Sirius woke up in the morning a huge smile on his face. He could get used to this as he woke in the comfiest four poster king sized bed he'd ever been in, in his life. He could tell even his own mother hadn't had a bed this comfortable. He got up his feet landing on the soft carpet as he slipped them into his slippers and put on his dressing gown. He went downstairs one thought on his mind. He asked Kreacher for a hot chocolate and a sausage sandwich as he sat at the dining room table. "Kreacher do you know why Alphard was initially kicked out of the family?" he asked as Kreacher smiled at him.

"Yes I do. Back in the day it was a law that if you were going to throw someone from your family you had to write down a journal entry explaining why. That law has since been revoked but old master Orion never thought to ask Kreacher this question although I don't know why. I will bring you the journal entry now!" he said leaving as Sirius ate his breakfast in peace. A few minutes later he returned with the opened journal and placed it in front of Sirius on the table who looked at it with apprehension. He'd always adored Alphard but what if he'd done something awful? What if he'd killed someone? Maybe bringing him back into the family yesterday had been a bad idea. He'd check first though and change it later on if need be.

Dear journal,

Today I have discovered many things about Alphard Cygnus Black which I can no longer ignore. It is for this reason that I have kicked him from the family. Although he may have had very good intentions I am a serious man and take everything I do very seriously indeed which does include my marital vows. They are there for a reason and not to be ignored. Alphard is a bigamist something I cannot stand for under any circumstances. He discovered his first wife planned to attempt an assassination of me but instead of divorcing her which is politically, contractually and indeed morally correct he went off and married another woman whilst simply obliviating his real wife. If he can do that to his wife what else can he do to others?

I have recently been to the muggle world for reasons of my own and I have discovered that for bigamy here people are sent to jail of all things. I do not wish for Alphard to go to jail but when I told him he could have taken a mistress instead of doing this he refused to do so and called me a fool. He wouldn't take a mistress yet bigamy was fine. I cannot understand this way of thinking truly. He claimed he could not convince his original wife that to try and assassinate me would be a fatal mistake. He told me that no matter what he did she would not be swayed and that he had to obliviate her when she told him she'd do it with or without him. I cannot stop imagining if he'd obliviated me and in my fear I have removed him from the family. The Black family will not associate itself with the likes of bigamists! No problems just solutions.

Sirius laughed as he finished reading it. This was indeed funny. Thank Merlin Alphard had not done something like killing someone else because he would have severely regretted it. Bigamy was not something he actually agreed with himself but he didn't think it was something he could ever kick someone from the family for doing. It was wrong there's no doubt about that. Also Arcturus had highly contradicted himself here. He had said bigamy was exceptionally wrong yet having a mistress wasn't wrong in any way shape or form. You didn't get to have both and Sirius thought he might have known that but then again some members of his family were mad so maybe he didn't.

"Kreacher do you know what happened to Alphard's first wife?" he asked as Kreacher nodded yes.

"I was only a child at this time working here but my late mother did tell me all about it as it was high gossip at this time. Unfortunately Alphard wasn't as good at obliviating her as he thought and he failed. She went on to try several times to kill Arcturus which the black family magic wouldn't allow. It drove her so mad that in her insane rage she took her own life. She had thought that killing Arcturus would make her the new lady Black which it wouldn't have. That woman was demented inside and out. Alphards second wife Prudence was wonderful. She loved him so very much and he was indeed very lucky!" Kreacher enthused as Sirius smiled. It was good to finally see Kreacher looking so well after so long.

"Did Alphard and Prudence have any children? I couldn't see a record of that anywhere! How old is now anyway?" he asked as Kreacher smiled.

"Alphard is one hundred years young and still in optimum health. Yes they did. They had eight healthy children all of whom are still living. It would seem that having many children was not a problem for Alphard. Because you brought him back into the family they will now be Blacks properly as well. There is Luna, Lyra, Aurora, Perseus, Aries, Pandora, Draconis and Sirius. He loved you so much he named his last son after you!" he said as Sirius looked stunned. He adored Alphard as well. In fact he always had any time he'd seen him which he had done many times growing up. Orion didn't agree with him being kicked from the family and so he saw him often. He never thought to ask why he'd been kicked from the family for reasons better known to himself. Sirius was stunned completely at the amount of children Alphard had sired and wondered how Prudence was not a wreck completely from so many children until he'd learned that there'd been two sets of twins and a set of quads. This was rare magically but did happen from time to time especially in families as old as the Blacks were. He would be seeing Harry for the first time in person later on today and was super excited. He planned to give Harry his own bedroom here so he could stay over at weekends.

Elsewhere Harry was teaching Vernon another lesson muggle style. He liked that he was getting to punish Vernon in a muggle way for all of the previous beatings he'd endured. One trip to some different pharmacies later and he had enough laxatives to suit his needs. The laxatives he'd gotten in liquid form were injected into a packet of sweets he'd placed in Vernon's car. The sweets had not already been there but as Vernon knew he didn't have access to them he'd just assume he bought them and forgot about them or something. It was oddly satisfying to watch Vernon storm in the door frightening Petunia as he shrieked clenching his butt cheeks together. Try as he might through Vernon didn't make it to the toilet screaming as he shit himself. It slid down his legs and onto his shoes as Vernon who saw it fainted on top of it making Petunia growl at him in rage. What the hell was wrong with him? That was four times this week that he'd had this problem. He couldn't stop shitting and it was seriously getting in the way of their other activities as well. Harry decided to play up a bit more and when he was asked to clean the kitchen he claimed to have found another receipt for Secrets and asked her what he should do with it. Petunia looked at him in shock as she grabbed the receipt from him not sure what it was truly and balked as she looked at it.

"Finish cleaning up freak and then get back to that cupboard. In fact tonight you are going to be staying with a friend of your parents. He will keep you away from us for a few nights thank fuck. Do not try to return before Wednesday!" she snapped as he thought of Sirius and smiled.

She went upstairs to scream at Vernon when she heard him scream instead. "Oh Petunia it hurts but I can't stop it!" he was moaning as she looked at him in visceral disgust. With all of Vernon's lies it was becoming evident that a different living situation might be upon them all. If he couldn't stop lying it would end badly for all of them. Harry heard was sounded like a clatter and other scream from Vernon.

"If you ever and I mean EVER lie to me again Vernon we are through do you hear me? I might not like a fucking scandal in my own home and the freak was bad enough but this I simply won't take. You either decide to treat me and our son right or we'll all leave. No more strippers and no more FUCKING LAPDANCES!" she shouted as he wailed in pain once more. Coming downstairs she wrenched open the cupboard and looked at Harry with such exceptional loathing.

"Are you still here? I thought you'd be packed by now it's not like you have much! GET OUT!" she shouted grabbing him by his collar and throwing him out the door as Dudley came home. She screamed at Dudley to get in and not cause a fucking scene. When he wailed this time about to throw a fit she slapped him across the face shouting that she couldn't take it anymore and wouldn't be taking it either. Dudley was so shocked he couldn't even cry and didn't even think to throw a tantrum just coming inside quietly clutching at his face. When he said he needed to go to the toilet she proclaimed that Vernon had broken it and they couldn't use it until he got his shit together and then laughed at her own joke.

Harry was stunned as today was Wednesday so in essence he was staying with Sirius a whole week. He felt tears leaking from his eyes at that thought. He got Tilly to bring him to Sirius' house as prearranged. It was so exciting. He knew they'd have so much fun. Oh he'd missed Sirius so much.
