Disclaimer: I do not own anything but Jayden Shan.
Ahsoka sat at her Master's bedside, looking at him. He was wrapped up in badages, his arm needing a new prosthetic after what happened to it. Ahsoka clenched her fists as she remembered the fight, the way Darth khan brutally beat up her Master and the way he shrugged off whatever Anakin threw at him. The anger she felt was similar to the anger she felt when she was informed of Korkie and his friends' deaths at the hands of Darth Khan. He had changed since their past encounter, got a new look, a name she now knows... and she wanted to make him pay for what he's done, for all the lives he's no doubt taken.
She heard the door open and looked to see Obi-Wan enter. "How is he?" The Jedi master asked.
"Still knocked out. But Master Nema tells me his body is doing alright." She replied.
"Well, I suppose that's good news. And how are you doing?" He wondered, walking over and gently laying a hand on Ahsoka's shoulder. The Padawan sighed, turning back to Anakin's body.
"I've never seen this happen to him, Master. He's always been so... invincible. Like nobody could ever touch him. He was the best of the best and... now... well..." Ahsoka sighed again. "I've never seen him scream like that when Khan blasted him with Force lightning. I never thought there would be a day where we'd have to carry him away like we did..."
"We will all get through this." Obi-Wan comforted her. "Anakin will survive, Ahsoka. This may be his hardest challenge yet, but I know he'll pull through."
"What's going to happen know?" Ahsoka asked, trying to change the subject.
"The Chancellor has made Darth Khan a top priority to either capture or kill. he's just below Dooku on the list. We capture him, we could be somewhat closer to the end of this war due to whatever secrets Dooku has shared with him." Obi-Wan explained. "The Jedi Council are worried about Khan's strength and power, as well as the appearance striking a few cords."
"What do you mean?" Ahsoka asked with a frown.
"Ahsoka, have you ever heard the stories of Darth revan?" Obi-Wan asked seriously.
"Yes, a few of them actually." Ahsoka nodded.
"As you know, he was once a Jedi, a great and powerful Jedi that showed potential." Obi-Wan said with a sigh. He doubted there was a single Jedi who had NOT heard the story of Revan. "He was a vocal and charismatic critic of the Order's inactivity in the ongoing Mandalorian Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Mandalorian warrior clans at the time. He even had a group called the Revanchist that he led into battle against the Council's wishes. He donned the mask of a fallen Mandalorin warrior, the very mask that Khan wore. Sometime later, Revan and his friend, Malak, who went on to become Darth Malak and Revan's Apprentice when he became a Sith, fell to the Dark Side and established their own Sith Empire. It was this that led to Revan meeting a jedi named Bastila Shan, who he formed a Force bond with."
"i heard of the story between those two." Ahsoka said. "Wasn't there something between them? Romantic?"
Obi-Wan nodded. "Yes. Eventually, Revan was captured, his mind wiped of his memories as a Sith, and he was a Republic soldier afterwards. However, when Malak attacked the Spire above the planet Taris in a failed attempt to capture Bastila, Revan joined forces with the Republic officer Carth Onasi and a number of other individuals on Taris to locate Bastila and escape the world before Malak destroyed the planet's surface. Revan and his friends traveled to the planet Dantooine's Jedi Enclave, where he was retrained as a Jedi Padawan. I assume you know of Revan's journey to fidn the Star Forge?"
Ahsoka nodded. "Revan's tale is... something I don't think any Jedi wants to remember but they can't forget it. Some even say he never fell, that he simply mastered the Light and the Dark Side, and saw true balance with both."
"It's hard to know what went through Revan's mind at the time." Obi-Wan sighed. "It was thousands of years ago after all. The fact that a Sith today wears Revan's armour, Revan's mask, and even has a red and purple Lightsaber like he did... it makes the Council wary that Khan might be a descendent of Revan. Something I agree with considering..."
"Considering what?" Ahsoka asked with a frown.
"Years ago, the Jedi sensed a child strong with the Force and sent several Jedi to speak with the child's parents and inform them that the child had to be taken to be trained in the Jedi Temple." Obi-Wan explained. "I was still a Padawan under Master Qui-Gon Jinn at the time, before I met Anakin. However, only one Jedi retuned, badly injured but his tale... it terrified some of the Council. He said that when they got there, they found the parents dead, the child missing... and a red-skinned Zabrack male with a red Lightsaber looking for something, most likely the child. I didn't know until I was promoted to Jedi Master and learned of what happened, and I knew who that Zabrack was... Darth Maul."
Ahsoka's eyes widened. "The Sith Assassin you killed on Naboo?"
Obi-Wan nodded. "I could think of no other that fit the description given. The child was gone, and the Jedi moved on. But it seems the child lived and was found by Dooku who trained him. the thing that connects this to Revan, is the child's parents had the last name of Shan. They hid themselves well but they could no control their child's Force signature from being noticed at his age."
"So, the Council believes Khan is Revan's descendant." Ahsoka stated more than asked but Obi-Wan nodded.
"Yes. Which means he has the same potential as Revan did, and considering his ancestors are Revan, Bastila and Satele Shan, the Council have a right to be worried." Obi-Wan said seriously. "The Council and the Chancellor want to try and apprehend Khan first, to lock him away so he'd never be a threat again and if that fails... we have to kill him."
"I'm coming." Ahsoka said firmly. "I'm doing this on Anakin's behalf. He'd want in on this."
Obi-Wan nodded with a sigh as he looked at his old friend's form. "I know..."
On a Republic cruiser
Ship alarms blared as the ship rocked from the assault done on it by the Separatists. Clones scrambled to make it to the escape pods in the hopes of escaping down to the planet of Gwori below. Several Clone Troopers were trying to pusha door open.
"Door's jammed!" A Clone shouted.
"Dammit!" Another shouted before the lights went out.
"What the-?!" A Clone said.
"Flashlights!" The commander ordered and the Clones turned on their helments flashlights and looked down the hallway they were in, hearing footsteps before all went silent.
Then a red Lightsaber activated, illuminating the intimidating form of Darth Khan in the hallway.
"Open fire!" The Clone commander shouted.
The clones opened fire on the Sith, who easily deflected their shots back at several of them, killing them as the ones at the door shouted for help. Khan strode fourth, not halting at all as he used the Force to send a clone up into the ceiling, clenching his fist to choke the clone while continuing to block and deflect blaster files. Passing under the clone he was holding up with the Force, Jayden slashed him without even looking and dropping him before he used the Force to choke three more and crushed their throats altogether.
The clones at the door fired with fear in their eyes as Jayden easily blocked them before he swung his Lightsaber and decapitated them, then used the Force to open the jammed door and continued on his way, slaughtering clone after clone whenever they got in his way.
"Mediocre." He couldn't help but mutter to himself as he continued to slaughter his way through the ship and take it down.
Gwori was a planet located in the Clacis sector of the Outer Rim Territories. It was home to Gwori Revolutionary Industries and was the site of one of the CIS's biggest shipyards.
Upon arriving on Gwori, Jayden was immediately met by the factory's overseer: a Muun known as Juhm. Having been informed of Jayden's coming beforehand by Count Dooku, the overseer was slightly flustered by the sudden visit. With only a mere hour before the Sith Lord's arrival, Juhm had no idea how to prepare or even what to prepare for his visit. The Muun stood alone on a landing pad as Jayden disembarked from the Rogue Shadow.
"Welcome to Gwori, Lord Khan!" The overseer eagerly greeted him, hoping to make a good impression on the fearsome warrior. "Your arrival was most unexpected, however, I will do whatever I can to ensure you are comfortable here. Um, do tell me, why exactly are you here?"
"You may dispense with the pleasantries, overseer." Jayden said as he walked on with juhm following beside him. "I'm here to sort out a little leak."
"A-A little leak, my Lord?" Juhm asked, a little confused at the wording.
"Yes. It appears there is a mole that has infiltrated your shipyards and is leaking information to the Republic."
"A mole? Here?! Impossible!"
"Not for the Republic. It wouldn't be the first time they've attempted such." Jayden said, having heard of some undercover missions the Republic has done in the past during the war. "Not to worry, once I find the one who is the mole... they will be dealt with swiftly."
W-What shall I do?" The Muun wondered.
"Go and gather all your chief overseers, top scientists, everyone of great value." Jayden ordered. "i will personally see which one of them is the mole."
"It shall be done immediately!" Juhm quickly replied, making to sprint off and ensure everything was done according to Jayden's plan.
A few hours later
The sound of bones cracking was heard as a human male fell to his knees before falling onto his back, dead from having his throat clutched. Jayden walked over his corpse. The reveal of the mole had been easy in Jayden's opinion, having sensed danger coming from the one who looked ready to jump out a window and he instantly knew that one was the mole. the man tried to blast him but got Force choked to death for his actions.
Juhm watched over his shoulder with a level of fear and surprise as he took note of the identity of the body.
"Overseer Kal? I... I had no idea..." He whispered in awe, surprised to discover a fellow overseer was really a spy for the Republic.
"Keep watch on the monitors and security. I have no doubt he'll have called for help upon learning of my arrival. The Republic will send Jedi and clones in response." Jayden said as he walked away.
In Hyperspace
"You ready for this, Ahsoka?" Asked a human male around Ahsoka's age with dark brown hair and green eyes. His name was Tyleibr Poyfen, Jedi Padawan to Jedi Master Abigeva Burugl, another human Jedi. Tyleibr was a boy Ahsoka grew up beside, trained with, so the two knew each other. The other Jedi that were accompanying them were the Twi'lek Jedi Master Ausuk'mohar, and her Padawan, Katdia Bocpett, a human girl.
Ahsoka was with them on behalf of Obi-Wan to see this through, plus Ahsoka wanted to get her shots in on Khan before they captured him... or killed him, but their mission was to capture him and lock him away where nobody will ever find him and he can never be a threat to the Republic and the galaxy again.
These Jedi, along with a battalion of clones, were sent to Gwori to take down Darth Khan who had been confirmed and reported to be on the planet thanks to the mole they had on the shipyard.
"yeah. Born ready." Ahsoka said with a smirk.
"Be mindful, young Padawans." Abigeva warned softly with her hands on her hips as she looked at the two. "A Sith is not to be easily underestimated no matter the numbers."
"Yes Master." Tyleibr said sheepishly.
Ausuk'mohar then announced. "We're coming up on Gwori."
The ship exited Hyperspace and they saw the planet they were coming to. As Ahsoka looked at it, Katdia walked up to stand next to her.
"I'm sorry for what happened to Master Skywalker." Katdia said with an apologetic look that Ahsoka gave a small grateful smile for. Katdia was another friend Ahsoka made during her youngling days. "We'll make that Sith scum pay for what he did."
The specialized stealth shuttle, piloted by Master's Ausuk'mohar and Abigeva, managed to infiltrate Gwori's system without raising any alarms. It had been predetermined that the party would land as close as possible to the shipyards without arousing suspicion. Fortune seemed to play in their favor as the sun was setting by the time they arrived, granting the cover of nightfall to aid in their infiltration. The group of Jedi and Clones managed to sneak inside the facility without being detected, eliminating several droid security teams to maintain their secrecy. Ahsoka quickly memorized the route they took, planning on retracing her steps at the first sign of disaster. They entered through a maintenance wing via a corridor that provided access to the southern server room and the command hub through a central chamber. Other maze-like corridors lead to smaller rooms were various levels of production were overseen. The shipyards were so massive, multiple different head offices were required in order to keep the chain of command present in each area of the facility.
The group huddled together as they planned their trap, a holomap produced by Tyleibr floating before them.
"It appears we've managed to strike at a most fortuitous time. The populace is minimal and so are the security teams." Abigeva noted.
"Then that will provide us with enough time to assume our positions." Ausuk'mohar agreed. "Padawan Tano, how shall we proceed?"
"We need to gain Khan's attention. No doubt he already knows we're either coming... or he knows we're already here and is waiting for us to come to him. But I think I have an idea." Ahsoka highlighted the central security hub for the south wing of the facility. "If I can hack into the security hub, I can shut down any defenses and keep an eye on the whole area while you all wait for Khan."
"Always good to have a someone looking out for us." Katdia agreed.
"Then it would be best of us to split into teams." Ausuk'mohar added. "Each pair takes a good squad of clones with them. remember, if you see Khan, do NOT engage him alone. Work together. We want to make him unable to fight us all, not let him get the advantage."
"They're here." Jayden said as he opened his eyes, standing in the central surveillance hub of the shipyards with Juhm. He had sensed something and carefully spread his senses to detect it, and imagine his delight when he found out it was the Jedi. One of which he recognised as Ahsoka, but the others he did not care to know for they were going to die anyway.
"What?!" Juhm said in shock. "But how did they-?!"
"Most likely a specialised shuttle that bypasses alarm systems and can be undetected." Jayden stated. "I will deal with them myself."
With that, he turned and walked away.
The halls were barren and empty, the only sound to the fill them was the clicking of Wraith's armoured boots against the metal floors. Alone with his thoughts, Jayden thought nothing else apart from calculations and strategies. He mapped out in his mind the corridors and halls of the south wing, plotting every possible route the Clones could take to avoid him or escape them.
How they entered as of no concern to Jayden. None of them would be leaving here anyway.
The access corridor to the south wing was just a few meters ahead now. Jayden readied himself for the coming battle, prepared to handle who knows how many Clones the Republic had sent to aid their mole.
Opening the doorway, Jayden was met with the sight of a long corridor, brightly lit white walls...
and a group of Clone troopers with their weapons pointed in his direction.
"Hold it right there, Khan!" A Clone with red-marked armor commanded him. "By order of the Galactic Republic, stand down and come with us!"
'I see. So the Jedi and the Clones aren't here for the shipyards or control of this planet... they' re here for me.' Jayden thought. No doubt this was a response to what happened between him and Skywalker on Tibrin.
Jayden said nothing as he gripped both his Lightsabers and activated them, the red and purple blades humming. "You just pointed those guns at the wrong guy. I already slaughtered Clones on a cruiser, want to join your brothers?"
"Take him down!" the Clone commander shouted and the nine Clones fired.
Jayden deflected their shots easily and leaped out of the firing range, Saber throwing his red Lightsaber into the head of one of the Clones and used the Force to call it back to his hand as he landed on the ground and continued to deflect.
Jayden mentally sued the Force to throw anything at the Clones, knocking them out of their positions and halting their gunfire long enough for Jayden to stride forward and start the slaughtering. He showed no mercy as he cut down any Clone in his path until eventually none were left standing All that was left was him standing above nine corpses.
Jayden heard Lightsabers activating and looked to see a female pink-skinned Twi'lek and a human girl running at him with green Lightsabers in their hands. Jayden smirked as he got into a fighting stance and then charged, easily parrying their attacks and continued to remain on the defensive until they entered a Saber lock.
"Surrender, Sith!" The Twi'lek ordered.
"There is no escape for you!" the human girl added.
Jayden looked between them. "So you think."
He spun and used the Force to knock the Padawan back and focused on the Master. The two started to battle, jayden blocking her attacks then he went on the offensive, just striking with the red Lightsaber until he swung the purple but she must've had great flexibility for she leaned back enough to probably crack her spine.
'Huh, I can see why Twi'lek females are mostly used as sex slaves and dancers with how flexible they can be.' Jayden thought to himself. Getting serious, he went on the offesnive as he attacked the Jedi master, who did her best to block two sabers when her Padawan jumped in, causing jayden to lean back and avoid her attack but he used the Force to halt her then jumped over her as her Master tried a stabbing attempt from behind...
And stabbed her own padawan in the process.
"Katdia!" the Jedi gasped in horror and shock before she looked up in time to see a red Lightsaber swing at her neck and she was decapitated.
"Not bad." Jayden said as he watched the two bodies fall to the floor, joining the Clones he slaughtered. "But not enough."
He walked off to find the rest.
Ahsoka stared with wide eyes at what she had been watching. the Clones couldn't stop Khan, Master Ausuk'mohar and Katdia couldn't stop him. Ahsoka closed her eyes when seeing Jayden fool Ausuk'mohar into stabbing Katdia before decapitating her and walking off.
Ahsoka slumped against the chair she was seated in, still staring at the screen before with a blank expression of shock. Those Clones and Jedi had been alive and breathing just moments ago, she had just spoken and conversed with them mere minutes prior. And now they had all been killed.
Ahsoka was quick to inform Tyleibr and Abigeva of where Khan was and what he had done... and the fact he was heading in their direction.
The two Jedi couldn't believe it when Jayden appeared after opening a door, bodies seen in the distance behind him. Jayden strode forward and stared at his prey.
"is this the best the Jedi can do?" Jayden asked with a scoff.
With a roar, Tyleibr charged despite his master shouting for him not to. jayden just unleashed Force lightning in the boy, sending him crashing against the wall and now the Sith faced the Master.
"Surrender and I may spare your life." Jayden demanded before he unleashed Force lightning but the woman blocked it with her blue Lightsaber.
"I don't think so." She growled as she glared at him. Jayden merely tilted his head and activated his red Lightsaber before assuming a stance as did the Jedi master. The woman charged at Jayden before she leaped and tried a slash that Jayden deflected, then easily block her next attacks with just one hand holding his Lightsaber before he ducked underneath a swing and lightly scraped her knee with his Lightsaber, causing her to yell in pain and she clutched her knee.
Jayden then just Force choked the Jedi Master and brought her close, the grip on her neck so tight she couldn't try swinging her Lightsaber. Jayden stared at her before he swung his Lightsaber and cut her in half.
"NO!" He heard the boy yell in pain and anger.
Jayden tuned and blocked the boy's strike and noticed anger had taken over the boy as he continued to slash and hack with angry, sloppy attacks that Jayden didn't take serious as he easily could deal with the boy and that's what he did. He parried the boy's next attack then punched him across the face, sending him to the floor. Jayden placed his foot on the boy's chest and crouched down, using the Force to take the boy's Lightsaber.
"That anger, the rage... you feel it don't you? The anger and rage at losing one you love, at losing someone you see as a parent? I guess you Jedi don't know the meaning of the word, but you padawans sometimes form bonds with your Masters, enough to see them as parents, especially if your Master's a woman because of maternal instinct." Jayden said as he looked over the boy's Lightsaber. "I know what that feels like... to watch your parents die and feel like you couldn't do anything to save them. But don't worry, you'll be reunited with her soon. And after that.., I will deal with Ahsoka Tano."
"L-Leave her alone!" the boy yelled at him and Jayden raised an eyebrow as he sensed anger at jayden;s words and fear for Ahsoka as well as... oh, well isn't that something? Seems like this boy had a crush.
And it made Jayden angry for some reason.
Jayden stood, activated his Lightsaber and brought it down with no mercy shown.
Ahsoka couldn't beliebe it but she watched it all happen.
Everyone, Jedi and Clone, had been killed by Jayden who showed no mercy, not a single shred of remorse of mercy in his killing He just killed and moved onto the next like some unstoppable killing machine. But she knew who was his next target, who he was coming for next.
Her.
There was no one to help her take down Khan, no one to aid her if she ran into trouble, no one to turn to if she felt scared.
But Darth Khan was still here. Still lurking in the shadows of hallways, creeping around the base and just waiting to pounce upon her. She had to get out of here, she needed to head back to Coruscant and tell her Masters about what had happened. The longer she stayed here, frozen in place, the sooner Khan would find her... and who knows what he might do to her.
She needed to leave. Now.
Ahsoka bolted for the door, not caring about anything else apart from her survival. She sprinted down the hall and into the central room, not pausing to look at the bodies Khan left. Retracing her steps, Ahsoka quickly followed the route the group had taken to get in here, hoping to make it back to the shuttle without getting detected. The took the first left and entered a short corridor that lead to a hallway. A long one, that led directly to the outside. Escape was not far away...
That's when the lights went out.
Ahsoka slid to a halt and instinctively reached for her lightsabers, expecting someone to ambush her in the now blackened corridor. Her thoughts drifted to monster she was alone with. If she couldn't make it back to the shuttle, she would face a very grim fate indeed.
She shuddered as she imagined getting torn apart, like Master Bast had been.
The lights suddenly switched back on, illuminating the hall. Ahsoka could see her exit not far away, just down the hall. Looking behind her, Ahsoka felt a chill shoot up through her spine as she saw someone else in the corridor with her, at the opposite end.
It was Khan.
He stood as still as a statue, watching her movements closely. His mask's HUD showed her heartbeat and pule had increased.
She was afraid of him.
His eyes drunk in her lithe form, memorizing every curve and feature. Her orange skin, her striped montrals, her bright blue eyes that radiated fear... a very fine form indeed. She was the only member of this raiding party left. The last of those sent to apprehend him.
Jayden activated his red Lightsaber and slowly began walking towards her. "You have two choices, Ahsoka. You can surrender... or die like the rest of the squad the Jedi foolishly sent to take me out."
Without a second thought, Ahsoka turned and bolted towards the exit, fear driving her to escape and escape now! Seeing this, jayden ran after her in a fierce sprint, using the Force to sprint after her as she was using the Force to run away from him. Ahsoka used the Force to throw anything she could in Khan;s path, hoping to stop him, but Jayden easily leaped over it as he got closer so Ahsoka just ran. Thinking quickly, Ahsoka reached out with the Force and triggered the nearest door control. Jayden was almost directly behind her, Ahsoka could practically feel his breathing. Hopefully a narrow escape would cut him off, and one of these doors was bound to do the trick. A pair of doors a few feet in front of her started to close and Ahsoka sprinted with everything she had. With the Force fuelling her stamina, , Ahsoka charged forward and lept through the narrow opening just before the doors closed behind her.
Jayden rammed into the doors hard and grunted in pain before he backed off and looked the door over, raised his Lightsaber and drove it through as he started to cut a hole through it.
On the other side, Ahsoka saw the Lightsaber starting to make a hole and quickly ran.
Ahsoka made it to the shuttle that had brought her and the others here and had just began starting take off when the doors exploded open and out came Darth Khan in his terrifying gory. Ahsoka quickly flew the ship away before he could try anything.
Jayden stared from where he stood and deactivated his Lightsaber. He stared for several more seconds before turning and walking back inside...
And that's it for this chapter everyone. I hope you all enjoyed it.
