I always wanted to write a OC story and found the perfect opportunity within Demon Slayer. I rarely see good fanfics on this animanga so I thought why not make sure stupidly strong character but that would be boring
So I settled on an OC and descendant of Yoriichi who will EVENTUALLY be op but will be limited to certain powers and forms so I made him currently equal if not higher to most hashiras like higher than Rengoku but not Gyomei. If Michi was a hashira he'd be 3rd strongest i'd say

My name is Michikatsu Tsugikuni, and I am the last living ancestor of the great swordsman
Yoriichi Tsugikuni
My father was able to teach me Hinokami Kagura before his death, even the famed 13th form he would always lecture the importance of. But in the end he was killed by a demon called Muzan the supposed leader of the devils and leaving me, only being able to use a couple of all the forms
I started surviving instead of living. Left only with the original sword owned by Yoriichi and a pair of earrings. I resorted to stealing but was caught and forced to have 3 black bar tattoos on my arm shaming me from the world. My hair grew so long that I had to tie it up and my birth scar turned into a red fire like tattoo onto the top of my forehead onto the middle in between my eyes
Just like luck, another tattoo
I even had a few run-ins with demons but in fear that Muzan would find me I would flee and barely survive from the demons I was for sure wouldn't last a second with me in a fight
But months later at 6'2 and 18 years of age I finally became tired of it all
I finally began honing my skills at Hinokami Kagura as well as my physical ability. Not caring anymore I began to threaten people with my sword and got food as well as money. With that I was finally able to buy clothes, with that I changed into a black and red kimono with a white belt that was a little loose that it hanged but it helped as a holster for my sword
And with that the hunt to kill every demon I ever came across had finally started
As the last user of Hinokami Kagura that couldn't even use all of its forms
Today it is exactly 3am, it is also exactly when the demons like to come out and play. Today I was walking down the woods since most demons sleep in cave systems my choice was to roam the forest filled with them
However my hunt had come to a halt when I heard an explosion and a lot of screaming
"So a demon comes out..Good"

Tsugikuni began running as fast as he could towards the area of his interest. And there he came face to face with a train that was obviously destroyed and with them outside were 4 men
What interested Tsugikuni was the fact that all 4 had swords, but specifically the one with bright yellow hair and red tints. He had an aura of a warrior and was obviously human
But that didnt matter to Tsugikuni
"Oi who are you?"
The deep voice seemed to startle the men since they all turned around wide eyed, but while the younger three calmed down once they realized he was human the 'warrior' did not
"I should he asking you that. A non-demon slayer with a demon slayer sword. Plus I can sense your bloodlust radiating from within in you boy"
Tsugikuni raised a brow at the swordsman calling him a boy and became interested in this 'demon slayer' group. Maybe he would join
If they were strong enough
In a blink of an eye Tsugikuni ran and slashed his sword at the swordsman who managed to raise his blade even with the sudden move
"My name is Rengoku, a Hashira within the demon slayer corp. Halt this nonsense now boy!" The now identified Rengoku spoke with a commanding tone
"Maa Maa calm down Rengoku-san..I would aslo like to join this demon slayer corp so im just merely testing your strength!" Tsugikuni screamed fighting for dominance with Rengoku was one hell of a fight. One he had never felt before
Finally giving up on the dominance Rengoku backed up from his opponent and screamed-
"Hono no Kokyu: Ichi no Kata: Shirainui!" (First Form: Unknowing fire)
Suddenly in a moments notice Rengoku's sword caught fire and blitzed his way behind Tsugikuni aiming at his arms but..
"You're not the only one to know how to use a breathing style Rengoku-san!"
"Hinokami Kagura: Shayo Tenshin!" (Setting Sun Transformation)
The 18 year old suddenly back flipped as his sword turned into flames also. But his flames burned brighter than Rengoku's, they were flames that belonged to the sun
The sword met Rengoku's own blade. Using his confusion, Tsugikuni landed and kicked Rengoku in his stomach sending him flying towards the woods
"HAHAHA WHO'S NEXT!?" The young boy with his red blade roared looking behind him at the 3 boys ready to fight whoever was next
"Yo-you know Hinokami Kagura!?" A young looking boy with the exact earrings as Tsugikuni screamed
And that was when the 18 year old boy went into shock. Ignoring the other two wimps who didnt even dare move he put his blade away and went and grabbed the boy by his collar and screamed, "HOW DID YOU GET THOSE EARRINGS!"
"Tanjiro!" The one with the boar mask screamed but he dared not move
Still ignoring the other two completely, Tsugikuni couldn't help to notice the similarities between him and Tanjiro..Could it be that he wasn't the only one left. He dropped Tanjiro and let of his commanding voice, "What is your last name Tanjiro?"
"Kamado dumbass!" Tanjiro screamed as he slammed his head against his enemy. But while it did make the red swordsman bleed from his nose instead of backing off he grinned
"Yes Tanjiro show me mo!" He screamed however caught off guard by the blade pressing behind him on his back
It was Rengoku and he was out for blood
"Get your dirty ass hands off Tanjiro bastard"
The grin on the boys face never left
"Ill let you know my name is Michikatsu Tsugikuni but as my friend you can call me michi!" He let off a annoying tone that for sure annoyed the hell out of Rengoku
"Bastard" Rengoku went to incapacitate Michi but was caught off by the sudden bloodlust
Not by Michi but by another person
A demon
Not any demon but Upper Moon 3
"I can tell by just looking at you both that you're strong men. Why not join me and become demons?"
"Why hello there my name is Michikatsu"
"I am Kyojuro Rengoku, flame Hashira"
"And I'm Akaza. How about we get this party started since I can tell by your bloodlust you wont join me"
"FINE BY ME!" Rengoku shouted stepping in first completely ignoring Michi
"Very well then, Jutsushiki Tenkai: Rashin" A snowflake appeared below Akaza and his bloodlust grew completely stopping the 3 boys from moving leaving only Rengoku and Michi
Suddenly the battle had started
Rengoku and Akakza rushed at each other
Akaza tried to smash his fist into the Hashiras face but was blocked by the blade. Then he tried his other fist but Rengoku dodged and tried to slash upwards at Akaka only for the demon to jump away
"Dont forget about me!"
Akaza only smiled and turned around to stop the blade coming for him
"What was it? Ah yes Michi-san please give me a battle because my body is telling me to just kill you and I'm not liking this feeling"
Michi laughed at Akaza's confidence
"FOOL! Hinokami Kagura: Hirin Kagero!" (Solar Heat Haze) Michi screamed getting his now lit sword free from grasp of Akaza due to the pain of his flames and swung at Akaza's abdomen
"HA! You missed"
Michi lightly laughed, "Did I?"
"Wha-" Akaza looked down at his abdomen and thus at the scorching and large wound on his stomach. This enraged him as his body began to heal he slammed his fist into Michi making him cough up blood and go flying away
Akaza sneered at his wound that healed, the scar for some reason remained. He turned to Rengoku as they prepared to fight once more but a loud and deep voice called from the darkness
"Akaza..Akaza..Akaza im sure the cells in your body tell you to run when you see me. Im impressed you've managed to suppress your memories but how about you take a good look at me" Michi came out of darkness holding his blade pointed towards Akaza who had his eyes wide when he realized he couldn't sense fighting spirit within Michi
But so did he feel shock..fear..and anger when he realized how much he looked like HIM. His cells and Muzan's memories filled his mind. Old memories of Yoriichi nearly killing Muzan came to him and with that so did his master's emotions. And he hated any emotions besides the excitement he felt in battle
"DAMN YOU"
Akaza ran towards Michi and while Rengoku wanted to intervene he had no idea what was going on so he opted to back off and figure it out on the sidelines
"Yes Muzan! It seems you left one more! One more of that mans blood" Michi screamed before also running at Akaza
Akaza screams, "Mansoyen Yanagi!" (Ten Thousands Leaves Flashing Willow) and thus he punched the ground in front of his opponent hard creating a shockwave forcing Michikatsu back but this worked for the advantage of both letting them prepare their more devastating techniques
First was Akaza, "Hyusei Senrin" (Flying Planet Thousand Wheels)
Suddenly the demon jumps and with his both legs forward he goes to kick Michi who was more than ready as he calmly said
"Hinokami Kagura: Gen'nichi Ko" (Fake Rainbow)
This technique is used to evade and he did indeed do that with suddenly disappearing from the Akaza's field of view leaving only after images of his constant moving. This caused Akaza to stop his kick and try to track down the swordsman but this was all according to plan
"This is the end Akaza!" A scream came from behind him making him turn around but nobody was there. Instead Michi was already on the other side of him in the air
"Hinokami Kagura: Shayo Tenshin" (Setting Sun Transformation)
Cutting threw his head as it laid on his arms Michikatsu grinned, "Its over Akaza"
The spectators were stunned, Rengoku was sure that his boy was obviously beyond even Hashira level and Tanjiro had many questions. His partners who had yet to be named by them but went as Inouske in the boar mask and Zenitsu were too stunned to even speak
"Hahahaha Michi you seem to know very little about demons. A little fact, us upper moons can even regenerate heads"
Suddenly Michi felt a sharp pain in his right arm as it was broken by Akaza with his bear strength and then kicked his face sending him plummeting towards the ground creating a large shockwave and crater
Akaza tried landing a killer blow at the injured swordsman but the boy still held his ground against the demon when he used his left hand and swung his blade cutting off Akakza's right hand and while it wasn't enough Rengoku finally decided to step in and cut off the left hand with his flames
However while it did buy time for Michi to stand up Akaza did not care about his hands and dropped kicked Rengoku and then moved to roundhouse Michi but luckily he stepped back and went to Rengoku
"Rengoku-san that looked like it hurt" Michi laughed pulling rengoku up
"I should be telling that to you with your broken hand and busted up face"
"Ill handle"
Both Rengoku and Michi turned to Akaza who had regrown his hands and was ready to fight once more, a sinister grin on his face and the obvious bloodlust leaking from his system
This wasn't going to be an easy battle for this unusual and new duo
