Begin Again - An Orc's Journey

Chapter One - The Outlander

There was a time in the world of Nirn, on the continent of Tamriel, long before the infamous Red Year yet some years after the fall of Dagoth Ur and his cult, where a soul would come to an alien land, that soul was known as Shurza Bitter-Root.

Shurza Bitter-Root was an orc woman or an Orsimer as some would call her kind, who once was meant to live out a dull life as a simple miner within her clan somewhere in the land of Orsinium, slowly but surely working herself to the grave. That is until one day, whilst mining away at a dark, damp cavern wall, she would break through the jagged stone surface and into what was a cluster of rare yet unrefined minerals. With this bountiful find, the orc woman would manage to both buy her freedom and then, once she reached a port, a way aboard a boat bound for the mysterious and almost alien land known as Morrowind, home of the Dunmer or dark elves. To be more specific, the ship Shurza was on was bound for the island of Vvardenfell, a province a way off the mainland of Morrowind. However, despite how well things seemed to be going for this simple orc woman, two obstacles would quickly make themselves known to the orc lass. The first being that Shurza knew very little about this strange land of Morrowind or of Vvardenfell save for that both were homes to the Dunmer and some other bits and pieces of minor information. Shurza had come aboard this vessel bound for the homeland of the Dark Elves with the desire to be as far Orsinium as possible, even if she knew little of where she would end up, but alas Shurza felt that she would learn much about this strange land in time. The second and more present problem was that in buying her freedom and passage to Vvardenfell, Shurza had used up what funds she had, that being the many gems she had found some time earlier. But...This problem could also be solved in Shurza's own little way.

Shurza Bitter-Root may have just been a simple miner, but she was a strong and capable orc woman. The life she had lived so far was one of hard labor and struggle but even then, this would result in Shurza's body becoming rather fit before she left her clan, though of course there is always room for improvement on one's body but at least Shurza currently was a level or two above some milk-drinker. Along with a toned body, Shurza had quite a bit of knowledge about how low life's and commoners get by in this world. This involved brawling. bribing, persuading or threatening, thievery and, above all of that there was one skill Shurza had dabbled in most, sometimes by her own choice, sometimes by the force of another and that was indulging in either her own or someone or perhaps some things desires or lust. Being who she was, Shurza knew and accepted that she would have to do certain shady or perhaps unpleasant...'things' in her life to get by and over the years and into adulthood she had steadily grown to accept that fact and it seems, once more, she would decide to work on her knees a bit in order to earn some septims that would aid in making her arrival to Vvardenfell slightly less tedious.

And so, we arrive at the present where Shurza, a thirty-two-year-old orc woman would currently be standing at the lowest level of the ship she had bought passage on. Specifically, she was in the cargo hold, standing before some crates where a mirror was leaning against. The reason for this was that Shurza was both cleaning her light, faded green colored body in a makeshift bath which was just her using a rag and a bucket of water. Along with this, she has also taken a makeshift shiv she made to her hair, shaving away the dirty, greasy braids until all that was left was a small layer of darkened stubble atop her head. Shurza was doing all of this for two reasons, one was that in a sense, she had just done away with who she was previously and thus was 'reborn' as a new woman, a free one. The second reason was that she was to soon have a visitor to this empty cargo hold aboard the ship. It was some guard aboard the vessel who the female orc had charmed enough into getting some coin and some fresh clothing AFTER Shurza of course showed this imperial guard a good time. Shurza grumbles to herself at the thought of having to do something like this so soon but it was that or wind up in a new land with nothing save for some rags that could barely be called clothes. And so Shurza looks over her body once more in the mirror ahead of her, making sure she had cleaned it well enough as well as admiring her own figure for a moment.

She had sharp, somewhat narrow eyelids that partially covered a pair of yellow eyes, yellow as dandelions even. Her eyebrows were somewhat thick and curved downwards slightly to give Shurza a somewhat intimidating look even if she was not wanting to be. Her lips were full but parts of them were slightly cracked due to the coming cold of winter and the damp cave Shurza worked in day after day covering the orc lass in a layer of both sweat and water alike though after she left her home, her lips were slowly healing thankfully. Behind said lips was one sharp and inch long tusk while the other one was chipped and thus was almost hidden by the orc's lips. Her face was relatively well sculpted but also had a somewhat sharp set of cheekbones, adding to her intimidating looks, but such features were common with most orc women from Shurza's clan. Her body was a fit, toned one though no fat or muscles were visible quite yet so in short, she looked like the average orc woman figure wise but perhaps that would change during her stay within Morrowind. As for Shurza's genitalia or the other parts that make up her womanly body, it is best to start off with the orc's bosom. Her breasts were ample yet firm and slightly larger than what most normal humanoid races could hold in one hand. Each breast was capped with a small yet dark ring with equally dark and now perky nipples. Moving down her back, one would see that her rear was tight and firm, much like the orc's legs and thighs were and while not as plentiful as her bosom, Shurza's buttocks were still nothing to scoff at. Lastly came the heart of Shurza's femininity that rests between her thighs. Covered by a somewhat unkempt bush due to lack of the proper tools at this moment would rest the orcs' warm, dark green folds.

It was as Shurza continued to examine her body that her slightly pointed ears would twitch as a sound echoed out, that being the hatch leading down into this cargo hold being opened. The orc would quickly set the mirror aside on the wooden floor below as she would then hide behind some crates near her just in case whoever was coming down here was not the man she was waiting for. Peeking out somewhat from her position, Shurza would be able to breathe a sigh of relief as a tan colored man donned in typical imperial chain armor would step into the room the orc was hiding in. It was the man she was waiting for, one who she had not even learned the name of though she cared little about such things at this point and it would seem the same applied to the guard as well judging by the fact he was setting down his tower shield and short sword on a nearby crate, hands eagerly fumbling with the belt holding up his chain leggings or 'skirt' as some would call it. Shurza would smirk in a confident manner before standing up and walking over to gently slap the now slightly startled legionnaires hands away from his belt and instead replacing them with her own.

One thing led to another and so within a few moments Shurza found herself on her knees, the guard standing in front of her, back pressed up against a stack of crates, his gauntlet covered hands gripping onto their wooden surfaces as the young soldier lets the occasional and soft groan as he looks down at Shurza. The orc woman had a strong grip on the base of the human's pale cock with one of her hands, the other being used to glide her fingers across her dampening folds, occasionally using her thumb to tease and toy with her clit. Along with this, Shurza also had her lips wrapped around the guard's cock and thanks to its average length and thickness, this allowed the well experienced lass to easily push her head up and down the human's length with ease, taking in practically every inch of that swollen length into her mouth over and over at a quick pace. As she continues to suck off the human, she would eventually take things even further as she uses her tongue to glide and lap at whatever was buried within her maw at the time as well as using the hand holding up the lads' cock, pumping and rubbing whatever was not buried in the orcs throat. Seeing as how the guard had yet to take control of this 'situation' or show any sort of dominance, Shurza simply continued to 'toy' with the Imperial who was but putty in her skilled hands now. She figured at this rate, a simple oral service such as this would be all that was needed for her to earn her payment for a job well done, so that is what she would do.

Shurza would then begin to let out muffled grunts, moans, coughs or sometimes even gags the harder and faster her head glided up and down that pulsating cock. It was all pretending for Shurza who felt that by letting out such noises in the midst of an already heated union would only push the young lad closer to his limits and it would seem that the orc was correct. Within the next few moments, the guard would let out a long yet low groan as his hips began to buck forth at last, his body seeming to decide it was time to put in some work in order to achieve that climax it so desperately wanted. Shurza's lips and face would be pounded about a dozen times by the Imperials naked waist before at last, as the guard grips onto the back of Shurza's head with one hand, his hips press against her face one last time, cock buried balls deep within the orc woman's throat as a minute long orgasm of the guard firing out rope after rope of warm seed down the orcs gullet. Shurza would swallow it all down with ease but of course would put on a show, even at the climax. When at last, the guard was finally spent, he would fall back against the crates in a panting mess, cock sliding out of the orcs' stained lips, already softening. Shurza would lick up any remaining mess on her lips before standing up, crossing her arms as she looks to the guard, patiently waiting for her payment or waiting to see if he tries to pull a fast one on her. Thankfully she would be paid for her services by an already tired guard who manages to at least hand her a leather pouch filled with a hundred septims as well as a set of commoner clothing.

And so, with that simple little encounter, no doubt one of many, out of the way, Shurza would take a moment to slip into her new clothing. Said clothing was a simple short sleeve cloth shirt that had a faded yellow look to it. There was a bit of rope used as a belt that would hold up a long cloth skirt that would reach just a few inches past Shurza's knees and was colored a dark brown. The only other bit of clothing was a simple pair of black, leather made 'shoes' that looked more like slippers to the orc but at least they would do well enough in keeping her feet covered until she could find better footwear. This thought applied to the rest of her outfit honestly, but she would hold back her complaints, not wanting to push her luck. She had money and clean clothes, a decent enough start in this strange new land of Vvardenfell. Once she had finished dressing herself and strapping the satchel filled with coin to the 'belt' on her waist, she would make her way to the deck of the ship she was on just as said ship was beginning to dock at the small, unassuming port of an equally small and unassuming town. This Shurza would look out onto this town apparently called Seyda Neen. She would notice the center of the town had about six buildings within it, three being two stories large while the other three looked to be simple homes. To the left of the center of the town was another three buildings, yet these looked to be rather simple looking huts more than anything and even further to the left of this town was a lighthouse, where at the top of it a large fire burned on and on, a shining monument that pierced the fog that surrounded Seyda Neen on this morning. The last noteworthy sight in this town was off to the right of it where on a hill stood a Dunmer that was tending to a strange chitin-covered beast that stood upon dark, long appendages that helped it tower over the ship Shurza was on. The orc had heard of such beasts while on board this ship. They were called Silt Striders and were quite the useful beast to the Dunmer indeed, seeing as how this one was no doubt being used as a means of mounted transportation. After waiting and staring for a few minutes more, the boat would finally dock at port and before the sailors aboard this vessel began to crowd the small walkway leading into Seyda Neen, Shurza would make her way off of the boat first but as she made her way down the pier, quickly making her way to one of the three two story buildings but would stop as she was approached by yet another armored legionnaire. A short conversation was had by the orc and the Imperial man that would involve said man questioning this stranger about who she was and what she was doing here. Shurza would tell him what he wanted to know, seeing and hoping there was no reason to lie to him. She would tell him her name and that she had bought passage to this land, hoping to start anew within Morrowind and upon this island of Vvardenfell. The guard would take a moment to look her over, eyes narrowing under his helm as he seemed to be trying to see if there was anything off about her but after a moment he would nod and relax some before pointing a hand behind him to the building Shurza was walking towards originally. He tells her to enter the Census And Excise and speak with an elderly man by the name of Socucius Ergalla who should be able to help and offer a way to make Shurza into an official civilian within Morrowind. With that, the guard would turn and move down the pier and back to his original post. Shurza would blink somewhat in slight confusion seeing as how she was not used to doing things in order to be labeled as a civilian. When living in her clan she simply just...was one or something similar to it. But with a sigh and a grumble the orc would make her way down the pier and up to the office doors. After taking a breath in she would make her way inside the building.

It took a bit of time but eventually, as the morning mist cleared around Seyda Neen, Shurza would exit the census office, feet touching the soft, slightly damp ground of an alien landscape that was Morrowind. The orc would stand before the back of the census office taking in the sights around her. The townsfolk were at last awake and starting to move around Seyda Neen, tending to whatever duties they had. Shurza would spot soldiers of the Empire moving about, keeping watch over the town within and somewhat outside of it. She would also see residents and travelers of many races and species moving about. This sight would be a pleasant surprise to the orc who was admittedly and reasonably nervous about standing out in this foreign land more-so than she already no doubt was. In time however, Shurza would move forward and into the heart of Seyda Neen, earning a few curious stares or perhaps even glares from those moving around her. Shurza would be making her way to the third and final two-story building within the small town, one that had a trader on its first level and a small bar on its second, or so those within the census office told her. Shurza would not only be visiting this place, Arrille's Tradehouse, in search of some supplies to help start her new life in Morrowind, but she would also be visiting this tradehouse in search of some advice and tips on what an outlander like herself could do in order to make coin and thrive within this land. So up a small set of stairs she would go where, after walking down a small, raised platform for a few steps and then turning to her right, she would be met with a door leading into the tradehouse proper. She would take hold of the handle and move inside and was immediately swept up in a wave of warmth, the smell of alcohol and food heavy in the air, even on the first floor. Along with this, she would also be met with a dimly lit and somewhat cozy looking little shop that had bookshelves, tables and counters all filled with items of varying kinds, no doubt most of which were on sale. As Shurza enters the building, closing the door behind her, she would see a counter ahead of her where, in front of it, stood a Khajiit wearing a dark set of leather armor, his head covered in an equally dark cloth hood. Behind the counter stood the one and only Arrille, a rather well dressed and tall high elf man who looked to be finishing a transaction with the Khajiit rogue. Said rogue had bought himself some arrows along with a wooden bow as well. To Shurza's left, looking over a table covered in items for sale was a dark elf woman seeming to be deep in thought seeing as how she barely reacted to Shurza coming into the store. The orc would step to the side, moving out of the way of the door just as the Khajiit would turn and make their exit which would then allow Shurza to move up to Arrille at last. The high elf would seem to frown for a moment as he looks upon the unassuming orc woman who had an obvious fish out of water look about her, giving away the fact that she was a newcomer, an outlander. Then again, when one spends as many years in Morrowind as Arrille has, one tends to notice who is a resident in this place and who is new to it, and Shurza was as new as they come. And so, before the orc woman could open her mouth to try and introduce herself, Arrille would cross his arms and take the initiative and speak out first.

"Welcome to Arrille's Tradehouse orc. I'm Arrille, publican and proprietor. Don't take what doesn't belong to you while here in this little town, though I hope you already know not to do that, lest you desire to be punished severely. You are a new face here judging by that look you have and the way you carry yourself so, know that if you want to shop here, you'll have to barter. I sell weapons, armor, tools, crafting supplies, other random goods and even spells. Though if you instead want some advice -free to new customers like yourself- then just ask, though I am sure you were eventually going to do that anyway, most Outlander's who come through here do so. I suspect someone in that census office keeps sending folks like you my way but in either case, welcome orc. How may I be of assistance to you today, hm?"

Shurza would relax some at the elf's words, glad he was not outright against speaking with an outlander such as herself. She would roll her shoulders some, standing up straight a bit and clear her throat before she at last spoke out in a slightly deep and gravelly voice fitting for one that had lived a rough and gritty life like she had so far.

"Well, I suppose before I take a look at what you have in your inventory, I hope you don't mind me asking you for some advice on what I can do here or what I need to get by, survive...those sorts of things. I am a miner by trade, but I am more than willing to dabble in other types of honest work as well. I see myself staying here in Seyda Neen, least till I feel prepared enough to venture out of town for any extended period of time, so I want it to be known that while I am here, I am willing to put in as much work as needed in order to well…be accepted among the people here." She would say all of this honestly, hoping that Arrille would see it as such as well. The high elf would raise one of his brows in slight surprise at her words, not expecting to hear something with such drive and determination behind it.

"Well, I must say you are already standing out from the usual outlander's that come and go from Seyda Neen. We have those who just arrive here and leave or those who come here and feel as if they can leech off of what little we have but those folk usually find themselves kicked out before long. But if you mean what you say and you wish to live in this community then well… I think I may know of some things you could do that would help you fit in. First off, some commonsense information any newcomer to Morrowind should know. If you want to live to a ripe old age, buy a weapon and perhaps some armor while you're at it and maybe even learn a spell or two. Practice and hone whatever skills you may have or wish to learn. Morrowind is an ancient, mysterious and quite often dangerous place so doing all that I've mentioned so far will go a long way to keeping you alive or out of any other sticky situations. Though of course, don't go practicing on the civilians here but again, I am sure you know not to do that. However, should you wish to pursue the life of an adventure right away then I am more than willing to supply you with whatever items you may need to start that lifestyle, not to mention there are plenty of caves, tombs and divines know what else sitting out there, beyond the town and dotted all across Vvardenfell. Closest place I can think of that you could delve into is a cave called Addamasartus. Place was once a den of smugglers and low life's that would sometimes come over here to pester the townsfolk but we haven't had any trouble from them in a bit so who knows what could be living there now. The cave is a few dozen yards away from the silt strider platform you no doubt saw on your way into town. But of course, if you aren't interested in that kind of life –yet or at all- then don't worry, there's other work to be done here in Seyda Neen. For starters, there are folks in town that may need things done for them that they cannot do for themselves. Job or occupation wise, well, our town thrives on harvesting local fauna and flora and trading them with other settlements so perhaps you could mine away at some rock, gather ingredients for alchemy, do a little bit of fishing at the coast nearby or well, whatever you feel like doing so long as you are bringing back supplies for the town. If you want, could even bring those goods to me and I could pay you for your work. Lastly, if you need a place to stay, there is a room available upstairs in the bar/inn. Was once my room but I've since moved into a house that once belonged to some twitchy little lad named Fargoth. So, you could stay in there for a time if you wish, the price could no doubt be negotiated with the barmaid upstairs, I'm sure. So, with all of that said, what are YOU interested in doing madame orc?"

The orc would listen closely and intently, sometimes nodding to both herself and to Arrille. She was willing to put in the work in order to feel and hopefully be welcomed here in Seyda Neen, seeing as how she figures she would be here for some time but the life of an adventurer, roaming Morrowind in search of dangers and fortune, was rather appealing to her but that would come later, sometime in the near future perhaps. But before she could wander the lands of Morrowind in such a manner, she wanted to focus on the present and the lands around Seyda Neen first. She needed coin, she needed a place to rest her head and, like Arrille had said, she needed to hone her skills or discover new ones. So that is what she would do. She would wait for Arrille to finish speaking and after rubbing her chin some in thought for a moment, looking down at nothing in particular, she would turn her gaze back up to the high elf with a confident smirk and offer him one more nod before speaking.

"Well, with all that in mind, I guess I'll start with browsing your shop's inventory, see what I need or what I can afford, and I'll go from there afterwards. But first, thank you Arrille for the advice. Hopefully I can find a way or two to repay such kindness and honesty. Be it through doing business with you or some...other way." Shurza would say, that smirk remaining upon her lips as she also flashes the high elf a quick wink before then using one of her hands to pull up her satchel filled with septims, ready to barter at last. The elf would reply to the woman's possible flirt with a slight chuckle as his golden colored cheeks would blush slightly before he would reach under his counter and pull out a sheet of parchment that seemed to catalog his store's inventory along with the base prices of each item.

After about half an hour's worth of shopping and browsing, Shurza would eventually make her way up to the second floor of Arrille's Tradehouse where a small bar sat, one occupied by a few patrons, a bard strumming away at their lute, a guard standing in a corner of the room and at last a barmaid standing behind a small 'L' shaped counter. Shurza would speak with the barmaid and would rent out the nearby empty bedroom. The two would come to an agreement that said room would cost Shurza ten septims a night and once transactions were made, Shurza moved into the small room where, within sat a bed with fine sheets and a large white pillow sitting atop it, a drawer for clothing, a chest at the foot of the bed and a nightstand that had a lantern resting atop it, a small candle lit within it. After taking in the sights of her room, Shurza would then begin to sit down all that she had bought from Arrille onto her bed. She bought a pickaxe, a fishing rod, an iron dagger, some novice quality lockpicks, a waterskin, another set of clothes which consisted of a new pair of leather shoes and a dark brown robe that covered every part of Shurza's body save for her head and lastly was a large empty linen sack that once held something though now was to be used by Shurza as a makeshift backpack of sorts with the aid of some rope she would tie around both the bag and her body, so as to keep it in place. After this transaction, her one hundred septims had been reduced to forty, enough to buy some food and drink from the bar outside as well as pay for rent for a few days. However, after Shurza puts her new clothes away in the drawer within her room, she packs the other supplies she bought within her makeshift backpack. She would then strap said pack to her back and make her way out of the room where she would buy something to eat before heading back outside. To be exact, the orc would order up a plate of seasoned mudrcrab meat along with filling up her waterskin to full capacity. After savoring some good food for a few minutes along with a few sips from her waterskin, Shurza would then make her way down to the first level of the building and after offering Arrille a wave, she would wander back outside, ready to spend the rest of the day doing something beneficial for herself.

And so, after years of pointless existence, Shurza would step out into a new world, a new life, ready to face it and its challenges head-on. What will she do? What will she become? Will her story be a grand epic that will last the ages, or will it be a simple tale of a woman, a foreigner simply trying to survive day to day life in a mysterious, alien landscape or perhaps her story may end before it truly begins? Only the Divines may know the answer to such a question, but what is known is that Shurza has been given the chance to start over, to begin again. She has the will and the potential to make something of herself here on Vvardenfell, within Morrowind, all that is needed now is to wait and see what lies next in this new chapter in the life of Shurza Bitter-Root.

Author's Notes

Hello to anyone reading this! First off, I want to say thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to either skim over this or read it completely, I appreciated it! With that said, let start this off by saying that I am new to FanFiction, or rather new to posting on here but I am not entirely new to writing, though of course I have much to learn still so please do keep that in mind. Nonetheless I hope to be able to produce stories mature stories that can offer both entertaining and lewd content equally and I hope that any of you interested in my work will enjoy what I put out for you all.

I suppose I should also say that this story, for those who may not know, takes place in the Elder Scrolls universe, to be more specific, it takes place a few years after the main storyline of The Elder Scrolls III - Morrowind is completed but it also takes place long before Morrowind was destroyed during a time called the Red Year. Also, for those who may be thinking Shurza here is supposed to be the Nerevarine/Nerevar, don't. Shurza is just a simple orc woman, for now at least. The reason I chose this route for a story set in Morrowind was, well, while I have played a lot of Morrowind and watched many videos on it, I am not entirely confident I could do my own spin on Morrowind's main storyline or its dlc storylines so instead I am rolling with what you have read above, a story about an orc woman simply trying to live her new life in Morrowind. Whether or not she becomes a hero/villain by the end of it I cannot say for sure, for all I know maybe her story is cut short, but I suppose we will see. Just wanted to clear that up for anyone who was concerned about it.

Well, I can't think of much else to put here save for another thank you and I hope you enjoy this story and whatever may come next! While I do have some basic outline for beginning chapters of this story, I would not mind hearing what ideas or whatnot that you fine people may want to see play out in the story since, like the game Morrowind, it is an open world adventure and Shurza (within reason at least) can go almost anywhere or do almost anything. Hell, this could even apply to future lewd scenes, though of course know that I have my limits even if I am relatively open-minded about lewd/naughty stuff. That aside, thank you again dear readers and I will see you again soon, hopefully! Stay classy folks!
