The rising sun breaks through the shaded window causing Yelena to toss over in bed. She finds Kate watching her closely from the other pillow. "That's creepy Bishop," she says, before tossing back around. Her eyes zero in on the photo of she and Natasha on the nightstand and she flips onto her back. By now, Kate is also staring at the ceiling, and is engrossed by the mural of Russian ballerinas.

Yelena playfully wiggles her finger in Kate's ear, causing her to flinch wildly. Her head bounces off the massive wooden headboard and she cries out in pain. The thud is so loud it makes Yelena shoot upright. She grabs Kate and inspects her head for any possible damage. "Pain only makes you stronger," she tells the archer.

"You're kinda an ass," Kate says - Yelena expresses shock at the disparaging attack - "no really, who says that? You didn't even kiss it or anything," Kate complains.

"What are you five?" Yelena asks.

"Depends on the injury," Kate says.

"Okay fine," Yelena groans, as she leans in to treat the infant like adult with a kiss. "Did that make the pain go away at all?" she asks, gazing into the archer's hazel eyes.

"Not even a little," Kate answers, gazing back into a pair of ocean blue's, "but maybe if we stay like this for a few more minutes." Kate traces the contour of Yelena's face with her fingertips. "This would be the perfect time... for you to admit you love me," the archer says.

"I let you sleep in my bed with your filthy street clothes, didn't I?" Yelena responds.

"Well I tried to change into PJ's but you said you were too comfortable to move," Kate says. "Also, you're in your street clothes too."

"Yes, but it's my bed."

"Yes, and it's the first time you've let me stay the night. Which makes me think something's wrong," Kate says.

"Well, you did admit that you love me soo... it's the least I can do, right?" Yelena says. She jumps out of bed and pulls the covers off Kate. "It's time to get up. We have places to go."

Kate jumps out of the taxi once they finally arrive at their destination. Which until now, Yelena has managed to keep secret. "'Modern Pinball', I haven't been here since I was like seven," Kate says with a joyous grin. She jets into the arcade with the spirit of a toddler as Yelena follows her lead. The archer scans the room, then locks eyes on a pinball machine in the middle of the room. "Xenon!" she squeals, as she jumps in front of the machine.

Yelena stands to the side sipping her small breakfast coffee while Kate starts racking up the score. The brunette is rattling around like a kid hopped up on candy. "Take it easy Kate. How can you be so bouncy so soon after breakfast?"

"Well unlike some people, I didn't have two bacon egg and cheese sandwiches," Kate retorts. She glances at the blonde who doesn't seem to be as enthralled with the arcade ambiance. Kate grabs the coffee from her and forces her to switch positions. A shift that catches Yelena off guard. Kate places her friend's hand on the machine, and instructs her, "You have to wait, its all about timing," she says.

The assassin is good at many things, but pinball does not appear to be one of them. Kate guzzles the last drops of coffee then tosses the cup. She covers Yelena's hands with her own and says, "I'm not letting you lose my game." The brunette's overarching presence helps Yelena into a grove, and the two bide in that mode for the remainder of their stay.
