Taka logged in to his new game to look for his friends. He wore an orange pilot's outfit as he walked in an ancient temple that was treated as a base of operations. Lots of NPCs in the game were doing maintenance on some ships and fueling them up. He looked around to see some ships and was interested in the bomber the crew were fueling up. "The BTL Y-wing starfighter," a familiar voice said from behind. Taka turned to see Asuna with Lisbeth and Silica heading towards them.

"Welcome to the world of Battlefront, Taka," Asuna said. Taka nodded as he approached.

"Where are we working from exactly?" Taka asked.

"We are at the Rebel base on Yavin," Lisbeth explained. "It is hidden from the evil Galactic Empire. I'm sure it will change as the story progresses. Anyways, I see that you were eying on that Y-Wing there, no? It is armed with bombs and ion torpedos as it moves really slow."

"Sweet. Where's Kirito?"

"He is practicing his fighting skills with Leafa," Asuna said. "I'm sure he will turn up eventually."

"And Sinon?"

"Off world for some reason," Silica said. The alarm began to go off as some pilot players and NPCs ran out of a room and boarded their ships.

"Attention all flight personnel, please report to your commanders immediately," the telecom said. "We have been redirected to Scarif. Pilots, you'll be briefed by your squadron leaders on route. May the Force be with you."

"Sounds like our cue to take off," Lisbeth said. "Don't worry. This will be fun. Taka, I suggest you take that Y-Wing I prepped for you." Lisbeth, Asuna, and Silica put on their helmets and rushed to their ships as Taka did the same. He boarded the Y-Wing and then pressed buttons to start it up. The hatch to the cockpit closed and the vessel lifted off the ground. He piloted his ship out of the temple and into space above the planet. He then saw a pop up on the screen saying 'Travel to Scarif'. He tapped on the screen and he was in for a ride as he and the rest of the ships made the jump to hyperspace.

The Alliance fleet arrives out of hyperspace in orbit over the planet of Scarif. Once everyone was out, the comms were active as Taka heard the voice of the fleet's admiral. "This is Admiral Raddus of the Rebel Alliance," he reported. "All squadron leaders report in."

"Admiral, this is Blue Leader standing by," Blue Leader said.

"This is Gold Leader, standing by," Gold Leader said.

"This is Red Leader, standing by," Red Leader said. Taka was flying with Gold Squadron while Silica, Asuna and Lisbeth were flying with Red Squadron.

"Red and Gold squadrons, attack formations," Raddus ordered. "Defend the fleet. "Blue Squadron, get to the surface before they close that gate."

"They won't have long though," Asuna said. Taka piloted with the rest of Gold Squadron while Red Squadron destroyed some of the shield gate's turrets. Having lost a number of X-Wing fighters, the attack created an opening for the Y-Wings.

"Red Leader, this is Gold Leader, we're starting our attack run on the shield gate," Gold Leader reported. "Keep it tight and watch out for those towers!" Bombs began to deploy from the Y-Wings as they flew over the shield gate.

"Cover me, Lisbeth," Taka ordered as he piloted behind the rest of his squadron.

"Right behind you, Taka," Lisbeth replied as Taka began to drop some bombs. The Imperials suddenly deployed a large number of TIE Fighters from the shield gate's hangar and the Star Destroyers.

"Incoming fighters!" Asuna reported. "Watch out!" Taka broke off from his squadron with Lisbeth as TIEs began to follow behind them.

"Get these guys off of us!" Taka said as he maneuvered away from the TIE Fighters behind him. Silica fired it's lasers from her X-Wing and shot down the TIEs. The fleet was taking a beating from the Star Destroyers and fighters as the battle raged on. Taka formed up on Gold Leader's wing with the others as they flew towards the opening to attack a Star Destroyer.

"Hit that opening!" Gold leader ordered as Taka readied some ion torpedoes on his Y-Wing. He then fired it with the rest of his squadron and disabled the Star Destroyer. The battle then continued as a small Hammerhead corvette flew behind the disabled Star Destroyer as Raddus had a plan to destroy the shield gate. The corvette then rammed the side of the Star Destroyer and activated its sunlight engines at full power, pushing the disabled destroyer towards the other.

"What is that admiral thinking?!" Taka witnessed the collision between the two destroyers as it crashed to destroy the shield gate. The battle dialed down when a large space station emerged from hyperspace. Its superlaser on the station began to charge and then fired at the planet's surface.

"What was that?!" Silica asked.

"Our cue to leave," Asuna said.

"All ships, prepare to jump to hyperspace," Raddus ordered as Lisbeth and Silica, along with some of the ships made the jump. Suddenly, a Star Destroyer emerged from hyperspace in front of the fleet and fired at the Rebel capital ship. Asuna and Taka took evasive maneuvers to avoid the destroyer's guns. The destroyer then deployed a boarding party towards the capital ship that is now disabled while the fighters were distracted fighting off the rest of the TIEs.

"We can't flee, Taka. We're on our own." Taka was surprised about the counter attack. He then saw a small Corellian corvette launch from the capital ship's hangar and the two fighters flew next to it as an escort. Their screen told them where they were fleeing to the planet named Tatooine. They tapped on the screen and made the jump to lightspeed along with the corvette.
