***********I Do not own fairy tail, no matter how I wish I did. This is only fun for me.************

*****************I post slowly so I apologize.*****************

Returning from yet another mission gone wrong, I decided to leave team Natsu. Arriving at the guild, I looked around before spotting the thunder tribe on the second floor. Making my way to them, ignoring the looks from the guild and the stares from Natsu and Erza, I went to stand next to Bixslow.

"Hey, Bix. Feel like playing some truth or dare with me?" I asked, raising my eyebrow in challenge. "I'd understand of your too scared though. Takes a fearless person to play after all." The guild was shocked silent by my words.

"I'm always up for a game, cosplayer. You know it takes more than two to play, right?" Bix said, moving to make room for me between himself and Freed.

"I figured if you had the guts to play, surely Freed and Laxus would too." I smiled at him.

"That's a brave game you're playing, Blondie." Laxus laughed. "I'm in."

"I shall play as well. I am quite curious about many things and this game should prove enlightening." Freed agreed.

"Perfect. I'll start. Bix, truth or dare?" I looked at him expectantly.

"Dare."

"I dare you to go the rest of this game using my actual name."

"Damn, Lucy. What happens if I slip?" Bix asked.

"Penalty games will be decided at the end." I smirked.

"Alright then. Freed, truth or dare?" Bix looked past me.

"Truth."

"Is there someone you have an interest romantically in the guild?"

"Yes." Freed answered calmly. "Laxus?"

"Dare." Laxus leveled a look of challenge.

"I dare you to let Miss Lucy wear your coat." Freed gestured to me; my clothes torn from the last mission. I had given up changing before coming back to the guild, as Natsu always burned my clothes anyways. Laxus grunted a bit but put his warm coat over me, once again shocking the guild.

"Blondie, truth or dare?"

"Dare, Laxus." I smiled.

"I dare you to join my team for at least the next 3 months." Laxus smirked.

"Easy." I agreed. "Bix starts next."

"Alrighty, Lucy. Truth or dare, boss man."

"Truth."

"What is one place you always wanted to visit?"

"Not a particular place. But somewhere excluded, with a nice forest or mountain that's only slightly developed." Laxus said.

"You should have seen my old estates then. It had both a forest and a mountain plus a beach. Only a small servant's village and the manor around for miles." I smiled fondly.

"Is it still for sale?" Freed asked suddenly.

"I believe so." I replied confused.

"Freed. Truth or dare?" Laxus asked.

"Truth."

"Are you thinking about buying her old estate now?" Laxus laughed when a blush formed on Freed's cheeks.

"Yes. It seems like a perfect place to get away from it all." Freed replied, trying to sound matter of fact.

"Miss Lucy?"

"Dare."

"I dare you to stay with me in my house during the 3 months you're a part of our team." Freed smiled.

"Alright." I agreed.

"What is going on here? You can't take my Luce like that!" Natsu ran up the stairs.

"I believe we just did." Laxus said zapping him with his lightning.

"Damn it. Thanks to the idiot I never got a chance to dare Lucy." Bix huffed.

"What would you have dared me to do, Bix?" I asked.

"To kiss me." Bix muttered.

I smiled, put my hand on his cheek, and kissed him on the lips. "Can't have you disappointed, now, can I?"

"Damn. That's a good kiss." Bix said after a moment of stunned silence.

"I'll call Virgo to move my belongings, if that's alright Freed."

"That's just fine." Freed said, his face beet red.

"What? Do you want a kiss too?" I teased.

"What? N….no… I'll go get the spare room ready for you." Freed hurried out of the guild.

"Hey, Blondie. Would you have kissed him too of he said yes?" Laxus asked.

"Yes. Admittedly you three are probably the only ones in the guild I'd kiss. Bix should just be happy my boyfriend is cool with sharing." I laughed as Laxus' face turned red too.

"You have a boyfriend?" Bix asked.

"Yah. It's a long-distance thing though, so I barely see him. He's cool with polygamy, so you don't need to worry about him hunting you down or anything." I called Virgo and asked her to move all my things over and give my key to the landlady when she was done. I figured Freed wouldn't mind me staying longer, and if it didn't work out, I was planning on moving with my boyfriend before this.

"Will we get to meet this boyfriend?" Bix asked.

"You already met him once technically. And you didn't get along. Maybe one day, but I'd have to be sure there'd be no drama." I sighed. I doubted anyone in the guild would approve.

"We wouldn't judge ya, Blondie." Laxus assured me, leading me to Freed's house.

"Would you say that if the guy I was dating made Cobra look like an angel?" I asked.

Laxus and Bix both stopped in front of a nice 2 story house. Laxus opened the door and led me into the living room. "Blondie, even if you were dating Zeref we wouldn't judge you. Even with how little we know about you, we know if you believe in someone that much, there's a reason for it and we trust that judgment." Laxus leveled a look at me.

"What is being talked about?" Freed came in the living room.

"Cosplayer has a boyfriend who is cool with polygamy, and she asked if we'd be accepting even if they were considered evil." Bix summed.

"Then I agree with Laxus. You don't mind us, even after knowing about my inner demon, Bix's figure eyes, and Laxus trying to take over and ignoring your peril with Phantom Lord. If you are dating someone, they can't be all bad." Freed said, sitting in a chair.

"She also said the three of us are the only ones in the guild she'd kiss." Laxus added, laughing at the blush now covering Freed's face. "So, you can tell us if you want, Blondie."

"It's not Zeref, but that was a close guess." I sighed before resolving myself. "It's Acnologia. I'm dating the Chaos Dragon Acnologia."

"Your dating a dragon? And he doesn't mind sharing?" Laxus confirmed slowly.

"He's not really a dragon." I look at Laxus. Just before I was about to continue, Virgo appeared handing me my communication lacrima. I smiled, seeing it was from Acnologia and went ahead and answered it in front of my new team.

"Did you move, Star?" Acnalogia's voice came from the lacrima.

"Kind of, Chaos. I left team Natsu then was dared to join the thunder tribe for at least 3 months, living with one of them during that time." I explained.

"As a protection due the Natsu? Isn't that the team with those guys you also think are cute?" Chaos teased.

"Yes, to both. I'm in the living room with them right now, actually." I shifted the lacrima to show the three who were looking shocked.

"So, they know about us then, my Star? What did they think?"

"They said they trust my judgement but are dumbfounded about a dragon willing to share." I smiled when that finally broke them out of their shock. "Are we still on for our date tomorrow?"

"Of course. You can introduce us properly then if you'd like. I just wanted to make sure you made it home safely this time."

"What do you mean this time?" Laxus asked, a slight growl in his voice.

"He's so protective already." Chaos observed. "I found my Star unconscious in a field about 5 months ago after Natsu's team left her behind to turn in their poorly completed quest. I was about to leave her there when I felt the pull and before I knew it, I had taken her into a cave I was staying at. There I helped her get better and we ended up dating. A week later she was back at her guild and found out Natsu said she ditched them. And Star is correct on my being alright with polygamy. I am over 500 years old, and all I care about is seeing my Star shine."

"Why does she call you Chaos?" Freed asked.

"I put a taboo spell on my name some time back, so I know when, where, and who says my name. It was the easiest way to hunt other dragons back in the day. I'd prefer if you'd all do the same." Chaos said. "Star, Cancer said there was a way to change my scent and now only your team knows who I really am. What do you think of me joining your guild with your new team?"

I glanced at Laxus, who nodded his approval. "I'd like that a lot honestly. I'll have Cancer do his thing when we meet tomorrow, and we can get you signed up too."

"We were talking about taking a mission the day after, so the timing works out perfectly." Laxus said. "There's a few wyverns that need cleaned up in the mountains north of the capital. Figured it would be a good chance for you to stretch your magic, Blondie."

"How about I come over there now so we can still have our date tomorrow?" Chaos suggested.

"That would work best. Natsu is likely to throw a fit when your introduced as Miss Lucy's boyfriend. Do you need us to meet you outside the town?" Freed asked.

"Star knows where to go. See you soon, my dear." Chaos ended the call.

"So let me ask before we go out there. Would you three want to be my boyfriends as well? Chaos will ask and I'd rather have an answer for him beforehand." I looked at them.

"I would enjoy that." Freed said.

"Hell yah, Cosplayer!" Bix said, his totems around him agreeing.

"Looks like you got yourself a guard of boyfriends, Blondie. Though I'd rather not be called a boy." Laxus winked.

"You could be my girlfriend then." I joked back, Bix falling out of his chair laughing.

"I walked right into that, didn't I?" Laxus hung his head.

"Yep." I agreed, popping the p. "Let's go."

I led them to a clearing a distance away, arriving just in time for Chaos to come out of the woods, his long spiky navy hair shifting slightly with the breeze. He was wearing his navy baggy pants, no shoes or shirt, and his tattered black cloak. His eyes lit when he saw me, a slight blush forming on his tanned skin that had navy markings similar to his markings on his scales as a dragon. I summoned Cancer who quickly changed Chaos' scent, Laxus confirming his wouldn't be mistaken as the Dragon form. Cancer warned Chaos his dragon form would smell like the old scent while his human form would now have this scent. After introductions were made, Laxus led us all back to the guild to see Gramps.

Entering the guild, Laxus led us straight to the office, I only barely noted Natsu and Erza were at a table near the corner of the room. Gramps asked a few questions, but soon Chaos had a navy guild mark on his hand, same as mine, and we both were officially part of the thunder tribe. Walking out, I decided to get the drama over in the beginning and led Chaos to Mira at the bar.

"Hey Mira. Can I get a strawberry shake? Chaos would like something strong, right?" I asked him, smiling.

"Yes." Chaos confirmed, sitting next to me with his hand on my back.

"Coming right up!" Mira said and quickly brought our drinks. "So, who is this, Lucy? You been keeping secrets?"

"Chaos, this is Mira. Mira, this is my boyfriend Chaos. You could say that." I winked at her.

"Oh! How did you meet? I want all the details!" Mira squealed.

"You know how 5 months ago Team Natsu just kinda left me behind?" I asked, knowing most of the guild was listening in. Mira nodded excitedly. "I told you I was found by someone who helped me. Chaos was that someone. During the time he helped me, we just kinda fell for each other. Honestly, if it wasn't for Laxus asking me to join his team and allowing Chaos to join too, I was about to quit the guild because of them."

"That is so adorable!" Mira said before promptly glaring at Natsu.

I leaned in to whisper to Chaos, "Your about to see why no one messes with Mira."

We watched as Mira walked over to Natsu's table, a smile on her face. When she got there, she looked at him with eyes that did not match her smile. "Natsu. Want to explain why you ditched Lucy somewhere?"

"Her own fault for getting knocked out." Natsu said, not realizing the danger he was in. "Besides, it's not like Erza helped her either."

Mira shifted into her she-devil form and punched Natsu right in the face, sending him through the wall behind him. She glared at Erza, who promptly ran out claiming to need to find Natsu. Mira shifted back and came back over to the bar smiling. "Your drinks are on Natsu today." She said before going to give Gramps a beer.

"Did not see that coming." Chaos said, looking shocked.

"Neither did Natsu." I said, laughing. Behind us we heard Bix and Laxus laughing too while Freed failed to hide his smile. "Ready to go, Laxus?" I asked, both of us finishing our drinks.

Before we got to the door, we saw Gildarts come in, Chaos moving to my other side. I remembered then that those two had fought, leaving a major problem if Gildarts recognized him somehow. Chaos was in his dragon form, but Gildarts was able to sense him before we saw him on Tenrou. Gildarts looked at us, eyes briefly resting on Chaos, before he kept walking in. We started back out when Gildarts called.

"Hey, have we met before?" Gildarts was looking at Chaos.

"I doubt it. I only recently moved to Fiore and have been mostly keeping to myself." Chaos said.

"And saving princesses." Mira added in with a wink.

"Saving princesses? Where'd you live before? You just seem really familiar." Gildarts stepped over to us.

"The Empire. I regularly sparred with Emperor Spriggan. Mira means I rescued my Star here when her former team left her in a field unconscious. We are dating now." Chaos responded, keeping eye contact.

"That's quite rude of them. Naw, I must have been mistaken then. I've never been to the Empire. Take good care of our light, would ya?" Gildarts said before going over to Gramps.

We all left and when we made it into Freed's house, we all let out a sigh of relief. I looked at Chaos before laughing, collapsing in a chair nearby.

"You know how badly that will mess with them once they know who Emperor Spriggan is?" I asked.

"I am aware. I doubt it'll be long before they know as well. He's been getting annoyed at Mavis' taunting him. I find it odd how she's kept such a key part of Fairy Tail's origin a secret." Chaos sighed.

"What are you talking about?" Freed asked cautiously.

"Emperor Spriggan is Zeref. And the origin of Fairy Tail is that Laxus' great grandfather and his friends went to Tenrou to rob it of a treasure only to find out it was stolen earlier. They ended up taking Mavis with them, who was the sole survivor of the Tenrou massacre. Together they tracked the treasure to Magnolia and the Blue Skull guild. When trying to take back the treasure, they found their magic lacking and went to try and practice about where the guild is now. After a few weeks Zeref stumbled upon them, and Mavis ended up convincing him to teach them magic. During which time Mavis fell for Zeref, but he refused her advances because he's a cursed dark wizard. She managed to convince him to teach her the spell Law which is a forbidden lost spell of which your Fairy Law was born. She promised never to use Law as it could have consequences. During the final battle with Blue Skull, Mavis proclaimed herself a dark wizard then ended up using Law, becoming cursed with a weaker version of the curse that has tormented Zeref for more than 400 years. Zeref had suggested Mavis form a guild during their training and warned her of the curse when he saw her after the battle, but she ignored it. She did build the guild as suggested and Laxus' great grandfather eventually got married and had a kid, Makarov. They asked Mavis to name him, and she chose the name of a fairy king from her stories. It was at that moment of happiness that her curse activated and took the life of Makarov's mother. The curse is the curse of contradiction. The more one respects the sanctity of life, the more the curse will take the life of those around you. Some of you saw that on Tenrou when Zeref was surrounded by that black cloud." Chaos finished, before taking a long drink of tea Freed had served during the story.

"There's always been a secret fifth founder of Fairy Tail that we acknowledge existed even if their name wasn't recorded. Who would have guessed it was Zeref." Freed said, staring at the table in thought.

"That's not the end of the story. After Mavis' curse killed her, she took off. After wondering for a while, she ended up being found by Zeref again. They traveled together and she fell deeper in love with him. He grew to be content with her presence, which was a mistake. One day she took him by surprise and kissed him. In his shock he kissed her back, their curses activating at the emotion. Zeref's curse is stronger, so Mavis ended up in a coma like state. The magic between them needed a new way to be released since Mavis was unable to and ended up becoming a child born of the two of them. Neither parent is aware they have a child. Mavis could wake up should her astral form be destroyed." Chaos looked at the shocked members of his team.

"Honestly, that's almost as messed up as Zeref's origin." I sighed.

"Star, how do you know his origin?" Chaos looked at me intently.

"You're not the first villain I met, Chaos. I ran into him about a year before you. He sought me out to give me Aquarius' key as he said he felt bad I had to break it because of Tartarus. We ended up talking and I confronted him about something I noticed, and he confirmed it, telling me his story." I glanced between my team and sighed. "Hang on." I pulled out my lacrima and called Zeref's, having convinced him to at least allow contact due to our connections.

After a few moments, the lacrima flashed and revealed Zeref's face. "Hello, Lucy. It has been a while since I last heard from you. I started to think you figured out you shouldn't be talking to me." His voice was surprised and kinda sad.

"As if I would let other's opinions influence me? I was actually meaning to call you for the last few months but never got the courage to do so. Can we meet? There's a lot I would like to tell you and it would be far easier to do so in person then over lacrima." I asked, looking to the side where Chaos sat.

"I am nearby at the moment actually. I had noticed an anomaly and was looking into it. I will be at the cove where we met." He smiled slightly then ended the call.

"That seemed oddly civil for the worlds most feared black wizard. I hope he won't be bothered by us coming with you." Freed said, getting up and heading to the door. He let us all out then locked the door, using magic runes as extra protection.

"Just got to ask before we go. Star, are you also dating these three?" Chaos looked at me.

"Yes. We talked about it just after that call." I smiled.

"Alright. You could date Zeref too, you know? Your magic would prevent his curse from affecting you. Don't know how, but your magic reads as not exactly human but more like what a celestial being would."

"Um…. Ok…. I... I'll think about that." I stutter, my face beat red.

I led them to a cliff a ways from the town and down a barely noticeable path to a cove hidden by the cliff and sharp turn of the rocks. Sitting on the beach, looking peaceful as possible, was Zeref in a black top and pants, shoes, and cloak farther up the bleach to keep them dry. He looked at me when we rounded the turn, eyes widening slightly at my company. I waved to him and stopped us a short distance from him.

"Hey, Zeref. Sorry I didn't tell you I'd be bringing company but some of this would be easier with them here. I'm sure you already know of them, but these are Laxus, Freed, and Bixslow. They are my new team. I know you know Chaos. Guys, this is Zeref." I pointed at each as I was introducing them.

"A warning would have been appreciated. However, I am more concerned that you know Chaos well enough to be so close to him." Zeref stood up.

"Star should know me as we are dating." Chaos said in a grumble.

"Chaos, be good." I chided lightly. "I'm Chaos' mate so… He won't hurt me. Plus, he's a member of my new team and of Fairy Tail. Just for heads up, these 3 are also my boyfriends, so there's that."

Zeref looked between me and Chaos before glancing at the others, all who nodded. "That is something I would not have believed over a call. I take it Chaos told them about my being Spriggan?"

"Yes, and some other things. He told us about the origin of Fairy Tail and your hand in it. There's a few things I'd like to have explained, if you don't mind, so that all of us are on the same page." Zeref gave me a go ahead. "I would like to tell my team about your origin and our connections because of it, what END really is, and I'd like to share Chaos' origin too. Plus, something to do with the origin of Fairy Tail you are unaware of." I glanced at him, who grimaced then nodded. "Cancer changed Chaos' human form's scent so no one will recognize him, and due to that I asked if he could change you enough to keep you from being recognized, and he can give you an item that will change your appearance and scent while you wear it, so you could have a new identity without giving up your other ones."

"What about my curse?" Zeref asked, clearly wishing for that to be possible.

"Star's magic can suppress it so long as you are within 100 meters of her now that she has gotten stronger. She wasn't quite strong enough back on Tenrou." Chaos explained. "Her magic is like that of the celestials' and just being near her makes the curse slumber."

"I could have a normal life?" Zeref looked shocked, his words shocking the other three.

"If you want one, after we talk." I smiled at him.

The sun had long since set by the time Zeref and Chaos had finished explaining their stories, Zeref still editing his brother's name out of habit. Laxus, Freed, and Bix were silent, thinking about what they had learned and how this truth could change everything. Freed had gotten out a notebook and written everything down for personal reference.

"So, both of you are immortal?" Laxus asked, a grim look on his face. They nodded. "And the 1st master knows this, as well as your curse?" He looked at Zeref who nodded again. "But still tried causing a war between us that would only end in our deaths? Why?"

"I have no answer for that, and neither do they." I said. "Zeref, out of habit you prevented yourself from explaining END so if you don't mine, I will." Zeref sighed then nodded. "END is Etherious Natsu Dragneel, younger brother of Zeref Dragneel."

"Natsu is END?" Bix said, jumping up.

"That would mean that Natsu died once already, wouldn't it?" Freed asked, looking back at his notes.

"Yes." Zeref said grimly.

"So not only are you and Cosplayer connected because of her ancestor but because of Natsu too? He's nearly killed her a lot, you know?" Bix said.

"I have become aware of that, yes." Zeref nodded.

Cancer popped in at that moment to hand Zeref a simple looking silver bracelet. Zeref put it on, and his black hair took on a slightly purple hue and his eyes turned amethyst. Cancer explained the colors were because of his natural magic, which was darkness, before popping away again.

"One last thing before we take you to our home, if Freed doesn't mind." Freed commenting, he expected that Zeref would be staying with us. "August is yours and Mavis' son born of the magic built from the curses acting against each out. Chaos was the one who noticed but didn't think it was his place to say anything." I looked at Zeref, who looked shocked then resigned.

"That would explain a lot. I think I will use Sai for my new name. I can hardly be called by Zeref in town."

"You have a point, Sai. Let's see if master is still at the guild to get you joined without the drama tomorrow. Oh, and Chaos suggested we date as well." I smiled at the now blushing Sai and stammering Chaos.

We went to the guild just in time to catch gramps and get Sai registered as a new member of the guild and our team. The 6 of us headed back to Freed's house, Sai staying in my room while Chaos stayed in Evergreen's former room. Evergreen had left the tribe to partner with Elfman and rarely showed up at Freed's anymore. The next morning, we all went to the guild to see what was going on for the day before Chaos and I went out for our date. Sai had decided he'd still use Dragneel as his last name, figuring no one really would believe Zeref was Natsu's brother and wanting a reason to confront Natsu of his treatment of me. Chaos and I both wanted to see the confrontation, which is part of why we were following them to the guild first. When we walked in, we saw Natsu and Erza sitting at their normal table, Gray was sitting at the bar as far from the table as he could be.

"Hey Gray. You're not with them today?" I asked, walking over with Sai and Chaos on either side of me. Laxus, Freed and Bix all went up to their table, where we'd join after ordering our food.

"Naw. I left last night just after you. I don't know what got into them, but they changed in a bad way." Gray stood to leave after finishing his drink.

"I'd stay for a moment if I were you, Gray. I think you'll enjoy what's coming." I smiled at him before placing our order with Mira and heading upstairs with Chaos.

Sai looked at Natsu then sighed before heading over to them, the guild becoming quiet as he did so. "Natsu, we need to talk."

"Yah? And who are you?" Natsu glared at him.

"I should feel offended you can't even recognize me, but you must have taken one too many hits to the head so, I'll forgive your memory problems." Sai smirked. "For your sake I'll introduce myself. I am Sai Dragneel, your older brother and the one who left you with Igneel."

There was a collective gasp from the guild at this, some shocked at Sai's choice of words, some at Natsu having a brother, and a few at the realization that Sai was my friend and clearly knew how Natsu treated me. Honestly, I think this is the quietest I have ever heard the guild, and I smirked knowing the only person who could call Sai out was Mavis, who would have to explain how she knew Zeref and why she kept it to herself, so we were safe.

"I don't remember having a brother." Natsu said, standing to level a glare at Sai.

"You were only 5 when I left you with Igneel, so I guess that is to be expected. Still, I didn't realize I meant that little to you, Natsu. However, that is beside the point. All I wanted to tell you was that our parents, and Igneel if I was to be honest, would be disappointed in you at how you treated your guildmate. I am ashamed of you, as your brother, and you are the exact reason I decided to move here and join Fairy Tail. After all, I can't let someone as wonderful as Lucy believe all Dragneel's are monsters like you. I doubt Zeref would treat his comrades the way you treated her." Sai said, meeting Natsu's glare with one of his own. The thunder tribe shared a knowing look at the last part, since we knew what that would do to everyone when it inevitably came out who Sai and Chaos really were.

"Did you just say I was worse than that bastard? Who the hell do you think you are to spout that crap to me? Lucy is just some weak loser who needs others to protect her, and you're just another loser if you want to stand up for that brat." Natsu's fist became engulfed in flames.

"I do believe I told you who I am, but I guess you are too dumb to remember, dear brother. You need to learn how to listen and some patience, if you don't want to lose anyone else the way you lost Igneel. Had you not been so headstrong and stupid, Igneel would still be within you, as would the other dragons still be within their children. You are why everyone lost their parents when fighting in Tartaros. And for your information, it was Lucy who saved your life before Zeref saved your skin. Did you forget that? Lucy managed to summon the Spirit King at great cost to herself, distracting the leader who had you soundly defeated and was about to kill you and Gray, and when that long fight was lost Zeref showed up and just ended the guy. There were other witnesses besides just you and Gray. If you hadn't tried to use Dragon Overdrive when you had no magic left then Acnologia wouldn't have shown up and Igneel wouldn't have had to come forward and get killed because you were stupid enough to try to do something you knew you were too weak to handle just because you couldn't accept that you lost. You claim you could beat Zeref easily, when you couldn't beat Lucy if she was serious in fighting you. Of the dragon slayers, you might be able to out fight most, but that's only because you don't care about the consequences when you fight, and you always pay for it after. Each slayer is learning how you go past your limit and are slowly becoming stronger then you and, most importantly, are becoming better then you, as they don't let their guildmates become casualties in their fights. If you can't understand such simple things, then I would hate to be there when you meet our parents in the afterlife." Sai was shaking at the end, not used to being able to express himself so openly without worrying about the curse. I could see it still existed, but I felt my magic reach out to him and the curse quieted down.

The guild was still, waiting on some reaction from Natsu, who was just staring at Sai seemingly too shocked to do anything. After only a few tense moments later, Erza stood and pointed a sword at Zeref. "I don't care who you are, but you have no rights to say those things to Natsu."

"Going to hurt another guildmate, Erza? You only seem to react with violence and hurting people who are supposed to be able to trust you. I wonder how many other 'friends' you've led to their deaths? Who all have been hurt by your anger when you should have been protecting them? Jellal, Simon, Rob, me. We are only a short list of your victims. If not for Freed's runes that one time, I would have died by your blade. Yet you point your sword at someone who is entirely in the right, just because you don't like what he has to say?" I walked over and put my arm around Sai's waist, leaning in when he put his around my shoulders. "Sai, you wasted enough time on these jerks. Laxus said he'd show you around the town while Chaos and I go on our date."

"Alright. I expected better of Natsu, but now I see he's just as lost a cause as you said he was." Sai let me start to lead him away when he pushed me aside in time to miss an attack from behind.

I turned to glare at Erza who seemed mildly surprised that she missed. Looking between us, Erza decided to make me her target and swung at me again, I easily stepped out of the way of each swing, a bored expression on my face. Erza got more and more aggressive with each miss, unable to accept that I dodged her attacks so easily.

"Gate of the Goat, Capricorn Star Dress!" I jumped; my clothes changed into the Star Dress I chose. Landing I shifted into a stance before pushing off at Erza, attacking back with both punches and kicks, leaving a shocked Erza defending against my volley. I ended the short fight with a fake out left before shifting behind and kicking her hard in the back of her head from the right. Erza hit the ground hard, unconscious, before I turned to level a glare at Natsu, daring him to try something. I could feel the shocked looks from the guild at my beating Erza, but I didn't care anymore. Natsu just sat down, looking like he just saw Zeref doing the Can-Can. I shifted back to my normal clothes, and headed up the stairs, Sai just behind me wearing the biggest grin.

Chaos and I left for our very nice but uneventful date while the other 4 went to show Sai around, staying withing the city where he'd be protected by my magic. While at the guild, Erza was just left on the ground where she fell. The Tribe were getting to know the real Sai, and found him far different then they could have predicted. However, of their conversations, what shocked them the most was when Bix finally asked the one question they had been thinking.

"So, Sai. How did you meet Cosplayer?" Bix asked, they were stopped at a café for lunch.

"It's not a good story. You know how that cove we were at has the overhang?" Sai kept his eyes on the table.

"Yah. It's really dangerous at the point." Laxus said, curious where Sai was going.

"I saw her throw herself from that point. I acted on instinct and dove in after her. I barely got her up to the shore when her spirit Loki showed up and gave her CPR. I couldn't risk trying that myself, for obvious reasons. Once she was back with us, I sat with her until she recovered. Then she just broke down and told me everything she'd been through, while somehow demanding answers for what I did." Sai glanced at the others, seeing the looks of horror on their faces.

"Blondie tried to take her own life?" Laxus asked slowly.

"Yes. Natsu tried telling her she was his mate, which obviously she isn't, but that she should get used to how he is, since he believed she belonged to him. She didn't want to live with that, so she tried. I cleared up that Natsu won't have a mate as bright as her, as he is part Etherious. She hugged me and cried, and I have never been so confused as I was in that moment." Sai took a deep breath.

"Thank you. Miss Lucy is someone who could never be replaced. I never would have imagined anything could break her like that. Natsu is a monster for treating her that way." Freed said through gritted teeth, his eyes purple with black instead of white.

"Freed, breathe." Laxus put his hand on Freed's shoulder, who closed his eyes and took a few calming breaths. When he opened his eyes again they were back to his normal green. "Freed has an inner demon who has somewhat claimed Lucy in some way." Laxus told Sai.

"Oh. Alright." Sai said, brushing it off as normal.

"Yah. I'm a Seith Mage from birth, just so that's out already." Bix gave Sai his goofy grin.

"That's not a common magic, much less to be born as one." Sai gave Bix a look on respect.
