Day 2-Foxiyo: Forehead kisses
Fox hopped off the speeder and turned around to help Senator Chuchi off.
"Thank you, Fox," Chuchi said. "For taking me home again tonight. You do realize you don't need to do this every night though."
Fox shrugged as he took off his helmet and set that down on the seat of the speeder. "I know, Senator. But it's the only opportunity I get to spend time with you...alone." He looked down "I don't mind doing it anyway…it's a good way to set an end for my day too…I like it…"
Chuchi smiled and reach a hand up to touch the Commander's face. "That's very sweet. You know that my offer still stands if you want to come in and at least eat? Certainly I won't make you stay the night, but you deserve a good meal at the very least!"
"I appreciate your kindness Senator, but I assure you that I'm all set." Fox sighed. "But...Thank you all the same."
Chuchi smiled. "Alright then. I suppose, I'll see you tomorrow?"
Fox took her hand and kissed it. "As always."
Chuchi lifted up Fox's head and planted a kiss on his cheek. "Indeed, my brave soldier."
Fox blushed, though in the dark she wouldn't be able to see; all the same, he pulled his face away, and looked into her eyes, a bittersweet smile on his face.
He put the smaller, slim hand to his face, resting Chuchi's palm there. Then he grabbed her head and gently pressed their foreheads together.
The gesture surprised Chuchi, and she was unsure of what to make of it. When Fox pulled back she chuckled. "What was that?"
Fox looked her in the eyes and simply said, "A Keldabe kiss."
"A what? came the confused, but genuine response.
"A Keldabe kiss," Fox repeated. "It's a Mandalorian form of intimacy. A Mandalorian kiss, basically," he mumbled scratching his neck.
By the time the clone commander finished speaking he was blushing again.
Chuchi widened her smile. "That's very sweet of you, Fox. I like it. Thank you."
Fox looked down and mumbled, "you're welcome."
Chuchi gently laughed. "You don't need to be embarrassed. I'm not mad."
Fox shrugged. "I know. But it still feels...strange."
Chuchi nodded understandingly. "I know. But everything will be alright. Goodnight, Fox." She gave himself one last kiss on his cheek before heading up the steps of the building.
"Goodnight," Fox responded.
Once she was safely inside, Fox sighed and put his helmet back on, climbing back onto the speeder.
"Riyo," he whispered.
