"You talk about control and yet you are fuelling chaos!" the blond man now shouted through the lab. "That's method, isn't it? I mean what are we? A team? No, we are a chemical mixture that creates chaos! We're a time bomb!" the doctor finally declared aloud, while everyone had their attention on him. "And you'd better go now," Fury quickly realised and turned to the Doctor. "Why shouldn't the man blow off some steam?" asked Tony Stark mockingly, an amused grin on his lips. "You know very well Stark!", Serephina replied immediately.

"A big man in armour. Leave them off, what are you then?", Steve asked the billionaire sharply, carrying menacingly towards him. Without paying the man any more attention than necessary, the man simply replied, "Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist." "I know men who don't have all that and yet are worth ten times what you are. I've seen the footage, you're only fighting for yourself. You're not one of those who would sacrifice themselves. Who lay down on barbed wire so that others can climb over it.", Steve's voice sounded cool and serious, which made serephina swallow quietly. "I'd rather cut the wire.", Tony finally just replied. "You should stop pretending to be a hero.", Steve spoke, shaking his head slightly in disbelief. "A hero? Like you are? You're a lab experiment, Rogers. Everything special about you comes from a test tube," the men stepped closer and closer to each other.

Serephina had to express an honest fear that these two men were about to lash out at each other. So she acted as she had been taught. She grabbed the captain by the wrist and pulled him a little away from Stark. "That's enough of that. You are not here to fight each other!" she spoke sternly and when Tony tried to open his mouth again, she spoke only a cool, "and not to insult me either."

"What a team!" escaped the Doctor loudly as he wandered around the table again and so stood before the sceptre. "Agent Seren, would you please put the Doctor in his-" began Fury, but again he was cut off. "Where? They've rented out my room!" escaped the man loudly as he cleaned his glasses. Rented out his room? What was the doctor talking about? Who was sitting in the glass box? "The cell was just in case-" "-they have to kill me. But they can't. I tried! I was at the end, I didn't see any way out, so I put a bullet in my mouth and the other one just spat it out again. Then I moved on. I was good at helping others. Till they dragged me down here to this freak show. You wanna know my secret, Miss Romanoff? Do you want to know how I stay so calm?" in the corner of his eye Steve saw Nick, serephina and Natasha unholstering their weapons as the doctor reached for the sceptre. "Doctor, let go of the sceptre.", Steve calmly ordered him and carefully raised a hand in his direction. Somewhat incredulous and confused, the Doctor lowered his gaze to his hand, in which lay the sceptre, with the blue stone. He hesitated for a moment, but then put the staff back on the table. A few seconds arose in complete silence until one of Stark's tests beeped. "Good, we've got him," he realised calmly. Immediately a series of conversations started again, so Stark and the captain threatened to slide into a brawl again, while the blond got upset at the recklessness of the humans.

Serephina only heard a quiet, "Oh my God.", from the doctor, who had turned to the test before a series of explosions shook the ship.
