"Oh God"

That was not what he wanted to hear. Not with shots fired. But that was exactly what Bruce hissed behind him. He turned in time to see Alex writhing on the floor. Her muscles bubbled up and down. Green one second, then back to flesh the next.

The dog he'd shot was trying to drag itself back to its feet, snarl rising several panicked pitches.

"Shit! What did you do?" Clint snapped.

"I didn't do anything!"

"Does that look like nothing, Doc?"

As he spoke, Alex's fingers stretched, nails darkening into thick black claws. Her face pushed out into a pointed muzzle, ears pulling to the top of her skull. Green fur bristled over every inch of exposed skin. It tore through the shredded suit as she doubled in size. A dark pine colored tail whipped back and forth behind her. Once flat canines lengthened into snaggle teeth, staining her jaws with a dribble of blood. Where the bullet had gone through only moments before, was the smooth white fur of her belly.

Before he blink Alex was replaced by a massive green werewolf-like creature. It loomed in front of them, panting from the effort of the change. It's muzzle crinkled with a low, throaty growl that made Clint's heart drop to the pit of his stomach.

Stay calm. No sudden movements. But this was so far out of his league he didn't know what to do. His heart was pounding against the back of his throat.

He lowered his gun, raising his free hand with the palm open, and swallowed. "Alex?"

Lime green eyes snapped to him. He held his breath, acutely aware of Bruce edging away from him.

For a painfully long moment, nobody moved.

Then her clawed fingers twitched apart, lips pulling back to show her teeth. She launched forward with a snarl tearing from her throat. Clint flinched back just in time for her claws to scrape the floor where he'd been. He dove over the desk, pulling the terrified receptionist out of the way of snapping jaws.

"Go, go, go!" he urged, practically shoving her around the corner.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

No! "Hold your fire!"

He stared in utter helpless horror as she dove onto Parker and snapped her teeth over his neck. His eyes went wide and his fingers dug at her jaws. A scream gurgled from his throat. Almost immediately, blood started pouring from her own neck. The wolf flinched back, clawing at the fur of her scruff.

"Back up!" Clint shouted, waving at the other men to give her some space.

They scattered back, Sanchez dragging Parker across the floor. Barney and his dog darted for a side door and Clint ran after them.

"Bruce, this would be a really good time to go green."

"I can't."

He ran into the door just as it slammed shut. Shit! "What?! What do you mean you can't?"

"He's not cooperating," Bruce panted.

Clint slammed his shoulder into the door. It shuddered, but didn't budge. "Well, make him cooperate!"

He pulled back for another try, flinching at the scrabble of claws on the marble floor and... Snap! Jaws clicked closed just in front of his face. A split second of confusion bled into the rage before the Hulk dragged her backwards.

"Bad dog!" Hulk shouted, swinging her into the floor by one leg.

Shards of marble exploded in all directions as he flung back up, slamming the hulk-wolf over and over. On the fourth hit, she spun around, twisting back on herself and latched her jaws onto one of his biceps.

The Hulk roared, letting go of her leg to yank on the scruff of her neck. Chomp, chomp, chomp, her teeth gnawed at his arm, both feet planting solidly against the floor. With one big shove, they toppled to the ground.

Hulk rolled over, crushing her under him, but she held on.

"Stupid…" He reared back, slamming down on her. "Stupid…" Wham! Another slam. "Dog!"

There was the crack of the floor underneath her skull. A yelp. She pushed the Hulk off with all four feet. He hit the ground on one knee and Clint ducked out of the way when the monster of a man literally tore the desk off the floor and smashed it into the wolf.

She took the desk head on and dropped.

Hulk stopped, breathing heavy and Clint inched forward, a wary eye on the green giant.

"Easy Big Guy. The sun's getting real low."
