At LME Agency walking out of the Love Me room and completely engrossed with the script in her hands, Sawara-san had spotted the peculiar number one love me member as she was approaching the halls of the talent section. He was the type to always be on his guard around her and unpleasantly surprised when by chance had to accidentally lock eyes with her but not this time. He gave her that same script half an hour ago and he was waiting for her decision whether she would accept the role for the upcoming project from a foreign director, who unerringly requested Mogami Kyoko for the female lead character in his new drama.

Yes, the director was unhesitating in his choice for the main lead of his project. Even Sawara-san have found that to be a bit weird. But if someone wanted to hire the talents from LME entertainment, his job was to deliver. He thought she would naturally accept right away because this was her first offered role for the protagonist character.

But now he had started questioning himself if it really was a good idea asking her when he saw Kyoko's dark cloud of hatred rising above, and easily domineering the halls with negative energy. The passersby suddenly felt a suffocating chill in the air causing their ghastly faces turn pale in color.

I'm very sorry! I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have told you about this project! Sawara's body was shaking with cold shivers as the thought was crossing his mind. A sudden murderous glance aimed at his direction. By now he was at the verge of tears, covering his mouth not willing to let a single sound escape his lips, trying to avoid a possible death coming his way. She marched into his office as if she was possessed by something.

"Unforgivable!" she muttered in a low serious voice as she was clenching the script inside her palm. The only thing he could reply to that was "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to upset you! Please spare my life!" while raising his hands in a defensive stance to protect himself from an upcoming attack.

"Why are you the one apologizing Sawara-san?" she asked with the same low voice.

"I don't know! But I feel like I have to if I want to keep my life intact. It must be because of that drama script! Eek!!" he shrieked in fear.

She gritted her teeth at the mention of the words drama script. It looked like Sawara was spot on about the source of her anger. "Did you read what's the plot about Sawara-san?" she maintained the dark energy while asking. The plot? Why is she asking the obvious? He thought. "Of course I did. How can I do my job properly if I don't do the bare minimum of familiarizing myself first with the job offer, before I talk about it with our talents?" Is something wrong with the plot? Another thought came instantly.

"Sawara-san can you please summarize it in a few words for me?" she kept terrorizing him with another question.

Huh? She wants me to brief her about the story? He cleared his throat and started talking. "Yeah… umm, this drama is about a woman who after a year of happy marriage is now facing a crisis, when she starts suspecting her husband for infidelity…" he checked to see her reaction when she—

"Infidelity you say Sawara-san…" her darkness has soared up high to the ceiling and filled the office with negative vibes, causing his face to convulse in shock and terror yet again. "Eek!!"

She started clenching the script In her hand once more and her face darkened from the suppressed indignation within.

"Does he know about my dark past I wonder? This is getting very suspicious Sawara-san" she asked with an evil smile through her teeth without meeting his eyes.

"Dark past? That's impossible Mogami-san! This director has lived in Iceland for so many years. He's only a half japanese by his mother's side and his dream was to shoot a japanese drama in his mother's native land."

For some reason he felt he needed to protect the director's life as well before something bad happens to him.

"So you are telling me he's not japanese, is that right Sawara-san?"

"That's right! You don't need to kill him! Please calm down!" He pleaded with fear in his voice.

"But I thought you will be happy to act this role because your favorite will be also there." It piqued her curiosity "My what? Who is that person?"

"Huh? You didn't read his name in the script? It's your favorite celebrity, the one who makes you go cra.. I mean the one who always provokes these reactions out of you. It's Fuwa Sho."

Badaboom!

Something had exploded inside her brain. "Shotarooo!!!" she exclaimed with fury. "Why is he part of this drama Sawara-san?"

"Huh? That's because he was casted for the role of the husband."

"What did you say!?"

"And he recommended you for the role of the wife. The director liked it and he asked for you to be part of the cast" Sawara added.

"So he's the one who wanted me to play this role?" pfft! The sound came from her mouth and then she—

"Oh~hohoho!!" she straightened her palm and placed it below her mouth as if to cover her arrogant ojou-sama laughing.

"Are you trying to start a new war? Well prepare to be defeated in your own stupid little game Shotaro!! I will make you regret you ever recommended me to be part of this project! Oh~hohoho!!"

As she was talking to her self, Sawara-san was shivering in goosebumps with a terrified expression on his face while listening to her. But at the same time Ren and Yashiro were on their way home after a long day of a full packed schedule and they've stopped as soon as they saw and heard Kyoko's devilish laugh.

Ren's face showed confusion as he was trying to understand what's happening inside that office but Yashiro already figured it out.

"Ren I think you should invite Kyoko-chan today in your apartment."

"Why?"

"Just trust me on this, ok? Let's invite her for some tea shall we?" He grinned like a fox at Ren while the latter already sensed he knew more then what he intended to say.

"What are you trying to pull now, Yashiro-san?"

Yashiro sighed at his words and replied "It's a time when a man needs to make a move or else he will lose everything! I will mention the reason why while we ride the car on the way to your apartment. But first we need to take Kyoko-chan with us."

And just like his words they did as he said. They said hi and Kyoko politely greeted both of them. Yashiro asked her about the script in her hands and she replied that she will accept the new role for the female lead in a drama with Fuwa Sho. To that answer Ren just narrowed his eyebrows and didn't say a word.

Yashiro as if wanting to get rid of the bad air in the office, he offered her a ride home and she reluctantly accepted. On the way home during the drive, Yashiro accidentally proposed the idea for Ren to help Kyoko with her new role through a rehearsal in his apartment. Kyoko was hesitant but felt relieved when Ren agreed.

When they arrived at Ren's apartment building as soon as they entered inside, Kyoko excused herself before she went to the powder room. Truth to be told while she managed to somehow keep herself calm and that was all thanks to Yashiro-san being with them in the car, she was now feeling nervous and fidgety because she would have to deal with Ren's questions all by herself because he didn't like Sho and he had just heard that she will have to act in a drama with him.

It was easy telling him that in the office with Yashiro and Sawara present, but now she needed a brief time alone to collect her thoughts before she talked about the new project with Shotaro.

I hope Tsuruga-san won't get angry at me for accepting this role. She was thinking to herself as she was pacing inside the room. Then she stopped. She inhaled deeply before exhaling again slowly. She looked into her own eyes in the mirror and psyched herself to go out there where Ren was waiting for her.

When she left she was headed towards the living room and didn't see Ren there. She was surprised, and then she decided to go in the kitchen and that's where she had found him. He was making a hot cocoa for both of them as it was very cold outside. He wanted to make her feel comfortable as much as he could before—

"Tsuruga-san?" Kyoko spoke as she was slowly getting nearer. Ren was pouring the hot cocoa into the mugs and then raised his head when he heard her voice "I hope you will join me in drinking this beverage together, what do you say Mogami-san? He was his usual self just like any other time when they were together. The same old polite Tsuruga-san who was kind to her. The smile on his face felt warm and welcoming.

She felt relieved. "Yes, I would love to." She returned the smile back. He gave her one mug and took one for himself and then he suggested they go in the living room. They sat on the couch in a comfortable position and then simultaneously sipped from the delicious warm cocoa.

"Thank you Tsuruga-san, it's really delicious."

"I'm glad you like it."

"I'm really sorry for coming at this hour, after all it's pretty late and I'm sure you would have wanted to get some rest on your own." Kyoko was just being herself. She felt self-conscious because she felt like Yashiro almost made him go along with his idea of helping her.

"It's no problem at all. I accepted because I didn't mind you coming. Besides, we've done this before. It's not like you are coming the first time in my apartment, right Mogami-san?

He tried to ease her thoughts of worry for being here because he was indeed ok with him spending some more time together, but instead she felt embarrassed for her previous visits at the same late hours. He sighed when he saw her blushing because of it. He could pretty much tell what she was thinking so he spoke again.

"About the new drama…" As soon as she heard those words she got tense and was now feeling nervous again. "Why did you accept it Mogami-san?"

She felt as if she was pierced with an arrow in the head when he asked her. She wasn't sure how to bring up the topic and not making him misunderstand at the same time because she really accepted the role out of spite, but she didn't want him to know about it.

"I read the script and I've found the character very interesting. For what other reason would I do it, Tsuruga-san?" her voice wasn't shaking but was firm and she made herself appear as if she really believed her own words. She was indeed an actress.

He tried to evaluate the words coming out of her mouth along with watching her body language. But he wasn't sure if he believed her or not. So he wanted to bait her through the next question.

"Were the character's charming traits so irresistible it even made you numb to the fact your co-star is Fuwa Sho?"

Budump!

Her heart skipped a beat because she felt even more nervous than before.

"Ah… I mean… this role is the lead character in the drama. Was I supposed to let it go because of that guy?" Ren was surprised. "Why do I have to waste my opportunities because of him? How will I advance in my career if I do things like that?" Ren was shocked. He did not expected her to answer him this way. And neither did she.

Because while she intended to lie to him about her reasons, strangely in her heart she felt those words true to their core.

"Are you really ok with this?" He asked her again to make sure.

"Yes." She answered confidently. "I know you worry about me and I'm really grateful for your concern Tsuruga-san. But I really want to do this." She wanted to reassure him of her decision.

"I see. If it's like that then I'm glad."

"Hmm" she nodded.

"Then I guess we should start with the practice now?" He smiled in a friendly way.

"Yes!" she finally felt excited again because she'll get to act together with Tsuruga-san, even if it's just for rehearsal.

She put the mug down with cocoa on the coffee table and she reached for her purse to get the script. She gave it to Ren to read it. Then they had to choose on what scene to rehearse together and when they finally made their choice, it was time for action. Ren stayed in the living room while Kyoko went into the guest bedroom from where she would make her entrance for the scene.

As Sawara-san mentioned before, the Director was from Iceland and a half japanese from his mother's side. What he didn't tell her was when he came in Japan to film his drama, he fell for the singer's charm Fuwa Sho when he saw him on the stage.

The drama he was currently working on was about a japanese popular singer who went on a tour and later he came to perform in Iceland for the few asian citizens, and fell in love with a woman there. This love story was inspired from the parents of the director himself but with a completely different scenario.

The director's father was a japanese music composer and not a singer, and he had a happy marriage with his mother. While the drama ends with not so happy ending because the main characters end up divorced due to many misunderstandings throughout their one year marriage and ephemeral love story.

The drama scene where the wife Kelyn Vanmerclift confronts the husband Dariaki Hienaga about his infidelity.

The sight of her white long summer dress fluttering behind her as she was walking, the long golden locks brushed by the wind as if being gently caressed by it, and mesmerizing blue eyes full of indignation mixed with a striking pain from a broken heart, was a sight to behold because of her beauty.

People from the agency were inadvertently bewitched as they instantaneously turned their heads to follow the every step of the stunning foreigner. Kelyn was headed to the studio of her husband hoping she would find him there.

At last she had arrived. She took a deep breath, exhaled and then entered the room.

This was the cue when Kyoko had made her entrance into the living room, and seeing Ren on the couch playing his guitar as he was supposed to while acting as the husband Dariaki.

When Kelyn entered the studio room her husband was excited and got up from his seating position, and put down the guitar on the couch in order to greet her.

"I'm so happy to see my wife coming to me" Dariaki was ecstatic and went to hug her. She didn't hug him back. She felt pain as she was trying to swallow the lump down in her throat and was trying to calm herself down.

Her husband felt something was weird when he didn't feel her hands on his back so he broke the hug, and held her face with both of his hands with the intention to kiss her. But instead he got rejected. She pulled down his hands from her face, and stepped back.

Kyoko did exactly as it was written in the script, and Ren showed the expected surprised look of the husband after being rejected by his wife.

"What's wrong?" He asked with a tone hinting of hurt feelings.

"I did not come here to do this with you." She was referring to acting as a loving couple who just met again after the husband was done with his work activities, when she replied with a cold tone.

"I don't understand." Dariaki said confused.

"Why are you acting this way? Did something happen?" He tried to get closer while acting worried.

"Please stay away…" He froze at her words when she spoke with a behavior that was holding back from something.

Dariaki was at a loss of words. He truly didn't know what kind of situation he was in. Why would his lovely wife who loves him more than anything would say something like that to him.

"Honey you are making me worry…" his voice has started shaking. "It's me… your husband."

He extended his hand towards her wanting to confirm her touch again but she slapped his hand away.

"I don't want you to touch me… " Her voice had also started shaking but was filled with a blend of disgust and suffering. He was now starting to feel not just hurt but offended at the same time. So he grabbed her hand and pulled her against his body. As if wanting to break free from this ridiculous situation he reached for her lips again, to make everything go back to the way it was supposed to be but again he faced yet another rejection.

His wife pushed him back breaking the hold, and avoided his kiss. Now Dariaki was enraged after his advances were constantly being rejected one after another and at last he snapped.

"What's gotten into you that made you act this way!? Is this a normal behavior you are displaying? Have you gone crazy!?"

She didn't reply rather she opened her purse, took some photos out of it and then threw them into his face. She was furiously exhaling after the act, awaiting his reaction.

Shocked and hurt both emotions were apparent on his face as the pictures were falling down on the floor. He never saw coming this kind of treatment from his own wife. Then he squatted down to pick up those photos from the floor and see what's all that about when he—

Budump! A sudden shock and fear flashed into his eyes and he felt like his heart has lost all the blood inside with the last thump. What he saw was the proof of his misconduct when he was under the influence of alcohol.

If it weren't for these photos he would have never remembered his past actions. He had no idea how blessed he was for living in ignorance until an hour before. But now he was facing the harsh and cold reality. The reality where he's about to lose his wife. In these photos was the proof of him cheating on her in some hotel room with another woman.

He was barely able to breathe not even close to say anything to her. The shock was unbearable, overwhelming, and too painful to deal with. Because what goes around comes around.

"Why are you staying quiet now?" Kelyn asked him.

He just simply couldn't say a word. There were no words he could say to defend himself. He knew that.

"What do you have to say for yourself after this? Can you give me an explanation?" Kelyn was upset but she was holding herself back from overreacting.

"I… I was only able to get the memory back now. I could not remember any of this… until I saw it." He spoke very quietly and carefully but he spoke the truth. He was saying how things really were.

"What else?" She kept asking.

"That day I got very drunk and I was not totally aware… of my actions. I can't believe I did this to you." Completely heartbroken he was trying to find the strength to continue.

"I didn't mean for this to happen. This… was never my intention. Please believe me…" he was talking with a heavy heart as sincere as possible.

"Does it mean I have to forgive you because you were drunk? Is the alcohol the only thing to blame?"

He had no idea how to respond to that because yes he wanted her forgiveness, but was that even possible?

"I understand. You need time. I will wait… as long as you want me to, I will wait for you to forgive me." He spoke while looking down at the floor because he still couldn't find the courage to look her in the eye.

"That won't be necessary." She replied.

"What do you mean?" he turned his head her direction but still not making any eye contact while asking with anxiety and fear in his voice.

"I want a divorce." She said adamantly.

"What?" He now looked her in the eye and crawled to her until he reached her legs.

"You are being hasty. Please don't come with a decision right away." He begged while holding her legs like a little child craving attention from its parent.

"I don't want our marriage to fall apart. Please give me another chance to prove it to you. Didn't I say I will wait for you? So please don't say you want to divorce me… " With his voice now cracking up he was hardly capable of stopping the tears from falling down his cheeks.

"I can't…" She uttered.

"I don't think I can ever forgive you." She was also at the verge of tears. "The only way is to let go of this marriage because I don't want to resent you for the rest of my life." Two teardrops ran down her cheeks as well.

"It's time to say goodbye for good…"

Dariaki still on his knees held her legs even tighter because he was not ready to do what she asked of him.

End of scene.

After they said their last lines, a few moments later they returned to being Ren and Kyoko again.

"Good job Mogami-san" he said while getting up from the floor.

"Was it really good? Was I convincing as the wife?" Kyoko kept asking while wiping the tears away from her eyes, in order to work on the things he deemed she was lacking like a good student.

"Yes, that was some fine acting. You should have more confidence in your skills." He encouraged her with a warm smile while his eyes glowed from the remaining tears from the acting before.

She felt very happy from his words. "Thank you Tsuruga-san!" she made a bow to him to express her gratitude.

"As expected! When I have to act opposite Tsuruga-san, I feel super motivated and I somehow act beyond my abilities… no what I mean is you provoke my actor instincts! Something I never knew I had in me until I met you. And for that I want to say, thank you so much Tsuruga san! From the bottom of my heart! Thank you for giving me the chance to learn and improve on my acting.

"Same here…" he mumbled softly.

"What? Did you say something Tsuruga-san?"

"No, it's nothing." He smiled again. "When does the drama starts shooting?" He asked.

"Before we left, Sawara-san said he will call me to confirm the date for the meeting with the Director."

"I see."

Then Kyoko suddenly asked "By the way Tsuruga-san, why did you want us to rehearse this scene in particular?"

"Hm? Why are you asking me that now after we're done acting?"

"Ah, it's because I was too excited preparing for the role so I forgot." She smiled feeling embarrassed.

"It's because I wanted to see how you will act in this kind of setting with that guy as your partner."

Kyoko was surprised. "Did I pass the test, sensei?"

"Well, I guess… "

Kyoko was happy.

"But the real test starts when you will act in the real take in front of him. If you pass now but you fail then, it means that you fail altogether. Do you understand?"

"I will definitely not fail! Certainly under no circumstances I will give him the chance to see me fail! It's a promise, Tsuruga-san!"

"You promise?"

"I do!"

"Looks like I have no choice but to believe in your words for now." He said with a sigh.

"I will not fail your expectations, you have my word!" She said it as confidently as possible because she wanted him to be proud of her and she truly intended to keep her word.

"Ok… Now please go in the guest bedroom Mogami-san and have a rest for the night. Tomorrow will be a busy day for both of us."

"Yes! Again, sorry for inconvenience. I'll be borrowing one of your bedrooms for tonight. Good night Tsuruga-san."

"Goodnight… "

After she left he went to get the script from the chair and read it again. He was searching for a scene that left an impression of him before when they were choosing on the scene for their rehearsal.

The scene that got his attention was the one during the couple's honeymoon. It was true that he wanted to check Kyoko's condition through their acting before, but he also picked that one because he felt it was much safer for him to do a scene where she's being cold to him.

He wasn't confident he could act in a lovey dovey setting without keeping himself in check at the same time. But now something else was bothering him and that was the realization of her acting the honeymoon scene with his rival in love, Fuwa Sho.

His forehead got creased while joining his eyebrows in worry about what to do when that happens. He sighed, and then went to open one of the windows because he needed a fresh air. He inhaled and exhaled slowly and repeated the process a few more times until he felt better. Well as much as he could in that situation.

He knew that this was something he had to deal with sooner or later but that didn't mean he was prepared for it. He was relying on his acting skills during uncomfortable situations as he always was. All he had to do now was hoping and keep faith in Kyoko's words. There was no other way for him.

A/N: Hi everyone! Long time no see. (for those who know me) Let's see, I've been staying away from this manga for about... 9 months now lol! And to be honest I wanna continue that way because I was too frustrated with the one chapter per month. Why I wrote this oneshot and why this country? That's because yesterday I was too bored when I didn't have an access to the internet because the speed was so damn slow it felt like you have internet but it's exactly the same like when you don't have any at all. So I took my phone and started writing in my notes. This was supposed to stay just as a draft but today I was like oh what the hell, let's write and see what happens. And this one shot was born. The country was chosen completely on random. I'm not even close to this part of Europe at all, and when I googled how many Japanese people you can find in Iceland was quite the shock. Not many. Well that's all from me, I hope you will like this skip beat oneshot. And thank you for reading.
