing this?"
