A/N: The reveal of Sinnoh and Alola era Ash
So, it's in another alternate universe with a FEW BIG differences.
Different universe than the Kalos-JN swap
(They'll connect eventually, obviously)
Not sure if it's obvious by this point, but every single Ash gets a different ship. (Well, sorta)
Anyways, based on the feedback, I'm going to keep my current chapter structure of fewer words and faster releases

Sinnoh Ash in Alola POV:
Ash yawned and rolled out of bed, Pikachu by his side.
"Morning Pikachu," Ash said with a lazy yawn.
Something felt wrong. Something wasn't right. Ash felt….. Hot? Like burning hot
But he was in the coldest region, so that doesn't make any sense?
Ash looked out the window and almost fainted
Why….. was he in the middle of the ocean?
Pikachu jumped up on the bed and looked at Ash confused, "Pika Pika Pi Pi Pi!"
Ash shrugged, "Not sure buddy, your guess is as good as mine,"
Ash looked around the room, it looked like a pokemon center, except he had a closet. There was a picture of…. Him? Alongside some people, which he didn't recognize at all.
Ash sighed and threw on a pair of shorts and a new shirt (Sinnoh outfit worst outfit)
"Much better," Ash said as he opened the door.
A warm plate of breakfast was already waiting for Ash outside his door, with a message,
Good luck in the league final today! You're gonna kill it!

What? League final? Ash was in a league final? He started freaking out, he had never made it this far! Where was he? What was going on?
Ash ran back in the room and slammed the door, breathing hard.
"At least nothing can get weirder," Ash thought to himself
"GOOOOODMORNING ASH!" Rotom Dex flew up and greeted his owner
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Ash screamed
Pikachu jumped up and shocked Rotom Dex
"ASH WHAT THE HELL! I'M YOUR POKEDEX; YOU CAN'T JUST DO THAT!" Rotom-Dex yelled out
"WHERE AM I? WHO ARE YOU?" Ash yelled out
Rotom Dex made a confused face, "You idiot, you're in the Alola League! A floating island dedicated for a pokemon league! And you're in the final! Now stop the amnesia and get breakfast!
Ash looked at Rotom Dex, "Uhhhhh I've never heard of Alola in my life!"
Rotom Dex got angry, "Ash, you live here!"
"I live in Pallet Town!" Ash said defensively
"There must be a misunderstanding going on here, the Ash I know would never play amnesia the day of a league final. Now, what's going on!" Rotom Dex shouted out.
"I woke up here, and I fell asleep in Sinnoh the day before a league quarterfinal!" Ash crossed his arms angrily
"Ash, the last time you were in Sinnoh was almost two years ago! You won the quarterfinal against your rival Paul!" Rotom Dex said with furrowed eyebrows
"Well, uhhhhh, I mean, the battle hasn't happened yet, but I hope so!" Ash said while scratching his head
"Ash, are you serious here?" Rotom Dex said.
"Yeah, it's supposed to be today!" Ash said
"Ash, you overslept by two years and three months,"
"WHAT!"
"Here's the current date,"
"And here's the date of the Sinnoh Conference" Rotom Dex showed Ash a picture of the battle between Infernape and Electivire.
"I… what?" Ash said with widened eyes, "This, this shouldn't be possible! Did I time travel?"
"Time travel isn't scientifically possible," Rotom Dex said annoyed
"But here I am, two years after the date I'm supposed to be, so what's up with that?"
"I… I'm not sure," Rotom Dex said
A moment passed with Rotom Dex calculating in his head, "It seems like you're not lying, Ash only lies when it comes to food, never pokemon battles,"
Ash looked at Rotom Dex puzzled, "So what does that mean for me?"
Rotom Dex sighed, "Look, Ash, it seems like you're from the past. But we need you today, this is a very special moment for Alola, it's our first ever league final, and it can't be canceled. Do you have your pokemon on you?"
Ash nodded, gazing at a belt of poke balls by his bed
Rotom smiled, "Well, awesome! Guess this league final can really happen! The Ash I know is always up for a battle,"
"Looks like some things never change," Ash said with a smile
Ash extended his hand towards Rotom Dex, "Name's Ash, Ash Ketchum, and it's a pleasure to meet you again,"
Rotom Dex shook his hand, "The pleasure is mine Ash, now let's prepare you for the final we have about six hours to get you up to speed and ready for the final,"
Ash looked at him confused, "Wait, so who am I even battling anyways?"
Rotom showed him a picture and Ash gasped, "I know her! It's been years, but I know her!"
Rotom smiled, "Yep, her name is Serena Yvone and she's trying to win her first ever league after early exits in the Kalos, Kanto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Johto leagues, she successfully defeated the Kanto Battle Frontier and was runner up in last years Unova League,"
Ash nodded, "How were her previous matches?"
Rotom showed Ash a clip of her Delphox lifting an Umbreon off the ground and cooking it with a Blast Burn. An emo kid with blonde hair recalled his Umbreon from the vicious attack.
"Woah, she's really strong," Ash said impressed "And sorta hot also" Ash thought to himself
Ash looked at the picture, "So…. do we know the rest of the members of her team?"
Rotom Dex nodded, and he flashed a team on the screen,
"Wow, she seems even more tough now!"
"That she is Ash, but uhhh not to ruin the timeline, but your Sinnoh squad would have won you that league in a normal year," Rotom Dex said
"Wait, what?" Ash said puzzled
Rotom Dex showed him a picture of his battle against Tobias, and Ash grimaced
"I remember hearing about him earlier on in the tournament, that's unfortunate for me," Ash said in a frustrated tone
"Well, anything else I should know before the battle in a few hours?" Ash said
"OH! Z Moves! Basically they're a super strong move that pokemon can use if they have a strong bond with their trainers, the Z moves are super strong and require a crystal and a ring to use. And Serena uses Z moves,"
Ash looked down towards his belt, "Well, I do have one trick up my sleeve that I just got access to a few days ago, I've never even used it in a real battle, but I think this ace can help me out quite a bit,"
"Well, help me out here, I'm calculating a strategy for you,"
Ash reached under his belt, and pulled out a mega glove.
Rotom's eyes widened, "Woahhhhhhh is that a key stone? Where'd you get it? Who are you gonna use it on?"
"Yep! Well, you just need to wait and see," Ash said with a devious smile
"Humpf, I'm supposed to be your helper here! Tell me all of your secrets, now!" Rotom Dex said angrily
Ash just rolled his eyes and ignored Rotom Dex
Ash smirked, "I'm gonna make the best of this, and no matter where I am, my pokemon and I can win any battle with our bond! I'm gonna win this league!"

Alola Ash in Sinnoh POV

"AAAAAAAAAH," Ash woke up with a sweat, waking up the whole room in the pokemon center.
"Ash, go back to bed," Brock said in a monotone tired voice from another bed.
"Seriously Ash, it's the middle of the night, I get that you're stressed, but it's not cool to wake everyone up," Dawn said in an irritated voice from the floor
"Wait, hold on, Dawn? Brock?" Ash said confused
"Ash, you've known me since you were ten, I'd hope that you know my name," Brock said irritated.
"Yes Ash, my name is Dawn," Dawn said annoyed
"But, Brock, you're back in Kanto! I saw you a few weeks ago, and Dawn, you're off in Hoenn doing contests and pokemon modeling!" Ash said in a very confused tone.
"Ash, that's not funny," Dawn said
"But it's true! Look here," Ash reached for Rotom Dex and gasped when he didn't feel him nearby.
Ash looked out of the window and saw a group of stadiums, and a central plaza around them.
"Oh no… am I….. am I in Sinnoh?" Ash said in a scared tone
"Ash, are you ok?" Brock said, starting to be worried about his friend
"Brock, what's the date?" Ash said in a worried tone
"It's Saturday, May the XXth" Brock said
"No… no way, that's impossible! Time travel can't be real!" Ash started shaking slightly and looked around, trying to convince himself this was all a dream
"Calm down Ash, are you ok?" Dawn said in a worried tone
"$h!t," Ash screamed out, "AAAAAGH, the day after I finally win the league, I get sent back in time to f%ck!ng Sinnoh!"
"Hey, it's ok Ash, you're gonna be ok, it was probably just a bad drea- Wait, what's that around your wrist?" Brock said confused
"It's a Z Ring….." Ash said and then his eyes widened
"ITS A Z RING!" Ash said overjoyed
"What's a Z Ring," Dawn whispered to Brock
Ash hugged Dawn out of the blue, causing her cheeks to turn slightly red
Ash pulled away and pumped his fist in happiness.
"GUYS, I CAN BEAT TOBIAS NOW!" Ash said happily
"I still don't know what a Z Ring is," Dawn said
"Oh! So basically, it makes your pokemon use a super move that looks really strong and it can only be done with a crystal and a ring, it takes a strong bond between trainer and pokemon to even think about doing one! But if successful, it makes winning battles a whole lot easier," Ash said
"Ohhh that's cool! THink they'd be useful in contests?" Dawn questioned Ash
Ash shrugged, "I mean I think so,"
Ash smiled, "So, when's my matchup?"
"Ash, your next match is against Paul later today," Brock said
Ash's eyes widened and he smirked, "Even better, I can smack the daylights out of him this time, and then beat the snot out of that dirty cheater,"
"Wait, Ash, calm down and explain, what do you mean by this time," Brock said
"Guys, I'm from the future. A hair over two years, and I woke up back in the past, with a stronger team and a Z Ring,"
"No way….." Dawn said, gazing at the Z Ring
Ash sighed, "Here, let me prove it,"
Ash picked up a poke ball off of his belt and tossed it, "Rowlet, I choose you!"
A small grass owl saw Brock and ran up to him, cuddling him.
"Awwww, he's cute!" Dawn said
Rowlet's gaze turned dark and he looked at Dawn with a death glare
"And he's also one of my strongest," Ash said proudly
Piplup ran up to Rowlet and pecked him, Rowlet took great offense to Piplup's attack and screeched, causing the two birds to attack eachother before Ash recalled Rowlet,
"Sorry Dawn! Rowlet is fussy sometimes," Ash said, "But I really am from the future,"
"So uhhhh guess you're not lying, the Ash I know wouldn't lie about this stuff, so I guess welcome back to Sinnoh?" Brock said with a shrug
Dawn smiled at Ash, "Well, let's get some more rest, you're gonna need it for the big battle later today,"
Ash nodded, "Yeah, you're right,"
He smiled as he saw PIkachu talking to Piplup excitedly, Ash rolled his eyes. Those two were a chaotic duo back in the day, and he figured they'd be back up to their old schemes again.
Ash closed his eyes, both happy and sad that he was back in Sinnoh, whatever the case, he'd have to redeem himself against Paul, one way or another.
He fell asleep, dreaming of defeating Tobias again, and finally redeeming himself in a major pokemon league

The golden figure released itself into their true form
Giratina relaxed, messing with the humans was just a scheme, a scheme to distract Dialga and Palkia so he could overthrow Arceus.
He could defeat Arceus one on one, but not Dialga, Palkia and Arceus.
But now, he'd have to wait. It'd be a few weeks before they did enough damage to the timeline to warrant the attention of the gods. And when they were distracted, he'd make his move. And then, he'd become the ruler of all.
