Chapter 3 Valentine's Day

Jake's POV

While Cubby was at Stormy's place, Mr. Smee was kind enough to babysit Princess and Baby Jay. It was just me and Izzy alone in the Hideout, So, to start our Valentine's day, I made us waffle shaped hearts with our initials on it JI. As we were enjoying our wonderful breakfast, with syrup, strawberries, and blueberries. For drinks, Izzy was having orange juice, and I was drinking Blackcurrant.

"Wow, Jake, this breakfast is delicious!' Izzy exclaimed with happiness.

"Okay, since we are done having our lovely breakfast Mr. Hutchinson it's time to exchange gifts to each other.'' Izzy toldme.

''Ooh, what did you get me?' I asked while I was beaming with excitement.

"Now hold on handsome, I'll give you your gifts before you get all excited, on me." She toldme.

"Izzy I'm fine." I told her.

"Happy Valentine's Day, Jakey!" I told her as she kissed me.

Once Izzy handed me the blue bag with blue ribbons on it, I opened it up and took out the first item. It was cologne. The next item was a card.

Dear Jake,

My handsome prince, you are one of the bravest, kindest, coolest, person I know. Since the day we met when we were young, I didn't know what love felt like, until you came into the picture. I know we will always be together forever.

Aww Izz, you're the best girlfriend I have ever had.' I said as I hugged her.

"Where's my gift, Jake?" Izzy asked as I had her gift behind my back.

"Here you go Izzy. Happy Valentine's Day!" I said to him as I handed her the bag.

Izzy's POV

As I opened the pink bag, I was shocked to see what was inside it. The first item I took out was a teddy bear, then perfume, chocolates, and a card.

Dear Izzy...

Since the first day I met you, I knew you were going to be my best friend forever. But as our friendship grew and grew, we became more than friends, we became...a couple. That's more than I have always wanted since we were kids. But I was too shy to tell you how I felt. I know you were feeling the same way back then as well. But now we can continue our journey together. Thanks for being my forever girl.

"Oh Jake this card is so beautiful, I love it. I'll put it on my dresser so I can look at it when I wake up every morning.." I told him.

"Your welcome." Jake said as we kissed.

Cubby's POV

While I was at my girlfriend Stormy's place, we were having our own romantic breakfast by eating coconuts.

"Stormy do you want more coconuts?'' I asked her, as she took a sip of her coconut milk shake I made for us.

"Yes please Cubby Wubby." Stormy said as I blushed after I gave her more coconuts.

"Thanks, Cubs." Stormy thanked me as she kissed my cheek.

"Alright, that was good. Time for gifts!" I said as Stormy looked up with a smile.

"Here's your gift, Cubby." Stormy said as I took her gift, as I opened it. The first item I took out was a heart shaped coconut and a card.

"Stormy, is this a picture of us?" I asked as she nodded her head.

"Wow, this is beautiful. Thanks, my love." I thanked her as I kissed her cheek.

Stormy's POV

As I opened my gift from Cubby, I took out a teddy bear and chocolates along with a card.

Dear Stormy,

When we were young, I never knew my life would change forever when I first laid my eyes on you. But Peter and Jake told me I was too young to date. So I decided to wait till I got a little bit older. Now I stand here before you to say that I love you, I won't let anything happen to you. You're my queen, Stormy.

After I read the card, I was tearing up, with happiness.

"Stormy, what's the matter, my love?" Cubby asked, as he was holding me tight.

"This card is beautiful, and I'll treasure it forever. I love you, Cubby!" Stormy said as she hugged me, after placing a kiss on my cheek.

"Oh, your welcome, Stormy. It's the least I can do for a cute girl like yourself, to get something nice from your boyfriend." I explained.

Jake's POV

As Izzy and I were watching a romantic movie downstairs in the living room, I snuggled up next to her.

"This movie, is so romantic, right izzy?" i aske as she nodded her head.

"Yeah, Jakey, this is so romantic, sweet, and cute." Izzy replied.

"True. Hey, we should get ready for our date at the restaurant." I reminded her as I turned off the TV and went to get ready.

Izzy's POV

As I was getting ready for my romantic date with Jake, I first did my hair by keeping it down. Then I did my makeup, by putting lipstick on my lips, then my red dress, with my small silver high heels. After I was ready I grabbed my purse and went downstairs.

Jake's POV

As I heard footsteps coming this way I turned around and saw Izzy in a beautiful red dress, with small silver high heels. I was in awe.

"How do I look Jake?" Izzy asked me.

"You look beautiful." I told her.

"So, Jake, where are we going?' Izzy wondered where we were going.

"Oh this is a surprise!" I told her.

"So you're not going to tell me. You're just going to keep it as surprised?" Izzy asked, as she was getting worried.

"Yep, it's just a surprise, you'll find out when we get to that point." I told her as we arrived at the restaurant.

I was holding her arm as we arrived inside the restaurant.

"Good evening sir, table for two please." I told the host.

"Do you have reservations?" The host asked me.

"Yes, and the name is under Hutchinson." I told the host.

"Ah, yes Hutchinson! You just arrived, follow me to your table." The host said as I let Izzy go first as I followed.

"Ladies first or just lady." I exclaimed as she giggled.

"Here is your lovely private table for you both." The host said as we saw two candles lit.

"Oh my goodness, this is beautiful." Izzy said as I pulled back her chair a little bit as she sat down, then I pulled it forward towards the table.

"Welcome to Amour, here are your menus." The waiter said as he gave us our menus.

"Thanks!" We both said to him.

"If there's anything I can get you two lovely couples, please? Let me know in advance." The waiter exclaimed.

"Yes, may we please have two cups of water to start with?' Izzy asked as the waiter came with two cups and a jug of water as he poured it inside our cups.

"Already done! Now, please take your time with ordering, and I'll be right back." The Waiter said as he then left.

After the waiter left, Izzy and I took a look at the good foods that were on the menu.

"Oh my God these foods on the menu are so delicious, I don't know which one to choose." Izzy said.

"How about we just order one plate together Izzy?" I offered.

"Okay! How about spaghetti andbolognese?' Izzy suggested.

"That sounds like a plan Izzy." I told her as the waiter came back.

"So did you like what you see on our menu?" The waiter asked us.

"Yes sir, my girlfriend and I would love to have the spaghetti with sauce but no jalapenos. My girlfriend is very allergic to jalapenos." I told the Waiter as he was writing our order on his notepad.

"Italian Spaghetti with sauce, along with Bolognese with no jalapenos!!" The Waiter wrote down what we ordered.

"Since I'm writing down your order, would you like to order any dessert at advance?" The waiter asked us.

"We can wait after our dinner. We don't want to spoil our food or get a stomach ache." Izzy told him.

"Good call! Okay, your dinner will be ready in about 10 minutes." The waiter told us as he took our menus away.

"Oh one more thing, do you have any coloring books That we can take home for our kids?" Izzy asked the waiter.

"I don't know, but I will have to talk with my manager first. and check if we have some." The waiter told her as he left but for real this time.

"So what do we do now?' Izzy asked.

"Well we can wait for our dinner Izz." I told her.

"Mr Hutchinson Ms Green, We added your order on one big plate. Enjoy your meal!" The Waiter said as we looked at it and licked our lips with our tons and started to eat it, along with the Bolognese

As we got down to the one and only spaghetti strand, we both slurped it together and we started to chuckle and kiss.

"I love you." We both said as we chuckled .

"Would any of you like dessert?" The waiter asked.

"May we please have two slices of chocolate cake?" Izzy asked as I chuckled.

"Coming right up!" The waiter said as he left to get our two slices of chocolate cake.

5 minutes later...

"Here are your two slices of chocolate cake, Ms. Green and Mr. Hutchinson." The Waiter said as he placed the plates on the table next to us as Izzy started to eat it.

"Mr Hutchinson, your girlfriend really loves chocolate cake." The Waiter told me as I nodded my head as he left.

"Okay, okay Izzy, the chocolate cake is done. You can stop eating." I told her.

"No, I still see chocolate cake on your plate." Izzy said as she was about to poke it with a fork, but I split it in half, for each of us.

"There, you have half, I have half." I told her as she ate half of my cake.

"That was good!" I said as I looked at Izzy's face.

"Hahaha hahaha, Izzy you got chocolate crumbs all over your face, and also chocolate icing." I said.

"So do you Jake hahaha." Izzy said as I took The napkin holder and looked at my face as she was right.

Before I started to pay the bill, I got up from my chair, walked over to Izzy, got down on one knee and grabbed a black box that was in my pocket.

"Jake? What are you doing?" Izzy asked me, looking scared.

"Okay, I know this is a little bit surprising for you right now since I can see it on your face that you're shocked but I want to do this." I started to say before I continued.

"Jake, are you asking me to marry you? Because isn't this a little bit too early for this?" Izzy exclaimed.

"What? No, I'm not asking you to marry me for the hundredth time. At least not yet until we're a little bit older and ready for that moment to come but in this box I hold, is a promise ring." I told her as I opened the box as it revealed a golden diamond promise ring.

"Isabella Rose Green, I promise with all my pirate Power that I will always be there for you and I hope we promised together that we will be there for each other forever. Promise me, no matter what happens to us in the near future you will always be more than roommates, crewmates, friends but a family. But most importantly, promise me you'll never leave me ever." I told her that she started to cry, as I placed the promise ring on her finger.

"Yes Jake yes I promise!" Izzy promised as we shared a passionate kiss.

Cubby's POV

As I was in the kitchen making chili and rice for my own romantic date with my lovely mermaid girlfriend Stormy, she was in the dining room reading a magazine. Once the chili and rice was done, I placed both of them into separate bowls and brought them over to the dining room table, one next to stormy, and one next to me, as I then lit two candles.

"Wow this has to be the mostbeautiful Valentine's Day Ever! Especially when I'm hanging out with my girlfriend on this romantic date." I told her as she was smiling at me.

"Cubby, you are so sweet and adorable." Stormy said as I smiled.

"Come on Stormy, you're the one that's sweet and adorable." I told her.

"Oh Cubby you're making me blush right now." Stormy said as she was using her hand as a fan.

Izzy's POV

Once Jake and I got home after paying for our meals, we didn't want to bother a little brother with his date so we went into the living room and started to watch romantic TV shows together to end beautiful date at the restaurant.
