Day 3- Rexsoka: Morning Together

Ahsoka slowly blinked her eyes, registering that it was lighter in the room. She groaned and rolled over, reluctant to get out of the warm bed. Instead, she curled up against Rex's body, the majority of the heat coming from him. A smile crept onto the Togruta's face as she decided that, maybe for once, she would just stay in bed until Rex woke up.

The man shifted his position slightly in his sleep and wrapped an arm around Ahsoka body pulling her closer to his chest. This evoked a soft giggle from her as she buried her face in his chest. She took a deep breath. He smelled good. As always.

After resting like that for a few minutes, Ahsoka turned around, her back to Rex's face. She could feel his breath on her back lek and sighed with contentment. She pulled Rex's hand up to her lips and gave his fingers a kiss. The man pulled her closer and she willingly relaxed into his arms, snuggling as close as she was able to his warm body.

Just as she had begun to think that she might fall back to sleep, she heard a whispered, "Good morning, love," in her right lek.

Slightly startled, yet still pleasantly surprised, Ahsoka opened her eyes to see a face in her peripheral vision. She smiled as Rex leaned down to plant a kiss on her cheek. Her smile widened.

"Good morning, sweetheart," she replied, returning his gesture.

"You're still in here," Rex said with a smile as he buried his face in her shoulder.

Ahsoka shrugged. "Yeah, it was too cold to get up. Besides, I figured you wouldn't mind a surprise."

"I certainly don't mind," Rex said, kissing Ahsoka's neck. "But aren't the Jedi up at the temple gonna wonder where you are?"

Ahsoka turned around to face Rex and they both laid down again. "Maybe they will. But I don't really care. I like it here with you." With that, she kissed his nose and he smiled.

"You're are ridiculous, my love," Rex chuckled.

Ahsoka smirked. "Indeed, sweetheart."

Rex shook his head and kissed her on the lips.

"Can we just lie here for a few more minutes?" Ahsoka asked, looking into Rex's eyes.

Rex smiled. "Of course. I'd like that." He pulled her closer, and she pressed the side of her face to his chest. "Just a few more minutes," he whispered.
