Izzy's POV

As Cubby and I were getting Jake's birthday breakfast ready, I was putting balloons on each side of the chair that had the number 16 on them.

"Cubby is Jake's special birthday pancakes ready?" I asked as he placed them on the plate.

"Yep, I just finished making them," Cubby exclaimed as we saw Jake walking into the dining room.

"Happy birthday Jake!" We both said as he saw there were pancakes on the table.

"Wow, this is amazing, thanks, Mates!" Jake thanked us as we all sat down and enjoyed our pancakes.

"So, any plans for my special day?" Jake asked as Cubby and I were still eating our pancakes

"Uh, well, we got you a birthday present," I said while Cubby and I handed him the two gifts.

Jake's POV

As I opened the two gifts that Izzy and Cubby got me, it was a new iPad and Casetify phone case with all of our pictures on it.

"Thanks, guys, these are the best gifts ever. I told them as I got out my phone and placed the new case on it.

"You're welcome, Jake!" Izzy said as she and Cubby hugged me.

"Anyway, back to what I was asking. Is there anything planned for my 16th birthday?" I exclaimed, hoping to get at least one answer from either of them.

"Well, we are planning on having a... ow!" I almost heard Cubby say as I saw him rubbing his foot.

Cubby's POV

As I looked at Izzy with a mad face who just whistled, I just got up and went to clean my plate."

Izzy's POV

As I went to go clean my plate I looked at Cubby with a mad look on my face.

"Cubby, what is the matter with you? You almost gave away Jake's surprise party to him." I whispered to him while washing my plate.

"I'm sorry okay. I won't say a word about Jake's party." Cubby told me as I hope he was telling the truth, and not lying to me.

"Cubby, I hope you're telling the truth, and not going behind my back telling Jake about his surprise party!" I exclaimed.

"No, I am not. And besides, Jake is going to be surprised when he sees his party." Cubby told me as I smiled.

Jake's POV

"Hey, let's make more pancakes, as a family!" Jake suggested as we smiled and agreed.

So, as we were all making more pancakes, Izzy and Cubby weren't flipping their pancakes high enough.

"You guys aren't flipping your pancakes high enough," I told them as I showed them how to flip. But once I poured the pancake mixer into the pan and was about to flip it landed on the ceiling.

"Aww, coconutty.!" Baby Jay said with sad eyes.

"Don't worry baby Jay your father will get the pancake down," I told him as I stood up on the table while holding a broom in my hands.

"Be careful Jake!" Izzy exclaimed.

"Yeah don't die on your birthday.'" Cubby said which Izzy slapped him on the back of his head.

As I finally got the pancake down with the broom it landed back on the pan.

Izzy"s POV

As I was setting up the foods and drinks on the food table Peter was decorating Pirate island for his birthday party, while Cubby was inside distracting Jake by having pancakes.

Cubby's POV

As Jake and I were in the kitchen we were decorating pancakes, to keep him distracted.

"So, remind me again why are we decorating pancakes?" Jake asked.

"Oh uh, um well, it's pancake day. also, Izzy is upset, and she needs time alone to herself.

"Huh?" Jake said as he was confused while scratching the back of his head.

"I am going to go see for myself Cubby!" Jake said as I panicked, then tackled him to the ground.

"What in Neverland? Cubby please get off me, I need to see if Izzy is alright."

"Jake, she's fine, let her be alone!" I told him.

"She is my girlfriend, and I need to make sure she's okay. Now, get off!" Jake said as he pushed me off him but I tacked him again.

"Jake I'm sure she's fine, lets go eat some pancakes!" I told him as I helped him up, and dragged the teen into the kitchen.

"But Izzy.." Jake whined as I ignored him.

"Jake, she is fine," I exclaimed.

Izzy's POV

Hey, boyfriend can we have our alone time?" I asked as Cubby pushed him towards me.

"Oh, Jake would love to, besides I need to um do something gin the kitchen.' Cubby told us as he gave me a wink as I smiled.

"Why did Cubby, give you a wink?" Jake asked as I came up with an excuse.

"Oh well, he is making a cake for Stormy." I lied.

"Oh. Wait but stormy's birthday isn't till August. Why is he making her cake now?" Jake exclaimed.

"Why not make it a little early," I told him, as we went upstairs to the bedroom.

"First of all happy birthday, Jakey!" I said to him.

"Uh, thank you again, Iz.

"So, let's have a pancake day date, Jake," I suggested as I took him to the dining room downstairs and we had our pancake day date together.

"I wonder what Cubby is up to in the kitchen." Jake wondered as I fed him pancakes.

"Izzy? Jake called me.

"Leave Cubby alone, he's fine in the kitchen," I said.

As Jake swallowed his pancakes, I fed him more.

"Iz, I am happy that you're feeding me pancakes, but I can feed myself." Jake reminded me as I blushed.

"Hey, listen Jake I was wondering, if we should try having sex, after my 16th birthday," I told him.

"Okay, we can try that," Jake said as I was surprised.

"Great, but remember to wear a condom." I reminded my boyfriend.

"Sure, thing girlfriend!" Jake exclaimed.

Cubby's POV

As I was baking Jake's birthday cake, Izzy was in the dining room with the birthday teenager. So, I had to make sure Jake doesn't see the cake.

"Alright, the cake is almost done baking, I just need to make the icing.

2 minutes later

After the icing was made and the cake was out of the oven, I waited till the cake cooled down so I can put the icing on it.

After the cake has cooled down a bit, I started to ice it with blue icing then once it was all covered with icing, I placed the number 16 on top. As the cake was finally done, I covered it up for later.

As the cake was in the fridge, for now, I went to go see how Izzy was doing with stalling Jake.

Once I went into the living room, I saw Jake watching TV. So, I went outside to check on how Peter is doing and by the looks of it, Jake's party looks amazing. As I looked to my right, I could see Peter setting up his DJ equipment.

Izzy's POV

It was now nighttime, and it was also time to take Jake to his surprise birthday party. So, I turned off the TV and pulled down his red bandana.

"Hey, who turned out the lights I can't see anything?" Jake asked.

"Oh, we're just going out, on another date." I lied once more.

"Wait a minute, Izzy what's going on?" Jake exclaimed.

"You will see Jake, just Longax and don't peek," I told my boyfriend.

"Are you surprised me with more kids to adopt?" Jae asked as Started to hesitate to answer it. Started to hesitate to answer it

"Yeah, I am surprising you with that." I lied.

"Why do I smell food?" Jake asked again.

"Why do you keep asking so many questions?" I exclaimed as we made it outside

"Okay Jake, you can uncover your eyes now.!" I told him as he put his bandana back on his forehead.

"Surprise Happy birthday Jake!" Everyone said as we cheered.

"Oh my God, this is incredible I don't know what to say." Jake was now speechless.

"I guess we should get this party started!" Jak announced as Peter was DJing, as the party got started.

As everyone got onto the dance floor, Jake and I were dancing together while party songs were being played by DJ Peter.

"So, Jake are you enjoying your party?" I asked.

"Yeah, you guys did a great job with not telling me about it," Jake told me.

"Well, Cubby almost did, but I kicked his foot!" I said.

"Ugh, when is Cubby ever going to learn?" Jake wondered as we laughed.

"Happy birthday Jake!" I said as we kissed.

"Hey, I'm going to go get something to drink. Do you want anything?" Jake asked.

"Yes, please!" I told him as he went to go get us some fruit punch.

Jake's POV

"Hey, birthday again, Jake! Enjoying your party?" Cubby exclaimed.

"You bet I am! Thanks, Cubby." I thanked him.

"Hey you should thank Peter, he's the one who decorated Pirate Island for your 16th birthday party." Cubby suggested.

"I'll make sure I thank him. But I got to get one of these drinks to Izzy." I told him as I took the two cups of fruit punch and went back to Izzy.

As I arrived back at Izzy with our drinks, I noticed they were now empty

"Did you get there to see on the way here, Jake?" Izzy asked while laughing.

"No, there were a lot of people dancing so they accidentally bumped into me too many times" I explained.

"Well, I am going to get my drink then sweetie," Izzy told me after kissing me on the cheek then left.

Cubby's POV

As I went into the kitchen opened the fridge and got out Jake's cake, I made sure nothing was wrong with it.

"Phew, it's okay!" I told myself as I then went back outside with the cake.

Once I went outside, everyone was still dancing So, I paced the cake in the middle of the table and back on the dance floor to dance with Stormy.

"May I have everyone's attention, please? It's time for Jake to blow out his candles!" I announced as Jake immediately ran to the cake.

"Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday dear Jake! Happy birthday to you!" We all sang minus Jake who blew out his candles.

"Yay, I'm now 16 years old!" Jake said with glee.

"And I am so happy for you Jake!" Izzy exclaimed as she kissed him on the lips.

"Jake, you should get the first slice of your cake!" I suggested as Peter started to cut Jake's cake into triangles and placed them on paper plates as we all took one.

"This has to be the best birthday ever!" Jake exclaimed with excitement.

As we were all enjoying our pieces of Jake's birthday cake, Jake and Izzy were feeding each other.

"Jake, are you enjoying the cake I baked you?" I asked my big brother.

"So, this cake, was for me and not stormy?" Jake asked as I was confused.

"Why would the cake be for Stormy?" I wondered as I looked at Izzy who whistled again.

"Okay, I might have told Jake that you were making the cake for Stormy!" Izzy told me.

"Izzy, you know Stormy's birthday isn't till August." I reminded her.

"I know, but Jake wanted to know what you were doing in the kitchen so I made up a lie!" Izzy said.

"Oh, that makes sense!" I exclaimed.
