JN Ash in Kalos POV:
Ash was almost in Lumiose City for the league finals, and it was getting harder and harder to maintain his secret.
First, he caught Bonnie spying on him and he just made up an excuse about his old pokemon, but the young girl kept on pestering him about getting Greninja back. So he had to deal with Bonnie being annoying because once her mind is set to a topic, there's no turning back.
Meanwhile, things with Serena were getting more and more awkward by the day, she was blatantly flirting with him around camp, and Ash started to question even his own feelings for her. It was more than just a desire to kiss her again at this rate, he loved spending time with her even more than he did during his Kalos adventure. He'd have to sort these feelings out sooner or later because he knew he'd regret it severely if he just let her go again. Ash sighed to himself, he'd have to tell her the truth eventually, because this was not sustainable in the slightest.
And Clemont was fine, honestly, he was closer to him now than he was back in Kalos on his first round, he helped Ash train and was the only person thus far who met his entire team. Bonnie just saw them, she hadn't met them yet.
The squad finally arrived in Lumoise and Ash confronted Clemont,
"Today is the day, today's the day we save Lumoise City. You know the plan?"
"We've been over this plan like ten times Ash, yes I know the plan," Clemont said as he rolled his eyes
"Well let's review one last time," Ash insisted
"Fine," Clemont said with a sigh
"Step one, you use the sewer access from the gym to sneak into Lysandre's apartment," Clemont said
"Step two, you use Gengar to hover you silently to his door, and use Pikachu to gently zap it open," Clemont said
"Step three, meanwhile, I break into Lysandre Labs HQ next door, and steal all of their data, and send that data to the police," Clemont said nervously.
"Step four, I confront Lysandre and if Gengar can't subdue him, I crush him in a battle and boom Lumoise is saved," Ash said with a smile
"Yeah, what could go wrong?" Asked Clemont
"Not much, not much at all," Ash said

The night came quickly, Clemont led everyone to the tower for lodging and the moment everyone seemed asleep, Ash snuck out and met Clemont in the basement of the tower.
"Ugh, it smells awful! What do you keep down here?" Ash asked Clemont
"Just my invention stuff, why? I can't smell anything?" Clemont said
"Agree to disagree, let's get this show on the road," Ash said
"Forgetting something?" Clemont asked as he held up a black jumpsuit and ski mask for both him and Ash to wear.
"Oh, yeah I uhhh I think I'll need that,"
Ash went behind a bench and got changed into the black jumpsuit and ski mask.
Clemont nodded and lifted the cover for the manhole which was conveniently located in the basement of the gym
Ash entered the manhole first and began climbing down the ladder, waiting for Clemont to follow him
The smell wasn't as bad as Ash thought, considering he was in a literal sewer
"You ready?" Ash asked Clemont as he reached the bottom of the ladder
"The sooner this is over, the sooner I can go home," Clemont muttered under his breath
"Alright, let's go," Ash said as he started walking towards Lysandre's apartment.
Clemont sighed and ran off towards Ash

About an hour of walking later, Ash stopped near another ladder, waiting for Clemont to catch up.
"Alright, we're here, once we climb up this ladder, I go left towards the labs and you go right towards the housing. Meet back here in two hours, and radio if you have any issues,"
Clemont said as he tossed Ash a walkie talkie
"Sounds good, now let's do this!" Ash said as he started to climb the ladder, Pikachu riding on his head.
Ash poked his head out of the manhole and looked around, not a soul was in sight.
"Coast is clear, lets move out and get this done with," Ash said as he looked around the dark alley he was in
"Alright, this is where we split up, for now, good luck Ash, meet you here in two hours," Clemont said as he walked off
Ash just gave a wave as he called Gengar out of his poke ball
"Alright Gengar, I want you to float me up to the seventh floor, drop me on the fire exit, and then you phase through the wall and open up the window for me," Ash said
"Gengar Gen!" Gengar said enthusiastically as he grabbed Ash and levitated seven stories off the ground and dropped Ash off on the fire exit.
Gengar phased through the wall and after a brief moment, the window opened.
Ash walked through the window and whispered a second order to Gengar, "Alright, now float me to the last door on the left," Gengar obeyed happily and picked up Ash and floated him to the door. Pikachu jumped off Ash's head and administered a small jolt of electricity to the panel, and the door was unlocked. Ash walked right in the room, and was horrified when he saw Lysandre sitting at the kitchen table, typing away on his laptop. Lysandre kept typing, before turning his attention towards Ash.
"Well this is a surprise, are you here to rob me? If so, you chose the wrong house," Lysandre said calmly, "Or perhaps, you're here to fight me? Is that the case?"
Ash grimaced and spoke in an angry tone, "Fight you? No, I'm here to stop you and your plans,"
Lysandre smirked, "Oh, so that's the case? So be it, if it's a fight you want my friend, it's a fight you shall receive,"
Lysandre called out his Pyroar,
"Pyroar, the time is now!"
Ash had no patience for this,
"Pikachu, I choose you!"
"Flamethrower, burn the rat," Lysandre calmly said
Ash made a motion with his fingers and Gengar struck Lysandre with an Ice Punch, and he went crashing into his kitchen counter
"Good job Gengar," Ash said calmly
Gengar did a happy dance and Ash smiled at his partner
Lysandre stood back up, "Hmmmm well, that changes things,"
Ash yelled out, "I WON'T LET YOU KILL ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE" Ash gave another order, "Pikachu and Gengar, Thunderbolt, and Night Shade!"
Pikachu and Gengar attacked at the same time, and landed a critical blow on Pyroar, smashing a Pyroar sized hole through the wall.
Pyroar was clearly unconscious, and Lysandre recalled his pokemon.
"Can't call out Gyarados in such a closed environment now can we?" Ash said in a mocking voice
Large by the standards of his species, Gyarados would destroy the apartment.
"Actually, I don't care," Lysandre said calmly while reaching for a Poke Ball
He hit the button and a massive water snake emerged, crushing the apartment complex
"Ah sh!t this just got very complicated," Ash said

Meanwhile, in the labs
Clemont was doing just fine, he had breached the office, was harvesting data and WAS THAT A GYARADOS?
Clemont slapped his forehead. Typical Ash, causing problems like that. He rolled his eyes and went back to work, he was certain that Ash would take care of the problem.
Meanwhile,
"Pikachu, are you ok?" Ash yelled out as Pikachu was struck with a vicious blow from Gyarados.
"So that's probably a no," Ash said
"Gyarados, blast him with incinerate," Lysandre yelled out
Pikachu dodged the attack and rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding the deadly blast
"Thunderbolt again!" Ash yelled out
Pikachu launched a thunderbolt attack which did nothing but enrage Gyarados even further.
Lysandre gave his command, "Gyarados, blast the rat again but this time with a hyper beam!"
Ash yelled out, "Pikachu, dodge again!"
But Pikachu wasn't prepared for the sheer strength and width of the hyper beam, the attack sent Pikachu crashing into a nearby building, and Gyarados gave another roar.
"Gengar, attack with night shade again," Ash cried out
"Incinerate again, now Gyarados," Gyarados opened fire quite literally and scorched Gengar, sending one of Ash's loyal pokemon straight into a wall.
Ash recalled Gengar, "Hey, great work out there, now hold on because I'll need you later,"
Ash grimaced and looked towards the ground, "Well, I really didn't want it to come to this, but I guess I have no choice! Let's go Lucario!"
Ash summoned his Lucario and Lysandre smiled, "Fine, time for the ace in my hole," Lysandre flashed his mega ring and Ash smirked,
"Two can play at that game," Ash said
Both trainers reached for their keystone and smashed it, both yelling out
"Mega Evolve now!"
Lysandre's Gyarados and Ash's Lucario were both coated in the familiar purple coating and exploded in a familiar glow in their strengthened states
"My Gyarados has the power of a legendary, call off your dog and we can pretend this never happened," Lysandre said calmly
Gyarados thrashed its tail and scowled at Lucario, waiting for Ash's loyal pokemon to make his move.
Ash laughed, "I realized my mistake from last time, and I'm committed to stopping you, Lucario, let's go! Use aura sphere, you know where to aim" Lucario got the memo and started charging up his attack
Gyarados waited for instructions from his trainer who looked confused from what Ash had just said to him.
"Last time?" Lysandre said confused, before being promptly struck in the head with an aura sphere, sending him into a nearby wall knocking him unconscious.
"After all the things you've done, you don't deserve a fair battle, it's wrong to have pokemon attack humans, but after you tortured me and my pokemon, killed innocents, and hurt my friends, it's the least you deserve," Ash said while looking over Lysandre's unconscious form
Meanwhile, Gyarados was still rampaging across the city, and Ash was hit from an attack, causing his mask to tear slightly as Gyarados fired off an incinerate attack that grazed his skin.
Pikachu stood back up and went back to Ash's side
"Sometimes, it's better to work harder instead of smarter, Lucario are you ready for my plan?"
Lucario nodded and Ash pointed at a building under construction.
"I want you to lead Gyarados to that building, and when I give the command, destroy the scaffolding and drop the building on Gyarados,"
Lucario started running towards the building, and Gyarados chased or slithered after him in hot pursuit.
Lucario dodged Hyper Beams which struck cars and nearby buildings before purposely cornering himself against the building.
Gyarados approached Lucario and roared, preparing to defeat his foe, but Ash was ten steps ahead of the rampaging pokemon.
Ash sprinted towards his Lucario and screamed out, "Steel beam, now! Destroy the foundation!"
Lucario fired a steel beam, cutting through the beams and pillars supporting the building like a butcher knife through butter. As the building toppled, Lucario was fast enough to escape at the last moment, barely avoiding being crushed. Gyarados…. was not as lucky
A five-story building toppled on top of Gyarados and crushed the pokemon, causing him to faint from the blow.
Ash looked around sadly at all the chaos he had caused. Two buildings were destroyed, at least a hundred cars were destroyed and there was a fire caused by Gyarados's incinerate attacks. As the police sirens drew closer, Ash left Lysandre's Gyarados for the police to handle and ran back into the alley where Lysandre lay unconscious.
"Pick him up, we've got to get him back," Ash ordered his Lucario who gladly complied (although not lifting him gently)
Ash radioed Clemont, "Mission accomplished, let's get out of here,"
Clemont radioed back, "Turn around, I'm right here," Clemont waved at Ash while holding a USB stick full of data. "Mission accomplished for me, now let's get out of here,"
Clemont lifted up the manhole cover and Ash and Pikachu, Lucario and Clemont all climbed down the hole
As they were walking back through the sewers, Clemont thanked Ash
"Thanks, Ash, I…. I doubted you at first about all this, but I found so much evidence. Kalos would have been destroyed if his plans succeeded, I owe you one, seriously. I don't want to think about all the lives lost,"
Ash shook his head, "No, thank you Clemont, thanks for the help" Ash said with a smile
"So… what exactly are we gonna do with him?" Clemont said
"Uhhh not sure honestly," Ash said, if we turn him in, he'll escape from his supporter's help. And I don't wanna kill him, so I'm open to ideas," Ash said
"Turning in this data to the police is a must, and if the police catch wind of what he's done, he won't be welcome in Kalos ever again," Clemont said
"Yeah, but Team Flare members will still stay loyal," Ash said with a sigh
Clemont's eyes widened, "I have an idea,"
"Well, what is it?" Ash asked
"Well, I know a guy…."
Ash smiled, "Fine by me, just make sure he'll never hurt Kalos again!"

Lysandre woke up tied up with chains to a chair
A figure approached him, it was a…. A pokemon?
"Oh f**k," Lysandre said as a Hypno approached him happily
Ash watched in amusement as Lysandre was hypnotized into believing he was a clown in the Hoenn region.
"So where exactly did you find a Hypno again? You never told me" Ash asked
"A scientist never reveals his secrets," Clemont said
Hypno Bot's batteries wouldn't die for another five years.
Poor Lysandre

Ash stayed out for the rest of the night, unable to sleep, he went on a Dragonite ride. He swooped down early in the morning, landing at the top of the Lumiose tower, where. Serena was waiting.
"Care to explain?" Serena asked as she held up a picture on her Pokedex from a news article.
Chaos Downtown, As a wild Mega Gyarados rampages through the streets.
Reports say the Gyarados was defeated by a vigilante with a Lucario
"What does this have to do with- oh…."
Part of Ash's ski mask ripped, revealing his signature birthmark which was in the article
Serena pointed at the birthmark
"Explain. Now." Serena said
Ash sighed, he really was cornered in a lie here, and this was as good of a time as any, to tell the truth.
"Serena, there's something I have to tell you," Ash said
