Luisa's Midnight Tantrum
Part 1
It was a quiet night in the Madrigal nursery. All were asleep until-
"WAAAAAAAHHH" Luisa screamed.
"uuuuuuugghhhh" Isabela pushed her pillow over her ears.
Half awake, Dolores stumbled out of bed and toward the crib. "What's wrong Luisa?" She mumbled.
"AAHH AAHHH"
"Want your bottle?" Dolores picked up the baby bottle. She yawned and gave it to her cousin. "Here's your bottle"
Luisa pushed the bottle away. "AHHH WAAUUH"
"Augh! Can you keep her down?!" Isabella waved her hand angrily. "I'm trying to sleep"
"I'm trying... I'm trying"
"I'm getting Mami." Isa stood up and went out of the room.
A few moments later, Julieta ran into the room. She picked up her baby and cradled her. "Shhh. Shhh. It's okay Luisa. Mama's here"
"WAHHH"
"Sorry Tia Leta" Dolores gave her the baby bottle. "I couldn't keep her down."
"It's okay Dolores. Thanks for helping. I'll take her to my room now." Tia Julieta nodded and left, shushing her child.
Dolores looked out the door and watched as her Tia ran to her room on the opposite side of the balcony.
"Finally, we'll get some peace and quiet" Isabella gave a sigh of relief and went into their room.
"Well, Luisa isn't that bad, most of the time she sleeps quietly" Dolores followed her in.
"She wakes us up almost every night. Crying and screaming like a monkey."
"She's a baby."
"I know. Just saying." Isabela laid in her bed and put her sleep mask on, signaling the end of the conversation.
"Luisa will grow out of baby-ness soon. Just wait a little longer and she-"
"Goodnight, Dolores."
"… Goodnight, Isa" Dolores curled up and eventually fell asleep.
