Freddy let you sit and adjust yourself, all this had happened so quickly and you just couldn't process it. There was a few moment of long, awkward silence before Freddy spoke.

"We all went down to Parts and Service before last night's show. General check ups, they said. There was not multiple mechanics however, just one. He was registered on the employee data base so he is a verified person within the facility. I do fear something was tampered with in our friend's systems, they are performing…not to standard." He sighed a bit sadly.

Gregory piped up now, actually stamping his foot in disbelief. "Not to standard? Roxy choked me and Chica kicked me! They were trying to kill me, if I didn't escape, I wouldn't be here." He said with an aggressive scowl.

"Okay, okay." You say, raising your hands to calm the pair. "How come you're not affected, Freddy?"

Freddy crossed his heavy metal arms, such a human gesture. "I feel like the general reset must have counteracted whatever malicious coding was put inside us. My friends are not themselves and there is no possible way they would want to or physically could do this with their safety programming. We are prioritised to never harm children and they have openly hurt Gregory." His head shook meekly in dismay.

You nodded your head, knowing they never could do that. Maybe Monty if he was that pissed but to openly hurt children? He wouldn't ever want to. As much as he was your grumpy gator, he wouldn't lash out to try and kill. That got you thinking, turning to Freddy. "We could gather them all up and secure them down. Maybe trying to talk to them might help? I l…I would like to make sure the girls and Monty are okay…"

Freddy smiled sweetly, he could see your feelings for Monty grew daily. "Yes, they may answer some questions. It will take all three of us to get them into a secure position. But where would a secure location be…?" Both you and Freddy pondered on it.

A secure place…Monty's claws would be an issue, they could cut through most chain gates. All of them could easily smash glass too! You would need to disable them to get close.

"We could use the Fazerblasters to stun them and if I'm quick enough, I can get to their power buttons. We would need to be as precise as possible though." You got up and went to Freddy's meet and greet area, knowing inside was a gold marker and paper, used for signatures. "If I'm going to be close and personal with them, someone will need to shoot the gun into their eyes." You look up to see if Freddy will volunteer but he shook his head.

"I am so sorry, Y/N. My programming means I am forbidden to shoot a Fazerblaster into anyone's eyes. I could not physically do it." He looked a bit guilty. He wanted to be of more help but he was still bound by his electronics confines.

"Don't worry, I can do it!" Gregory nodded to himself. "I've got a really good aim, I won't miss." You wasn't sure if you trusted this kid but there was no one else.

"There are two other people in the building though, Vanessa and a new hygiene team hire. We need either get them out or team up with them. If I'm being honest, it would be best to have more people. In terms of difficulty, Chica would be the easiest to restrain as her power switch is accessible as her maintenance plate is on her back. Then Roxy seems more aggressive and has teeth and then there is Monty…We can plan this all we want but we will have to tackle whoever comes first." You were secretly hoping it was Monty but you knew seeing him trying to hurt you and others would be hard to stomach.

Freddy got up, picking Gregory up in his arms and was gently rocking him without putting too much thought into it, Gregory not complaining. If it wasn't a stressful situation, you'd be thinking it was rather cute. "We will search the usual routes for them, we must bare in mind that the daycare attendant will be walking the facility too. Sun stays inside the daycare but Moon explores. We should get him too."

Thinking about Moon made you shiver, what a creepy bastard! The thought of how protective Monty was of you that day made you a little warm all over. "Okay, we can do this. Let's get the blaster then." You say as you grab your bag and head out. Freddy did something rather sweet, holding Gregory but bent down and held your hand in his. It was romantic but just protective in such an endearing way. You softly smile up at him, free hand patting his for comfort.

Working your way through the mall wasn't easy. You and Freddy didn't set off the security bots but Gregory would, keeping him hidden would be top priority. Coming out of Rockstar Row, you made your way to the central stage area. There was no sign of any humans around, it being just robots was a little eerie. The three of you were trying to be completely silent but Freddy was definitely what you'd call a 'stomper'. His heavy footed ass shook tables as he went past!

"F-Freddy! Look…maybe it's best if you wait on the main stage. I know we need you to help pick up the others and take them to a safe place but you're going to get us caught. You're…a little heavy footed." You say bashfully, you didn't want to embarrass or upset him.

Freddy did pause a little at that, "Oh…well, I will wait for you. That is no issue. That way I will not miss the hourly recharge, the charging stations will be close by." He shot you a goofy grin and you relaxed when he wasn't worried by it.

"We will contact you on the Fazwatch if we need anything, don't worry." Gregory waved at him, seemingly having a lot more trust in you now Freddy was a confirmed friend. Freddy was a little worried looking but nodded, standing by the stage stairs. You took Gregory's hand and went with him, heading to the second floor. You could hear Chica calling out Gregory's name in the distantly creepily, that not helping settle your nerves.

"We will need to complete the game to get the blaster we need, the doors won't open if we try to leave with the normal ones. We need that novelty one." You whisper as you both creep behind some fake plants. Straight down from your location, you see someone moving. A human! You didn't really know what to do, panicking and grabbing Gregory, both jumping inside a shuttered booth. You could only peak out a tiny gap at the shutters handle, one hand over Gregory's mouth so he didn't even squeak.

You peek out as the new staff member walked past, you couldn't get a good look at his face however. He was very skinny and slightly on the shorter side, having chocolate brown hair with curls. Gregory started to tap your hand for air, you let go quickly but it caused him to gasp loudly. The guy turned suddenly, arm raised. In his hand was fire axe, holy shit. This guy wasn't playing games.

It meant he was aware of the situation though, he was trying to protect himself. His body already was heavily bruised by the looks of it, he had bandages all over him so they must have hurt him pretty bad. His first day and he got completely fucked up. One thing struck you as weird though, he could just leave. He had a staff card after all! But he was still here…you didn't get much time for thoughts as he approached where you were, both you and Gregory ducked down and dropped to them floor. You both laid flat under the shutter he decided to peek into, shining his flashlight inside. You both held your breaths as he tried his best to look about inside. The light slowly vanished and ha could be heard walking away quickly.

"Damn." You whisper to Gregory. "I can't tell if he is friendly or not. Let's not push him for now, yeah?" You slowly sit up, body covering his to make sure he was safe. You both get up, peering out again to make sure he was actually gone. Luckily, he was. You slowly left the booth with Gregory, backing up with him behind you. There was no point getting the right tickets to get in when you could just break in! This kid would be here till opening if he was messing around with that sort of stuff, knowing Freddy, if you hadn't come in it would have been that way too.

"We need to head through the vents, we can probably pop out in the games area or if we are lucky, we can come above the actual blaster we need." You tried to remember the layout from all your cleaning trips as you went toward the vent entrance above Mazercise. You couldn't be certain but you were pretty sure they all connected. You and Gregory drag over a caution bot, it's bright yellow eyes just staring at you.

"I'm sorry, little buddy." You place a hand on the wall, putting your leg up on its little metal body before climbing up to the vent. You knew they were flimsy as fuck, they just looked metal but they were in fact spray painted plastic. Another cost cutting measure Fazbear Entertainment was famous for among the staff. You used your elbow to slam down on it, breaking a few panels. It hurt like a bitch but it had to be done. You rub your elbow before climbing in, they were all people sized luckily.

You turn around inside the vent, seeing the main area in its full. You felt your body go cold when you saw Chica running up behind Gregory. She must have spotted you climbing into the vent and was closing the gap fast.

"Greeeeegory!" She called, the ground shaking a bit as she got closer. You quickly drop your arms down, reaching down.

"Jump up, now! Come on!" You desperately clutched at him as he climbed up, having full trust in you as he jumped up. Your hands gripped his forearms and you yanked him hard up, Chica's hand just missing his ankle. You pull him up to you as your heart raced, "Fuck! We can't hang around."

"T-That was too close." Even Gregory was pushing you down the vent now. You both quickly shuffle through, once you were round a corner you both stopped to catch your breath and bearings. That was way too close for comfort.

You nod your head as you adjust yourself before crawling through, Gregory right on your heels. Luckily, neither of you were claustrophobic! You were crawling about together, just having to guess to the best of your abilities where the fuck you were.

It was just your luck that you guessed completely wrong and popped out the far side of the arcade. "Ah…wrong guess." You mumble.

"Do you even work here? This is so far from where we need to be." Gregory scoffed a bit and he earned a glare from you.

"You wanna go in front and lead them. Kid?" If you could put your hands on your hips and be the scary adult, you would.

Gregory gave a face but crossed his arms in protest. "Go on." He huffed a just a bit.

"We need to go a little more east, we can-" The entire vent suddenly started shaking, knocking you both over. "What the hell-" you peer out the vent slats to see one giant black eye staring into your soul. You had forgotten all about the DJ. If he was corrupted, you'd all be fucked. Before you could even yell to run, a giant finger came through the vent and crushed your leg- trying to pull you out like you were a Pringle in a can. You screamed as pain shot up your legs. "G-Gregory, run!!"

The panic over the kid's face was clear as he yelled for Freddy on his Fazwatch, running back into the vent and away from the DJ. You weren't so lucky. You were pulled out by the huge spider which made you a yell louder. You didn't want this, not at all. The strength he had was crushing your ankle, feeling all your bones and muscles being pulled the wrong way. The DJ held you by just your leg, a deafening screech noise being heard through gritty sounding speakers. It was the DJ giving a security alert. You ended up reaching up and gripping his finger so he couldn't drop you and kill you. When you looked down, you saw a very familiar face. Monty was below you, walking with his claws flexed an teeth bared. His red eyes were directly staring at you and there was no softness or light behind them. Just sheer rage and anger and he wanted to hurt you. The DJ started to lower you down to him, Monty's claws slashing at your body.

"B-Baby, stop! Monty! Don't do this-" you felt his claws make contact with your face and everything went black.
