-Kara pov-
"Alright it is just some simple tests right?" Lena nods and stands behind the lead protecter with Lilian "You two are just like me you know! Lena get out here and help with your kids!"
"We need two minds of science" Eliza taps Lena on the shoulder and she sighs "Fine! I am coming out!"
"Thank you" Lena comes over and we look at the twins "We can do this"
"Yes we can" Lena chuckles "I mean they are our babies! There is no way we can not handle two kids that came from our DNA combination right?"
"Right!" I turn toward the twins just for a laser to the eye "Ow! That is going to hurt!"
"I am out!" I grab Lena by the foot to stop her from flying away "Let me go!"
"No you are not leaving me!" I look to see Lily starting to float "Lena I am letting you go"
She looks confused "Why?" I let go and point to Lily "Oh god Lils!"
"So just babies huh?" I glare at my mom who smirks "Your other one is tearing apart the wall behind her while you glare at me Kara Zor Luthor!"
I quickly turn and get her away from the wall. It took us all day yesterday to fix the warehouse. I am not letting them destroy star labs too. We need something to use to help them.
"I got it!" I turn my attention to Barry as he comes down with Caitlyn and Cisco "We got the bracelets working! We just need to put them on the twins"
"No" I shake my head and pick up Elizabeth "No I am not dampening their powers!"
"Kara they could hurt someone right now" Barry holds out the bracelets "Think about this please!"
"I am not turning my babies off!" I look at Lena who is holding Lily "They are not being turned off"
"Kara this is about their futures" Lena walks over and grabs the bracelets "Please"
"I want them to be proud of who they are" I feel the tears fall down my face "Please do not make me do this"
"Kara think about it" Lena puts the bracelet on Lily "She can play with other kids now! She can go to school and when she is home we would let her push the button! They could patrol with you! They could be Zor-El's! Just please till we know how to help them"
"I want them to have good lives" I look at Elizabeth chewing on her thumb "I am not a bad mom"
"You are the best mom" I look up at Barry "You are doing something to make sure they get the normal lives we never could"
"I had one once" I look at the bracelet in his hand "It was on krypton..it was with my family"
"We all can use them" I turn toward Eliza who walks out from behind the lead protector "It keeps us aging with you and not flying off the walls"
"Alright" I grab the bracelet and put it on Elizabeth's wrist "We can give them the choice when they get older"
"Thank you" I nod with a smile to Lena "Now we work on bracelets or jewelry for them"
I nod and we follow them upstairs. This is to give them normal lives. I wonder if I could finally have a normal life. No powers or villains to worry about.
It has been silent for a year now. I could do it and be fine. I will have Barry make it with some thing important. Supergirl seems to be retired right now anyways.
"Hey" I look at Caitlyn who is whispering "You staying for the statue unveiling? I know he has not said it but Barry would appreciate it if you did"
"Yeah" I bounce Elizabeth on my hip "It is the least we can do for what he did for Barry and us"
"He was always the enemy but he could have helped as the good guy" I nod and we turn toward Barry arguing with Iris "What are they arguing about?"
"I have no idea" I listen in some "Hang on"
"You keep spending time planning for the guy who ruined your life!" Iris pokes Barry on the chest "That is not what a hero would do!"
"Why are you making such a big deal against this?" Barry moves Iris's hand off "It is nothing bad to do! He took a bullet for me and now he is dead! Would you rather I had died?"
"You know I would rather you be alive" Iris sighs and shakes her head "We are supposed to be the flash Barry and this looks bad on us..have you even thought about me?"
"What have you ever done?" I hand Caitlyn Elizabeth and walk over angry "Barry risks his life! You have always stayed and complained! You nag and bitch about everything! He needs encouragement not someone who puts him down!"
"Some of us were not aliens with powers" Iris tries to look big and bad "You are gifted and lucky! Then again I at least still have my dad"
"You got powers once and you have never been anything since" I push my finger into her chest and lace my words with venom "You are nothing will never be anything! I have been nice for too long with you! During crisis we did not need you! Caitlyn is smarter, Lena is smarter, and hell I would even take a damn squirrel! Thawne protected the earth and Barry for what? You to abuse him verbally and emotion?! No...you are not welcome near my children or my family"
Iris tightens her jaw and turns "You need to leave my lab" She looks at Barry for support "Kick her out Barry"
"You are better than this Barry" I look him in the eyes "You know you deserve better than this..do not do it"
"She is right" I frown and I see iris smirk victoriously "I deserve better than this"
"I could not agree more" Joe walks over and he is visibly upset "I raised you better than this Iris...we are going home"
"Please come back for the statue Joe" He nods and Barry gives him a quick hug "I will see you later"
"You are still welcome to the wedding too" He nods and walks away with Iris "You going to divorce her?"
"I may take this to Dr. Quinn and see" Barry sighs and looks at me "Thanks for the help"
"That is what heroes do" I walk over to Caitlyn and grab Elizabeth "Give if a few days and maybe you can finally have him be yours"
"What?" Her face grows red and she looks away "I-I do not like him like that!"
"Sure" I chuckle and walk away "I will be back later with some food! Got to eat so you have energy for the statute reveal!"
-Time skip-
"I know Thawne was not the best man in this time" Barry sighs and looks out at the crowd "He caused countless incidents and some deaths...but in his final weeks I got to meet the real Thawne..the one who thought of me as his hero! Me..the guy he tried to kill a few times...I will always think of him as my reverse but at star labs today..Today we we reveal this statue of reverse Flash because he is the reason I am still here...the reason all of us are still here"
The league all stand and help him pull off the cover. Barry smiles as he looks up at it. No matter what happened this was his mentor. He was his father figure outside of Joe.
"There has been peace in all of you cities recently" We all turn toward a man in glasses walking toward the stage "How long do you think it will last? So you think there is something more coming? What came first Justice League? The chicken or the egg?"
"Uh sir what do you mean?" He shrugs with a smirk and walks away "This is the end of the reveal"
"No questions" We quickly walk off the stage and toward the lab "Something is coming"
"We need to be ready" We walk to the tube controls and Oliver puts in the code "We are responsible for protecting the earth now"
"Agreed" We all turn as John walks toward us with a green ring "But it is no longer just our earth we need to protect"
"Space" He nods and I sigh "Things just got a whole lot less calm"
