Kate strolls into the apartment and is met by a avalanche of blonde hair. Two energetic dogs fly at her feet, vying for attention, but it's her visibly perturbed roommate who wins that honor. Yelena darts toward her, "Where were you? You don't answer your phone anymore?" she complains. The archer searches through her pockets but comes up empty handed. Yelena throws her arms around the smelly archer and buries her face into Kate's chest.

"I must have lost my phone at the bar," Kate says, staring at the top of her roommate's head. "You okay?" she asks.

Yelena releases her tight hold, "You can't do that," she says.

"I can't ...lose my phone?" Kate chuckles.

Yelena waves off the sarcastic remark and moves toward the dining room. Kate grabs hold of her arm and twirls the blonde back into her embrace. She backs the annoyed blonde against the dining room table. Taking Yelena's hand, she caresses it against her cheek, "I'm fine," Kate says. Yelena lets her hand skims the edge of Kate's lips before descending to her chest. "I'm right here," Kate adds, nestling the blonde's hand to her heart.

"Yeah, you are," Yelena says, placing her other hand on Kate's chest. She glides upward from the archer's firm chest, to her strong shoulders, eventually taking hold of the brunette's freezing cold ears. She caresses them between her fingers and stares into Kate's soft eyes.

Kate places her hands over the assassin's. "Don't..." she says, as the blonde's grip tightens. The archer's twists Yelena's arms outward until she release her ears. "Yelena... no," she says, while making distance between them.

The blonde throws two swift punches that Kate effortlessly swats away. Yelena goes for one more blow, but Kate turns the assassin's force to toss her to the other side of the room. The move excites her opponent who comes at her with a mixed combination of kicks and punches. Kate manages to thwart each move without striking back. "Hit me damn it!" Yelena demands.

"No," Kate says. Yelena pulls her baton from her boot then extends it in view of her friend. "I'm not doing this with you," the brunette says. Yelena swings the baton forcing Kate backwards in order to dodge the strike. Kate constrains Yelena's baton wielding arm, then wraps her arm around the assassin's neck before flipping them both onto their backs. The nimble blonde turns onto her stomach and propels her body one hundred and eighty degrees, landing atop her winded friend.

Kate stares up at Yelena who has yet to break a sweat. "You should probably know, I love you," the archer admits.

"I know you do, Kate." She climbs off the archer then takes a seat on the floor beside her.

Kate turns her head toward her friend, "Well I guess as long as you know," she says.

"We need to speed up your training," Yelena says.

The archer sits upright. "Did something happen?" she asks.

"Nothing to worry about," Yelena says, staring off into space, "I'm handling it," she says.

"Let me help you, Yelena."

"You wanna help me," - Yelena shoots to her feet - "just stay alert, and get a damn phone," she says, assisting Kate back onto her feet. "I'm so tired," Yelena says, making her way to her room. "Are you coming to bed?" she asks.
