"Ash, hand over Mewtwo." Kazor said stepping forward. "You don't know what you're dealing with."
"I know everyone's safer if it's with me." Ash said.
"Ash it's escaped our facilities three times now, you don't want to get on its bad side." Kazor said.
"Pretty sure I helped it escape last time." Ash said, putting the Master Ball away. "Besides why should I trust you, you lied to me."
"I never lied to you, you just don't understand our full goals." Kazor said.
"Like cloning Ash, and kidnapping Articuno!" Megan argued.
"Necessary moves towards a better tomorrow." Kazor said calmly.
"You aren't getting Mewtwo." Gary said, stepping in front of the group.
"I really wish you would have listened to reason." Kazor said. "But I can't have you hurting Kanto's chances for survival any more."
"KRAAAA!" A monstruos cry was heard over the city as a bird like creature came into view.
"I told you that Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres were once one, and I have brought them back to there true form. Meet Zapmolcuno!" Kazor said, as the bird landed. "And his equal."
Hopping off of Zapmolcuno was yet another Ash.
"Meet the perfect life form, not one being but two with shared DNA, this clone, The Perfect Ash if you would is combined with the DNA of each of our regions birds, and they in return have some of your DNA. They are made for each other." Xia said, as the rocket robot came forth.
Inside the cockpit
"Oh, that'll show them, scare them with science." Revan's spirit joked.
"Aren't you dead?" Xia said, turning off the mic.
"Yeah, and I have you to thank for that by the way." Revan said mockingly. "That gift of yours must be really bad considering how many people you've killed."
"Most don't leave behind their spiritual forms." Xia said with a tinge of annoyance. "Now let me work."
Back on the ground
"You can't do this!" Cody exclaimed.
"You don't even know what I'm doing." Kazor said.
"Well, no I guess I don't." Cody realized.
"It doesn't matter, we'll stop you." Gilbert said with shaky confidence.
"But can you stop all three of us?" Kazor asked.
"Ash, handle this guy. I'll take care of the bird issue. Everyone else, stop that robot." Gary said, taking charge.
"Got it." Everyone said, soon leaving Ash on his own to face Kazor.
"Last chance, you can join us and be something great." Kazor said.
"I already am." Ash said. "Pikachu let's go!"
"Pikachu come out." Revan commanded.
"Pikachu use Thunderbolt!" Both trainers called out.
With Ash's Pikachu weakened from the constant battling, he was blown off his feet as Kazor's Pikachu's Thunderbolt broke through his own.
"Pikachu use Thunder." Kazor said coldly. "I had such high hopes for you two."
Thunder struck down from the sky, sending rocks flying in every direction, Ash had been blown off of his feet and tossed back, barely keeping his eyes open.
"Pi. Ka. CHU!" Ash's Pikachu yelled, having absorbed the entirety of Kazor's Pikachu's Thunder attack to reponer himself back up. He sped off towards the other Pikachu knocking it into the air.
"Go Pikachu!" Ash exclaimed. "Use Thunderbolt!"
"Pikachu use your Thunderbolt!" Kazor commanded.
Ash's Pikachu's Thunderbolt arched like crazy, dancing in and out of Kazor's Pikachu's Thunderbolt before striking the larger Pikachu up and into the air.
"Pikachu use Quick Attack!" Ash called out.
Pikachu leapt from standing still, straight at Kazor's Pikachu, striking it, and sending it flying again.
"Grahh!"
Charizard swooped in, landing with Kazor's Pikachu, as Aerodactyl, Porygon, Primeape and Muk appeared beside him.
"Ash, don't you get it, you helped me catch the most dangerous Pokemon in Kanto, we were meant to work together, but instead you decide to betray me, you picked the wrong side for this." Kazor said.
"No, I know I picked the right side, and I'll prove it, everyone come on out!" Ash said, hoping to even the odds.
Rapidash, and Seel came out of their Pokeballs as Jigglypuff and Dratini joined by Pikachu's side, facing down the much larger and more intimidating Pokemon.
"Pikachu use Thunder. Porygon use Tri Attack. Aerodactyl use Hyper Beam. Charizard use Flamethrower. Primeape use Hyper Beam. Muk use Sludge." Kazor said.
The six attacks hit Ash and his team, scattering them apart.
"Face it, you've lost." Kazor said, as the Rocket Robot, and Zapmolcuno reappeared behind him.
Ash looked around the torn up area, Kazor was right, everyone was defeated, it didn't look like they were hurt, but Ash was definitely the only one still conscious.
"You're fighting forces beyond anything you've ever seen, give up and we'll spare you." Kazor said.
"Ash!" Cassie said, rushing through the smoke and rubble to his side.
"Cassie!" Ash exclaimed, seeing the robot turn its fist locking onto Cassie.
"I know you don't like me, but I think you like them even less. Mewtwo I choose you!" Ash said, tossing out the Master Ball.
The robot's fist launched, only to stop mid air as Mewtwo grabbed it with his psychic energy.
"Tini!" Dratini shouted firing a Hyper Beam at the now exposed mechanics inside the robot.
"Dratini!" Ash exclaimed, seeing the Dragon wriggle out of some rubble. Nearby Rapidash managed to push itself up, having protected both Seel and Jigglypuff from most of the attack.
"Pika!" Pikachu said, running to Ash's side.
"Zapmolcuno use Thunder, Blizzard, and Fire Blast!" The Perfect Ash commanded.
'YOU DO NOT BELONG!' Mewtwo said, creating a shield that stopped all the attacks. 'DRATINI TRUSTS YOU YOUNG ONE, STOP THEM!'
An energy flowed over Ash and his Pokemon, he wasn't sure how, but he knew even Vileplume had been restored.
"Alright everyone." Ash said, standing tall as he sent out Vileplume. "Six of them and six of you, make each attack count."
"Wrong!" Xia's voice shouted from the now one armed robot. "It is twelve on six!"
From the robot six beams of light came out, adding a Slowbro, Marowak, Farfetch'd, Gengar, Chansey, and Tangela.
"We've got this." Cassie reassured, standing next to Ash.
"Pikachu use Quick Attack! Vileplume use Petal Dance! Jigglypuff use Body Slam! Rapidash use Stomp! Dratini use Dragon Rage! Seel use Ice Beam!"
"Pikachu use Double Edge! Porygon use Psychic! Aerodactyl use Bite! Charizard use Seismic Toss! Primeape use Mega Kick! Muk use Body Slam!"
"Marowak use Bonemerang! Farfetch'd use Slash! Chansey use Egg Bomb! Tangela use Wrap! Slowbro use Psychic! Gengar use Night Shade!"
Pikachu ran across the battlefield as his friends took on the other larger and more frightening Pokémon, but he had his target set, no one copied his best friend and got away with it. Pikachu lunged at The Perfect Ash, sending the clone to the ground with a thud, as Zapmolcuno recoiled from it as well apparently.
"Pikachu stop! You're hurting Articuno and the others!" Ash exclaimed, trying to think of a plan.
'THE BIRDS' BONDS ARE WEAK! IF WE CAN CAUSE ENOUGH UNNATURAL PAIN, ONE MAY SPLIT!' Mewtwo said.
Ash looked around the battlefield, all of his Pokémon except for Pikachu were outnumbered and outmatched.
"Umm, uhhh." Ash said looking through his bag for an answer. "Mewtwo catch!" Ash said throwing one of the remaining training machines.
'THIS WILL WORK.' Mewtwo said eerily, shattering the disc with psychic energy. 'TASTE ROCKSLIDE!'
Rocks lifted from the surrounding area, being flung at Zapmolcuno.
Zapdos's head and wing began sparratically flinging about from the damage before breaking free from the bonds.
"Xia! What's happening!" Kazor demanded.
"This shouldn't be possible, this level of power wasn't calculated for." Xia said.
"No matter!" The Perfect Ash said, his body flinching. "We! Can! Still! Do! With two of them!"
"Sorry about this Articuno. But without Zapdos, this is gonna hurt. Pikachu use Thunderbolt!" Ash commanded.
Pikachu sped across the ravaged battlefield that was now surging from Zapdos's electricity. He leapt into the air unleashing a Thunderbolt that tore the remaining birds in two.
"It's over Kazor! Surrender and I'll go easy on you." Ash said, the legendary birds and Mewtwo standing behind him.
"Ash, look." Cassie said pointing at The Perfect Ash.
The clone was convulsing crazily, doubling over as his flesh bubbled in and out. When he finally stood again, half his face was melted while the other half was bulging out.
"Oh, that's not pretty." Ash said, a bit disgusted.
"Kazor, what is our next attack." Xia asked.
"Leave the robot, we retreat." Kazor said.
"Sir!" The Perfect Ash said angrily.
"Today we have lost, we will regroup and come up with a new strategy, but we knew the risks of combining the birds, it was a one time thing, they're immune to it now." Kazor said. "Let's move!"
Ash watched in shock at the three team rocket members and their gathered Pokémon walked away. He was brought out of his stupor when Articuno nuzzled against him.
"Hey, glad to see you're okay." Ash said, petting the legendary. "I think you're all safe now, free to be your own selves."
'There is some unfinished business to take care of.' Mewtwo said.
"I don't know why you want Dratini, but I'm not letting you take him." Ash said, standing his ground.
'All I wish is for the child to be safe and happy, and if that's with you then it's enough for me, but there is still the other issue.' Mewtwo said, looking at the Master Ball.
"Consider yourself free." Ash said, burying it beneath his other equipment. "I don't care what Team Rocket says, you're not a monster, and this way no one can capture you again."
'Thank you Ashton.' Mewtwo said. 'Take care child.' Mewtwo said patting some dust off of Dratini's head. 'As for you, watch over your brother when I can't.' Mewtwo said to Cassie.
