"Central what the hell is going on over there?!" I ask.
"Sir we are getting reports now that the enemy has deployed multiple new types of aliens they are insectoid in appearance and from what reports we are getting can make more of themselves by killing other people we don't know how they do it but Dr. Vahlen should have an answer when Strike 1 gets back" Bradford responds.
"Ok what about Strike 1 and someone tells who the hell is the new contact that is ABOVE THE FUCKING CITY" I scream out the last part.
"S..sir for the first one Strike 1 is being pined by the new alien bug type they can't move in further without risking the entire team and for the second part….we don't know it's unlike anything we have seen before from what our analysts have determined from the reports and video footage its length is 2.5 kilometers (8,200 ft) and 800 meters in width (2,600 ft) it's the largest ship that we have seen to date and….well sir I think you should look at this" he hands me his pad.
It's a picture of the ship on one of its sides and from the picture itself I can tell this thing is a warship guns bristling across its Hull but what shocks me the most is the lettering on the side….that's in English.

I stare dumbfounded it's human?!

"….Bradford it this Intel accurate," I ask with clear disbelief in my voice
"Sir it's as accurate as it can get and from what reports we are getting from the National Guard in the area it's been deploying troops and bases for the past 30 minutes all of them human and clearing the city of aliens as well it seems that the enemy knows that we are the most dangerous threat right now because the aliens have been using those…bug things to stall our troops and having the more…'smart' aliens rampage across the city," Bradford says in an angry voice and I don't blame him.
God damnit this is a shit show first the bugs and now this clusterfuck.
Wait if they are human…..
"Bradford can we get in contact with that ship," I ask
"Sir we have been trying for the past 15 minutes and we have received no answer s-" before Bradford can say anything else one of my officers chime up.
"Sir incoming message from the council it's for you," he said
Oh, fuck my life.
*30 minutes later*
"Hello Commander we have called you here today to discuss the Houston attack," the Spokesman said
I nod and prepare for the incoming…bad shit because honestly, I am expecting to lose my job but this is the council it could be a debrief or it could be my resignation they are asking for.
"We have reviewed the progress of Strike 1 in the attack and they performed to the best of their ability however we have decided to allocate another skyranger for your use and you will not leave another city almost helpless to the alien menace is that understood," the Spokesman says
I am stunned by this on one hand I am very great full for the skyranger on the other hand I am a little insulted by the 2 bit.
"Thank you sir," I say with gratefulness but with a bit of anger.
"Good n-" before he can speak the screen turns into static and I start panicking on the inside.
"Bradford!" I shout
"On it sir" he rushes to a console and tries to re-establish a connection to the Spokesman
"That will not be necessary," a new voice says.
We look up and see that the screen is split in two one side with the Spokesman and the other an older-looking man on the other side.
"Who are you how the hell did you get the frequency" I demand
"I am Admiral Preston J Cole of the UNSC Everest and as to how that will be omitted if these talks become productive," the man says.
Wait UNSC it was on the ship.
"Wait is that ship above Houston?" I ask
"Yes it is commander we had to send it or more people were going to die" he explains.
He is right about that by the time Strike 1 would have broken through the bugs it would have been too late.
"UNSC as in United Nations Security Council?" I ask
"No United Nations Space Command" he responds
Before I can speak again the Spokesman speaks up.
"What do you want Admiral?" he asks
"Same as you the protection of Mankind" he States boldly.
"Where do you come from," the Spokesman asks not a shred of emotion in his voice.
"Well this going to be one for the egg heads to solve but we come from 2552 or rather I come from 2547," he says
Oh, come on aliens now time-traveling humans.
"So you say you are from our future?" the Spokesman speaks
"Not exactly our history does not have aliens invading the early" he explains.
Oh, co-wait this early?
"Wait are you saying that we are invaded in the future?" I ask
"…..In 2525 February 21 the outer colony Harvest ceased all Communications in response to this a vessel was sent to check the system….it was lost with all hands…..on August the 19th a battle group was sent to check on the system 2 ships were lost with all hands with a 3rd one being heavily damaged and so started the bloodiest war for mankind with 800 worlds destroyed and from the resent death toll is 23 billion" he says in a tone of grief and anger but not showing it on his face.
Meanwhile, we all are stunned 23 billion…..gone and 800 worlds…..that war makes ours look like a border skirmish.
"However your war has given us an opportunity with the technology reverse-engineered here we can hopefully buy time for earth and the rest of the colonies," he says with a bit of hope in his voice.
"….Then what do you propose Admiral?" the Spokesman asks…..what the fuck how is he not even fazed by this.
"I propose this we work together we share technology and we capture the alien leaders for trial," he says.
….We don't have a choice in this if we refuse we lose this war and man with it, however, if we do then we allow an unknown on earth hell the whole 23 billion could be fake…..we don't have a choice but to accept this.
"Ok…..you have a deal," I say.
"….After a brief deliberation the Council agrees to this…proposal," the Spokesman says
"Good then let's get started"
Out Side Sol System

Space is a very vast thing no?
So it's not surprising that the Elders have placed their base outside the Sol System.
And what would be known as the 'Uber Elder' pondered on its next course of action as the newcomers have disrupted its plan considerable as the humans were not supposed to have any ships yet and from the readings sent from the battle group it had sent to intercept the human ships they were more advanced then the ones on there home planet and more deadly as out of the 5 battleships and multiple scouts and fighter craft it had sent to stop them only a hand full had come back.
Who were these humans and why were they so advanced and where had they come from.
And to make matters worse it had checked some strange sensor readings from a week ago from the Sol System it had originated between the planet known as Venus and Earth it seems that the human fleet had originated there.
Maybe if it went to the origin point of this fleet it could be followed to its source and maybe...find to test subjects.
Already they had killed off a majority of their stock in testing as it seems while human genes are very flexible...their bodies are not...disappointing
The raid on the human city would have been enough for months for general stock and control populations as they would be able to test vigorously and test the new Chryssalids and from footage received from the surface, they have worked spectacularly though it looks like it would be only for those type of missions as the way they reproduce is not satisfactory for their purposes as they kill and destroy the humans they kill and I am starting to think that making them was a mistake for its only purpose is to terrorize the local populous not much else.
Still, that mission both worries and infuriates it as if it had succeeded then the humans would be rolling over by now but now they have to do this the hard way.
And so they would build new bigger ships to combat the new humans and hopefully capture their leaders and maybe and just maybe...it could save its race.
As the alien looks out at the space fortress it can see the new shipyards being in placed for new capital ships and more soldiers being produced to fight.
It ponders.

Near The Gas Giant Saturn

If the Gas Giant could think it would think right now
'What are those small metal things near me?'
And those metal things would be ships...ships with a symbol...the symbol of the Insurrection.
This fleet was the same fleet that slipped to help Cole at his final stand.
At the lead ship the Bellicose a modified Chiron class frigate her captain being the former lover of Cole and mother of his son.
As the crew on all ships began to wake up the Captain of the Bellicose began looking through their local star map and had discovered that they were at Sol it's self she order the ship to combat-ready status and order the fleet to do the same.
After a few minutes of nothing, she order the coms officer to check for any signals as they were literally at Earth's doorstep, and what he reported shocked her.
Nothing...no UNSC or UEG signals anywhere at first she was elated...then she got worried.
If they where is Sol then where is everyone?
She had her officer check any signals coming from Earth and well...from what she had been told it seems that they were in the early 21st century and something even more worrying was the fact that the News was reporting that aliens had attacked Houston Texas.
But what was most shocking was...that the News was reporting that the city was saved and that the Admiral of the fleet was coming to New York to hold a conference with the UN...and it was Cole the love of her life...he had contacted her and planed his Final Stand so that they could be together with their son...did he really mean that?
She shook her head if she wanted answers then Cole would give them and so she ordered the fleet to burn towards Earth and find some answers.
As she looks outside her bridge window she thinks to herself
'Cole I hope to god you are alive and you have answers for this'
Ok so I rewrote this chapter and now hopefully this makes more sense and also will give some more stakes in this.
Also write reviews plz I need them so I can make sure I am getting it right.
