"My people want nothing but peace." the blond man replied to her statement, looking at the girl somewhat confused, almost perplexed. Serephina raised her eyes to Fury, who was this man? What was going on here anyway? She knew she wouldn't get an answer at this second. "But you're not the only ones out there, are you?", Nick then asked the counter-question, for which Serephina was secretly grateful, because she was just confused beyond measure. "And you're not the only threat," the girl had understood that much. She was researching people with anomalies and their DNA, not aliens or other beings.

"The world is filling up with more and more people that we are no match for," with that Fury turned back to Stark, Banner and the Captain. "That we can't control." the man added briefly. "Like they both controlled the Cube?" the Captain now sharply asked the counter question, looking back and forth between her and Fury. "Loki and his allies were first brought here by your research on the Tesseract. It is a sign to all the realms that Earth is ready for a higher form of war," the blond man continued to explain seriously, taking a step closer to Fury and Serephina.

Nick had moved to the centre of the group to answer them, at least as much as Nick could. Serephina had leaned against the cool metal wall next to Captain America and was breathing quietly. She knew too little to be here. "A higher form?" interjected Mister Stark seriously, looking to the man next to Steve, the blond. Natasha said nothing to all this, which made the young girl wonder.

"You left us no choice. We had to-" but again Stark did not let the girl speak. "Nuclear deterrence, then? That always calms things down first, as we all know," Stark retorted at the beginning of her sentence. "What did you make your fortune from again, Stark?" the younger girl replied sharply, looking at the man seriously. "If Stark still produced weapons, I'm sure he'd be up to his neck in-" it was Tony Stark again who silenced everyone, "Why is this suddenly about me?" he calmly asked the question as Steve, Serephina and the philanthropist himself moved closer and closer to each other. "Isn't it always like this?" the girl remarked coolly. "I thought humans were more evolved by now." she heard the man in the background remark, Nick wheeled around to the man and replied only mockingly, "Excuse me, are we coming to your planet and blowing everything up?"

"You treat your best with such suspicion?" the man asked the counter question as Natasha watched the conversation in silence. "You're not our best!" retorted Fury loudly, now Natasha joined in, "Are you guys really that naive?" S.H.I.E.L.D. is watching potential threats!" she declared loudly. Serephina looked at Doctor Banner who was leaning against one of the tables with his arms folded, sceptre on the table behind him. "So Captain America is a threat?" he asked quietly, to which Serephina nodded. "We are all potential threats."

"Wait, you're on the list too?" with that Stark pointed at the girl "-over or under angry bee?" Serephina just rolled her eyes and crossed her arms while Steve beside her also spoke up, "So help me God, another stupid spell Stark!" Immediately Tony raised his hand and pointed at Steve. "Threats! Verbal threats!"

"Could the gentlemen behave and show some respect?" asked Serephina loudly, to which Stark only laughed and replied a, "Of what?"

Several, parallel conversations arose as a plane approached the helicarrier. It claimed to be carrying ammunition and weapons, while in the cargo hold Clint Barton, alias Hawkeye, was getting ready to attack.
