a/n: I'm good doing daily chapters for now, but again, no guarantees.
I work a lot and attend school full time.
Also, once legends comes out, no promises
Anyways, here's the chapter
Sinnoh Ash in Alola POV:
He had won.
Ash Ketchum had won a pokemon league. Serena fell to her knees in shock.
His friends from earlier ran onto the battlefield, and no one was faster than that blonde girl. She wrapped Ash in a hug, and they made eye contact and shared a smile for a brief moment before Ash was swarmed by the rest of his friends.
"Ash you did it!" screamed the boy with red streaks in his hair. He smacked Ash on the forehead and let out a happy cry.
The green-haired girl joined in the group hug, "Ash, I'm so proud of you! You did it! You've won!"
The blue-haired girl joined in also, "Ash, it's over! You're the first-ever Alolan champion!"
Ash just looked in shock at those words, "Yeah, I'm the champion…."
He'd need to tell everyone in this group hug that he wasn't from this timeline. It wasn't fair to them. He'd spent less than a day in Alola, and now he was expected to be the region's champion? That wasn't fair to native Alolans.
Just then, Serena approached Ash, and he squeezed out of the group hug.
An awkward silence emerged between the two, neither knowing what exactly to say.
"Hey, good battle out there," Ash said, breaking the silence
"Yeah….. thanks," Serena said with a sigh, clearly disappointed.
"It's ok Serena, I know that you're gonna win a league with a team that strong, so next time we battle, it'll be even better than the last time," Ash said
Serena smiled, "Yeah, I can't wait,"
Ash offered her a hand, "Next time we battle, it'll be as the two strongest champions,"
She took Ash's hand and shook it, "I'm looking forward to that day, and I promise you it'll be the best battle of both of our lives"
Ash laughed at that, "Can't wait,"
"So what's your next move?" Ash questioned
"I think I'm going home to Kalos, I'm gonna try and dethrone the champion there," Serena explained
Ash nodded, "Well, I wish you the best of luck, see you around Serena, and don't forget our promise!"
"Not for the world," Serena said with a wave as she walked off
Ash looked for Pikachu, and couldn't find him on the battlefield. Until he looked to the stands, which caused him to snicker. Pikachu was crowd surfing, clearly having a blast. Ash just rolled his eyes.
Ash was approached by a man who was shirtless underneath the lab coat he was wearing,
"Ash, you did it! How's it feel to be our newest champ!" the man said excitedly
"Ummm I'm super excited!" Ash said quickly
"Awesome, because I'm having a party at my house tonight. But I gotta ask, why'd you not use your Alolan team in the finals? As cool as Infernape and Garchomp were, I think that your Alolan team would have done just as good of a job," The man said
"Oh, umm they were sick so I used an old team from my past adventures," Ash explained
"Ah, well no matter, I'm having a party at my house tonight to celebrate, and when you get home be sure to help me clean beforehand," The man explained
"Oh… yeah, no worries," Ash said confused
"I'm gonna need to talk to Rotom-Dex," Ash thought to himself
Later…..
Ash cleared his throat, "Rotom Dex, I need your help," Ash rolled his eyes as the Pokedex flew towards him
"Hey, I need you to explain who the guy in that lab coat was, is he someone important?"
"Ash, he's basically your dad, you live with him, and he's helped you so much during your time in Alola,"
"WHAT!?" Ash said in shock
"Yeah I know, it seems like you guys are related, but you somehow aren't," Rotom Dex said as he flew around Ash
Ash sighed, "Well I agreed to go to his house, or I guess our house for a celebration party, and I just…. Can I trust him with the truth?"
Rotom Dex defended Kukui "Ash, of course! He'll absolutely know what to do, he's a good man, and someone you should trust,"
"Well, if that's the case, I suppose I'll let him know. What about the others?" questioned Ash
Rotom Dex raised a virtual eyebrow "Do you mean your friends?"
Ash nodded
"Well, I think that you should start by talking with the blonde girl Lille, you two have grown awfully close in your time in Alola, and she'd really appreciate the truth from you,"
Ash scratched his head, "When you say awfully close, does that mean she likes me?"
Rotom-Dex shrugged, "I'm a pokemon Ash, how would I know? But between us, I think she does,"
"So that's a yes?"
Rotom Dex flew off, "Figure that out later, for now, you need to tell Lille and Kukui the truth about your circumstances,"
Ash sighed, "So looks like I'm confessing,"

Later that afternoon:
Ash opened the door to the house, Kukui wasn't home. So Ash was all alone, spare Pikachu on his shoulder.
He opened the door, which led to a room where some pictures were on a desk, a large loft bed on top of it.
One of Ash and all of his pokemon at oak's lab, one of Ash and some friends that he didn't recognize yet, maybe some people he met in the future. There was one of Ash and the Alolan group, and that blonde girl was next to him. And finally, one of Ash and Pikachu alongside Kukui.
Ash didn't know how to feel looking at these pictures, holding memories that he never got to experience. It was….. confusing, to say the least.
Ash sighed and looked around, noticing a piece of paper hidden hastily underneath a picture frame.
It looked to be a message of….. Was that a love letter? Did future him have a crush?
Oh wait, it was just a letter from his Mom.
Ash sighed and read the letter
Dear Ash, I wanted to surprise you, but I'm so sorry that professor oak and I can't make it to the conference finals. I'm feeling really sick, and can't even leave my bed, let alone the house. Don't worry about me! Next time you're home, I want to hear all about it! Good luck!
Love,
-Mom
Well, he certainly did make his mom proud.
Rotom-Dex mentioned earlier that Kukui was like a dad to him, Ash wondered where his real dad was right now, and if he could beat him in a battle.
But, maybe it would be smarter to prepare for the party.

Kukui was setting up food before the party when Ash walked out into the living room.
Kukui's face lit up into a smile when he saw Ash, "There's the Champ! How are you?"
"Ummmm, professor can we talk?" Ash said nervously
"Yeah, of course? What's up? Girl issues? Puberty stuff?" Kukui said half-jokingly
Ash looked shocked, "WHAT? NO! NO!"
The professor laughed, "Just kidding Ash, but seriously, what's up?"
"I um there's something I need to tell you," Ash said nervously
"Go on," Kukui said
Ash took a deep breath, waited for a moment, and spoke, "I'm…. I'm actually from the past. Like I shouldn't be here, I woke up yesterday, almost two years in the future,"
Kukui scratched his beard, "Well… that's certainly surprising,"
"Do you believe me?" Ash said
Kukui nodded, "I was at the Lily of the Valley conference for a research conference on battles the year you competed in it, I'd recognize that crazy strong Infernape anywhere, my colleagues and I all agreed that was one of the strongest Infernape we've ever seen,"
Ash snorted, "Tell me about it,"
"So that's a yes?"
Kukui explained his reasoning, "Yes, I believe you, the Ash I know wouldn't lie about something like this, not to mention you left out your Alolan team, which you'd never do. Finally, trouble has a way of finding you with these strange events, so I absolutely believe you,"
Ash smiled, "Thanks Professor,"
Kukui gave Ash a genuine and heartfelt smile "And Ash, no matter what timeline you're from, you're always welcome in my house,"
Ash smiled back, "Thanks, I really appreciate that,"
Kukui changed the topic, "Of course, now tell me, what do you think of the future,"
"Can't complain about winning a league," Ash said with a laugh, "I do have one question, however, how can I do a Z move like Serena did?"
Kukui laughed, "Well, you're in luck, I know a guy who can help you find one, or rather a pokemon who can get back to me in a few days and I'll get ya a ring so you can perform ultra-powerful Z moves. After all, it'd be wrong to have an Alolan champion who doesn't even have a Z ring!"
"Valid, now come over here and help me with the dishes, just because you time-traveled doesn't mean you can escape house chores,"
Ash laughed and walked towards the dishwasher, picking up a rag.
He really appreciated Kukui

Later that night:
It seemed like half of the island had shown up to the party, there were so many people inside the house, and even more on the beach outside of the house. Ash was told "congrats" by so many people, the word seemed like a weird sound at this point.
Ash's friends were all celebrating inside, socializing, and eating. Eventually, Ash was able to find some privacy in his room. "I still have to talk to Lille, Rotom-Dex said she's trustworthy,"
The door creaked open and Lille walked in
"Hey Ash, just checking in on you, I haven't been able to say congratulations and I'm really proud of you. Or at least not when it's just you and me," Lille said
"Thanks, Lille, I really appreciate it,"
"Of course, Ash, let's head back to the party now," Lille was about to leave, when Ash closed the door, preventing her from leaving
"Lille, there's something that I need to tell you,"
Lille felt her heart speed up, this wasn't like Ash, not that she was complaining, but this wasn't like him.
"Oh… yeah, what do you wanna tell me?" Lille said nervously
"Lille I…. I…. I'm from the past like I'm a time traveler"
Lille went from feeling butterfree in her stomach, to shock
"I'm sorry, what?!" Lille yelled
"You heard me right, I'm from the past, about two years to be precise," Ash said awkwardly
Lille looked very confused, "So we're actually the same age now?"
Ash was counting on his fingers "Umm yeah,"
Lille blinked a few times in shock "Oh, well, uhh I don't really know how to process this,"
Ash sighed, "I'm sorry, Rotom-Dex just said I could trust you and that we were really good friends in the future,"
"Well Ash, I still consider you my best friend, and know that I appreciate you a lot," Lille said
"So you're all good with me?" Ash said nervously
Lille just hugged Ash, "I'm pretty sure you must be scared, coming here not knowing anyone at a time like this, but I'm always here for ya,"
Ash blushed at the hug, "Oh…thanks Lille,"
"So what now?" Ash questioned
"Well, I think we need to tell the others eventually, and then we need to establish the Alolan league as a legitimate pokemon league," Lille said
Ash looked at Lille confused, "Who's we?"
Lille spoke her plan "All of us! We're gonna register an Elite Four, and then enter the Pokemon World Tournament, hopefully, rack up some wins along the way,"
Ash smiled at Lille, "Well if you just want me to win battles and enjoy Alola, I think I can do that just fine,"
Lille giggled, "I'd expect nothing less from my champion, now come on, let's go outside, people probably noticed we were gone by now,"
Lille grabbed Ash's hand and led him back out into the party.

Everyone had left the party,
A bolt of lightning slammed in front of the house, or rather a pokemon did, and then a second pink bolt, then a green one, and finally a blue one.
Kukui looked in awe, and Ash was just confused.
"What's going on?" Ash said confused
"Those are the island deities, and they rarely interact all as one, so this must be important," whispered Kukui into Ash's ear
The yellow one laid a Z ring at Ash's feet, with all of the necessary crystals inside.
"Wow, thanks for the gift!"
The pink, green and blue ones flew off, and the yellow one gazed at Pikachu for a moment before flying back off.
"Ready to get to work tomorrow Ash?" Kukui said
Ash nodded and went back inside
He had important work to do. After all, he was a champion.
