The Titan, Camillus sat in the Tower's bazaar, sipping on a cup of coffee as he listened to the Warlock, Cassandra.

"And Saint claims that there were no witnesses" She finished exasperated. She looked down into her own cup, as if studying it and then asked, "Why would our people do this?"

The mention of their 'people' made Camillus glance over the side of the wall at the City. He sighed and answered "They're scared" he took a sip and continued "All they know of the Eliskni is what we tell them"

"And that hasn't always been positive has it?"

Not answering the question Camillus said " Saint was telling me that Guardians have had to do monstrous things in order to protect our people" He chuckled and said "These Fall- I mean Eliskni, see us as monsters for what we have done to them, in the same way that humanity sees the them as monsters"

"Sometimes you don't sound like a Titan," she smiled.

The lighthearted atmosphere did not last long, and soon both of them were looking up at the sky, watching the oppressive Endless Night. After a few moments, Camillus said "Things between our people will be better when we put an end to this"

"Lakshmi and her people aren't making it very easy" Cassandra looked from the sky to Camillus "You know what the sad thing about this is?" she asked rhetorically. "I used to be apart of Future War Cult, I mean they made sense, and I never thought Lakshmi would be a racist demagogue"

Camillus shrugged his shoulders and replied "Well people surprise you that's for sure and besides it's not like the other Factions are much better anyway, New Monarchy is supporting Lakshmi and Dead Orbit is -"

"Is being Dead Orbit?" a new voice stated, as the final member of their fireteam, another Warlock, Magnus sat down. The man smiled and asked, "What are you guys talking about?"

"Oh, nothing really, just about the Factions and what not" Cassandra answered. She then pointed at him and asked, "Where have you been?"

"Ikora asked me to put together a small patrol of the Eliskni Quarter, to make sure that nothing like what happened last week happens again."

"Good, that something that we should have been doing a lot sooner"

"Well in truth I had quite the time getting a team that had the time to do it." he said "Most of our available teams are off fighting the Vex"

Camillus leaned back in his chair, happy to let those two catch up, while he thought about the current problems facing the City. The Endless Night, Eliskni moving in and the tensions that that had naturally caused. As he had tried to tell Cassandra earlier, he could understand why their citizens were nervous around them; they had grown up believing that they were monsters. It had come as a shock when he learned that the Eliskni thought the same of the Guardians, although now that he thought about it, it really shouldn't have. Like Saint had told him, they had done monstrous things to each other in the names of both of their peoples, and if there was to be peace, they would need to let go of the past grudges and hate that centuries of warfare had caused.

"Camillus you there?" he heard Magnus call out, as he waved his hand in front of his face.

Camillus swatted the hand away and looked at Magnus "What was that?"

"I asked you a question and you didn't answer"

Camillus blinked and leaned in "Sorry, I kinda got lost in my thoughts." he motioned for him to repeat the question.

"Have you noticed that Osiris seems to be a bit off lately?"

Camillus shrugged and replied "No more than usual, you know how he is, Ilkora says he has always been a bit eccentric" he drank the last bit of his coffee and was about to continue when his comlink buzzed.

Coming over the comlink, Saint 14 said "Camillus, Mithrax says that his splicers have found another one of those Vex minds that are continuing this infernal endless night"

Camillus replied over the link "Got it Saint, I'll be in the HELM in a few minutes" He stood up and said "Well my friends duty calls".

"Good luck Camillus '' Cassandra said as Camillus transmatted away. She looked over to Magnus and said "I wish that Mithrax's splicers would get more of those upgrades ready for our gauntlets"

Magnus nodded and replied "It is frustrating being sidelined like this" he paused "and besides it's not good for him"

Cassandra's face darkened. "No, it is not." she stood up "Come on, we can at least help Saint and Mithrax run tactical on his mission"

Magnus smiled and said "Yeah we can at least make him feel like he's not alone" he stood up and they both transmitted out. The Titan, Camillus sat in the Tower's bazaar, sipping on a cup of coffee as he listened to the Warlock, Cassandra.
