"Stark, we're coming in from three o'clock, northeast!" spoke Natasha into her headset when they were close enough to the tower that they could tap into Tony's communications. "Did you guys stop at the drive in between?" he asked back mockingly, adding quickly: "Fly through Park Avenue, I'll serve it to you there.", Immediately Natasha did as she was told, and scooped the creatures flying behind Tony out of the sky.

Serephina clutched onto Natasha's seat as she quickly guided the Quinjet through the narrow streets of New York. Finally, they flew the jet along the tower until they could see the upper platform. Loki fought Thor as energy kept twitching back and forth between them. The younger girl looked up at Steve briefly and, barely, noticeably pressed her lips together. What had she gotten herself into? "Tasha?" she then heard Clint ask, sitting on the side facing the tower. "I'm looking." the latter replied immediately, turning the ship toward the Tower. Loki grabbed Thor and threw him to the side before pointing his scepter at the jet. Immediately a beam, from something inexplicable, hit the jet and the right turbine began to burn. Immediately, warnings went off in the ship while Natasha tried to keep the ship stable.

It succeeded for a few seconds, then the ship tilted to the side and rapidly lost altitude. Immediately the brunette was grabbed by Steve, who pulled her to him so that she wouldn't be swept away. She wanted to object, but she couldn't. Natasha and Clint still managed to steer the jet in a makeshift way so that it wouldn't collapse a building. Again and again the ship was shaken, until it finally came crashing loudly to the ground on a street and stopped there after a few meters.

Immediately, Serephina detached herself from Steve again, while the other two agents unbuckled their seat belts. There was pure chaos on the streets. People were running all over the place, cars were left derelict on the streets while the aliens zoomed through the sky. The four ran onto a street from which they could see the tower, passing a pile of cars and debris.

"We have to get back up there!" shouted Steve to the Three Others as they continued to run down the street. They finally stop while their eyes were glued to the portal. Out of it came a huge, whale-like, metallic creature. It seemed infinitely long, and Serephina ducked slightly as the thing flew just a few feet above their heads. At some point, more creatures popped out of the whale in mid-air, crashing through windows and into homes and offices.

"Tony, do you see it too?" asked Serephina into her commlink as creatures on chariots, without horses, continued to fly through the air. "I see it, but I don't really believe it yet. Has Banner shown himself yet?" he asked while flying parallel to the creature through the streets. "Banner?" replied Serephina, only confused. "Keep me informed," Tony ended the connection.

Cars kept exploding, around the four people on the ground. "They're sitting ducks down there," Steve cursed softly as people ran around in panic. Natasha and Serephina, meanwhile, were shooting at the monsters with their pistols, while Clint drew his bow.

"We're going to hold the fort. It's okay, go," Natasha finally addressed Steve and Serephina. "Clint, we need a clear run!" replied Serephina without hesitation, while some aliens landed on the cars, a few meters away. Barton had an amused smile on his lips and then drew his arrows, immediately some of the creatures fell down.

Serephina and Steve jumped sideways from the small bridge they had been standing on. The blonde landed on a deep bus, which exploded only a few seconds later. The girl had swung to one of the streetlights and had slid down it. Immediately the two, ran further down the street.
