After getting the ship airborne, Jayden spent a bit of time navigating through the sky of this 'Mortis' planet, ready to leave the atmosphere. However, his mind was still clouded by his meeting with Bastila then Revan, their words ringing through his mind. Was Revan right when he said only fools embrace just the dark or the light? Can one really achieve true balance by embracing both?

Revan did it, sure, but Jayden had been taught in the ways of the Dark Side from a young age and came to believe that it's grip was too strong to break.

Jayden sighed and set the ship for autopilot as he took his mask off and laid back to sleep.

But unfortunately, it wasn't dreamless.

Two large fleets of ships and battlecruisers are amassing above a planet, clearly enemies.

They're all in the middle of a tremendous battle, turbolasers firing between the ships and starfighters challenging each other in dogfights. Without any warning, a sudden flash bursts outwards from the planet and a massive explosion takes place, destroying many ships and obliterating the planet.

Darth Revan and another Sith Lord were leading campaigns against Republic forces...

Jayden snapped awake with wide eyes and look around, breathing heavily before he looked, expecting to see his ship in space... but his ship had landed! Back on the planet!

"Oh come on!" Jayden threw his hands up and stood. "Why the hell am I here again?"

"Because the Son has taken Ahsoka." He heard a familiar female voice and looked to see Bastila appear before him. "if you care for her as you do, then you will save her. That is why I brought your ship back to Mortis."

Jayden put his mask on and left the ship, having froze at the 'Son took Ahsoka' part and all he cared about was rescuing her from whatever that thing had in store for her.

"There is more to you and Ahsoka's connection than you know." He heard the voice of Revan and looked to see the former Sith Lord leaning against the ship, his arms crossed. "Use that connection through the Force to find her."

Jayden frowned, wondering what he meant, but he closed his eyes and used the Force as revan said. He felt something... something new and yet familiar. It was like some kind of line, or rope, connecting him to...

"Ahsoka!" Jayden said then ran off, following the direction he could feel her in.

Revan watched him go with a small smirk as Bastila soon joined him. "Has he relized the bond he shares with her?" She asked.

"He's beginning to." Revan said with a hint of pride as he wrapped an arm around his wife's waist. "He is our descendant after all."

The Father and the Daughter sat in quiet, peaceful meditation on their podium within the cavernous Mortis Monastery. Three large statues stood behind the podium, each a construct of the families respective sides of the Force. On either side were two statues, one that represents the Daughter's griffin form and therefore the light side of the Force, while the other represented the Son's gargoyle form, and therefore the dark side. In the middle was a smaller, more intricate statue with carvings that represented balance in the Force, sporting an ancient language and two symbols representing the light side and the dark side.

Along with those statues, there were also two wispy, diamond shaped forms connected to the Daughter and Son's statues, being much smaller than the statues themselves. They were near twins of each other, symbolizing the forms of two lesser spirits who also represented the light and dark. As the Father and the Daughter continued their meditation in their respective positions on the podium, the Father senses the return of his son, and opens his eyes.

"You are growing stronger, my son," he speaks, voice echoing with wisdom and power.

"Am I, father?" the Son replies carelessly.

He shrugs in dismissal at the calm form of his father and turns around, raising a hand to his chin and gazing at his statue with a smirk on his face.

"Vanity, however, is getting the better of you," the Father adds.

The Son frowns, but turns around and maintains a look of innocent confusion.

"How so?" he questions.

"You have done what is forbidden," he replies, rising from his position.

The Daughter gets up upon sensing the tension from her brother, but the Father gestures for her to remain seated. She does so dutifully, and he starts to walk with the Son, folding his arms behind his back.

"You've chosen the Dark Side and allowed it to feed your anger and desire for power," the Father states.

"By bringing a descendant of Revan and the Chosen One here, you've shown me my potential," the Son argues. "You've only yourself to blame!"

"Do not do this, son. Do not become what you should not. Be strong, I implore you, or else I will be forced to contain you," the Father warns him firmly.

"You look frail, father," the Son murmurs, mocking him.

"You know very well that there are others in the universe beyond just me who are willing, and capable, of restraining you if necessary," he retorts, narrowing his eyes at him. "But I am not dead yet."

The Son falters in his steps, allowing his rage to fuel him as he glares at his father's back.

"Well, perhaps I am tired of waiting!" he exclaims furiously.

Raising his arms, the Son shoots a powerful blast of red Force lightning that catches the Father by surprise, throwing him outside of the monastery. The Father tumbles to the ground with a groan of pain, rolling to a stop directly in front of a shock and alarmed Obi-Wan.

"I hate you!" the Son screams.

Obi-Wan looks up to see the Son transform into his gargoyle form and take flight with a screech, swooping down low. He ducks his head as the Son passes just overhead and watches as he flies off into the night, shaken.

"Father!" the Daughter cries out.

Obi-Wan turns around to see her rushing down the stairs in a panic. He looks down in concern at the Father, who groans weakly with a pained grimace on his face. the Daughter then kneels beside him, and frantically begins to check his health.

Jayden didn't know how long he searched... nor did he care. All he cared about was getting Ahsoka back. Despite Sidious' best efforts to stomp any of Jayden's feelings for Ahsoka out of him, it didn't work. Jayden's feelings for Ahsoka were too strong.

Jayden shook his head, now was not the time to dwell on this. He needed to find Ahsoka and get her out of here. Jayden went to the Son's evil garden and saw Ahsoka sitting on a ledge cross legged.

"Ahsoka, Ahsoka, It's me your safe now let's go." Jayden said as he walked forward yet paused as something felt off. He could sense it. There was something wrong here...wrong with Ahsoka.

"Jayden~" Ahsoka purred seductively as she stood and turned to Jayden who's eyes widened at the sight of her. Her eyes weren't blue anymore but instead they were yellow...like a Sith' was not the Ahsoka he knew. And her changed appearance caused him to feel something he only felt once... fear.

"What has he done to you?" Jayden growled.

"Nothing's wrong with me." She replied in a sing-songy tone. There was even something off with her voice. It was her alright, but Jayden could clearly see she wasn't well. "I'm perfectly fine." She started walking towards him, her hands behind her back as her body swayed from side to side, like she didn't have a care in the world. "I just wanna talk, Jayden. Is that so bad?" She wondered.

"Ahsoka, there is something wrong with you." Jayden stated as he tensed a little upon her approach.

"There's nothing wrong with me." She told him. She wasn't far away from him now. She was close enough Wraith could see every little detail of her body. Her pointed teeth, which he always thought to be rather alluring, now looked downright dangerous.

Everything about this... 'dark' Ahsoka was definitely wrong.

"What...do you wish to talk about?" Jayden asked, if only to keep her talking and see what the Son had done to her.

"You, me... and the thing you have for me." She replied. "I know you like me. You think I'm beautiful. The Jedi say you desire me." Ahsoka revealed. Jayden maintained his even composure, but a questioning feeling fluttered in the pit of his stomach. "But I think it's more than that." Ahsoka continued, a somewhat sinister grin appearing on her face. "You don't just like me... you looooove me." She emphatically said, stepping closer to him. "You really love me. Head over heels even!" She exclaimed, suddenly chuckling. "But you're afraid it won't work. You're afraid we're too different. You're a bad guy... and I'm a good girl."

"I am." He rumbled in a low voice, but even as he said those words his mind was not on this conversation. Ahsoka giggled at his response.

"It's okay. I have a dark side too." She told him in a low voice, her smile both alluring and unsettling. "We could get into all kinds of trouble together." She added in a rather teasing tone. "I can be whatever you want me to be. I can be your little Togruta slut." She whispered with a devilish smile. Her words surprised Jayden and instantly shook him out of his confused stupor.

"No. No..." he growled, fighting off the desire that swelled within him. "That is not what I want!" He stated, tearing his gaze away from her.

"Aw, of course it is Jayden." Ahsoka continued in a sympathetic tone. "You want me... and a big, powerful Sith like you takes what he wants. And that includes me..."

"Ahsoka that is not what I want!" Jayden repeated, quite firmly this time. The dark Ahsoka appeared to be taken aback by his words. Then, with a smile, Ahsoka undid her belt and dropped it.

"You sure?" She wondered, moving her hips side to side as she started to slide her leggings down, revealing her bare, dull-orange thighs. "You sure this isn't what you wanted all along?" Then she reached for the diamond-shaped cutout above her chest and pulled it down, teasing him with a gratuitous display of her cleavage. "You sure you don't want all of this...?" She asked in a seductive voice. Jayden turned away, he knew she was trying to tempt him. But he refused to give in. This wasn't her!

"Whatever the Son has done to you...I'm gonna free you from it." Jayden growled with growing anger at what the Son had done to his Ahsoka. Wait, his Ahoksa? Jayden shook the thought away, now was not the time.

"Now that's no fun." She pouted, fixing her clothes and putting her belt back on. "What kinda bad guy doesn't wanna have fun with a willing girl like me? You must join him...if you don't, he'll kill me!" She giggled like that was the best thing to think about.

"I won't let him." Jayden growled at the thought.

"Then you will be forced to kill me." Ahsoka said and activated one of her Lightsabers, the green blade humming. Jayden said nothing as he took one of his Lightsabers and activated it, assuming a stance.

Ahsoka leaped at him and tried an attack but Jayden blocked with his Lightsber, defending himself rather than go on the attack.

"I don't wanna fight you Ahsoka!" Jayden said as he kept blocking her attacks as Ahsoka kicked him to the ground while knocking his Lightsaber out of his hand.

"And now I'll end this once and for all!" Ahsoka said, Jayden got to his feet and used the Force to call his saber to him, Ahsoka tried to attack him but he blocked her attack and started pushing back against her attacks, going on the offensive but making sure to not go for the kill at any point, even when the opening to do so was there.

"Skilled as you are, my dear, you still have much to learn." Jayden pointed out as he pushed her back with the Force and twirled his saber as she straightened up. Then Anakin and Obi-Wan joined him. "What the hell took you two so long?"

"Shut up." Anakin growled at him.

"Two Jedi and a Sith. Finally, a challenge." Ahsoka grinned as she jumped down and fought the three to kill them as she and Jayden locked sabers.

Any suggestions!?" Anakin asked Obi-Wan

"Yes we cut her free!" Obi-Wan said as he pulled out a two foot long dagger.

"What is that?" Anakin and Jayden asked

"It can kill the son" Obi-Wan Replied

"Where did you get that?!" Ahsoka said in a deep voice, her own mixing with that of the Son's. "Give it to me!"

Just then the Son and Daughter came crashing down to the ground as the Father flew down, the Son got back up.

"So nice of you to join our little party father!" the Son said as he blasted the Father with red force lighting but the Father blocked it with the Force.

"You will stop this!" The Father said as The Son increased the power of the Force lighting.

"You are to weak for me old man, you mean nothing to me anymore!" the Son said as Father got weak and collapsed.

The Son flew up to The Father and blasted him again.

"Anakin now!" Obi-Wan said as he through the dagger to him, but Ahsoka jumped up, caught it and landed near the son. She looked back at the two Jedi and one Sith and smirked.

"Everything has transpired just as I planned, now give it to me child." The Son told Ahsoka as he held out his hand.

Ahsoka looked back at the Jedi and Sith, "Ahsoka, please don't do it!" Jayden pleaded, Ahsoka looked at him as her face softened, then she gave the dagger to the Son.

"Thank you, your usefulness has come to and end." The Son said as he tapped Ahsoka's forehead and she fell to the ground dead.

"NO!" Jayden yelled with wide eyes as he looked at the body of the girl he loved...yes, he loved her. He understood now. It wasn't a simple crush or infatuation as Sidious and Dooku believed it...he had really fallen in love with Ahsoka.

And now...she was dead. She had been taken from him.

Jayden doubled over onto his hands and knees, refusing to believe what he was seeing. "No... No..." He rasped, desperate to deny this reality. But somewhere, deep within him, he was convinced that Ahsoka was gone.

He felt like he was choking, his hands clawing the ground as he fought to recover his senses. Everything around him became incoherent, turning into an indecipherable din of a variety of noises as everything save for this horrific moment was pushed from his mind. All he could keep seeing was Ahsoka dying and he was unable to stop it.

HIM!

The descendant of Revan himself!

He should have the power to stop the one he loved from dying!

He needed more...more power!

The grief and shock faded away...and became anger.

So. Much. Anger.

His rage swelled, exploding like an atomic bomb. His fists clenching tighter than a vise, a low growl escaped through his clenched teeth, his mind overwhelmed by sorrow and fury. It all happened so fast and so suddenly Jayden could barely comprehend what was happening. But he felt it all. He felt the sorrow, he felt the agony... and he felt the rage.

Jayden threw back his head and loosed a beastly roar as he felt a rage unlike anything he'd ever felt before. "GrrAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"

His emotional outburst unleashed a ripple through the Force in the form of a wave of intense, searing heat. The ground cracked and shook, columns of fire shooting forth from the ground and reaching high into the sky. The shaking was so violent it managed to fling Obi-Wan, Anakin, the Son, the Daughter and the Father to the ground, the dagger skittering away from the Son's grip. The air around them suddenly grew hot and heavy, like they were in the midst of a raging fire.

"The Dark Side... it's so... strong...!" Obi-Wan struggled to say. There was only one explanation for this, the Light would never be able to bring about sensations like this.

"It... It feels like... an inferno...!" Anakin rasped as his senses were overwhelmed by a surging heat.

"Such anger... Such intense... rage..." the Father muttered, feeling it too as he looked at Jayden.

"Oh my." The Son muttered, still on the ground. Being the literal embodiment of the Dark Side, he could feel and determine these sensations more than the Jedi could. He looked up at the two Jedi. "This is a rage born of passion..."

Jayden breathed heavily as he gripped his Lightsabers, activating both of them before his eyes rolled to the back of his head and he passed out...
