Narumi specifically remembers getting out of bed in her apartment that morning a 17-year-old war veteran. How she managed to end up in a completely different room in the body of a 14-year-old student version of herself? She will never know.

Narumi was walking around Konoha with Sasuke, celebrating their 1 year anniversary when suddenly a bright light flashed and she had awoken in a steel grey room. It appeared to be the bedroom of someone very rich. She walked around the room, it was very large.

Suddenly something caught her eyes. It was a collage of photographs. She saw pictures of her and Sasuke seemingly on dates and such. Pictures of her ad Sakura. Pictures with Kakashi, Iruka, Hinata and all their friends from Konoha. It was weird because Narumi didn't remember ever taking these pictures. However, what truly shook her were the pictures that included her parents.

"Huh, why are there pictures of me and Sasuke and... huh?!"

Among them was a picture of her and Sasuke in a flower field with her parents. Her mother, her father, both smiling widely at the camera. She almost wanted to rip the picture off the wall and take it for herself. But she didn't have time for sentiments, she needed to figure out where she was and locate Sasuke immediately if he was with her in this weird place.

Setting her vision straight, she when to the rooms off the side of the bedroom. She opened one that led to what looked like a giant walk-in closet. It was gorgeous and the dream of any fashion lover. Clothes covered every wall and racks upon racks of shoes and what looked like a jewellery 'archive'. This has probably been the dream closet of her (very much alive) girlier side. Not practical for a shinobi, but pretty nonetheless.

She managed to spot a mirror and took a good look at herself. She looked a bit younger than she remembered. She was definitely shorter than she remembered and her hair, which was cut off at her upper back during the war, was now back to its significantly much longer state touching the back of her knees when let down (however it was currently in two French braids down her back).

She was wearing a light carnation pink silk camisole and matching shorts. She wore the normal house slippers in white and she looked like she had just woken up (which she technically just did).

She sized herself up and then she spotted it. Her arm. It had grown back. How didn't she realise this earlier? How was this even possible? The seal on her hand wasn't back though. She was freaking out. So the person or thing or force or... whatever that brought her here was also able to regrow her arm. Good to know.

This situation however made her worry about Kurama. If the thing that brought her here must know about him. And if they knew about him, then there was no doubt that they would be able to do something to him. After all, they were able to revert her age and grow her arm back from scratch!

So she attempted to enter her mindscape. She tried once, twice, thrice. Not working.

She should have expected this. Whether she wanted to admit it or not, Kurama was the majority of her power and she relied on him more than she would like. If this person was trying to keep her here it was a no brainer that they would attack her main source of power. So now she was significantly less powerful, she was alone in a place where seemingly impossible things could happen (like Sasuke meeting her parents or her older self meeting them) and she had absolutely no idea where she was. This was irritating.

She sighed in an attempt to calm herself. Getting caught up in her emotions and doing something rash was probably what the person who brought her to this place wanted. For now, she would keep a clear mind and a calm face. Her main priority, for now, was to keep and open mind and attempt to perhaps find Sasuke.

She exited the closet and opened the door adjacent to it. This room was a bathroom. It was large and elegant. The closet may have hinted at it, but this bathroom was screaming it at her face. The owner of this room was rich and judging by the photos there was a possibility that they were either 'her', related to her or knew her (or perhaps were obsessed with her, it happened more often than she would like to admit).

She exited the bathroom and continued around the room, looking for other clues that could allude to where she was.

Firstly, there was the bed. It was large, probably a king-sized. It had cream and light orange sheets and a large assortment of pillows. The pillows consisted of about four standard ones and multiple decorative pillows. They ranged in colour from a deep orange to even pink.

There was a large, white fluffy rug on the floor that added to the cosy feeling of the room.

In another corner of the room was a large desk. A desktop on the table and books stacked. A bookshelf beside it filled with books and other trinkets. Shelves filled with trophies and medals. She opened the drawers of the table and found more devices. A laptop and a tablet. A headset. A microphone setup and a web camera.

"Hm... If I have a laptop, computer and a tablet, then I must have a phone around here somewhere."

She walked around looking for a phone before finding it in the drawer of the left bedside table. She took up the phone and turned it on. The screen lit up with a picture of her and her mother together. She tried to open the phone, only for a password to be required.

"Shit!- It has a password!"

She tried to think of a possible password. Suddenly, her fingers started moving without thinking and entered the correct password. She didn't know what the password was but her body seemed to know...

"Hmm... I wonder..."

She went through her phone. Contacts first.

"Don't know them... them either... Sakura... Ino... Sasuke... Mom... Dad... So this place is truly trying to convince me that my parents are alive. Great."

She moved onto the photo gallery. It was full of photos of her and her friends, her parents and her boyfriend. She almost cracked a smile until she remembered her dilemma. She quickly ran to a door and opened it, praying it was the exit. It was. What luck!

She rushed through the halls and down the stairs her body moving without her thinking. It was like her body was used to this place but she couldn't remember ever being here. Before she even realised it, she was in a dining room greeting two people she never thought she would see ever again.

Her parents.

She wanted to cry and run and hug them both but she didn't know where she was or if these people were really her parents at all. So she simply stared, trying to keep her- many- emotions in check.

They sat at the large dining table together, having a conversation. However, as soon as she walked into the room, the conversation seized. They both looked towards her before greeting her.

"Ah, good morning sweetheart. How are you?" Kushina- her mother greeted her. A smile graced her beautiful face.

Narumi was slightly confused. They spoke in a language that was foreign to her. She had never heard it before and yet somehow she understood them perfectly. She couldn't however, not answer them and so she did.

"Ah! Good morning mother, father."

Narumi was shocked. She had never spoken this language before and yet she could suddenly speak it fluently. What was going on?

Though she was shocked, Narumi made it a point to not show that in her expressions. Instead, she smiled and sat down at a place near them; across her parents at the dining table.

"So Naru-Chan, are you excited for your first day at your new school?" Minato- her father, asked her excitement evident in his voice. Narumi was confused. What school!? She graduated a long time ago and she did not win a war only to come back to school right after.

Not knowing how to answer she simply said, "Hn.. not really," attempting to sound dejected. However, after she spoke she realized her mistake, she had spoken in Japanese and not the weird language her parents were. Just as she was about to correct herself, her mother butted in.

"I get it. Moving schools isn't fun and you had to leave all your friends behind, but look on the bright side you still have Sasuke to keep your company." Kushina said brightly.

"Also don't forget to speak with French only at school, unless you are communicating with us over the phone or Sasuke. Not a lot of people here speak Japanese. Okay, darling?" Minato added not long after.

Narumi's nervousness shifted slightly upon the revelation that Sasuke was with her. She surely hoped that it was the same Sasuke that she knew and not some alternate Sasuke from this weird-ass alternate universe.

She also knew the name of the strange language she was speaking now. She started thinking of plans for getting away.

"Maybe I can get Sasuke to help me to escape. Maybe we can use a jutsu. How did we get here, maybe if we figure that out we ca-"

"Now Narumi quit your overthinking and eat your breakfast. You needed to get ready soon, your ride to school will be here for you in an hour and a half."

"Oh um.. okay." Speaking this foreign language never seized to freak her out mentally. But she needed to stop worrying. She would need to play along with the rules of this world in order to get out anyways.

Stopping her thoughts she turned to her food and began to eat. She needed to meet up with Sasuke as soon as was possible.

~o0o~

Once again in her room, Narumi exited the bathroom. She had just taken a shower and was ready to dress up. It had been a while since her biggest problems were what to wear and how she looked. It was rather refreshing. It didn't help that she had always wanted to have a huge closet and the one she had now was massive.

Entering the heaven for clothes lovers, she started looking around. She would stay incredibly simple, avoiding wearing too much jewellery and wearing clothes that would allow for hiding weapons and easy movement. But stylish enough that she would make a good impression while also incorporating a piece of her Japanese culture- because why not?

In the end, she went with a plain, light orange cotton camisole (which was very different from the one she seemingly wore to bed; rather plain in comparison). The camisole was tucked into a short, high waisted, black skater skirt. With this she paired a pair of black thigh high socks that stopped close to the hem of her skirt, leaving only a short band of skin visible to the eye. She wore a pair of heeled boots that stopped a little over her knee. The heels weren't too high that they were impractical but they were quite prominent and added quite a bit of height to her smaller body structure.

Over the entire outfit, she draped a long, solid coloured, orange haori (it stopped at her mid-thigh). It covered the two pouches she had on her back, one containing kunai and the other shuriken. She also hid a small knife in the side of her right boot, pretty convenient.

She picked up everything she could think of that would be useful to her. Looking at the random list she didn't notice before for some reason that conveniently had all the books she needed for each day, she packed her backpack and hid her phone in an extra side pouch.

She decided to wear some accessories. She never really got the opportunity as she was a kunoichi, but she was going to savour this opportunity.

After going through her archive of accessories, she settled on a golden choker and a pretty heart necklace. Her body seemed to gravitate towards it so she assumed it was important to this version of herself. She wore a single golden beaded bracelet on her right hand and multiple jewelled bangles on her left.

She put on a single diamond ring on her right ring finger and a pair of studded earrings. In her hair, she wore an expensive-looking jewelled headband and pulled her hair into her signature high twin tails, a nostalgic hairstyle, one she hadn't worn since the end of the war.

If she was going to be here, she was going to savour all this expensive-looking stuff that she has never had the luxury of owning. Who cares if she looks like she's flaunting.

Once she deemed herself ready, she exited her room and left through the hall. Allowing her body to move her along, she quickly found herself outside and greeted who she assumed was her driver. Hopping into the very expensive-looking car, they drove down the unnecessarily long driveway on her was to what would become her school for the next few months.

~o0o~

Sasuke too woke up in an unfamiliar environment. It was a strange room. It looked to belong to someone with a decent amount of money. Rather fancy. A weird room to lock the one you kidnap in and it was definitely not the room of a shinobi.

As he was unfamiliar with the room, he made sure to look for an escape quickly. However, he decided to look around first. Perhaps it could give him a weapon to fight with or perhaps something could give him a clue of where he was or who took him.

So he looked around and then his eyes landed on it.

"What the fuck!?"

A wall. A wall that contained pictures upon pictures of him and his girlfriend. Pictures of what should be his deceased family. Pictures of events that never took place. Pictures that would have been impossible to take. Pictures that he never owned.

Unlike Narumi, Sasuke did not have a very open mind. He immediately assumed this person was either an obsessive stalker or someone trying to taunt him with pictures of his loved ones. Either way, he was ready to beat however took him to this place to a bloody pulp.

He looked around the room, going into the first door his body brought him to. This door led to a bathroom. It was fairly big and definitely something he would like to have back at home. He took a peek in the mirror and was shocked at what he saw.

He was visibly shorter (though probably still taller than a 17-year-old Narumi) and he was wearing a t-shirt and sweats. Nothing unusual. However, what caught his attention was his eye.

"Why the fuck do I look like I'm a kid again? Huh- Where is my rinnegan!? And my arm? Okay, okay. Calm yourself. Find out if you still have your Sharingan first."

He attempted to use his Sharingan. He closes his eyes, focusing on moving his chakra to his eyes. Once he opened his eyes, the familiar tomoed pattern of his Sharingan, however, no matter what he tried, he could access his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. He almost panicked before breathing and calming himself.

"Okay, okay. Calm down, you've lost the Mangekyō but you still have the three tomoes. And now you have two arms. You can still fight if necessary, just continue looking around."

Despite his attempt to keep calm, he couldn't help the uneasy feeling in his stomach. This enemy he has was able to severely handicap him by taking away the most important weapon in his arsenal but they were also able to give him a new arm.

Was this person his ally or enemy? He surely hoped it was the former rather than the latter and he was denied access to his most powerful attacks and should he have to fight, this would be much harder (especially without Narumi).

He then exited the bathroom with a sigh, he spotted a wooden door adjacent to the bathroom. It was the door to a wardrobe. A decently sized walk-in closet. Just enough for all the necessities and anything else he needs.

"Hn... this would be perfect for storing weapons if I knew where I was."

He searched the bedroom, coming upon a laptop and a phone. Gingerly taking the phone into his hands, he turned it on. A picture of his family...

"Hn."

He attempted to open the phone by figuring out the password. He didn't even think before his body moved, typing out a password he didn't even have time to catch on to.

"Contacts... Photos... Games... Messages... Nothing here that could help me and nothing here I care about... I should probably try to escape now."

He put the phone down quickly and speed-walked out the door. Down the short hallway and down a flight of stairs. His body moved him and he simply let his bodily instinct guide him. His bodily instinct wasn't guiding him to freedom, however. I was guiding him to the next part of his new story.

He, like Narumi, was led to a dining room. Well more like the dining table in their kitchen. He walked into a large kitchen and spotted people he never expected to see again.

His parents. His brother. His friend.

They were all alive, sitting at the dining table in the far corner of the kitchen. They were laughing and smiling.

Sasuke was confused. He really wanted to break down and cry and high his parents, his brother. But he didn't know where he was. Why he was there or what this could mean. He did not have time for breakdowns. So, he put on a facade and greeted them all.

"Good Morning Mother, Father, Itachi, Shisui."

He sat down at the empty seat with a plate in front of it and began eating. He waited for the others to start a conversation because he sure as heck wasn't going to.

"Good Morning Honey." Mikoto- Sasuke's mother- called to him.

"Huh? I've never heard this language before and yet I understand it?"

"I hope you are excited about your new school. Narumi's driver is coming to pick you up and bring you with them."

He had no idea what they were talking about but he would just play along. He was, however, relieved to hear Narumi's name. Perhaps she understood what was happening. "Uh... yeah I'm pretty excited... I guess."

"Oh yes and remember, French at school unless you are talking to Naru-chan or us on the phone okay?"

He assumed she wanted him to reply in this 'french' language, so he let his body and mind guide him and then he answered, "Uh yeah right. Sorry."

Not exactly what he was going for, but it works.

"Alrighty then finish your breakfast and then go get ready."

Sasuke nodded, finishing his breakfast in silence. He was disappointed that his father made no attempt to speak with him the entire time through breakfast but, he was happily included in Itachi and Shisui's conversations and that more than made up for it.

~o0o~

Sasuke quickly returned to his room and got ready for school. He just let his body decide what to wear. There is no doubt in his mind that what he wore as a shinobi probably wasn't the most suitable for school.

He ended up in a plain white shirt and a pair of dark jeans. Over that he wore a navy blue haori and on his feet, he wore a pair of ankle-high black boots. While not a fan of accessories, he put on a single necklace.

He then took the remaining time to hide as many weapons as he could on him. He hid a kunai and shuriken pouch on his back (hidden by his haori) and a knife in his shoe.

He let his body lead him once more and picked up his backpack and packed it with what seemed to be the necessary books. He picked up his phone after and exited to house, making sure to say goodbye to his family on the way out.

Outside his house was an expensive-looking car, whom he assumed belonged to Narumi. Entering the car he was greeted by the face he has been needing to see for a while.

"Narumi."

~o0o~

"Narumi. Good Morning." He said carefully. He didn't know if this Narumi was 'his' Narumi. He would observe her first and then make a deduction.

Narumi on the other hand immediately knew this was her Sasuke. He looked way too uncomfortable to be anybody else. Her Sasuke was always confident so if he was uncomfortable, that means he was in an unusual situation.

She figured that out so fast. And people say she's dumb.

"Oi Teme. Do you have any idea how we got here?" Narumi asked the Uchiha.

Sasuke let out a sigh of relief. So it wasn't just him. At least now he had his companion.

"I don't know dobe. I was hoping you would have an idea."

"Hmm...I got nothing."

"Of course."

"Hey! You don't have and ideas either y'know!"

"Hn. Whatever."

"Stop being such a bastard and help me out here."

"Look I don't know, we just have to figure it out later. For now, we need to deal with the problem we currently have and that is school."

"Ugh, I know. I did not win a war just to go back to school."

"Neither did I! You're not the only one suffering."

"Yes, I am! Because unlike you, I suck at school."

"No, you don't you just have to study harder."

"That's my point. I didn't win a war to just go back to school and study for months."

"Eh sucks to be you then."

Narumi glared at her boyfriend before turning her attention to the device she had found. 'Her' phone.

"So uh... you found a phone in your room right?"

"Yeah. I did. But what's that gotta do with this?"

"Perhaps there are clues as to what we are to be doing here? And maybe how we got here."

"Wow... a good idea for once," Sasuke said dryly. Instead of retorting, Narumi resorted to simply glaring at her partner before turning her attention to the phone in her hands.

Putting in the password she remembered from before, she opened the smartphone. She looked through everywhere she wasn't able to before.

Sasuke did the same. He, however, unlike Narumi, was successful in finding something important. He checked the news and was able to find out about Paris' safety features.

"Superheroes." He said out loud gaining Narumi's attention.

"Hm? Superheroes? What about them?" Narumi asked intrigued by this sudden development.

"Apparently there are superheroes here." He answered, showing Narumi the photos attached to the article he was able to find on them.

"Woah superheroes, with the lamest costumes and names I have ever heard," Narumi said, disappointed. "Like come on, it wouldn't kill you to be creative."

"No. Apparently, these costumes are magic and come from some superpowered jewellery called miraculous."

"Wow. Even I'm having a hard time believing this and I lived with a giant talking demon fox in my stomach for seventeen years."

"Also it seems these costumes and names come from the miraculous or something like that, so the heroes don't choose them."

"Wow... that's sad. Like, imagine getting to become a superhero and not being able to choose your own name or costume. Must suck."

"What I wanna know is, if these jewels are so powerful, why is there so much information about them online? Besides the villain's name is even lamer. Like who the fuck names themselves 'HawKMoTh'?"

"*Gasp* Is this what I think it is?" Narumi exclaimed dramatically while Sasuke looked at her confused. "Is the Teme actually gaining a sense of humour?"

Sasuke simply looked at her with a deadpan expression.

"Jeez, no need to be such a buzzkill." She grumbled before continuing her online search.

"What a second. How long have we been in this car? How far is this school from my house?" Narumi all but screeched at her driver.

"Ah, young mistress. We have been here for about five minutes." The driver replied nervously.

"HAH! AND YOU NEVER TOLD ME!?"

"Ah! Sincerest apologies but it seemed you were in an important conversation so I didn't wish to interrupt." This caused Narumi to calm down.

"That's fine. Uh, we should probably go Sasuke."

"Hn."

"Stop being so Uchiha."

"Hn."

"Honestly I am *this close* to breaking up with you," Narumi said putting her thumb and index fingers together, a rather small gap between them.

"Hn."

"UGH!" She exclaimed in frustration throwing her hands in the air before grabbing her bag and exiting the car. Sasuke simply smirked before taking his bag and exiting as well.

~o0o~

It was a normal day for Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Wake up slightly late. Rush to get ready. Eat breakfast and then head off to school making sure to trip at least three times in between each activity.

However, today was special and for some reason, her body told her to be early. She didn't question it, she just went with the flow.

And it seems she was in the right there because the moment she stepped through the doors of her school, she was hit by a buzz of talking. She was confused but she had managed to make out a few words in the noise. Something about 'transfer students' and 'Japan', which she assumed meant 'transfer students from Japan'.

Marinette was baffled at how she didn't hear about this earlier but it was fair, ever since she became a hero she had been a little out of touch with normal teenage gossip, however, she would have expected Alya to inform her because, somehow, Alya always knew what was going on and knew more than she should have.

Marinette walked into her class to see them as talkative as the other students outside. She looked around her classroom to see who was there. Adrien was not yet at class, that's understandable. Chloe and Sabrina weren't there either, that's a blessing. No one else was missing.

Marinette sat beside Alya who almost immediately caught her up on the news.

"Hey, girl did you hear?" Alya asked as soon as Marinette sat down beside her. Marinette looked at her slightly confused. Was she talking about the new students or something else?

"Huh?" Marinette answered.

"About the transfer students from Japan! I heard they're coming today!" Alya half-exclaimed in excitement, stars practically floating in her eyes.

"Oh, yeah I heard. It's cool I guess?" Marinette answered unsurely. She wasn't exactly sure how to feel about it. I mean the last time they had a new student they were friends with Chloe, it was Adrien and she ended up disliking him for something Chloe did. Sure they are friends now but stuff it could be the same this time and this time they could be just as awful as Chloe.

"Of course it's cool! I wonder if they speak French or if we'll have to use a translator. Oh, I wonder what they look like. I heard one is a girl!" Alya was practically bursting with excitement at this point. Marinette smile unable to hide her amusement, though she did have a question she voiced.

"I wonder why they chose to come to France in the first place though. I mean they could've gone anywhere," Marinette said. Surely they could've gone anywhere. Italy, Germany, America, The Caribbean, a whole other continent! There were so many other interesting places why France.

"Perhaps they heard about the superheroes and came to check it out? There have been some people who have done that. Or what if they work for Hawk Moth? That would be concerning, though I doubt they would be working for him, even though I can't completely cross out that possibility ."

"Actually I heard that one of the students' parents are some powerful Japanese politician and the other's their official guard or something. They're supposedly on some important trip and brought the kids with them for a year or so," Alya clarified for Marinette.

"So you're telling me that not only are they foreign, they are powerful and more than likely rich?" Now Marinette was concerned. If they were rich and did politics there was no doubt Chloe knew them and if she got her mitts on them then they could be just as awful as her. She was disappointed, though she wouldn't fully jump to conclusions.

Suddenly the shrill, annoying voice of the very person Marinette didn't want to see, joined the conversation. It was Chloe followed by her minion Sabrina. Marinette looked on with a deadpan expression.

"Did she really have to appear now?"

"Yes, they are. They are from two of the most powerful families, or clans as they call them, in Japan. The Uchiha and Uzumaki respectively. The Uzumaki-Namikaze family more commonly known as the Uzumaki are a family of well respected and powerful politicians and company owners and the Uchiha clan are a group of trained fighters who practically run the military in Japan," Chloe stated, deciding to grace the pair with her exceptional knowledge of this particular topic.

"And how do you know all this information?" Alya asked sceptically.

"Well, you can find it pretty easily on the internet. Also, I met them yesterday when their parents met me and my daddy at the hotel to start their business. The transferees are a girl and a boy," Chloe responded plainly. Of course, she already met them.

"Well, thanks for the info?" Marinette answered, a bit of doubt in her voice. Oh, how she truly hoped the new students weren't Chloe reincarnate.

"I wasn't giving it to you. I was showing you now that my daddy and I have even more power than you. I am going to tell you this one time and one time only. Stay away from them Dupain-Cheng and Cesaire because I am to be their escort and I don't want you tainting them with your weirdness. So. Stay. Away. Got it?" Chloe spoke, her voice filled with poison as she threatened her classmates. Even though Marinette wanted to talk to the new students, she wasn't sure they were worth getting even further on Chloe's bad side for. So for now, she would lay off. Even though Chloe telling her to lay off made her want to talk to them even more.

"Whatever Chloe, can you just go away?" Marinette asked the blonde-haired girl as kindly as she could. Chloe was annoying her and she wasn't sure if she could stand talking to her for another second without snapping at her.

"Hmph, whatever." Chloe simply scoffed before turning around and sitting at her seat; Sabrina following suit.

It wasn't long before Madame Bustier entered the classroom and confirmed the rumours and Chloe's information to the classroom. Chloe was then sent out of the class to fetch the students and everyone held their breath.

While she was gone, Adrien arrived at class. He greeted everyone as usual before turning to the girl behind him.

"Hey uh do you know what's going on? I saw this really expensive-looking car just parked outside the school for like a good few minutes and it seemed like it was there for a while. Then there was screaming and two people I didn't recognise came out." Adrien asked.

"Oh! Those were just the transfer students... I think." Alya replied, a bit unsure.

"Oh. Wait... we were having transfer students?"

"Yeah, we were."

~o0o~

Narumi and Sasuke had just entered the doors of the school when a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, pretty similar to Narumi (except her skin and hair was paler and her eyes were much deeper), walked up to them and called out to them.

"Narumi, Sasuke! Madame Bustier sent me to get you both. Isn't it great, we're in the same class!" The girl exclaimed. She already kind of reminded Narumi of Sakura when they were genin with the seemingly fake enthusiasm. Not a good sign.

Neither Narumi nor Sasuke knew who the girl was, however as an attempt to not be rude, they just let their bodies do the talking.

"Ah, Chloe," So the girl's name was Chloe, "it's uh... good to see you too!" Narumi exclaimed almost nervously. It was obvious to them now that this Narumi didn't particularly like her, but didn't want to hurt her feelings. Sasuke simply didn't want to answer, so he went with a classic.

"Hn."

Chloe didn't seem to take the (very unclear) hint and continued leading the pair while taking in her usual loud tone. She lead them up a flight of stairs and into a classroom. It wasn't too different from the academy they used to attend which was slightly disappointing to the pair (though Sasuke didn't show it). After all, they were hoping for something new, this was a completely new place that they had no experience with, a change of scenery would have been nice at least.

The moment they entered the classroom, they were greeted by a hoard of colourful hair and eyes staring back at them. They were greeted by a tall, beautiful woman with vermillion hair and cyan eyes wearing a suit.

"Good Morning. Welcome to our class. I am Miss Bustier and I will be your teacher." The woman, now identified as Miss. Bustier, called to them. "Why don't you both introduce yourselves to the class."

~o0o~

Marinette, like everyone else, was a bit surprised at the transfer students. They didn't exactly look how they had imagined, but that was probably on them for using Asian stereotypes to determine how they thought the students would look.

The first to enter was a girl. She was gorgeous, like a real-life doll. Though her outfit didn't seem like the most school appropriate (due to the top of her chest being slightly exposed), it was evident she also had style. She wore an almost excessive amount of expensive-looking jewellery and made it obvious she was rich. Into the room, she pulled another person along with her.

The next to enter was a boy. He was handsome in every sense of the word. Dark hair and blank, dark eyes. He did look like what they expected a Japanese person to look like, just way above their expectations. Though he looked cold, he didn't let go of the shorter's hand as they stood in front of the class.

"...Why don't you both introduce yourselves to the class." Mme. Bustier spoke up to them. The girl's eyes brightened and she smiled before releasing her hand and exclaiming in a foreign language.

"Oh Sure! I love introductions doing y'know!"

The entire class looked at her confused. They didn't understand what she was saying at all. The boy simply coughed and nudged the girl before whispering in her ear.

"Remember Narumi, French."

"Oh! Right. Sorry, sorry."

The class was still confused as she bowed twice before finally speaking again. This time in a language they could understand.

"Sorry about that. I was so excited I forgot you couldn't understand me. My name is Uzumaki Narumi and I am from Japan. It's great to meet you!" Narumi stated sheepishly.

"I am Uchiha Sasuke," Sasuke said dryly, his face stuck in its ever-present resting bitch expression.

"Okay thanks for introducing yourselves, okay class is there any questions you want to ask your new classmates?" Miss Bustier asked her class. Several hands were raised.

"Oh, Alya?"

"Is it true that your parents are politicians Narumi and is it true that your parents basically run the military scene in Japan Sasuke and if it's true can you fight?" Alya asked as quickly as she was picked.

"Uh yes, yes and yes. I am also capable of fighting!" Narumi answered cheerily.

"Any other questions?"

"Hm... Adrien?"

"Oh uh not to sound rude but... why are you here?" Adrien asked awkwardly, afraid that they made have taken offence and he had made new enemies of them before even getting to know his new classmates. However, after his question was asked, the rest of the hands that were raised seemed to go down as if this was the same question on almost everyone's mind.

Narumi simply smiled before answering, "Our families are here on official business and our parents brought us along to give us a chance to learn from different countries schooling systems." Adrien internally sighed in relief before answering.

"Thanks for answering," Adrien said to the blue-eyed girl.

"No problem," Narumi replied enthusiastically, clapping her hands together slight.

"If there are no more questions, you guys may take the seat at the back. You'll be able to introduce yourself to the rest of your classmates afterwards."

Narumi and Sasuke nodded before walking to the back of the class and sitting down. Once they were seated, Narumi place her bag on the ground and made herself comfortable before turning to Sasuke who looked slightly irritated.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Narumi asked, concern lacing her tone. The boy looked into her eyes before sloughing slightly and sighing before looking downwards.

"I really don't want to be here." He replied truthfully. He really didn't want to be here. Whether he would admit it or not, he was worried. What if they got trapped in here forever and never returned home? What would become of Konoha if their strongest ninjas weren't there to protect them when they need it most? What if by the time they return, Konoha is in ruins?

They were in a time of peace, yes, but not everyone was happy about that and without Narumi and Sasuke there they might take this as their chance to attack.

He couldn't keep the bad thoughts out of his head and they just left a bad feeling in his stomach. He could stop the 'what ifs' from coming any they kept getting worse. At this point, he couldn't even rest his mind properly. Anything could be happening back in Konoha and they wouldn't be there to protect it. They would be here going to school, and doing assignments and making friends while their home is being destroyed.

This is why he did not intend to make any bonds here in France. It would make him feel less guilty if they went back to Konoha and it was in ruins. At least then he would know that he didn't have fun where he was while his home was suffering without him there to protect it. If he didn't make any bonds, he wouldn't have anyone to blame but himself. He knew that if he were to become friends with people, his first instinct would be to blame the new friends for any disaster that were to befall the village, even if he knew it wasn't their fault.

"Neither do I but we must do what we need in order to go home. Even if it means making friends with the people for help. We need to do whatever it takes, even if it isn't exactly pretty." Narumi said to the distressed boy.

Those words. Those were the words he did not need to hear right now. He knew it would only o downhill from here. Hearing Narumi say those words just made his worries grow. He did not wish to involve anyone in their problems and put them a risk.

He knew Narumi was right and that was what scared him most. He was already trying to atone for all the lives he took and the lives he ruined, he didn't need guilt even more on his shoulders to weigh him down.

He also didn't like the fact that Narumi was the one suggesting that they use people to meet their goal, but what choice did they have?

"Hn."

Narumi knew what that meant. She wasn't oblivious to how the boy felt. He felt helpless and useless and she knew he did but she couldn't do anything about it. She had no idea how to get back home and she too was distressed.

She was worried about what could be happening back home as well. Would they be looking for them? What would happen if they were to be trapped here? What would happen if Konoha was attacked while they were away? There were too many unanswered questions but she knew she couldn't dwell on them if she wanted to escape, she also knew it wasn't healthy for Sasuke to be this worried.

So she did what she did best.

Narumi moved her hand and placed it on Sasuke's before smiling at him.

"We will get back home, I promise."

She comforted him.

Sasuke simply sighed before giving his girlfriend's hand a squeeze.

"You really know just what to say to cheer someone up don't you?"

Narumi simply smiled before replying with a simple, "I try."

This is basically the prologue but disguised as a chapter ;).

Just me randomly information dumping on you for lazy exposition because I can. *insert peace sign*

So this is chapter one of the Another Universe Book. Hope it was good enough to meet your expectations. From now on the story will be following the format of the story with a villain of the chapter and an overarching plot. I will be following the storyline of the first episode to write the next chapter, however, the second episode and onwards will have an edited format as to properly integrate Narumi and Sasuke into the plot without changing too much of the original.

While I hope to keep story aspects such as the daily villains the same, there might be changes to them. Despite this, I have a set of villains that I know I will not be changing whatsoever (cause I'm biased) and I already have an idea of how I want the story to end.

There is no glossary today and quite frankly there probably won't be for the entirety of this book. Future readers get to bark at me if I am wrong. Anyways next chapter will be coming... eventually. I'm writing two books at a time and I intend to write at least two chapters of TLOB before I write one of these chapters (it gets first book privilege).

This story's chapters will take longer to write as I am taking it on one episode at a time, meaning every episode will be contained in a chapter. This means the chapters will probably be at least 10,000 words and upwards making them quite a bit longer than my usual chapter lengths.

Fun Fact: This Chapter was originally just under 6,000 words long, but I edited it to add a few other points and now it's over 7,000 words long ;)

I tried to keep this dynamic closer to canon Naruto and Sasuke with them arguing a fair bit but you know they still love each other. This is mostly because Narumi in TLOB is quite different from canon Naruto and she would naturally be because of circumstance and stuff so I tried to be a bit more canon-based with this version.

Naturally, she (and Sasuke) will be different but I hope I did a decent job of characterising her. Also, Sasuke will probably be a dick to the new people around him but you know that's just Sasuke.

**Narumi and Sasuke are worried about what's happening back home and Sasukes guilt is starting to get to him.

Narumi is an excellent comforter. 3

Also Narumi x Sasuke is cute. Especially when they are at each others' throats. It shows their true love.

💖Love Love💖

ANYWAYS...

I'll see you all again in TLOB where I intend to finish the first half of the Land of Waves arc.

P.S. I'm going to use the rest of the week to try and edit all of my chapters of the mistakes I can find. So I'll see you in a bit.

Have a good day or night wherever you are.
